I have bought the one year subscription.
I have looked up many different e-mail addresses. Almost always I was getting this "beautiful message": "No results found. We apologize for the inconvenience, but after extensive searching the owner's name for (e-mail address) could not be identified."
Even worse, they are giving WRONG information. Looking up several different e-mail addresses I was getting the result: "Facebook: Not a member", but when I was checking up myself on Facebook, I could find Facebook accounts?!?$#@?!?
It looks like an internet scam to me!
This site is awful. I would go to search an email and it never came up as the correct address or it would show "no results".
Furthermore, I signed up for a 3 month prescription in 2012 thinking that I would try using it. I thought that it would end after the 3 months, and come to find out almost 3 years later I noticed I was still getting charged $14.99 for this terrible service.
When I asked for my refund, since I only signed up for a 3 month trial, they informed me that I wouldn't be able to get one since it was in "fine print".
$600 dollars later, with very very limited use... This is Fraud!
This "service" is simply a scam. They promote a "one time" email result - but it is only a way to get your billing information so they can charge you for a years membership. And then they use extortion to cancel your account so they won't steal your money every year for ever - you have to agree to let them keep all the money they have stolen out of your account before you caught them.
These folks should be in jail.
This site is useless! They promote that the service is for one year. Then they bill you for the first use and after seven days they bill you again for the first year. This is a scam and should be investigated by the Justice Department!
I tried to set up a gmail account for my son and was agressively directed to what I thought was an annual fee of $1.95 for a one year to get a gmail account. It turned out I checked the $1.95 box and was immediately congratulated for signing on to a $23.00 ongoing fee for membership to emailfinder.com. I immediately notified them that I was not interested in their product and stated that I had not intentionally purchased their services. I stated that I checked was for $1.95 not $23.00 that I was charged by emailfinder.com. I received a notice back that my account would not be reimbursed, but they would discontinue any future charges. This is a "gotcha" that is deceptive and simply stealing from individuals. My mistake should not be money in the pocket for emailfinder.com. It is dishonest and an act of mini fraud. Brenda
