My rental car service i gotten from the enterprise in douglasville ga on fairburn rd was immaculate! The car was pristine and my kids loved it...the manager and team was excellent and i will be a forever customer of enterprise...thank yall for a great experience
I recently helped family members move to a town almost 400 miles away. I reserved a car to return home as I drove the moving van to the new town. When I tried to pick up my car I was told that the town I live in does not accept one way vehicles and had to scramble to find another way home. This information should have been made clear upon making the reservation online.
I placed an order for a Luxury SUV to carry 6 people and luggage 3 1/2 weeks before I needed it. Two days before the date that I was to pick up the rental, the local office called me to confirm my order and that it would be Luxury SUV. The day that I was to pick up the rental, I received a phone call 2 hours prior to pick up that they could not find a Luxury SUV and all they had was a mini-van! On short notice I could not chase a Luxury SUV with any other vendor. I had the mini-van dumped on me. Upon picking up the mini van, the windows were absolutely FILTHY both inside and out. I had to was them 3 times - MYSELF. In addition to the mess with the windows. Two of the tires were so low that the dash low tire warning light was lit. TOTAL UNACCEPETABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - I WILL NEVER RENT FROM ENTERPRISE AGAIN!
Tip for consumers:
DO NOT RENT FROM ENTERPRISE
I am a "frequent" Enterprise Rental customer. I've never had an issue with Enterprise in Georgia where I reside. Howevr, I just recently flew out to Texas (Dallas Lovefield Airport) location & also received great service until returning the vehicle. I 4got my eyeglasses in the vehicle & it has literally been impossible to contact the front desk. I've followed up with all instructions & directions given online by "lost and found" dept. I have not received 1 call nor email in response. Whenever I call I'm always getting a recorder or transferred to another recorder. I finally spoke to someone from call center that took my information. She stated that I would be getting a call from the location to confirm my address. This all took place the same day I landed in Atlanta. As of today I still haven't heard anything from Enterprise. I'm highly upset & disappointed.
(White Toyota corolla) rented from Friday to Monday am b4 10am. Ian was a great guy who rented me the car, so this complaint does not reflect his services rendered at all.

Contemptible weasels. I rented a car through the Oneonta, NY, location. Chris, the branch manager, was wonderful and did his best to get us a car (a 2020 Toyota Camry) during these difficult rental times. The problem started after I returned the car in Princeton, NJ, the following week. Three days later, I got a phone call from an Enterprise claims investigator claiming there was damage to the driver's side rocker panel. The investigator failed to do her due diligence, claiming I was at fault and ignoring all information to the contrary. Chris, the Onenonta branch manager, even called the claims department to provide evidence the damage was pre-existing. Regardless, I received a bill for $925.06. This time, Chris contacted the Damage Recovery Unit to resolve the situation, making it clear their claim was baseless. After two stressful weeks, I received a letter stating they "made the decision to take care of the damages and costs of this claim" and closed the claim. Their description is clearly corporate speak for "We unfairly accused you, but we will never admit it". No acknowlegement, no apologies. Hey, Enterprise: Next time get your facts straight before you fire off unfounded accusations. You can kiss my rear bumper.
I rented a car in Chamblee GA (Nov 28-29) for a 24 hr period while my car was being repaired. Went shopping, went out to dinner, and returned the car first thing in the morning. The agent took a look at the car and said I had damaged a piece of plastic on the bumper. I responded that I had no knowledge of any damage. He reminded me that I looked at the vehicle before leaving and did not bring it to his attention. I told him that you have to lean over to see the plastic in question, molded into the bumper. It is a reflector. He then told me he could show me pictures of the vehicle that would show the damage was not there when I left. After 45 minutes of waiting, he could not come up with any pictures. He said I would be contacted by Damage Recovery. I told him that since he could not produce any pictures proving the car was intact, I should not be held liable.
