I recently had the pleasure of diving into the world of Especially Yours, and let me tell you, it's a fashion journey worth taking. I am very disappointed regarding your refund policy which obviously in very fine print. I ordered a wig which took over a month to receive. The wig was not as pictured as it was not the color I wanted a way too curly. I sent it back in December. I'm now told I cannot be refunded because of the 60 day refund policy which I did not see in the catalog I spent 79.00 for a wig that was not what I expected it to be.
The last two orders the quality was poor. Wigs had little marital on it. Won't order again. Deb in ca

I bought a pair of shoes,ESPECIALLY YOURS sent two different size width. After numerous calls with downright poor customer service which lead to escalation to their supervisors.
I returned the misfit and reordered another on the same date.After waiting a month for my refund they grossly falsely accused me of switching the size width and returning a misfit.They stated that is what they have in their notes and could not change it,that I switched the shoes width that I returned.
I have strong evidence that proof otherwise.What I have are exactly the same size width,so how then would I have switched? Of course they wanted to hold on to my money for the return,they finally agreed to give me back a portion of MY money.I sent them pictures of the evidence of the shoes indicating that I did not sent them back a misfit,because if I did I would have a misfit now which I do not.Even the supervisor that I last spoke with,stated that I would have had a misfit in my possession if I had switched,which I do not as is seen in pictures attached.
With all I had to go through from 12/5/22 - 1/31/23,I am totally through forever with Especially Yours.
They would not take responsibility for their own mishap but lied on the customer who had strong evidence to support the truth.
If I had switched the sizes as they had falsely accused, how then as in pictures attached would I have had a pair of shoes that are both the same size?.
Especially yours is truly awful to deal with.I have had nothing but sheer headaches,frustration,anger and long lengthy phones call just trying to purchase and get an item.
It is really not worth shopping with them.They are totally aghast!
Horrible Service! I place an order on June 6 today is 6/15 and still have not received my order. I called on the 14th and press opt 2 for shipping, recording came on and said I should be receiving my order on the 13th. Call again today 6/15 spoke to a character who said my order will be shipped on the 20th. I explained how long I've been waiting and that if they didn't have the item in stock customer should be told at that time. I said I'll refuse the item because I needed for this weekend 18th. He said if I refuse it, it will be a shipment fee and I would be better off accepting the item. I said if I accept/and return how much will be refunded 20% restocking fee would be added and how much would it be if I refuse, 20% shipping fee. I asked to speak to a manager he put me on hold and held longer than necessary and I hung up the phone. I called back spoke to another character and she supposedly got a manager, I explained the problem to her and she kept giving me a date of arrival on the 21st two conflicting dates of arrival. Also repeated what the other character said about the restocking fee/shipment. I said I'm not liable for this delay, you knew you didn't have this item in stock and I should have been notified. I was put on hold and when she came back to the phone she said I made a note of the 20% fee but this is no guarantee that you will receive it back if you return the item. I said take me off your mailing list and whatever else you may have my name on, I'M Done.
After reading so many complaints I agree, never again will I purchase any clothing or wigs. The same problem happen happen to ME. Check the REVIEWS

Why do they keep sending me catalogs when I asked them to drop my name from their lists. I can't trust that I will receive what I paid for.
I RETURNED A WIG WHICH WAS TOO SMALL. IT WAS RETURNED WELL WITHIN THE 21 DAY, APPROXIMATELY 5 DAYS AFTER IT WAS RECEIVED. I RETURNED THE TINY WIG FOR AN EXCHANGE FOR ONE OF EQUAL VALUE OR SLIGHTLY LESS. SINCE IT WAS THE HOLIDAYS, I ACCEPTED THAT THE ORDER WOULD BE A LITTLE SLOW GETTING BACK TO ME. IT HAS BEEN THREE OR FOUR WEEKS NOW. SO I CALLED THEM TODAY. THE FIRST REPRESENTATIVE CONVENIENTLY DISCONNECTED. THE SECOND EXPLAINED THAT THERE WOULD BE NO REFUND OR EXCHANGE AND THAT THE WIG WOULD BE DONATED TO CHARITY! I DEMANDED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR. SHE REPEATED THE SAME. RIDICULOUS POLICY OVER AND OVER. THEN SHE BECAME IRATE AND STATED THAT IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT THAT IT WAS NOT RECEIVED IN A TIMELY FASHION. THEN SHE REFERRED ME TO ONLINE POLICY EVEN THOUGH I INFORMED HER THAT I HAD THE PACKING SLIP RIGHT BEFORE ME WITH THE EXCHANGE /REFUND POLICY IN BLACK AND WHITE. WHEN I PRESSED FURTHER, I WAS TOLD THEY THEY WOULD SEND THE TOO SMALL WIG BACK WITH A SHIPPING FEE OF $5.00! I HAVE HAD SOME SUCCESS ORDERING FROM THESE FOLKS BEFORE. I NEVER DREAMED THAT THESE PEOPLE WOULD PULL SUCH A DISHONEST UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM ESPECIALLY SINCE SO MANY HONEST PEOPLE DEAL WITH THEM AND EXPECT THEM TO DO THE RIGHT THING. READING THE REVIEWS, I SEE THAT I AM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS BEEN SCAMMED. I WILL MAKE SURE THAT NO ONE ELSE IS TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF. THEY WILL NEVER RECEIVE ANYMORE BUSINESS FROM ME OR MY FAMILY, FRIENDS OR CHURCH MEMBERS. I WILL CONTACT THE MASS. AG'S OFFICE AND THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND IF NECESSARY, WILL CONTACT AN ATTORNEY AND CONSUMER AFFAIRS. I WILL NOT LET THIS INJUSTICE AND SCAM CONTINUE.
I bought a wig for my grandmother, she picked it and when it was sent the wig looked horrible, looked nothing like it was advertised.

