Brett Wilson was outstanding in assisting with the purchase of a Majestic Quartz gas fireplace. From my initial contact with him, adding accessories, selection of all the flue parts, and answering all my installation questions. Brett was knowledgeable about all aspects of the selection and installation process. It was a pleasure to have him available for all my questions.
Ordered gas log set on 11/12. Salesperson said they were in stock and would ship the same day. Called today to get status of order. I was told it will be 8 weeks before they would get a shipment. Went to their website and they are still showing the same gas log set as being in stock. It's obvious they are taking orders for items that are advertised as "in stock" when in fact they are not in stock. Cancelled the order. Don't believe a word they say.
I received gas logs and no remote. I paid a plumber to set them up when I was out of town, and I found out I did not receive a remote, after they were installed. After weeks of sending pictures of the boxes, the logs etc, several times, I was told the logs I received were the wrong logs and not compatible for a remote. They even tried to blame my plumber, for installing the wrong logs, when he did not know what I had ordered or that a remote was supposed to be included. Over a month later, And me repeatedly calling them, And them repeatedly not calling me back as promised, I finally agreed on keeping the logs with a small credit. However, the credit was for the logs only. I'm anxious to see if the refund is on my credit card statement. Very disappointed after spending almost 1500. 00
Tip for consumers:
It would be great to know the ID numbers in the boxes in advance, so I would have known they sent the wrong logs. Before I had the plumber install them.

I initially received an inferior, poorly made set of folding fireplace doors. I was asked for a couple of photos showing the issues and in three days a new set of flawless doors arrived at my house. Can't ask for more than that.
Ordering anything over the internet always creates a tinge of uncertainty. My experience with eFireplaceStore however was exceptional. First, the logs arrived within a week of ordering but unfortunately, one of the well-packed logs was broken. I called eFireplaceStore not knowing what to expect and within 24 hours a replacement log was sent to my house. That's good service and a product guarantee. Nice job!
Was looking for a fireplace. Spoke to both Will & Nevins and both of them are EXTREMELY knowledgeable and well versed in everything I was asking about. There was not a single question that they did not know the answer to and have a personal opinion on. I had a long list of questions and spent over an hour picking both of their brains before I made my decision about which item was right for me and I know that with their knowledge I picked the best one I could have selected. Their prices were also fantastic and the people who I spoke with in customer service were also smart, efficient and fantastic. In a day and age when so much is farmed out to other countries and people are just reading facts from a screen its incredibly refreshing to find a company where you can tell everyone is passionate about what they do. Cant say enough good here; definitely the place to go. OH! And it was supposed to come a week later and it came like 2 days later; so shipping was fast too.
I had purchased an 18 year old Majestic vent free never installed gas fireplace. I installed it in November along with a blower kit but no thermostat but I decided to simplify things and get one. I went on eFirePlace.com which had numerous ones to choose from and I definitely picked a great one. So simple to install with two mounting options. It had a great price and came within 3 to 4 days regular shipping and they sent me an email with a site to get installation instructions the next day after I had ordered it. I ordered fireplace tools and received a fireplace hearth rug. The numbers of the items were similar but there was a huge weight difference (shouldnt have happened). They had me file a claim with photos and I received the tool set a few days later. I had to return the rug via UPS which was a hassle as I live in a rural area not near UPS. The tool set also had an imperfection on it but I kept it rather than deal with another return or exchange. Price was the best by far. Too bad order experience was flawed.
I found the same fireplace doors that I'd been waiting for the local chimney sweep to order since Christmas on efireplacestore.com. I ordered them on Saturday and they arrived the following Tuesday. I installed them within a few minutes of them arriving!
From ordering to delivery, everything went great. Everything that was laid out in writing when I ordered was followed to a T. I received an email saying my order was shipping a few days sooner then expected. The next I received a call from the carrier and was able to schedule a delivery time. A couple of months ago I purchased a fireplace screen from them. I never received it and eventually when it dawned on me that I had not received it, I contacted them. They immediately returned my email with tracking information. When I tracked the package, they were indeed correct, and it said that the package had been left at the front door. I contacted them again to say that indeed, I see that it indicates the package was delivered, however I assume it was taken from my doorstep. I contacted them back and they immediately shipped me a new one that arrived in todays. I was so impressed with their trust of the customer, in this case me. I live in Beverly Hills and flip homes for a living. Moving forward, I will continue to give them business for all the homes I work on moving forward. I was so extremely impressed. It is not often you find a company with such an amazing customer service.
Your agent gent knew his product and did not have to rely on the computer description. We also discussed alternate solutions to my fireplace pilot light blowing out by the wind. After adding a 3' section of vent pipe to the roof I also made a 1" bigger wind guard for the pilot light which corrected the problem.

We needed a new efficient wood burning stove insert and found the one we wanted on your website. We did our research and your store seemed the most reliable. Love our new stove. A fireplace grate was on backorder and and could not find the style I needed any place else. I thought after 6 months it was discontinued. I gave up on it and about 2 months later I got a call from Kathy, she held on to my request and informed me they were in stock again, so I ordered one. Fast delivery!
I called on Thursday with questions, they took my number and a tech called me back shortly when he was free from another customer. All my questions were answered and I placed my order. That afternoon I received email conformation for the transaction and another email that it had shipped. The next day at lunch time FEDEX freight calls me to set up a pick-up time for Monday. Fireplace and pipe arrived Monday undamaged. I was completely impressed with how quickly I received my order. This fireplace is being installed in a new house we are building and I will order from efireplace again when I need a fireplace.
Website was quite informative. I actually called in to place my order. They were professional, knowledgeable, and I was kept updated on the order arrival via email. Package arives no problems, awaiting installation in wall by my contractor.

Contacted Kathy at eFireplace about the Osburn 36 wood burning insert. Was immediately issued a priced proposal with 30 day validity. After comparison shopping other brands and models we elected to proceed with eFireplace. Order placed and unit received in less than 2 weeks!
Its awful! There is no assistance with any installation issues, but most importantly if there is problem with your unit you have to go with a 3rd party company. The first one couldn't find the part that was missing off my brand new fireplace because their numbers were different from fireplace and now I have been waiting for 5 weeks for a special toggle switch. Its like a bad Friday night live skit.
I ordered a $1400. 00 fireplace log set made by Real Fire G46-30-11p. The delivery went fine but that was it. I have installed many log sets. This set in particular was tough from the beginning. I can't blame the fireplace store for this. It was what followed that I am giving them the rating. It took five phone calls to the technical department. Four times I was disconnected after waiting on the live for a total of almost 2 hours. When I finally got through Brennan could not help but promised he would contact the factory and get back to me. He never did. On the sixth call to the seller I was told there was no Brennan.

We've researched this events on this customer's order and, while we did recommend the customer contact the manufacturer directly for escalated installation assistance, we never would have recommended they resort to a third party company for parts. The exact opposite is the case - we have a claims department standing by ready to file claims with the manufacturer for no charge replacement parts. It appears that our attempt to save the customer and their installer time by referring them to the manufacturer's tech department set them on a path of greatest resistance. While we are too late to intervene and assist with the parts needed. We are certainly happy to reimburse the customer for these parts they should have never had to buy. We simply ask the customer provide us with a receipt for the items purchased. The customer can supply this at their convenience by emailing info@efireplacestore.com.
