My rental car service i gotten from the enterprise in douglasville ga on fairburn rd was immaculate! The car was pristine and my kids loved it...the manager and team was excellent and i will be a forever customer of enterprise...thank yall for a great experience
I recently helped family members move to a town almost 400 miles away. I reserved a car to return home as I drove the moving van to the new town. When I tried to pick up my car I was told that the town I live in does not accept one way vehicles and had to scramble to find another way home. This information should have been made clear upon making the reservation online.
I received so many different responses from the employees. I was promised the fact that I would have no problems getting a car with a navigation system since the cars are new. When I arrived for the pickup, I was told that their cars do not have navigation systems because they don't purchase top of the line cars. I was given a quickie instruction class with little info. Then I put the car key in my pocket, not realizing that it fell out onto the car seat. I locked the car and there was no bell, whistle or warning. Bottom line, I had to get a locksmith. When I complained about it the employee said they would alert customers from no on. A little late for me. Then I was told that I could park the car after five in their lot for free. When I called on the day I was driving home they told me that they changed the rule because of Covid and that I would not be able to park the car in the garage.
I received so much misinformation from employees. It was a trying experience, so bad that I would not use them again.
The staff ended up very nice. They have quite a bit of stress and are understaffed, however they ended up providing great service. I like Brian and Cindy. They were professional and courteous.

Cars that were not safe, or properly cleaned. If a customer
Returned a car first thing the next morning, they were charged
For that day - against stated corporate policy. Then the car
Could be rented again, and earn money twice in one day, all so
The manager could have a free car. I was fired when, after 6 months,
I was out sick for one day. I asked for my, according to company policy,
Sick day, and on a subsequent call, told to take a hike.
Bad company to work for, they went by three other names at the time.
Guess they were trying to hide their nastiness.

Enterprise has an interesting sell. They will pick you up so you can come to their offices. That works if all else works. In this case, I confirmed to be picked up at 5:15. Gave the address. 5:15 rolls around and no Enterprise so I call and find out they will be 30 minutes late. Issue? Well I was outside on the sidewalk after an office meeting (office closed) and had no interest in standing on the sidewalk of a busy street for 30 minutes so told then to meet me some where else. I wait there and the time rolls around so I eventually call. Get voicemail they are closed for the day! They call me back even though I could not reach them and tell me they messed up and did not realize the 2nd location was out of their pickup range in town. I said so what now? They said we can pick you up next morning. So they neglected to call as requested to give an eta and that in fact they were running more than 30 minutes late. Then when they are supposed to show up a 2nd time, they don't call as well. Their offices closed so I had no way of how to reach them ( no virtual or real helpers in line). They called me and told me the location was in a diff part of town.
Rented a Car on expedia, best price and model for the trip. They never delivered the car, gave it away. I was 2 hrs late on the pick up, never gave a solution. I will never rent with them again.

I have rented several times from Enterprise and have always been satisfied with the car and service BUT, I tried to reserve a car online and it kept kicking me off telling me to contact customer service on the phone.
I have had a terrible experience with Enterprise. After I returned my rental car I was charged an additional $89.00 with no explanation as to why. In addition, I never received my $100 deposit back even though I returned the rental car in the same condition as when I received it. When I asked for a rental car I asked for a sedan, however the Enterprise employee told me they would give me something comparable to my car so they gave me a Nissan Rogue. The employee told me she would work out the insurance adjustment on her end but that I would NOT be charged the additional rates. That was NOT the case. It's been two months and I have been getting the run around. I have not received my deposit back and they charged an additional fee because insurance would not adjust the rate. On my signed receipt it states "USAA will pay 100%". Yet two months later I am still trying to get my money back. I would not recommend Enterprise as they will charge you fees as they see fit without your acknowledgement or approval.
We were in an accident on Thursday afternoon. My insurance company, USAA, has a contract and you must go through enterprise rental. I tried to call the Enterprise Rental Car location on South Lumpkin rd Columbus GA *******896, in order to verify that they physically had a rental vehicle for me there underneath my reservation number. The reason I have tried calling them directly, was because of the past experiences with that location. I have had that location tell me before that they have a vehicle ready for and when I got there, nothing was available.
The first two times I called, I was hung up on by a female. The third time I called, I was on hold for 37 minutes, so I hung up and called their national number at *******565.
I spoke with the reservation specialist who told me "Sir, there is a Confirmed Reservation and vehicle ready for you there at that location under Reservation Number and it is ready for pick up". He wanted to know what time I would be there. I told him I would be there around 2 o'clock.
I showed up at that location at 1:45, before 2 o'clock, and was told by the only female in the office that they do not have a vehicle there underneath my reservation number and won't have one until Monday.
I called the national number back and requested to speak to someone in their command group. I was told somebody would call me back within the hour.
Today is Tuesday, and I am still waiting.

