Real reviews had two telephone numbers but no first meets hence its a fail the matches were too far away and many were fake accounts.

Highly educated, successful, or professional. Don't waste time or money. No customer service! Scams and junk Galore. Zero is too high
I can easily show how to identify a fake dating site - without spending a PENNY
( 1) Create a very basic Profile - as little as you can get away with ( 2) no photo
( 3) just a little few words in ' about you ' like looking for fun / love etc
- create free account ( don't pay for membership!) - now do NOTHING
If you start to get inundated with ' hot ' messages or views - within a day ( or usually an hour)
Then alarm bells should ring -
I joined this site - didn't create a great deal in my free account - and was given several messages within
A few hours - I did some detective work - and in East Scotland on the Profile - there was a Lady Minister -
Who was supposedly ' looking for love ' - found her online - and guess what - married in early 2020 ( this is April 2021) - if she had created the account - ( a) she would have deleted it by now ( b) she would NOT have used her Church of Scotland profile next to a Church Door in a press release
I took the hint from the very few reviews and swiftly deleted my account =
Want love - Try Tinder, PoF or Match.com
I rarely would take the time to ever write such a negative review. However, it is imperative that users are aware and forewarned as investing time and money into dating apps is a commitment especially when there are so many options. To preface this, I have previously used match and met multiple interesting, honest, and well intentioned people and successfully also found someone with whom I was in a relationship for quite some time. Recently, after being single again, I foolishly decided to give this platform a try. In the last six months, I have also been on Bumble and met several promising and, more importantly, REAL people. Literally, every single person I have met on Elite Singles has been a fraud or a fake. I literally have not met one actual person in six months. Every single person has been seemingly very attractive and very eager to get in touch, but then will only get in touch through WhatsApp, and never through their direct cell phone. Furthermore, they will immediately start asking questions about work, and within a few days, their profile picture seems to change completely, often from an attractive woman to some random male. That is usually followed by a warning email from Elite Singles about possible fraudulent activity and not to maintain contact with that person. Literally every single interaction I have had on that website is followed by a security warning. I had no such problems on match or bumble but I can't even say it's happened once in a while on this platform. It is literally 100% of every interaction I've had. They all seem to be European and involved in some kind of scam and the company I believe is based in Europe as well as every single one if it's fake members claims to be a recent immigrant from Europe, and then proceeds to ask personal questions through WhatsApp, only followed by profile picture changes as mentioned above. It is almost impossible to get through to the company to request a refund, and it was a complete rip off, complete waste of my time, exploitation of my money, and repeated security warnings every single time. Truly needs to be investigated and I believe the entire company is completely fraudulent.
Been there a while, just to watch the scammers. It's nuts. Terrible site. Don't spend any money there guys.
I find this dating site very disappointing as most matches do not have photos available and photos are key.
I bought a 6 month membership and in that time the site "matched" me with hundreds of members, however, the majority had nothing to do with my preferences. In spite of setting up the preferences I chose, my experience was that that it seemed the site just claimed every member to be a match of some varying degree.
Not only are you emailed and notified about unsuitable matches, but all matches appear in one long thread. Not 30 per page, etc. No, they are displayed in one never ending scroll. There is really no way to shift through them with any efficiency. There is no way to categorize "maybe's" to refer back to later. Your only choices are to "favorite" someone (which they will see on their end). Which I fell is premature if you are starting out with 400 people and trying to narrow it down (since they don't follow your preferences), or just flat our block those who aren't actually a good fit (which takes several clicks per match and is time consuming). There is no way to scroll down and delete multiple users at a time (like quickly eliminate all those who are 20+ years past your max age range). Also once you scroll past the first 30-50 profiles, the site starts freezing up, you loose your place and have to start over again. No guarantee they will be in the same order when you come back.
I gave 2 stars for poor site design (poor app as well, doesn't sync currently with the website) and HUGE waste of time. I'd rather have a few matches and have them actually REALLY be a match. As you can see in the photo, there are really no filtering options, and even those that are there don't work (photo/no photo).