I just got email from the Damage Recovery ( Marlo Bergstrom) - Here is their/her response, and I quote "We do not have photos of the vehicle before it was rented out, as that is not part of protocol. This damage was not documented on the initial rental agreement once the walk around is done. The policy and procedure for a rental agreement, is if the rental vehicle has a change of condition while in the renters possession, the renter is found responsible."
I have researched on the web and it seems Enterprise does this often enough to where a search comes up for it. Stay away from Enterprise...you are guilty until proven innocent.

I am 78 yrs old and a retired Mechanical Engineer. I travelled extensively while employed by fortune 100 companies. I have rented cars from every rental company you know and some you never heard of. I have never been treated like this in all these years. I have hi-res photos that will show the damage was old and weathered. I only had the car 24 hrs. Enterprise says they are not interested in my photos or explanation.
I had a vehicle reserved in Appleton, WI for Saturday August 7th, 2021. Because I could not get it when my flight came in on the 6th, because of how late they open. Than on the 6th, I find out my flight back home is cancelled and I have to find a different flight. The only flight I could get was out of Milwaukee, so 113 miles from the Appleton airport. When I went in to get my vehicle I advised that I will have to drop off in Milwaukee instead of Appleton due to a flight cancelling and could not get a flight out of Appleton. First she said they dont do one way rentals, and than she said that you can do it but you will be charges an extra $250. REALY $250 for 113 miles. I had no choice but to pay it as I had 2 days in Appleton yet and I had to get to Milwaukee. I rent vehicles in Arizona and drive them to Las Vegas to catch planes and never get charged. If you ask me, Enterprise is a bunch of crooks. It is not bad enough that I had to pay $711 to get a flight home on a different airline, but Enterprise decided they had to get their part of the money too. I may get a discount through you from my employer, but I would rather pay someone else more than rent a vehicle through you. You just added to an already horrible weekend. I will also never tell my clients to rent through you. And I refer you about 10 times a week. It makes me give you at least one star, but would rather give you no stars.
I really don't know where to begin On October 5th I made a reservation to pick my vehicle up in Hollywood FL location. I left work early in order to be there prior to the closing (6 pm)
Upon arrival with my reservation in hand, I questioned the deposit amount as I was told a different amount than what reservations had given me. I mentioned the same to the Assistant Manager Michael Gonzalez who then stated in a sarcastic manner regarding the deposit. He then looked to his Manager Gino Petit and again stated we have never charged $100.00 deposit, I was made aware of the $200.00 instead. That wasn't an issue however Michael Gonzalez informed me that he wasn't going to rent a car to me and suggested I go somewhere else. I was appalled to say the very least. I spoke to Gino reminind him that he was the Manager and would he rent me a car. He stated I have to work with him tomorrow so I will not be able to rent you the vehicle. By this time I was in tears, I called corporate to complain and now 5 weeks later still wating for a call back from the area Manager. I was finally able to rent a vehicle at another location. THe problems continued. Now they have over $1000 dollars from me with no one even given me the professional courtesy of a call back. I could go on with the other ongoing problems that still exist. Stay clear of this company rent from Avis, Budget or Hertz never Enterprise again.
I recently had a bad experience with a rental at the Enterprise location in Nederland, Texas. The customer rep. Was Celeste. My rental was for a mini van for an important family trip. I booked several days ahead and was confirmed I would receive the van I requested. Celeste called the Friday before my trip at 6pm saying did I really need a van. She could only get a SUV that would seat seven. Not a good response. Never tell the customer what they need. She said she would look in neighboring areas for a van. On Saturday the day of the trip she was still looking and I had to settle for the SUV. Then last minute she said the Beaumont Texas site had a van. I drove to Beaumont to pick it up. The customer rep. In Beaumont had a great attitide got right out and gave us the things we needed. We left happy from that site. Celeste the rep at the Nederland site had a brash attitude not welcoming. My visit could.have been better if your company would have followed through with the promise of accomodating my specific car rental preference. Instead of presenting me with a rental type that I did not request.
