“The refund policy”

I am very disappointed regarding your refund policy which obviously in very fine print. I ordered a wig which took over a month to receive. The wig was not as pictured as it was not the color I wanted a way too curly. I sent it back in December. I'm now told I cannot be refunded because of the 60 day refund policy which I did not see in the catalog I spent 79.00 for a wig that was not what I expected it to be.

If you order an item and send it back within one week of receiving it, the company will tell you its not returnable or exchangable because you did not send it back the way they sent it to you with tag included. This is my 1st time ordering and my LAST TIME to EVER ORDER from ESPECIALLY YOURS. The items were too large and I wanted to exchange it for another outfit in a smaller size. Sending it through the US Mail may have caused the items inside the box to come apart. Regardless of the facts, I could not wear the items because of the size. I am taking my business and other referrals to other reputable businesses. SHOP HERE AT UR OWN RISK

Could not get confirmation no. Rep was rude. Was told I had to wait a couple days for confirmation no but my money had been taken out of bank immediately. Very disappointing.

I made an order on February 1,2020 for a deliver on 2/4/2020. Item was never delivered call customer service only to find out i had to wait 14 days item to be reshipped, called today to confirm my deliver and was told it hasn't been shipped out! Horrible
This company SUCKS! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM EVER!

I returned 2 items and it's been over a month still have not receive my refund every time i call i get a different answer.No one seem to know the policy. I was told that my return was there and it would yake 7 to 14 days to process but item was not there becsuse it wad return to my house because the smartpost lanel was damaged i call customer service trying to get a new lable buy they dont resend had to pay 30 dollars to ship it back. Poor quality

They do not honor the normal 30 days return policy as other companies from when you receive item but starts when they ship the item out from warehouse, so it could you take 2 weeks to receive it and 2 weeks to return, so where is the 30 days allowance for the customer? They then LIE and say item came back too late and your items donated to charity when in fact they have kept your money and resold the item for profit. LEARN FROM ME AND DO NOT BUY FROM THEM EVER.

I ORDER 2 WIGS ONE CAME LOOKS NOTHING LIKE IT DID ON LINE I MADE THIS ORDER ON NOVEMBER 21 STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED THE OTHER PUT THEY TOOK EXTRA $24.00 out of my account saying they didn't I called last week to inquire about the other wig told on back order but I cant't cancel today I'M told it's in the warehouse so I can't cancel beware of this scammers I'm reporting them to the ATTORNEY GENERAL THEY ARE SCAMMERS READ OTHER REVIEWS I WAS TOLD THE SAME THING AS ANOTHER CUSTOMER THAT ORDER AFTER I GOT THE PRODUCT YOU CAN'T RETURN CLEARANCE ITEMS AFTER THE FACT CROOKS

Exchanges and refund policy horrible. They do everything to keep your money. You never get full refunds. Items receive are not as pictured and sizes not true. KEEP YOUY MONEY. DO N OT ORDER FROM THEM.

The wigs and clothes look cheap and nothing like the pictures!... We ordered and hated the items the asked for us to return the items we sent then back and then they only refund us for one item and said the orders was on sale and cant be refund or shipped back which they fall to tell us... They are a big rip! With cheap looking products DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

I Purchased A Short Cafan That In My Opinion Was Not Finished Inside The Of The Neckline. Instead Of Fabric Seam Binding Was Used To Finish Very Poorly The Inside The Neckline. There Is A Problem Of Frayed In The Seams, As Well As The Seams Have Literally Come Apart. This Was NOT A Good Buy.

I called the company because they tried to charged my credit card (that I paused) $34.99. I explained that I returned an item so I really shouldn't be charged, I should get a refund. The rep explained that they just received my returned item today and will charge me for the item, I'll see a refund. Apparently, they charge you for a returned item again before they credit you for it. I wanted to understand the logic behind that, the rep said (RUDELY), "BECAUSE WE JUST GOT YOUR RETURN TODAY SO YOU WON'T SEE YOUR REFUND FOR 2 TO 3 BIZ DAYS"! I asked her why were they charging me so soon then and she replied "MA'AM, I JUST EXPLAINED THAT TO YOU"! I basically told the rep that I'm disconnecting our call because of her attitude, her responds was "that's fine". Especially Yours, do yourselves a favor and get your reps some Customer Service training. We all have bad days but that doesn't mean that you can be rude to customers.

