I downloaded "AmazingMaps" because I wanted real time information on the weather in the place I was driving to which was way up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere. It claims to be an app offered by Google Chrome. I should have known first of all that you can get realtime updates on Google without downloading anything. After I downloaded this trash, I looked for an icon on my desktop that always appears with downloads and it was non-existent. I looked for it in downloads and it could not be found. Then I immediately saw that each time I clicked on a website or email that I was being redirected to a site that had nothing to do with what I was clicking on. The page I needed was moved aside and I was violated by a page of advertising. When I went into the settings of my computer and checked the box to disallow
pop-ups and redirects, this failed to get rid of the the pop-ups and redirects. Furthermore, everything AmazingMaps claims to be is a lie. I attempted to upload a history here of the forcible redirects that started immediately after I downloaded AmazingMaps and this site rejected it for being the wrong size. I showed pictures of the redirects that happen when I click on my emails and other things. This did not happen until I downloaded the wrong thing.
