Ordered gas log set on 11/12. Salesperson said they were in stock and would ship the same day. Called today to get status of order. I was told it will be 8 weeks before they would get a shipment. Went to their website and they are still showing the same gas log set as being in stock. It's obvious they are taking orders for items that are advertised as "in stock" when in fact they are not in stock. Cancelled the order. Don't believe a word they say.

We were unable to find the 7" stove pipe locally. After an internet search my husband found eFireplaceStore. They had the product, responded quickly and professionally. Our family member had their chimney up and working within a matter of a few days. Excellent Service!
I had planned to create my own hearth, but after pricing the materials at the local big box store, I concluded that it would cost about 2/3 of the price of this prefabricated hearth, and I'd still have to do all the work. I've seen other reviews complaining that the photograph doesn't accurately reflect the color, which is true, but it's actually much more attractive than the photo, in my opinion. It was delivered much more quickly than I expected, by a very helpful and pleasant carrier, in perfect condition. I installed it, drilled the necessary gas line hole, and now I'm anxiously awaiting delivery and installation of my new fireplace.

We ordered a surround and safety barrier package for our 50" double-sided fireplace. The manufacturer erred and sent only the surrounds. efireplacestore.com advised us to refuse the shipment and they would correct it. The follow through was great. After the manufacturer received the original returned packages, the correct item was shipped via 2-day delivery and works perfectly. We will definitely buy from again. The way a store handles errors is often more important than all the orders that were handled correctly. The efireplacestore employees were great and I did not have to leave a message and wait for a return call - nice to communicate with actual people!

Service was great! I reviewed their website and then called them with a few questions I had. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and what she didn't know, she phoned someone else and got my answers from tech support. I placed my order with her. Shipping was a little confusing in that it came from multiple warehouses and 3 different carriers, but with her help we were able to track everything and all was received in less than a week and no damage.
I'm remodeling a house I recently purchased, and want to install a wood burning fireplace. In the past, I have had a great deal of experience installing/repairing fireplaces. I want a wood burning unit because I have an unlimited supply of wood, and don't want to be dependent upon gas or electricity. I was surprised when I discovered that manufacturers and suppliers hardly stock wood burning fireplaces any more, and are pushing customers to purchase gas and electric models. EFireplaceStore was virtually the only distributor I could find who sold the firebox and all the accessories I needed. I ordered a complete chimney kit, at a great price, and it was delivered quickly, in perfect shape. They are very professional and provide detailed instruction for those without prior experience. Wow did I have a crazy day, big order of piping got delivered to wrong place, things went crazy, luckily I was able to talk to Sara and April and they sorted things out and compensated me fairly for the mishaps. Even though it was a mix up from everyone we were able to solve the issue rarely what companies do now a-days. They are my go to supplier.

Every item came in one order and was at my home 2 days after the order. That is great as my items were shipped by freight. I was shocked they arrived so quickly. Bought refractory panels which were delivered on time and in factory condition. Installation was a snap for someone with basic construction skills. Carefully followed all the conditioning precautions by burning no less than ten small, 20 minute fires. We never had an opportunity to have a regular fire because the rear panel cracked. We live in sunny Southern California so temperature extremes are not an issue. Although the manufacturer initially denied my claim, efireplace did send a replacement unit very soon thereafter. This is a do it yourself project that can save you big bucks with only minimal skills.
Even though I had not the best experience with tech support, the company initially charged me a restocking fee on a return. After some harsh communication on my part, the company refunded me the restocking fee. I appreciated the fact that they listened to my concern and acted responsibly.

From the information at my disposal, it appears our technician originally sold you the correct remote based on the information he was given. Again, from my end, it appears that we weren't aware that your unit had been misidentified until you received your remote and attempted installation.
We completely understand this scenario. Manufacturers love to list multiple model numbers on their literature and it can sometimes be difficult to discern exactly which unit you have (especially if it's been a while since it was installed).
