We run a bed and breakfast in Florida, and we decided to expand our business by catering to couples who want to have simple or "elopement" type weddings. Basically destination weddings but not a lot of guests or a big wedding party, etc. We started to advertise on some of the bigger wedding vendor focused websites out there - won't name them here but they are WAY expensive and require you to lock in to a one-year contract. We found Elopement.co is very different. Yeah, it's much smaller, but it targets the kind of couples we're looking to cater to. The site is dirt cheap, like a tiny fraction of what the big sites charge. Anyway we have a listing on the site and get one or two calls a month because of it. They let you post a link to your website too. We probably have received some web traffic from Elopement that we don't know about. It's so inexpensive to use that we really don't worry too much about what it sends us. We for sure booked at least one wedding at our b&b thanks to the site so it paid for itself many times over in a couple of weeks' time. If you're a wedding photog, minister or run a small b&b like us it's worth checking out.