I ordered a dress suit for my 84yro mom for mother's day. Fit her to a T! Awesome wig for me and it was just what I wanted. Great bang for your buck!
I ordered a coat from especially yours. Total was $213.00. I ordered it on the buy now pay later plan. Ordered in October and they were gonna charge me on 12/15/2016. The coat was too small and I wanted to exchange for a bigger size. I went to the post office and shipped it using their return postage label. I returned it 30 days after receiving it and kept calling to see if it had been returned. They were very rude and was told it had not been received as of yet and by now it had been 45 days and was told if they did receive it now that it would be donated to charity. Who has $213.00 to give away to some unknown charity? Sure enough on 12/15/16 They tried to charge my MasterCard for the amount and still they hadn't received the coat yet so they said. I had already beat them to the punch and cancelled my card because I knew they were trying to scam me. I get a call from them 2 weeks after they tried to charge my card and was told they received my coat that morning. Funny it takes them 4 days to send merchandise to you but it takes 2 months for them to receive from you. The representative then told me I owed $85 to them for the label and the shipping costs using their return shipping label. I told her I was not paying a penny and that they got their coat back. I then got an email stating they would send me the exchange I asked for and would bill me with my new card in 3 days. I told them I don't want the exchange now because I knew it was nothing but another scam and plus it now was way over 45 days. Did they really think I was going to give them my card number? Any time after that they donate it to charity. Did they think I was going to let them take me for a fool? No I wasn't. I would never, ever, ever order from this scam of a company again and it should be illegal the scams they are trying to pull on me and other people beside myself.

I ordered 2 dresses in a large not realizing that the large from your company is actually a XL. I tried to get the correct size that I needed but I didn't see it in that size so I called customer service and the representative walked me through the form so that I can get an exchange so now I sent the dresses back and I called a few days later to see if they had received the dresses mind you the representative that I spoke to before I returned the dresses didn't inform me about the clearance sale policy so now I am taking to another representative who is telling me that my dresses was on clearance and it will be getting donated to charity I said WHAT! On if I had known I would not have sent the dresses back. The final solution offered to me after speaking to 3 representative and a supervisor was they would put in a not but there is no guarantee that the purshace office would see it. So the moral of this story is that I have no money saved up money to get these dresses and now they are going to donate my dresses. This POLICY NEEDS TO BE REDONE! THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION! I WILL NEVERRRRRR ORDER FEOM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
Worst. Experience. Ever! I purchased two synthetic wigs from this company in early March 2018. When they finally arrived on March 24, I was highly unsatisfied with either item received. The first afro half-wig looked nothing like the one worn by the model in the catalog, was cheaply made and just poor quality. The other wig they sent wasn't even the wig that I ordered, it was a completely different item and it had a small dead bug ensnared in the hair fibers. I immediately called the toll-free number listed in the packing and got a message saying they were closed even though their recorded message says they're open 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. Saturdays. Called again on Sunday after church, got a live agent and explained they had sent the the wrong item (I decided to keep the other as I figured I could wear it as part of a masquerade or Halloween costume). I asked if they had the item I ordered in stock and she put me on a brief hold, came back and said the department I needed to speak with was closed but I should call back on Monday. Which I did. Repeatedly got the message they were closed even though the message giving hours of operation indicated they should be open. This went on for two days.
It was Wednesday when I finally got another live agent on the phone. She was a little rude when I explained they had sent me the wrong wig - that carried a bonus dead bug. I asked if the one I had ordered was still in stock because if it was I wanted to return the dead bug wig and exchange. She said the wig was still in stock then flippantly said they would exchange if the returned wig was unworn and in "pristine" condition. Did she miss the part about the bug?
Using the paid postage label, I returned the wrong wig on March 29. On April 7, I called to inquire about the status of my exchange and was told they had received my return on April 2 and it takes 7-10 business days to process. When I called again on April 21, the recorded message for exchanges said Especially Yours had "returned" $34.99 to me on April 10. I checked my bank account records over the phone and no such refund had been made. When I called Especially Yours again to inquire about this apparent discrepancy, I got the message the office was closed despite hours of operation saying otherwise. I did get a live agent when I called yet a third time that day, but only after choosing the phone option to place a new order. He suggested I try calling back the exchange/refund division since "they should be there."
I buy and purchase online all of the time and use Paypal to complete those transactions. Paypal guarantees your money back if there is a problem with a merchant. Guess what company doesn't allow you to purchase items via Paypal? My advice is to avoid Especially Yours, their hair/wig products are sub par and their customer service is sorely lacking. They get zero stars.
