I ordered for my disabled wife while I was at work. They ( The Front Room on California in SF) called her back and said to her can you come downstairs, the driver does not want to pay for parking. After a few bad remarks in Spanish they begrudgingly delivered burned pasta with no sauce. Lettuce with no salad toppings and no dressing. And the drive smiled as he took a 5 dollar tip from his disabled victim. Knowing they messed up her order. Being the day before we ordered the same thing for her she loved it, so she wanted the same thing again.
The order was pasta with garlic sauce and a Greek salad.
When i notified eat 24 they stared to want to help. Bur after 4 email, and a week still no satisfaction.
It is now my mission for everyone to know about this.
My wife used eat24.com earlier this month while visiting our daughter in Atlanta. Then suddenly we have been barraged by illegal use of our credit card in the last few days. As we investigated, we also found multiple charges against our card on the same day (while in Atlanta) - which they did NOT do. However, not having the receipts, there was nothing we could do...
Avoid them like the plague! We had the credit card cancelled. Eat24 was the only charges that have been made on that card in the last 4 months, so I don't think it's a large leap of faith to be assured that's where the breach started.
I ordered food, and almost 2 hours later i didn't receive anything.The money was taken off my debit card so i assumed my food was on it's way. I called and they told me i would have to wait up to 5 business days to get my money back, because their system was down so my order didn't go through. Needless to say i was very upset. I will never order through them again.
I am very discouraged with the amount of care that Eat24 places on their orders. My order was sent to the wrong address due to a miscommunication between Eat24 and the restaurant. Although the driver was helpful, he mentioned that he contacted Eat 24 about the matter. They did not once contact me to apologize or ask me about my order since it was later than the time I had requested it be delivered. I then contacted customer support that could not explain why the order went to the wrong address, but as a token for the inconvenience they sent me a coupon valued at $2... Not much help. They did not once apologize for ask if the order was okay since it was late. Unfortunately I will no longer use their services and will opt to use another company for deliveries from now on.
I've ordered through them several times without incident. Their customer service has gone downhill. I see I am not the only one feeling this way based on the other reviews. I ordered through them and there was a problem with the order. They said they called the restaurant and they just sided with them. I guess they didn't believe I was missing items? Why would I waste time and call about that? Eat24 told me they would offer me a $3 credit on my next order if I ordered through them within 30 days. How generous of them. I will not be ordering through them again.
Tried them again after promising myself months ago I would never do so. Why? Convenience due to a small whiny child. The result: a whiny adult joined the whiny child. As always, 'customer support' was ABSOLUTELY no help whatsoever. DO NOT support this business!
Recently started using eat24 in berkeley. First couple times it was ok delivered within 45 mins. Last night I ordered checked on my food midway 35 mins after my order and was told food will be delivered in 20 mins. After waiting 30 mins from that time I checked again when I was told by eat 24 that they lost my order and will take another 35 mins. On bring asked what they are doing about that they told us there will give us $3 off. Needless to say we canceled our order but the service was just unprofessional. Never again! They shut down chat on being told they messed my order!
Ordering from app for 1.5+ years. People on Sf (what a hoot!) stated they contacted restaurant and stated order on its way -2.5 hours lmao- $#*!es got snooty with me. They get paid either way lol! I looked up restaurant and hours were not correct. They are unprofessional, rude, and not willing to own up to their own faults. Had to apologize to delivery man(whom I kinow personally)- boo. You guys suck! Enjoy your $!
Everytime lets say i order a make your own pasta they short it like 2 or three items thats 5 bucks then short me a drink. So like 6 bucks a order over 100,000 of orders makes millions. So i think they purposely type your order wrong with the 3rd party resteraunt so its right with them just wrong from what you punched in the app thus they get a few extra bucks here and there and the resteraunt just followed the incorrect order.
I placed an order at 4pm on March 6 in Phoenix, AZ. They took the money from my PayPal account and never placed the order. They have not refunded my money even after I provided proof of the transaction.
