Warning! Do NOT SELL HERE! Competitors will flag your listings. They have a clique of people who bully new sellers and they will all flag your listings for no reason and your shop will be closed for no reason!

HORRIBLE. I requested to cancel and item with no response. No customer service AT ALL! Very frusturating. I luckily got ahold of paypal and they are refunding my purchase in 10 days if the seller doesn't respond by them. I hope paypal sticks it to them and charges them extra. It's the best personalized jewelry shop. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE! Stay away from this site people. Don't be fooled by the fake "good" reviews. It's etsy bots, and etsy employees trying to make themselves look good under the guise of "reviewers".

I have been selling on ETSY and I have two big shops with thousands of sales and hundreds of 5-star reviews. Due to the recent policies which butcher independently owned and local shops, I have started looking for opportunities to leave ETSY. The enforcement of the offsite ads fee is unreasonable and I don't have any option given to opt-out offsite ads. I know that my customers won't be able to find the similar products that I sell and I am pretty confident that I will still get the same customers without the offsite ads. Secondly, the customer service for sellers is poorly regulated even though I have been paying unreasonably high fees. I paid thousands of dollars over a year and I don't get any response to my emails for over ten days.

I placed an order for stained glass with Karen Miles on her Etsy shop, Illinoisartglass and never received my order. I only received excuses and lies. Paid $790.00. Etsy is still allowing her shop to be open and helping her along with her fraud and thievery. Customer service won't help me since their 60 day policy has expired. I cannot even leave feedback for this thief! More people are going to get scammed because they couldn't be warned.
This site is crap, I'll never do business with etsy again.

Etsy is NO LONGER SAFE. I have 2 factor login (password and text message code) and my account has been hacked multiple times.
On 6/16/22,8/24/22,8/30/22, and now on 11/24/22 my seller's account has been hacked with fake postings of copywrited web graphics that link out to bundlesvgaz.net. Each time I have changed my password and done the necessary steps to ensure my account was safe (as recommended by Etsy customer service), yet this continually happens. I am currently trying to delete my account as I feel my personal information has been compromised multiple times. DO NOT USE ETSY!

I am having the same issue as others with the sketchy collegeprojewelry seller. I bought several charms and there is no way they are real. They look like horrible knock offs and the color on them turns green. They say no plastic, LIE. They say sterling silver, LIE. They say they are real, LIE. Tried to contact chris moshinskie and got no response. My sister wants me to return them but i cant get a response

Item never received, seller shop is closed. Etsy just closed the dispute case with no option to take it further.

I just received a cross stitched baby quilt from Anita Selph - StitchingbyHeart and it is beautiful. I wanted to make a quilt for my first grandchild as my mother did for my son but was overwhelmed with the work and skill that was involved. I ordered a kit for the quilt and a bib to practice on. It took me a week to complete the simple bib so needless to say I returned the quilt kit.

I went on Etsy to see if anyone made these and sold them. That is how I found Anita. What a great lady! She emailed me and got it shipped the next day. It was delivered in 3 days and I am beyond thrilled. I know how much work is involved first had and feel the price was a bargain.

I ordered something paid for it and didn't recieve it... ETsy said too bad nothing they can do... So you are screwed if you order something from this site. They can take your $ and you not recieve anything. DO NOT USE ETSY!

Etsy pretends they will support the purchaser, but look closely at their rules: you have the burden of proof; you can't get a refund if you purchase via PayPal, and they encourage PayPal; you can't complain in their forums, but the forums are the only way to get answers.

I suspect there are good vendors in Etsy, but the ones I found were crooks, plain and simple, and Etsy did nothing about it.

I needed dentures and had heard about flexible ones. I had heard flex dentures were very expensive. Then I came across ETSY. Problem solved! I ordered the custom kit and it came on time. I followed the Instructions and in a few days I was smiling like I hadn't in a long time.

I ordered two tapes from a vendor from the web site ETSY. This was on Dec 17.2018.The vendor on the order receipt stated that it would take 1 to 2 weeks to send them.One month later i sent several e mails to the site.NO answer at all.so i opened a complaint with ETSY. Well again not a thing was done. AGAIN I SENT E MAIL TO THEM NOT A THING AGAIN.so last thing i had to do was get ahold of the credit card company. They are looking into the problem.To keep from having this problem dont use this web site. They are a total rip off.

A platform with countless flaws where as a consumer I got swindled by the seller and Etsy did not even reply to my complaints. I advise you to stay away because if you encounter any issues Etsy will not intervene, will not even TRY to intervene.

Yet another taken for a ride by Etsy this Christmas! Spent £27 on gift, 13th Dec, e mail indicated it shipped 15th Dec, but no tracking info. Money has left my account, no gift, no response from seller or Etsy. Don't go here, they are rip off merchants!

I ordered an iPhone 5S phone case from one seller. Who ended up sending me an iPhone 4S phone case. The phone case was also very different from the picture shown. Not impressed with this seller/site.

Overall, considering this was a gift for someone, I am very disappointed.

I bought something that was edible and it made me sick-long story short-I requested a refund and seller would not refund. I appealed to Etsy- which wasn't easy as they make it HARD to find anything on their website for instructions on filing a complaint. Anyway I had to ask TWICE for them to investigate. When I finally got their response, it was OBVIOUS from their language that they didn't have a clue as to what the problem was even though I articulated it thoroughly in my complaint! They ruled against me and closed the case. What idiots! Sad for the good sellers on Etsy but I will NEVER shop on Etsy again-ever! Ebay is ten times better.

My sister got 2 dresses size 8 for my daughter and niece. They couldn't get the dresses past their chest. They were 2 sizes too small so shesent them right back and was told that the dresses were in horrible condition and it's her fault she ordered the wrong dresses even though shehave 2 small 8 year old girls. She took pictures of the dresses balled up and wrinkled up and they were no where near like that when she sent them back. Windmills and Bubbles horrible

Etsy is like Communism... If you don't agree with it, do not expect a response.
They choose shops they like, my guess is they are actual stores that pay them off, so etsy receives much revenue, so they FEATURE them.

My little shop. No Way! I just posted this comment when asked what me, a seller thinks of etsy, "POLITICS, PLAIN AND SIMPLE" and somehow the website knew to get rid of me and it, and all of a sudden I was out of etsy, where I pay for a shop and on a random internet site.

"It was very weird how they knew exactly what I said when I typed it. They must get a LOT of negative reviews!"

Loved the handcrafted fish medley and handcrafted fish decoration and delightful robot card. Fish medley is a unique feature in my cloakroom and the fish decoration in shades of purple is amazing in my guest room. Will definitely buy more pieces for gifts and the decoupage mirror is something I am seriously considering buying. The cards are excellent value and again will buy more cards from SpottySeal.

I ordered stemless wineglasses from ChiChibyChia through Etsy and they are perfect for dog and wine lovers! I ordered the ones that said "In dog wines, I've only had one" for both my sister/brother-in-law and me! We love them and they make us laugh while we are enjoying our wine! Kathy

I ordered through Esty because I heard many good things about it yet it taking almost 2 months to receive my order and it still isn't here yet they just shipped and now said its arriving late how much later can it get i ordered in may its july? I went to the main company to ask politely if i was going to receive my order she said 2 weeks still isnt here smh not likely to shop with y'all again...