Waiting 3 hours for a car outside in the cold. No service just keep waiting. Employees are not helpful.

Rental car
We originally reserved a midsize car for pickup on Monday. When we arrived on Monday, the car we were given was a smallish Kia which my wife could not get into to drive. They said they would not have a midsize car until Wednesday. We reserved a car for Wednesday in Topeka and they were supposed to deliver it to our house at 9:00 AM. Our insurance(AAA) sent us to them. We were told to call them at 9 to confirm the pickup, which made no sense if we were to be picked up at 9. We called on Tuesday and talked to the manager and he said no problem. He would confirm the rental and they will pick us up at 9. Wednesday no driver by 9:20 so we them. The counter person, no we had to call in the day we wanted the car to confirm the pickup. We asked her to check her system because the manager said he had done that Tuesday. So again she said we had to call in the day of the rental, and the manager was not there. She then repeated the "must call at 9" and would not check her system.
Then it got worse. My wife is handicapped and can not get into a small car or a truck, which is why we reserved a Camry. The counter person then told us they did not have a Camry sized car, but did have pickup.
At that point we call Avis. We will do everything we can to never have to deal with Enterprise until they can fix their poor service.

Do not deal with Entripise

None. Went to a competitor.
I found out their policies were a bit "bougish". I didn't find this out until my adult son, had a payment discrepancy with them. However, when I tried to rent a car from them, they told me, my entire household/address had been "black listed" from rentals due to the discrepancy or debts with my adult son, who lived at my address...(Which no longer lives with me). Well, regardless, my rant was... Why? Why did they punish me for an encounter with my adult son?
I'd been nothing but, an A-1 customer with this company. I have totally always regarded my end of the rental deals, and this they know. But I was told due to my son, I was not able to rent a car from them, assumingly until he paid his debt. I was furious, so I decided to confirm this ordeal with their Corporate Office. Far and behold, their Corporate Office vouched that, it was their rules and the associates had abided accordingly.
All the rep. Could do was kindly aplogize to me for my experience, but it is... What it is. How unfair to penalize an entire household of adult members due to one "faulty" individual... Really? It's weird. It feels like some form of discrimination and I don't mean race. I can only be accountable for myself... No related grown ups. For Instance... If I apply for a credit card, my credit is not denied or accepted based on another adult; It's accepted or denied based, specifically on my credibility... Now that's the correct way for a real business to do business with consumers. The guy who made or wrote their company's rule/bylaw should be roasted.
Bait and Switch. Every time with this company! Wanted a full size vehicle, made the reservation FOR A FULL SIZE VEHICLE, gets confirmed FOR A FULL SIZE VEHICLE, show up to the shop and guess what. 'We don't have a full size vehicle available. How about a truck instead?' WTF? First of all a truck is never a suitable replacement for a full size vehicle, secondly I want the car I requested AND YOU CONFIRMED! No problem, we can upgrade you to a full-size luxury SUV for twice as much. Well thanks a lot!
We were hit by one of your rental trucks and after contacting countless departments at your company, no one would take an incident report. I was specifically told by multiple employees to never use the words, "claim or report" or no one in your company would touch it. The person at our local branch openly mocked me because he knows he can get away with it. One person told me you have GPS tracking on all vehicles and he just laughed out loud when I suggested that you might. The local branch rep said, he definitely wasn't going to help me. When I asked about GPS he laughed hysterically and stated, "Go ahead. Call corporate, call claims, call anyone you want. Good luck with that! You track that down! Hahaha! No one is ever going to help you! Hahahaha!" Then, he hung up on me. This is the one person everyone at your company said I had to get a case number from or no one would be able to help me. No one in multiple divisions would start a case so you attempt to look for the person who returns a damaged truck. I understand it's a long shot, but it's what the police told us to do after filing the police report. I was repeatedly told you have ******* trucks on the road and you have no clue where they are. I find that hard to believe. It's clear that you have no system in place for non-customers who want assistance to report a hit-and-run renter. You rent trucks to companies for 2-3 years so they can hit people, cause property damage, and flee the scene of an accident and you will protect them, the criminal! No wonder your renter told us to "f*Ck off" and sped away. After two days of calling and countless Enterprise employees, they basically told us the same thing—to f*Ck off!