Eat 24 without a doubt is the slowest food delivery service I have ever dealt with. You are guaranteed to get COLD FOOD and get it 20-40 minutes later than promised. They take your money and do nothing to help you after that! Grubhub albeit slightly more expensive is worth the couple of dollars, because they employ the drivers and are normally ALWAYS on time or early! All the EAT24 Restaurants beg us to call them directly next time! Hmmmm
I placed an order for 3 different sandwiches, on check out for pick up it processed it as 2 same sandwiches. The restaurant isn't able to cancel eat24 orders themselves and eat24 HAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I call and call and they do not answer the phone. Live chat is bogus they said they were canceling my order but never asked for an order number or gave any proof. I ended up paying for my meals 2 times! This app is a scam!
I ordered a pizza & salad online using Eat24 to pick it up myself (no delivery) from a local pizza place 2 miles from my home. The timeframe for the estimated pick up was 10 mins - 50 mins. Really? Typically, it only takes 15 mins max from the time I call in my order. I received a text stating the restaurant was busier than usual and my order would be later. Mind you, I was on my way to pick up my food when I received the text. I got to the restaurant which wasn't busy and asked about my order. I was told the app was down and they just received my order and my pizza was in the oven. Eat24 is unreliable and unaccountable for their lousy service. The text I rec'd was inaccurate. Had I relied on the info from Eat24, I would have been hangry and gone off on the restaurant. Glad I followed my instinct to drive to the restaurant based on past experience. I got my order 8 mins after I arrived at the restaurant. Don't use Eat24; the service is UNRELIABLE and the company is unaccountable!
I am a restuarnat owner, and I have to call their custoer service everytime a customer decides to cancel their order, and everytime i call the the customer service ppl give me an attitude! And they never answer their chat from the device they provide for us. anyways... the worst cite to work with. Do not recommend!
I have used this place twice and had super bad luck both times. Lied to about times, told it would take 90+ minutes, this is unacceptable for FOOD DELIVERY SERVICE.

Really wrostt app ever I'll never use the app again and strongly i don't recommend anyone to use it they toke 5 dollars extra from the recite and I have i proof that also they don't send all the items you ordered I orded diet coke and ranch sous but didn't revived them the last thing the delivery came late 30 minutes late don't use this app
After a two (2) hrs. Wait, I called this company and they told me that my order was not processed, but they charged me $45.00!

I am a restaurant owner that strives to offer our customers convenience and great food and service. Unfortunately, today cancelled using the Eat24 online order system because the failure of their system cost me customer relationship problems and having to give customers food for free. After providing full documentation to Eat24 showing the problem, two of their customer support reps told me Eat24 would make it right by my restaurant and customers. Today EAT24 told me they were willing to do nothing, thus not honoring the customer support commitment, leaving my restaurant unpaid for the orders and my customers with multiple charges on their credit card by EAT24. So I cancelled the ability of my customers to order food through the EAT24 system. I have my own online ordering system which works fabulously, so this cancelling my customers' ability to order through EAT24 will only positively impact my business. If you are looking to add online ordering to your restaurant, there are other solutions available than EAT24. You need to have a company you can trust and that pays you for the orders placed through their system. Eat 24 does not measure up.
I've now had two interactions with their customer service, and both were horrid. This last time I had a restaurant with an extremely rude delivery driver who YELLED at both my girlfriend and I when he couldn't find our apartment. So when we discovered a hair in our chilaquiles AFTER eating a healthy portion of them we were pretty upset. However, that was only the beginning of my woes. I contacted customer support through their messaging app (only way we could contact them on the app, btw) and requested to speak with a manager. I was however stonewalled and ultimately ignored for over 20 minutes (I kept a screenshot of the chat log it was so ridiculous) until I finally called, livid. It again took nearly 5 minutes to connect to a manager, and when I finally did she wanted a picture (?!?) of the offending hair. Finally we did get a refund after 40 minutes, but I will NEVER be using them again. I can't believe the rudeness and disrespect, this company needs to seriously evaluate how they treat customers.
I ordered for me and my daughter around 1:20 pm - at 2:30 called and was told it would be there by 2:45. When it still hadnt arrived by 3:30 I called again and was told it was cancelled because I didnt answer my phone - which is a LIE because my phone was next to me and the driver couldnt find my house also big LIE because my house is easily found on GPS - shame on you
Made up stories and unsatisfactory customer relations they do nothing respond when want and make up answers too satisfy them selves,, beware
Charged my PayPal account 6 times, got food once - no refund yet and the charges did not clear, as their help desk told me.