There need to be more preference categories, and they need to be adhered to, and presences should be private to only yourself, or at least if you are doing a search.
There need to be more filtering criteria, and more ways of sorting/categorizing/deleting or achieving.
It is a waste of time and money as it is now. I wish I could get a refund but of course I had to pay the 6 months as one lump payment up front. Now I know why...
I was on Elite Singles for 3 monthes. My REAL COMPLAINTS ARE MANY 1. They offer you many (what you believe to be AVAILABLE WOMEN WHEN IN FACT THEY ARE NOT). The Reality is they sign up and post their picture FOR FREE. The only thing they can REALISTICALLY DO IS post a SMILE. They cannot write to you if you SMILE BACK and CANNOT RECEIVE YOUR MESSAGES. My experience is that at least 90% of the profiles cannot interact with another UNTIL THEY PAY A HUGE FEE. VERY VERY DISINGENUIOUS ALSO NOTE in my EXPERIENCE THEY ARE A TON OF FRAUDALANT USERS WHO WRITE AND ask FOR YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS. VERY VERY SCAREY PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE AND THEIR SISTER SITE SIL;VER SINGLES.SAME DEAL THERE..
There is nothing elite about this match service. The matches are always off base and the pool of possibilities are limited. Don't waste your money.
I set a 50 mile radius. The majority (90%) of the daily matches are a hundred miles or more from Syracuse NY.
Those who say awful, horrible, waste of money, crap site... are CORRECT. THE WORST place to meet people. They should be shut down. Bunch of thieves.
Elite Singles provides matches for you. You can't go looking. One element they use is a personality profile questionnaire. Not only is that an obnoxious off base semi-psych serious of questions to fill out, NOBODY but nobody ever looks at it. Would you trust a self rating from someone looking for a match on a dating site? Why bother, they all rate themselves as kind, generous, wonderful people anyhow. And PS: everyone there is looking for their "soulmate" but many do not post a photo or even say anything personal about themselves (it's all generic - who can say no to a wish that no one would ever go hungry again?) - MUCH LESS do people here seem to make the effort to actually connect. Using a telephone seems to be a real phobia, never mind arranging to actually meet that soulmate.
They also want photos - really! That seems to be the highest number of submissions bec they can avoid fees. But can a fully paid member filter out those without photos? It would be simple. But Elite Singles does not let you do it. Then when you delete those, they popup asking "why"? Duh. You will spend an inordinate amount of time deleting people without photos one by one. If someone does not want to submit a photo to a dating site, does that not make you wonder anyhow?
Then you are able to specific preferences. But Elite Singles doesn't follow them. So why bother? I live in Boston and asked for a small radius (I also happen to hold an advanced degree) - so why am I getting high school educated truck drivers from Maine? Am I missing my soulmate?
Last, Elite Singles puts "In Review" next to some of your profile information. Do they ever actually review? No, that's a farce. Some of my most innocuous information has been "in review" for six months. So do not believe that Elite Singles is doing anything to verify a single scrap of information posted. You are going to have your frauds and scammers like everywhere.
Now they are sending me the same people I already rejected. Within the first six months, we are into recycle. Does not speak well. I have canceled. There is nothing elite here.
I really don't know where to begin. This site is lousy with scam and scam artists and they don't seem to be able to (or even care to) do anything about it. On the first day this lady (?) sent a message saying she was getting off the site but wanted to introduce me to a friend of hers. I must have seen that at least 20-30 times and the script would hardly change, and you report them and they take them off. In other words they wait for their customers to tell them somethings wrong rather than try to you know be proactive about it and try to catch it before it bothers said customers. Must be a lot cheaper that way! But oh if you try to change anything in your profile, intense scrutiny then. Yeah they're really looking out for folks! The coup de grace so to speak was last night. Someone hacked my account! Yeah the $#*! took down all my pics save one, a nice scenery shot s/he must have liked. But the really fun part this social misfit contacted something like 80-90 women on the site, mostly smiles but some very weak attempts at conversation, WITH MY ACCOUNT! Let that soak in. I was completely gobsmacked that their security could be so f'in lousy! And of course I let them know about it and of course they did nothing. So I began contacting some of the ladies this $#*! contacted telling them it wasn't me that had contacted them but rather said $#*!. And you can probably guess what happened. They kicked ME off because I was giving them bad publicity or something. Just telling the truth and trying to be honest, something the people who run this site know little or nothing about! Please take my advice, DON'T GO THERE
Total waste of time and money, there are a lot of fake profiles on this site.
