From my initial contact with him, adding accessories, selection of all the flue parts, and answering all my installation questions. Brett was knowledgeable about all aspects of the selection and installation process. It was a pleasure to have him available for all my questions.
Ordered gas log set on 11/12. Salesperson said they were in stock and would ship the same day. Called today to get status of order. I was told it will be 8 weeks before they would get a shipment. Went to their website and they are still showing the same gas log set as being in stock. It's obvious they are taking orders for items that are advertised as "in stock" when in fact they are not in stock. Cancelled the order. Don't believe a word they say.
I ordered a 4-inch fireplace key and was sent a standard 3-inch key. The description was false and the price was $10 plus an exorbitant $15 to ship. I thought I was getting an unusual size. Instead I received an item that was $6 at a hardware store. All attempts to rectify the situation were denied. Item was donated to charity. BEWARE!
Shipment of product and advice on what to buy was good. But when I received the product and called about the placement of the gas line as gas source was on left side and gas line on right side. I was told that most are made with gas connection on right side and I need to route a longer flexible gas line to the right side. I hired a plumber and the plumber took one look and reversed the gas connection so it can be hooked up to the left side. How could their tech guy not know this very basic fact.
Purchased the fireplace as a gift for my daughter and her husband. They have a new patio and deck and I thought the fireplace would be a great addition. I was right. They love it. The product is everything the company said it would be and the service was great. Very timely shipping. I would certainly recommend this company.

Fireplace arrived quick and no apparent damage. Will not install for another month. I like it so well that I will be ordering another one and the chimney once I have final measurements for the location it will be installed.
I received the hood. There is something wrong. It appears to be made back-wards. Screws and mounting instructions were enclosed. There were no holes for the screws and the Lintel mounting instructions did not seem to fit this particular hood.

I asked a question about it online and received an answer within a couple days. I ordered it and received it faster than expected. I was packed well.
I easily put it in my Heatilator direct vent fireplace. The back of the fireplace is 15 inches. The fire back I ordered is listed as 18' but the back is 16 1/2". This worked fine since it kept the back from going right up against the back of the fireplace which is good since at the bottom of the back of the fireplace there is what I assume to be an air intake opening. It reflects the flames very nicely which is what I got it for. The front of my fireplace is enclosed in glass so it not going to direct more heat out. I, ve used it about a month and a half for and hour or two each day. It still looks like it did the day I put it in. I get it again in a second.
My wife and I recently purchased a fireplace insert and chimney lining supplies (she purchased the fireplace she wanted, I went back and purchased the installation supplies) and despite an error I am still giving them 5 stars! The fireplace arrived quickly and everything was perfect. When I received the installation supplies - the wrong parts were sent. When I contacted customer services my call was answered quickly, I was given simple instructions to correct the issue and was sent the correct parts the following day. The correct parts were FedEx delivered on a Sunday! Great products, Great Service! I will definitely use this company again in the future.

This I think they should have known. I in turn had to order it a week later and pay shipping again when it could if been included on the original pallet.

I had missed that they were giving a $50 credit apparently due to the holidays but when I emailed customer service, they issued me the $50 credit which was nice of them. Also had quick shipping. Very happy with purchase.
I requested the price and availability of a firescreen. It was followed up with an email quote. The next day I received a followup phone call if I had any questions. This is extraordinary in this day and age.
Every thing involved from ordering to instalation to the use of our fireplace has been positive. The only problem is the screen which needs a better way of staying closed, we had to purchase another screen to insure safety.

I called to get specific info to match a Empire furnace damaged on a Fish house Wheel house due to an accident in transit. I needed to match all ducting and venting to safely replace what I had installed as a pkg. The Technician helped via a call back after he investigated all necessary adaptations and performance issues to get an acceptable match. The Tech also shared where the info was located in my original Empire guide and shared the part numbers and placed the order for me. The order arrive and was installed and was a success to get my fish house back on the Lake before the season ended. Appreciate the expert help to match and keep safety first attitude for a successful install.
This was a first time purchase at the eFireplace Store. I had been shopping for a set of fireplace tools, for a Christmas gift. The person who answered the phone was knowledgeable, courteous and gave me a prompt delivery date-not to mention a better price, for a quality set of tools!
I ordered an item in the evening and found out it was the wrong thing, So I contacted the company in the morning after checking to see if the shipment was picked, which is was not. I asked them to stop the shipment and cancel order but they continue to ship and it was shipped to the wrong address. So I had to go to bbb and also argue with their non customer service they have.

I put in a concise review and the SITEJABBER rejected it because it was less than 50 characters. The experience with e-fireplace was great, but the idea that a communication cannot be meaningful unless it exceeds 49 characters is insulting and offensive. I don't expect this to be published, but I hope that the person screening these comments doesn't just ignore my frustration and change comes from the investment of my time to communicate honestly with you.
We ordered a ventless fireplace with ceramic logs and ceramic liner. I opened the fireplace box once the driver dropped it off and it was fine, exterior cardboard box not damaged. The problem came when the installer opened the undamaged box for the refractory panel liner and 2 of the 3 panels were broken in half. Packaging insufficient for fragile inserts. Since we were doing an addition, it was 4 weeks since we purchased the unit. Upon sending the photos and filing a claim, they said since we didn't open we can't prove it was broken in transit and since it wasn't noted on the shipping label, they would do nothing but offer an apology. Paid $350 for broken panels. Unless you are going to make sure the driver (who wants to leave) stays the 20 minutes it takes to open every box and inspect, don't waste your time.

I order triple wall pipe from them for my wood stove only to find out it was the wrong sizes. The one pace of pipe had a dent in the side and the middle was a little pushed in. Not thinking anything of it after all i am a single mom putting in wood stove pipe is new to me. Well anyway they sent me the wrong size pipe so spent the $60 to shipped it all back a. A week later then they send me a email saying the one pipe was damged and i would have to eat the money i paid for the pipe and the $60 and the $40 i had to pay back for them to ship it to me. Or i could pay for shipping again to have the pipe sent back to me. I cant understand how this company is still around. I will never refer them to anyone.
