The lessons are terrible. Vague, repetitive, and drawn out. They refuse to provide necessary information or material until you do a quiz. The most annoying thing is how it forces you to stay on a lesson page until a video or audio clip has completed. Sometimes it's just a short bit of text to read that you have to sit on for minutes until you can continue. Whoever's job it is to format this site has little to no care for those who actually use it.

I have used Edgenuity for school very often and this happens every time. I can multitask see. So when I make the tab smaller ( not close it or hide it) just having it smaller than full screen glitches it out. The glitches include, but are not limited to, the videos repeatedly scrolling themselves out of the boundaries, pixelization of the screen, tab/tabs repeating horizontally making it seem like i have hundreds of the same tabs stacked on top of eachother, screen flickering, and much more. There have also been a glitch that has effected both my friends and I: Flickering. This glitch happens after you use the program and may last weeks. It hasn't happened before to any one of my friends. It has happened directly after using the program. If that could get fixed I would be very grateful.

The Edgenuity promotional video claims that this curriculum adapts to student needs. I haven't experienced this at all. The basic framework for the courses is linear, so you can't skip around or choose what you're working on at any point. You have to fully complete each assignment regardless of whether it's doable or even beneficial to you. I don't see how that can be marketed as adaptive. Additionally, the course has every single assignment planned out from the moment you start it, so it really doesn't change based on the student. Actually, it doesn't seem like it's been updated in at least 10 years. I am enrolled in both Algebra 2B and Spanish 1B and I've basically given up on the Algebra course at this point, because trying to do both of them is just too tiring. In in-person learning I used to be a top student in both of these classes. It's really disappointing for me because I have no way of making up the credit.
I can only really speak for the Spanish 1B course, but my general experience has been going something like this:
-Extremely outdated coursework
-Lack of subtitles in audio-based assignments, just generally not accommodating
-Crashing

The most boring website i've ever used. It's boring and long. Videos are unskippable, super boring i almost fall asleep while doing it. The quality is also horrendous to the point that it makes me laugh. If you wanna make a learning platform, DO BETTER. 0/10 Do NOT recommend.

Where do I even begin? The whole outline of the platform is terrible and is leaving me and my peers frustrated. I am currently behind, and it's because the platform is glitching. Not to even mention the videos are bland and don't even fully explain anything. Also, someone PLEASE tell me why the grades go into decimals? I got an 89.8 on my report card when it would've just rounded up to a 90.

Two words to describe this: Long and Complicating. About 15 lessons every day worth of like 10 minutes of complicated explanation each lesson. Our district assigned a diagnostic test and this platform gave us 132 questions. I heard if you're on your computer and you log out of your computer while one the test, your test gets locked. I don't know if that's true or not. Stick to Freckle, I Ready, Prodigy, or what I do: Search the answers. Any other website than this. Goodbye.

Super boring and no one likes it, at least make your lessons entertaining enough for me to pay attention.
You see, I have a REALLY low attention span which means if I don't something then I can't pay attention to it. When I was in actual school, I could somewhat pay attention sometimes but now I can't even. Also, website is an eye soar, use cooler colors and don't make everything white or at least have a dark mode.

It is very dull and confusing it expects us to teach ourselves by reading translations and taking notes the tests are more complex than the stuff they teach you and it is very easy to get distracted you can also skip submitting something accidentally and not get to redo it or look back at it. I don't think anyone I know likes it, it also puts a lot of pressure on students to get 5 hours done a week.

As a student that regularly has to use Edge, I have to say that it is one of the worst education sites that I've ever used. The lessons are painfully mundane and boring, the information confusing, and website itself insanely glitchy. Overall, Edgenuity has been a bad experience for me.

This review is going to be simple and short.

This website is $#*!ing hilarious. The poorly sized stock photos of random children and random objects that have nothing to do with the subject, the mundane teachers reading a script, the 240p resolution, the unexpected mic booms, I could go on.

This website is hilarious and I would not recommend lmao.