When I complained about it my inbox went nuts, again all fake profiles!
I joined Elite Singles as I am new to the area and thought it might be a good way to meet new people. I was disappointed with the sections in my area, this has nothing to do with Elite Singles. I was caught off guard with the number of fake listings that were mixed in. They wanted to connect on another company platform after the first Hello. The reason I felt they were fake is because they all use the same verbiage on each response. I canceled my subscription weeks before they next payment was due and received an email it was cancels. I checked my profile, and it reflected cancel and no longer viewable. I had the good sense to edit my profile so personal details and pictures were removed. Much to my surprise Elite Singles charged my account after I did everything correctly to end, remove my profile from active status. I requested several times to receive a credit for the amount not authorized to charge. I did get an email from Elite Singles Berlin, Germany saying they could not find my account and to forward the following to them for review:
*The name on the credit card used
*The last 4 digits of the card
*The amount
*The date the payment was made (as it appears on your bank statement)
*The full payment reason on your statement
*Your Google Play reference number (if applicable)
*The invoice ID or email address linked to your PayPal account if your payment was made via PayPal
*A scanned copy of your bank statement, or a screenshot on which the transaction is clearly visible, would be a great help. You can add it as an attachment to your reply.
*****I guess I can say goodbye to that transaction.
Major red flags. Nobody in their right mind would hand off access to their finances to another country. There is no phone number that I could speak with someone, only email. My advice is beware of Elite Singles and its sister companies. I went into it with an open mind, I'm not surprised it ended the same as another site I used years ago. I would say if you can afford it and are looking to meet someone for a long-term commitment or marriage, reach out to a true matchmaker.
I joined Elite as I'd tried other sites thinking elite would have more quality and real profiles. WRONG
First, they mislead you when you subscribe in comparing prices with say annual... why would a site that is so successful have annual membership? If you're so good at matching people, why would I need to be on this site for a whole year? So, the very fact that they have annual membership is kind of a tell that the service suck, and I missed this hint so please, do not do the same. Then I did not really think twice and clicked on the cheapest option. This is the annual membership and they charge a whole year, not monthly charge "guaranteed" for 12 months. Try to get your money back and you find that the prerequisite to work there is to be an $#*!. Then you may be playful and keep the subscription and there is NO ELITE on that site... in fact, I don't know what's elite at all. It's misrepresentation. A few clients perhaps are, but definitely not the service for sure. Matching is a concept they don't understand (other than perhaps smoker status). If you know what you want or don't want, you'll be sure to find absolutely no way to filter this. You want (or don't want) kids, you cannot filter automatically who has the same goal as you on that. It filters NOTHING for you and so it matches you with everybody... My point is it's not elite, it's not even single in some cases, it's not easy to communicate with others on this platform, it's expensive and it has the look of an insurance company's website... it's not a fun experience and please do not make my mistake, move on to another service instead of wasting your time and money on this site... Btw, I selected a star because I have to... I'd select none if I could. At least the definition of 1 star is "Doesn't get any worse than this. Stay away!" and that summarizes well enough the experience.
You will spend a lot of time giving them data and before you can even check out the site you have to pay
Answer: I've used E-harmony and many other American sites, I was disappointed and frustrated over a huge amount of scammers and a miserable amount of real profiles. European sites like https://j4l.com/402007 Are so much better! They ferret out scammers and there are no fake profiles. Ladies are much more high-end, calssy and sociable. It's a paradise compared to E-harmony!
Answer: I wish I could help you. I've been using the contact feature on their website and I have had a few responses (template style emails) but am not getting what I want---a refund. Elite singles HQ is in Germany. I feel like I am peeing into the wind with them but we have to keep trying! Infuriating, isn't it?