I went to rent a car walked in the door set for 45 minutes no one was in the office I could have taken everything out of the building this happened at Sherwood Arkansas.
What a saga this has been. I reserved a small to medium van to move myself and my partner from Aberdeen to London. Evening before pickup I get a call from Enterprise saying they don't have any small-medium vans but will try their best to get us a large one.
Not ideal as the van will be half empty and quite large to navigate through central London but what can you do, we were on a strict schedule.
When picking up the van the enterprise agent noted some damage to the vehicle however informed us that damage under the size of a £10 note is not recorded on paper by Enterprise as it is deemed cosmetic on a vehicle of that size. Regardless, we made sure to take photographs of the van as it was picked up (these photos have been sent to Enterprise in our attempt to reconcile with them).
A week after dropping the van off in London I received an email from Enterprise saying the van had sustained damage during our rental period and we would be charged £250 for repairs. Upon inspection of the damage report, it was obvious that the damage claimed to have been sustained during our rental period was in fact already present on the vehicle when we picked it up from the Aberdeen location.
Noting this, I emailed the agent in Aberdeen stating that this damage was already present and provided the photos we took when pickup up.
I have since had several unsuccessful communications with Enterprise. They do not care about anything I have to say and repeatedly send the same responses over and over.
I finally managed to get the charges reverse by my bank however today (11 months after this began) have had an email from a debt collection agency. I now see the only way out of this is small claims court.
Never will deal with Enterprise or their sister companies (Alamo and National) again and I strongly recommend others stay away.
Hi there, be careful when renting a car online from the Enterprise rent-a-car (ATESA / Enterprise); the offer was cheap and duly paid for (in full); as I arrived a little late because of the delayed train, the office was closed and after calling by phone for almost an hour, they did not have the service to send somebody down with the car (although they have a person 24/7 available in town). So, there I was, with my family on the doorstep of the Enterprise office at the Gerona railway station, on my way to Porqueres that cannot be reached by public transport... Luckily, competitor Sixt saved my weekend, although at a very high cost; but still: muchas gracias Sixt!
Poor customer service from start to finish. The agent didn't give me pricing options, was too busy talking about his back pain and wanting to hurry up with my sale to go this his appointment. I was never given options to choose from. He picked the most expensive vehicle on the lot and never told of any others that were available. He also never told me he was storing my card on file or even if it was ok with me. The company kept swiping my card even after I asked them to notify first, which they did not. I asked them to put the payment on a different card, as the repairs on mine were taking longer than expected but they kept running the card I asked them not to and never notified my of expenses or what I was paying for. They claimed I would get my deposit back in the beginning but then told me I owed more money and they were swiping ny card again even though I had paid up through my return date the day before. I was finally told after a long discussion that I would receive my deposit back to my credit card within 24hrs but still have not received it. Horrible experience. None of the agents communicated or noted my account through the process. I absolutely will never recommend this company to anyone else. Overpriced and not worth the awful experience. It was an argument almost every time and I was told that I had misprinted at one point by another agent. Still didn't receive money back or credit to my account. Save yourself the trouble. Find a better company.
I rented a vehicle to go to my son's funeral returned the vehicle about 7:00 a.m. in the morning there was one employee outside who had a pad and pen he entered the vehicle to check the mileage and check out the vehicle and I told him that the vehicle needed an alignment he was the first employee in the vehicle when I got home I noticed I left my son's obituary above the visor and the change bag which had about 20 to $30 in it in the glove department and I know I left this bag in the department on my life my my son's grave my grandma's grave my mother's grave I know for a fact 100% that the bag was in the glove department I told the manager about this he said he will investigate and check out the cameras but little do you know people can still stuff out of it vehicles without being seen on camera and if they find something in a vehicle of interest to them they can easily put it in your pocket or put it on them and then step out the vehicle and you won't be seen on camera but this is what the manager said that he had no evidence of nobody taken a bag on camera it's a shame that an employee was still a bag of change with 20 to $30 of quarters in it and nothing was done they returned my son's obituary but not the gray bag this is bad to have an employee working for you that would still like this from customers so I advise everybody make sure you check your vehicle out thoroughly before you leave the property or you'll never see it your items again
I had a courtesy car from here i asked for a small car got a honda civic they told me that's the smallest they do then when i had to return the i was given 5 HOURS TO RETURN IT or they would charge me for it never again i would rather walk
I had a confirmation number and the day I was supposed to get the car they told me there was no car available. So last minute I had to scramble around to make my commitment
I rented from the Bronx Morris Park Enterprise in NYC on April 3,2023 and I have to say Deshawn was GREAT! He provided excellent customer service. I always go to this location and DeShawn and Marcus are fantastic!

