📢 Attention, Etsy Community and Support Team! My Etsy shop, NecklaceAura, was permanently banned right at the beginning of my journey with no explanation provided. To make matters worse, I was scammed as a seller on my very first day on the Etsy platform (Issue ID: #16571142). As a passionate and dedicated creator, I am deeply disappointed and seeking clarity on this decision. I kindly ask Etsy to review my case, unblock my store, and provide a transparent explanation. It is unfair to penalize a small business without a clear reason. My small business dream depends on it! #EtsyHelp #SupportSmallBusiness #NecklaceAura #EtsyCommunity
I tried setting one up, and it was instantly and permanently shut down by Etsy without so much as a hint of explanation. There weren't even any listings on the store—literally, all I did was create a profile picture. I appealed the closure, and guess what? Denied. No reason, no transparency, nothing. Now I can't sell or buy anything on my account, and if I try to set up a new one, that'll be blocked too. And to top it all off? Their denial of the appeal is permanent—no second chances, no reconsideration. Ridiculous.
I am an artist Myself and all I do only original painting, honest and true art, never repeat the same painting second time and do not complain at all! Etsy is a great place tosell real art and I agree there are many "fake:" artists,,, You just need to read more about artist, can write emails... If you buy art you will never buy factory garbage... There is a real art too for people who knows how to find art.

I ordered four things, one was a skirt and the other three various hair accessoires. My skirt came and was really cute, even tough it was supposed to be green/blue and not green/pink. I'm still a bit regretful because I wanted a different skirt with an more stable and not so flexible material, but I fell in love with it anyway. I later on got two of the accesoires, and they were alright. But the last accessoire is still missing, and it's been two months. It should arrive in 1-2 weeks, but I yet need to get an answer from "deadlycherries". It's a bit sad on how I originally wanted to wear the antler headband for halloween, but It's already over.
Seller Kirstywright, representative Brian Shellock. Product ordered and paid for but was not received. I was refunded the $8.00 for the purchased item but not the $15.00 shipping. Sellers comment was.". I'll refund for the puppets but not the postal costs, that was your call from ordering abroad".
I had ordered an item from an Etsy vendor, but unfortunately had to cancel the order after payment was taken. I immediately reached out to the vendor who agreed to cancel the order and refund my money. However, the refund had to go through Etsy, and I have not yet received my refund, although I was promised 5 - 10 business days, and nothing has happened since November 28. I have tried reaching out to Etsy support numerouos times; the vendor has also been great at assisting me with this. Neither of us have gotten anywhere. I am disappointed and frustrated, and although my daughters rave about Etsy, I will not be purchasing anything through them again. And once again... not becasue of the vendors, but because of the lack of support from Etsy.
Ordered and paid in full for a custom aisle runner in late December... I said my wedding was a month earlier than it actually was. Would message her because I hadnt heard anything for months. Angel Dauphine took foreeevvveerr to respond. Once she replied dont worry you will receive your runner well before your wedding. Well she never replied again and I never got my aisle runner 9 months later ("a week before my wedding"). Etsy was quick to refund my money and resolved the issue but wow Angel Dauphine just did not care, did not keep her word, and is a terrible business woman. I was sooooo excited about my bling aisle runner and now have no time to order one :(( bling is my theme and I feel soo sad and mad..
Tip for consumers:
Dont do it.. dont order from Angel Dauphine atleast.
Purchased dress only to have the incorrect dress shipped to me. Then the seller, sanyagold, sent my information to the other, vivian alexander. Vivian works for the federal government, proceeded to utilize the federal database to locate my contact information. Vivian then contacted my office and proceeded to harass my staff for the better part of a week concerning the exchange of this dress. When etsy was called concerning the mixup and release of my personal information, they refused to assist and allowed the vendor to remain on the site without concern. I was left to go to paypal for return of my monies. I would be careful with this site as they may be sharing more than names and addresses with people.
THIS REVIEW IS A "0". Not only does Etsy take almost $1000 of my money to cover their outrageous fees, there is ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. They make it impossible to get a hold of them, and when you do send them an email they never respond back to you. I had someone leave me a 1 star review indicating that they never received the item and that I never returned their emails. I was able to prove that her order was delivered w/I 24 hrs & I did respond to her 1 email w/I 24 hrs. Etsy would not remove her false feedback after reporting it and sending multiple emails requesting that they take it down. I'm selling on there now, but just bought a domain name and will sell from my website soon. I hate Etsy with a passion now.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING ON ETSY WITHOUT PAYPAL! They will cover your butt if you run into a bad seller! I have had some amazing experiences with fantastic sellers offering awesome products on this site, and have come across flat out thieves. Etsy's so-called customer service is a worthless joke. They literally offer nothing in the event of a non-received item but an automated mediation between buyer and seller. There are no actual customer service reps that answer emails, no phone number to call and speak with a human being, and no direct questions answered. Just a list of "common questions" for you to read from. As long as you pay with PayPal ( no, I don't work for them) they will refund your money promptly in the event you don't receive an order. I think Etsy has the potential to be a great site if they upped their customer service skills big time, and made it a priority to give a crap about the people buying from their site.
OK I have an Etsy store I make Pillows, Its a Pillow store (. With me so far)
I make a maternity pillow its U shape that's all no reference to any other pillow, like a name or Print, or what ever. I get an email from etsy saying they removed my listing because of a copyright infringement WHAT!
ITS A PILLOW you can't copy write a pillow. Unless lets say you had a pillow that look like a Disney product and so on. This is a U shape Pillow. There are thousands of U shape pillows... So if you are going to put a store on etsy be careful don't spend a lot of money on it. So don't make Lamps because someone will say they have a copyright on lamps ( I'm Being Funny) I like to share this stuff I have several sites and it always amazes me the genius of the upstairs office and the rules they make and if you have an eBay store you will know what I mean. Thanks Richie C https://www.etsy.com/shop/pillowpillowandstuff
I absolutely love this site! I've bought about a half dozen items on this site, mostly inexpensive jewelry and craft supplies, and I've never any problems. I have read that they have problems with their treatments of sellers, and I hope they resolve these. I enjoy supporting small business people, getting something unique, and BUYING AMERICAN!
We were working more than a year with etsy and build up a solid reputation with many returning customers and 5 star reviews. From one night to another they shut down the whole shop with many thousands of hours put into and of course a lot of passion. They said that a customer did not recieve an order. I sent the item tracked and signed and provided all papers and prove to them. They did not respond to any of my mails and letters not once. Instead they charged my credit card that I used for buying items at etsy as a customer - not a shop owner - WITHOUT ANY GIVEN PERMISSION! I reported them to the fraud department of the credit card company and they did not even respond to them. Etsy is criminal and does not care for anybody - STAY away before they steal your money!
Tip for consumers:
Never open a shop at etsy, never !!!!
My cc was stolen and I was issued a new one. When the new one came I tried to update it on etsy since I owed $0.20 for a listing fee. However, due to a short cc shipping time, their exceedingly short grace period ended and resulted in them suspending my account and then wouldn't allow me to update it with the new cc - there was no way to just update the card! On top of that, I wasn't allowed to purchase anything from etsy because I didn't have a valid card on file - with no options for updating to a new card. This glitch in the site is absolutely ridiculous and a middle schooler could fix the coding to allow a new cc to go through plus pay a fee. Why would I have to plead with them to call me so I can beg to have my new cc be put into my file to pay less then a quarter in fees and buy something.
I'm SICK of getting emails EVERY TIME I login to Etsy on a different device! STOP this practice. Also, DON'T ask for reviews of items that haven't arrived! Your website needs an IT overhaul desperately. Don't nag for reviews on items that have arrived. This is all absurd‼
At times, I have kept a shop on etsy.com and have used etsy.com for unique purchases for years but their more recent customer service is appalling. With the addition of their new app, they are refusing to allow customers to choose how they will pay for items. They REQUIRE the use of Pay Pal if you have a Pay Pal account. Since this is 2015 and I am residing in the USA, I have the RIGHT to pay how I wish. In addition, there is nowhere on the etsy site that allows one to provide them with feedback or to ask them questions. This is a current national trend and it signals consumers that the company has become too concentrated on GREED. Finally, much like ebay, the sellers on etsy.com charge exceedingly high shipping fees to disguise the true price of their items, a dishonest and unethical trick at best. Most people use etsy.com because it is a way for artists to market their goods without high fees and overhead. This turn toward the dark side SHOULD cause artists and concerned others to look elsewhere.
I ordered a dress for a wedding for my daughter on 9/7/17 when I received the dress it was torn. I emailed the manager several times about the issue and received no response. I paid 90.00 for a dress that cost less than 5 to ship. Shipping was $17 and then the dress was torn upon arrival. I will NEVER order or recommend this unprofessional company to anyone. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!
Etsy has allowed this vendor to rip me off for over 400$ dollars. I paid for a product but have not received it. And now they say the window is closed.