Ladies make sure you return your items in a timely manner. I DO NOT mind giving to charities, but I dislike for anyone to take from me and say it's in the name of some UNKNOWN charity. I am MORE than capable of choosing for myself. Especially Yours just like you deduct shipping from my total when I return an item to you. You can also deduct shipping from my total to return an item back to me that you refuse to refund. Especially Yours this WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN... FYI: I would NOT have given you 1 star if I had the option

I was floored when I purchased $63 worth of merchandise from EspeciallyYours and needed to return them due to wrong sizes sent to my home. Not realizing the items were final sale, I purchased some boots and a puffer coat that were too small (the boots were (9N when I ordered 9M). Once I spent an extra $15 to return the items for exchange, I got 2 postcards in the mail saying that the items were donated to charity and that I would not be getting store credit, refund or exchanges I called and wrote Cust Svc to inquire about at least getting a store credit and no one will respond to my queries. I have lodged a consumer complaint with the AG in MA for resolution. STAY AWAY as this company DOES NOT value even long-time customers!

Sent dress back in March because it didn't fit right ordered another on never got it. Requested my money back. But keep getting the run around.So they got the dress back and keep my money.

WOW! I called to place an order with Especially yours and because I did not have the catalog in hand they would not let me place an order. Please let me tell you that I had torn out the middle sheet that had the product, product ordering number, pricing, and their words save up to 50% on essential head wear. I wanted to order the Deluxe Soft Touch Grip on Sale for $17.
The first operator would not let me order and stated she would not let me speak to a manager. I remembered her name as Michelle, but when asked she said her name was Keisha. When I called back to report her to the companies manager they kept me on hold for 22 minutes. This is totally unacceptable for quality customer service. The manager stated it was their policy to have the information on the back of the catalog, and mentioned that there were employees working there with both of the representatives names that I gave her. At NO time did she try to provide me with the product I wanted to order. So, I did not order. I expressed my disappointment with the minority business and stated they need to get it together for the customers, and to have a blessed day. What does it take to get quality customer service, and where will they be without the customers?

I ordered to true grace dresses one was on hold they charged my account for that one then refunded it back in pieces on the same day that they over charged me for the one I received. They sent the other one but it looked nothing like the one in the catalog. So I returned it. I was supposed to receive free shipping but they also charged me for that. They first stated that I could have received a refund if I had called back within fourteen days. Once I told them the date that I called back and it was confirmed that I did she stated that I had received by refund already. I called my bank then called them back with the information that they had not refunded my money back for the free shipping that I was supposed to have received. They are not the company I thought they were. There should be an option with no STARS at all. Customer service and management are a joke they didn't even take the time to add or subtract to get it right. No more ESPECIALLY YOURS is now off my list for catalog shopping for any occasion.

I received a promo email from Especially Yours on 4/26/2021. I placed an on-line order on 4/27/2021 and used the promo code in the email. I was overcharged on my order. I called them to get this adjusted with the deferred billing department. EVERYONE in that department that I spoke to was rude and nasty. I was called a liar, I was told the email that I received did not exist. I finally spoke to Barbara Duff and she asked me to email a copy of the email that I received. She asked to put me on hold while she viewed the email. She left me on hold and never came back to the phone. I had to call them 6 times and spent 3 hours on the phone. I was informed that Barbara went to lunch, while I was still holding on the phone. After 3 more calls, I was able to speak to Barbara again-she offered no apology or explanation as to why she left me on hold. She did admit that the email did exist, but said she could do nothing about it because it was a marketing error. Two days later, I received an email from Karen MacLeod. This email contained all of their customer's deferred orders... information that I should not have seen! I am still appalled with this business, and to date my issue has not been resolved. I have never been treated so poorly by a business. I am done with them. Note-this is not the first time that they have sent me a promo email and not honored what it said!