I do not recommend them. At first they are very disorganized and the wait is ridiculous. Second, I had an emergency where my car key ran out of battery. I call customer service and they sent me to the airport to get a car. When I got to the airport they couldn't give me another car because they couldn't be picked up the other car at the hotel because it was inside the garage. This is because the truck was unable to climb. They didn't know how to handle the situation, instead of just changing the battery in the key, they tried to force to did a strategies that did not work at that time. In the end I spoke with a supervisor, the supervisor promised to give me a car the next day due to the situation (because I needed the car for work). The next day they never called me in the morning, and due to their poor organization, I was never able to go to work. Not to mention they sent me a Uber (the day of the situation) to pick me up (at the place where they never being able to bring me a car) and after the Uber picked me up they canceled the service (when I was inside the uber) and then they said I was the one who canceled it.

They never bring me a substite of the rent car
I wish I could give negative stars! I rented a car and when I returned it they suddenly noticed a minor dent (scratch-less) on the backdoor. I park my car only at home and office and never got such a bump (for 5 years). I feel that the dent was already there but they forgot to notate it. The car has many similar dents all over the sides. However, they say that it was my fault and that I have to pay for it. I pleaded like crazy but they wouldn't budge. So, helpless, I checked around in a few auto body shops and everyone said that it is not more than a $200-$250 job to get an estimate of what I might be required to pay.
Enterprise got the car fixed at a body shop of their choosing and got a bill for $1,000 for it. They didn't even check with me before. They just got the car fixed and then sent me this bill. God knows what all they did to the backdoor that the bill was 4x the quotes I got from other body shops in the region.
When returning the car, one agent didn't even notice the bump, it was so minor. It was barely larger than the golf ball size stencil they were carrying.
Horrible, horrible experience. I hope nobody else is scammed this way and faces the pain and discomfort that I faced.
Enterprise prices are HIGHER on your discount website than on their own website. Enterprise is not a good discount.
This company has proven to be reliable. They don't switch prices on you like other companies. They do practice the scam of selling extra insurance.
Racist unprofessional useless they need to be closely looked at was being racially profiled super rude and they wasted my time for 3 days
Company is criminal in every way possible. Never renting from them again. You get what you pay for. Buch of $#*!s hire idiots to run their stores.
Did not receive any help from the employees at two different locations. No effort whatsoever to help me or explain. Zero customer service.
Sean at Detroit Metro and the entire team is awesome!
Rented/prepaid a Rav4 11/24/22 at 1002am from Enterprise at Detroit Metro Airport DTW on Lucas Dr. Of the many companies and locations I've rented cars from over the years I've never been treated so well or felt such a relaxing welcoming vibe! The shuttle drivers are kind and smiling. Walking into Enterprise a woman smiled as she invited us in telling us where restrooms were, encouraged us to take a complimentary water and immediately called the next person in line. The other female and male agents were also smiling and kind while helping other customers.
Then Sean walked straight in from outside and called me right over. So professional, kind and knowledgeable. Sounds corny but it was like being in a dream. We finished and Sean walked me out to the car (freshly washed)! Never had someone walk me to my car. She walked around the outside with me checking for any previous dents etc (none), showed me how to get to the exit. I started the car and noticed it was warm inside! They warmed up the car! It was 43° outside and toasty warm inside.
You guys rock! Kudos to ALL working DTW the morning of pickup 11/24/22 and 11/26/22 the morning of my return (car receivers, bus mgr/coordinator). Again, everyone so professional. Thank you. Because of my agent Sean and the atmosphere of everyone Enterprise will now be a preferred rental car company and I will tell everyone I know. Please find and acknowledge my agent Sean. She is awesome!