This is by far the WORST website I have ever used! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! I ordered party decorations from this website and paid $128. When trying to contact the seller to get a ETA on the order, I received an error message that they are not a valid user on etsy!. I tried emailing the seller from my personal email account with no response. Their website sends you around in circles trying to find a contact email or phone number for etsy for some resolution to this. Because I ordered a 3 months before the party, I thought I had ordered in plenty of time, not realzing I am now out $128, have no decorations and no response from the company, Can't even be able to left a review!. ETSY just close stores, like if they were changing undies. Thank goodness I paid through Paypal and they actually CARE about their customers satisfaction unlike etsy. Most worthless site ever!
The site charges outrageous fees, NEVER stands behind its Sellers (their true customer) and allows sham sellers to run rampant on the site. I opened my shops with Etsy when they first got started, it is sad to see what was once the best handmade selling venue turn into such a horrible place for the seller. Etsy has slipped way to the bottom, I know very few true sellers who even utilizer the site. Stick to Amazon and Ebay they are REAL sites for a reseller to transact business and not be scammed by Etsy and the scam artist who go there to steal items.

I used the site to list and sell products. I used the site for over 10 years, I had 1000 items in each of my shops, I paid them about 100.00 per month.
I will never use Etsy again. I had a problem with a cutting board I received as a gift. It was rough and full of splinters after one use. The seller suggested I sandpaper it and condition it which I did (at a $20 expense) and still it was splintery. Etsy would not step in to solve because they said it was used! Well, duh that is the problem - it can no longer be used. It went right in the garbage and my son paid almost $60 for it. I felt terrible for my son and I hope the seller goes out of business - they are so unprofessional! The name of the seller is SugarTreeGalllery... dont buy from them!
This is probably my favorite place to purchase interesting things on the net. There are lots of great home made items, vintage items sold by excellent sellers.
10 days later... still being shipped after of course..."damaged package" must be re shipped... save yourself the hassle and do not order from this company.
Ordered product that said ships 1 - 3 days from LA and was in stock. Wrote note asking for it to ship ASAP as for pride weekend. Monday order. Thursday afternoon notice says shipped...
This online store impressed me so much that I chose to leave an unbiased review on their website. It's a great store, and I'll surely come back for more purchases.