One reason on a no school day we still have work to do, which means every day of the school year we have work to do if we dont want to get behind.that is the reason why i am over 40 hours behind.Over all edgenuity learning is not fun.Getting a answer correct along with hearing the ring sound is the only satisfying thing along with passing the unit test and assignments.It would be nice if somebody got a answer wrong the sound could be nicer.One last thing when i fail a unit test twice i get discouraged

This is the worst online learning platform used today. We student's are not learning anything from it so much as just waisting our class time staring at a screen. This site should honestly be taken down and teachers put back in our classrooms.

It's terrible. I'm doing FLVS school online. I have 4 classes on that program and then for some odd reason they gave me 2 more classes on edgenuity. This is new because we've never used edgenuity the first 3 years of my online high school classes. I didn't even know I had classes on edgenuity until 2 months into the school year, so I have over 84 overdue assignments. They're assigning 8 assignments a day and expect you to complete all of those 3 hour lessons that are unskippable as well as assignments, projects, quizzes, and unit test all in ONE day. I am flooded with all of this work as well as my other high school classes on flvs that I need to do as well. I'm very behind in my flvs classes because I am trying to complete and catch up on my edgenuity work! This is extremely frustrating and unnecessary. I don't understand how they expect me or any other student to learn or get anything done, they have no consideration and it is extremely hard to stay on pace. I started working on those assignments trying to catch up from 11 in the morning until 9 at night! Just for me to behind again the next day. It's completely draining! I Do Not Recommend This Program At All.

This school not only overloads my child's mind with excess work and information but also has a heavy political undertone in each subject (particularly English). The English course is only focused on race, particularly the achievements of minorities which is not bad on its own but ruins the study of English by only focusing on one select group. There is nothing in the course about Hemmingway, Austin, or any other great English writers. Woke and would not recommend it.

I'm a student who uses edge and I absolutely hate it, I got a 0 on an essay because Edgenuity said it was word-for-word plagiarized but I wrote it entirely by myself, I've had so many glitches, it is just so hard to listen to it because I just can not keep in the info in my head. I just did a healthy living thing and all I had to do was take the article it gave me and copy it into the box and I got a 100. I am getting slammed with labs and essays and like 10 other things almost every day and I'm tired normally I work from 7-5 every day and I either get a little ahead or like a week behind, if I take a day off I'm just somehow behind again and it takes me so long to get back ahead, and I feel like I'm not learning anything.

Edgnuity is honestly pretty good i dont hate it it is meh but all of my classmates hate it and i dont know why Like i think it is really goo

This app is mandatory at my school, however, whilst I learn algebra, Edunuity tries to teach me slope. Aside from the fact it is random and the tests are far to hard, Edgunuity is not a good learning program because it is not engaging. It is lame and easy to cheat. The lessons are repetitive and off the curriculum. Edgenuity does not care about mastery, only memorization. The website is constantly slow. You have to be on the platform for more than five minutes before it starts your time tracker. Khan Academy is a better platform to use for both home school and public school.

I'm a student currently in 8th grade and agree with the majority of comments. The platform sucks. It is not engaging in any way whatsoever. The website has multiple bugs and errors whether it be logging you out or just completely freezing.

Instead of most schools where if you are struggling on a topic or specific question you can ask for help or advice in this school you cannot. You have to sit through these 30-minute-long lectures slowly waiting for them to finish. The teachers are mundane and are just reading a script, some speaking incredibly fast and some incredibly slow. Some teachers will just take 5-second long pauses and the worst part is that you cannot skip the lesson. You need to listen to every second of that teacher speak until you can move on to the next section. The topics also seem to be quite repetitive and outdated.

The worst two things about this platform that I hate the most of all are:
1. Some days you will get massive amounts of work for no reason. For example, getting 8 assignments for one day for one class (I will post a picture).
2. If you get a project that (in a regular school) would be due in a week, on this platform it is due on the day you receive the assignment. For example, I got an essay project out of nowhere for Africa. I was working on the project well past when regular public schools get out. I'm talking like 5pm - 6pm. I started the assignment around 12pm - 1pm.

After hours of staring at 20 different teachers talk about different subjects with their monotone and mundane-sounding voices/tones. You get really bored and it becomes hard to pay attention. I absolutely do not recommend this platform. Not in the slightest.