If you are thinking of renting a car from enterprise do not if you have any problem with your rental your stuck with it they will not let you trade it they tell you o well it's your problem I called and called they told me if I don't want it drop it off and you will not be credited I rented it for one week and called them 2 hours after I rent it the car I wish I had read the reviews first do not rent from this place
I was involved in an accident. The insurance company set up a rental at the Southern Pines, NC branch. Enterprise sent me a "Priority" Pass which I promptly filled out. I dropped off my car at the body shop and got a ride to work. When I called Enterprise for a pick up, which is LITERALLY across the street from this branch, I was told that they did not have any cars available and the cars that they did have were getting oil changes. Apparently all at the same time. I had to call another friend and get her to leave work to take me home. When I called Enterprise later that afternoon I was told that they did not have a car for me because they were all rented out and that they have a shortage of cars due to Covid... I guess cars get sick. When I reminded them that I'd had a reservation for a week, they told me that doesn't mean that I am guaranteed to get a car. Not sure what Enterprise thinks the word reservation means. When I passed by the Enterprise on my way to work the next morning, EVERY slot in front of their building had a vehicle in it...
They would get no stars if I could. I will never be renting from Enterprise again. I got a rental car on January 28th, looked it over nothing looked out of place. The next day after only driving it to work and home I noticed a scratch on the car and a plastic piece behind the tire was cracked. I proceeded to call them to see if the damage was already reported, it was not so I went to work to watch the camera to see if maybe it happened in the parking lot and was not told about it, the cameras came back fine and it was not here. I notified them of this and they let me know that I would have to pay my $500 deductible so that they could fix the damage. IF this was me that did the damage I would 100% pay for it, but it was not and many people looked over it that are mechanics and have told me there is no way that this was fresh. I've spoken to the store and I've spoken to corporate with nothing resolved or not even a return phone call except to ask me when I would be returning the car. StateFarm who recommended them to me is aware, and not happy about the situation and I even talked to the people who are working on my car and they also agree with me. At this point, I will be letting everyone know how unhappy I am with the customer service.
I made a reservation for a suv two months before I needed it and Enterprise called 2 days before to tell me That they do not carry premium Suvs in franklin va area and that we were out of luck. No sorry or nothing. So we call the call center to see if they can help and seem like they could but we heard nothing from them. It will seem like Enterprise would care especially if I call 2 months ahead of time, u dnt kno what your customers have plan. I WAS Really DISAPPOINTED. You really put us in a Bind and it seem like you ddnt care at all.
Extremely Bad Service & Treatment
I was working through USAA for a rental car while my vehicle was being repaired. The (very) young male that was setting up the appointment was sounding 'frustrated and put-out' that he was having to take some extra steps in setting things up. When he asked for a copy of my DL, I presented a printed, certified, Temporary Dl provided by the State while the actual 'Hard-card' was being mailed to me (due to Covid backlog). He stated he would not accept that. I pointed out that right on the form it states that it is a Legal and Valid Drivers License and ID. He would not accept the form and stated "I dont have to do anything". I explained that was all I had and asked to speak with a manager or Supervisor. He said to call back when I get a DL, and ended the call.
Now fast forward 3 months and I have been 'Blacklisted' by Enterprise because this kid put in my 'file' that I had "cursed him out and called him names". That absolutely did not happen. Not even close. This is pure vindictiveness and abuse of his limited authority to administer retribution for some Perceived annoyance.

DO NOT rent your car from Enterprise EVEN if your life depended on it! They truly don't care about customers at all! All they care about is the money! They abruptly raised my daily car rate after telling me that I would keep the same rate the entire car rental! Which then forced me and my 2 little kids to be carless, it was a disaster! But thanks to AVIS CAR RENTAL they saved the day! Enterprise has a horrendous customer CARE team; I've been waiting to hear back from them for weeks and have yet to hear back! I consistently called every week to get help they just blew me off and told me someone would get back to me soon! They didn't care about my concerns at all. The car I rented was in extremely poor condition, several dents and scratches all over it and the staff did not care one bit! The Area and Group managers are worthless and no help! Please for your sanity avoid Enterprise at all costs especially the Mattoon Illinois location they are a complete rip off and their customer service is absolutely the worst! I would never rent from enterprise again and would advise others to stay far away! Thank me later!
