I love Etsy. It's full of individual businesses. You will find anything you want here and if you don't someone, probably several businesses, will make it for you. I go to Etsy all the time for gifts and for unique items I want for myself. One of a kind pieces. Running leggings, jewelry, furniture, car accessories... so many things. It's awesome.

Last week, I logged on to Etsy, It was super easy to set up my account but when I want to get my favorite stuff, It never arrives. I thought if I can leave Etsy alone for awhile but I think Amazon is better. I saw that the Fox miraculous must have 5 spaces, not like volpina's miraculous. I'm very confused and very annoyed a bit. But It is more cooler as I expect. I really think they can move to Amazon so they can work together more often.

Contacted the vendor and said it was delivered by USPS. Never received the item. I have USPS app that shows deliveries. Delivery not shown. Vendor said they would resend if I paid postage. Will not use Etsy again. Will use Amazon as they are delivered on time with notification of delivery. First and last time for Etsy.

I ordered a few items at some shops via etsy. It were beautiful handmade products!
The shops where I bought something had all good reviews. My advise (I see a lot of bad reviews): read the reviews of the shops before you order something, and ask a question about the product. It can help you to get an idea about the attitude of the seller.

I bought a ring with a cluster of opals from Colors of Etnika through the Etsy website. When I asked for a total refund because the colour was different, they told me that there was no significant difference and closed the case. The opals were turquoise blue on the advertised picture and the ring I received had totally different colours. I know opals can change colour according to lighting but it was really obvious in this case that they were different. Therefore I am only going to be refunded for the ring I returned, no refunding of shipping costs involved. I won't buy through Etsy again and would not recommend it to anyone who doesn't want to get ripped off.

Ok some of the handmade stuff is overpriced but there are some that don't do that. I've gotten some cute stuff and some incredible art. I only recently had a problem with a store that wouldn't answer my messages when my purchase was never shipped. Etsy gave me my money back with no problems. I'll never buy from that store again but it's not stopping me from buying on Etsy. There are still good people on there that make great things.

I ordered an item on Etsy on 5/13/18. As of today (5/22/18), the item has not been shipped and the shop owner will not return my inquiries. Be aware of who you are buying from on Etsy. Some vendors are reputable and some are scamming (you know whats). As for Etsy itself, they have no contact phone number to reach them to discuss these issues. I'd just stay away from that site and buy direct from the vendors that are trusted.

I purchased a DVD through an Etsy seller. It is scratched and won't play. The seller refused to respond. When I said I'd give him a bad review he replied "Have fun with that." Won't be shopping with Etsy again. There doesn't seem to be a place on the site to report the seller.

I've been using etsy for years. I've purchased hand made items, crystals, vintage jewelry. I've never had a problem with the sellers, and I've always received my items as promised. I've never had to use customer service. Over all I really like etsy.

Great products and fast shipping from most supplies shops. Don't let one bad experience keep you from shopping here. Most sellers are conscientious and friendly as well as quick to respond to all inquiries.

Ordered a masquerade mask from a seller for my daughters prom and it was never shipped! I found out the day before the event that the seller had debited the funds for the purchase but did not ship it. Her response? She no longer had the item, we could get a different one instead. Really?!?! I got to pay Amazon 4 x the amt to have a different mask shipped the day before prom. I'll never do business with that site again.

I love to make crafts and sell them online. This is the most popular site for selling crafts and is great if you are shopping. As a seller though, it can suck. It is hard to get started and they charge you for everything. I am not pleased.

All positive reviews about this Etsy scam are fake and paid for! Scammers below (Dottie M, Amber N, Milburn A and Billy J, Freddy D, etc) are paid by Etsy to deceive others. If they sell their soul for mere $5, imagine what would they do to you! Beware and report these cyber criminals!

Now desert noir is saying a refund. I want the cactus not a refund. He is denying what I purchased and there still is one available. Why not give me what I ordered? Again I don't want a refund. I want the cactus. That's what I chose from the start. The silver barrel cactus.

I use to like Etsy but I don't like how they have become hateful against white people. What is with them having a special category for black owned businesses? How racist is that. Can you imagine if I asked them for a strictly white owned business category? Then I see commercials on TV that are promoting Gay Asians, black people and everyone except white people. Etsy is racist against white people. I am sick of it.

I ordered two shirts (Drunk in love, just drunk) on Saturday and I saw my email wasn't going to get here until Friday but needed it sooner and asked if expedited shipping was possible and how much and they did 2 day shipping for free. If you email, they seem very much appreciative of business and will accommodate you.

I ordered invitations and thank you cards for my daughters birthday from a seller. The seller advertises that the file would be sent to me with in 24 hours. Four days later and several emails from me to the seller and nothing. I filed a complaint with Etsy and the seller did write me back saying her computer broke and she would send me the file the next day. Again, I heard nothing. I am still waiting on her. I have a complaint to receive my money back. I then order the invitations from another seller and again, I hear nothing from them. So two orders and no product. They both have my money though. I will NEVER purchase another thing from Etsy again. Such a horrible service.

I ordered a T shirt, and even after 3 months I didn't receive it. I gave a negative review in response. Imagine, after this, Etsy (Sabina) categorically refused to ship it, saying that why I gave a one-star rating. To get my shirt, I changed the review from one star to 5 stars. Still, I didn't get it. Now I have canceled the order...

Bought four paintings through etsy, was way lower quality than the seller charged and from the pictures showed, dust and hairs stick on the paintings and cheap canvas used. Showed the seller photo prof, she claimed that was not damage, and would not refund. Threat me with bad words. Remember to be very careful when shoping on Etsy, there are both good and bad sellers existing.

I like Etsy most of the time. But they allow too long of waiting periods between the time you can order and the time you can complain or make case if you order is not going right. I've ordered a lot from them and especially if you order something they can email you they take their time emailing your order that you payed for already. You sometimes even have to remind them or ask them why it's taking so long. Not very professional at all. I'm not pleased at the way that's been going.

I am both a buyer and seller on Etsy. I frequently make purchases on Etsy and have never had anything but great service. The one thing you have to remember about Etsy is that to address any customer issue you have to go back to the seller you bought from. There are over one million sellers on Etsy. Most of these are honest and hard working and provide a good product for the money. I run an honest business and desire that every buyer is thrilled with his or her purchase. If they are not I will refund their money as will most Etsy sellers.

I ordered fabric on Etsy. I did not receive the fabric. One would think that is a clear cut case. Etsy sided with the seller because the seller could prove that they shipped the fabric even though I never received it. The seller did not insure the package so I was out the money. This is not the way real businesses are run. Plus when you ship something, it is between the seller and USPS, not the buyer. I could not have filed a claim even if it was insured. The seller still refused to do anything. Etsy's response was that it is between the buyer and seller and Etsy is not legally responsible. Apparently you agree to these terms when you sign up for the site. I do not believe this as it was Etsy's rule that the seller used so that they could keep my money. Paypal also sided with the seller even though their own rules state if you don't receive the package, not if the seller can prove they shipped it. I do not recommend using Etsy or paypal. Stick to reputable businesses.

If you were renting an apartment, and were set to move in the first of the month, but were able to start moving in the last day of the previous month, would the landlord charge you the full previous month's rent? Well, they do this at Etsy. No pro rating here. If you open your shop in the last 2 hours of the last day of the month, you then pay the full month's fee. I also think the search is still bad - takes too much time to look through everything when searching for a particular item. Wish I could find a good alternative to the site.