I purchased a wig, Wet'n'Wavy, Hilary, FS1B/30. This is the worst human hair that I have ever purchased. I will not purchase another one nor recommend this company to anyone.

Ordered wig style Vivid and Kayla from WEBSITE. Returned both wigs within specified time frame for refund. Approximately 3 weeks later, I received a letter stating that unfortunately I wouldn't receive a refund for Vivid because it was "ON SALE" in their "CATALOG". I ordered this wig online. There was no info online stating that return of this wig was merchandise credit only. I would never have ordered this wig if I knew this. I WON'T BE ORDERING FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

If you've ordered from Especially Yours, check your credit credit card statements! I just happened to check activity on my statement and there was a charge for ESPECIALLYYOURSPLAT+ of $14.99, I did NOT sign up for! Why would I sign up for something I never ever plan to use or order from again. I'm pissed because I stopped ordering, canceled catalogs and unsubscribed from emails. I cut off this company after my 2nd order, problems with returned items, paying for shipping and reading the many negative reviews. I said it before, "BEWARE" of Especially Yours fraudulent activity! I only selected 1 star because I had to make a selection. Otherwise, it's NO stars from me.

Products used:
NONE. I was being charged for ESPECIALLYYOURSPLAT+ for free shipping. I'd never order from this company again and I didn't sign up for it.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! Try to find out who owns this company and you will be given the runaround. Every legitimate company posts the names of their executive staff. Not this phony baloney company!

The wigs are cheaply made and way overpriced. NONE of them look like the pictures in their catalogs or online and and cannot be styled like the pictures. Most are plastic looking and so shiny they could be used to decorate a Christmas tree. Two that I bought, frizzed within a couple of days. What was supposed to be curls and layers turned into a mess that looked like patches of Brillo. I've seen better "hair" on dolls from the Dollar Store. Their return policy is extremely restrictive so they literally force you to keep their crappy wigs which are better served for Halloween costumes.

They charge a hefty price of $19 for "restocking" or $8 to return or exchange their sub-standard wigs. Buyer Beware. Shop elsewhere, they are a ripoff. In addition, they FORCE you to buy their crappy wigs but requiring an "exchange only". You are then stuck with their junk! AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I ordered the toniann wig, I like how it looked in the magazine, when I recieved it didn't look right, so that same day I return the package, called three days later, 1 my order was not return yet and 2 my order was 43 dollars and I was told I will only receive 22 dollars back, the wig was 30 dollars. I should have check out the reviews before I place my order. BAD BUSINESS!

I ordered my mother a white 3pc suit for Mother's Day she tried it on it did not fit. I shipped it back for a refund they tell me I can't get a refund because it was sent back damaged. Which was a damn lie! I call they tell me they are giving it to charity, charity my $#*! I won't my damn $80 back. These people are the worse I ever seen anywhere I order offline an send it back I get my refund. Something needs to be done about them. NOBODY NEEDS TO ORDER FROM THEM. They are the WORSE COMPANY. I'm calling BBB on them. I am beyond PISSED!

I purchased a suit for a $129.99 for a church event. The suit was too big so I sent it back for an exchange for a smaller size. After two weeks, I called to track the shipment for my exchange and I was told that they "DON'T DO REFUNDS NOR DO THEY DO EXCHANGES" and they had already donated my suit. I was totally devastated. I then spoke to a supervisor explained to her that the sales person told me to return the suit for a smaller size and they would mail the exchange once they received the suit in the warehouse. The supervisor told me she would review the tape and it would take 48 to 72 hours. I called after 72 hours and was told the supervisor was reviewing the tape and to call back after 5 p.m. I called back and spoke to the supervisor, Senawaay Scott, she became very belligerent. I tried to explain to her as I tried to explain to the 6 other sales people that I was told to return it for an exchange. I told them that I am 71 years old, retired, on a fixed income and I could not afford to donate my brand new suit. I told the supervisor that I would have had the suit altered if I had known they were going to donate my suit. She became very loud-mouthed again and it became very difficult to talk to her. Unfortunately, I did not look at the reviews before I placed my order. Is there someone who can help stop this scam.
