Etsy is an amazing site. It has the best products especially for military family's. Orders are always completed in a timely manner correctly and respectfully. Orders have exceed my expectations.

Don't waste your time or money on this site. Another seller that never shipped the item and never responded to emails. Etsy.com provides zero support.

Bought a scam product from one of Etsy's sellers and when asked for a refund they said I had to deal with my credit card company. Will not buy through Etsy again!

Etsy has allowed me to leave my job and become a full time work at home graphic designer. I've had great experiences from my customers. Good communication is key! Thank you Etsy!

Zero stars! Ordered an item a month ago- never arrived. Impossible to contact ANYONE at Etsy. They're like eBay in the bad old days. Filed a dispute with the credit card company.

Hello! I'd like to share with you the situation I'm in. Maybe someone experienced anything similar.

I run a store selling needle felting sculptures, kits and wool since 2016. Located in EU. I have a few hundred sales and 5-star reviews only thanks to my customers. All my bills are paid, I never had problems with that.

Twenty (20) days ago my store got suspended by Etsy. I have two red banners on my dashboard.

They both basically say the same - "your account has been suspended. Read the reason and details in received email and contact Etsy support".

The thing is that I have not received any emails regarding that. I've checked all possible spam folders etc.

I contacted Etsy support 8 times from that account, all my submitted tickets are displayed under my profile in "My Support Requests", however I got no replies at all. I also cannot use Etsy forums - get an error, probably because of suspension.

What I have now -
Etsy blocked my store with no reasons provided. I am literally losing money in this pre-Christmas time. Few of my customers reached me wondering where is my shop gone. I have no clue what have I done wrong, since Etsy has not provided a single reason, and also ignoring my questions. There is no way to contact Etsy.

I feel really down, I could not imagine that something like that might happen. Thank you for reading.

This person has an awful attitude towards her customers. She often slats them behind their backs. She thinks she far more superior to others. I certainly won't buy from here again.

I paid £30 for an item on etsy, estimated delivery time 1 week its bee 5 weeks and I still haven't received it. Horrible website never ordering off of it again.

Etsy is a total scam for buyers and sellers.
As buyer: the items never arrived and no support answered.
As seller: they are free to block your account without any reason.

This platform is simply a place for bad morons to scam people. I'm sure there are some legit artists, which is a shame because I REFUSE to use this company anymore. I was completely ripped off purchasing a $105 "sterling silver" bracelet that chipped 6 months later - IT'S NOT SILVER, ONLY PLATED So, since Etsy's "review policy" SUCKS so bad (you only have 100 days, anything can stay together for 100 days!) I'm telling you here - DO NOT BUY FROM Etsy and do not buy from Sakar Jewelry in Baltimore MD.

Stay away. I ordered a dog crate cover from Bow Wow Beds. The estimated delivery date was 35 - 40 business days (not regular days, "business" days). The item finally arrived well over 80 "business days" from the order date, also conveniently outside of the Etsy "60 day review" window which starts on the ESTIMATED delivery date, not the ACTUAL delivery date (does Etsy count regular days in that 60 day window or "business" days). Continual excuses from the seller after the first slap in the face "didn't you read that it is a 35 - 40 business days estimate" then went on to complain about all of her orders she had received which put my order further behind, she was trying to hire more employees, get a brick and mortar store, etc. Then when the shipping notification was sent, it took another week for the product to be shipped because the seller had so many orders going out at once. None of those issues do I care about, just wanted my product within the original estimated timeframe. No additional timeframe was offered. When it arrived, the personalization was done with some sort of paint or ink and can't even be seen unless the crate cover is down. No tie ups to roll up any of the four sides so my dog can see out. We have to overlap the sides across the top of the crate. Just expected a lot more for the price. Now Etsy has responded that they are sorry I had this experience and that they cannot reactivate my 60 day review window. Convenient for sellers who would rather have no reviews than a bad review. Sad, because this first time Etsy customer who learned her lesson could have been a happy repeat customer.

We have been happy with the sales on Etsy but they do not seem to care at all about the seller experience and there is no way to block problematic buyers or scammers. As a seller, it is nearly impossible to get anybody at etsy to help with disputes. I still recommend selling on this platform but they need to work on helping sellers and not just exploiting them. DO NOT USE PROMOTED LISTINGS. That system is just setup to waste as much of your advertising dollars as possible and the results have been hugely disappointing.

Take a note everyone of you that thinks this place is bad. Cool gift ideas and selection of various things for her/him. I ordered numerous times and I'm still happy.

Accounts closed for no reasons, also not good to start your small business, you see other people sell the same products that you have but customer service close you account

I tried to get these nails! I bought them January 12 took tell February 20 to send to me then I never received them said they were delivered but NOTHING IN MY MAIL BOX THE SELLER SAID ITS YOUR PROBLEM! What a Bi$&h nasty woman! Horrible customer service! She said she's great shop I call BULL S$&t on her! Then the company would not help me get my money back bunch off scam BULL S&@t site! Buyer Beware!

RosyroseStudio this seller from Etsy took my money and delivered the order to wrong address, not the one I mentioned when placing my order. After contacting her and asking to send it to my mentioned address so I can get my order that I paid for she told me that it is not her business to take care of delivery process and told me that I am a liar. After many days of talking with Etsy I finally got a refund, however such sellers creat very disgusting experience.

So, I did a search for "rainbow stickers", wanting to buy some to decorate my new beige landline phone. It's totally old-school and retro and has a curly cord and everything. But anyway, every time I return to etsy, their home page is showing me recommendations based on my search for rainbow stickers, and half of those recommendations involve male private parts. One particular piece of artwork is a collage of penises done in charcoal.

I originally clicked "report listing" for all of them and chose the option that says something like, "This item isn't properly catalogued as being adult content," or whatever. So some time passes, I return to etsy, and those exact same listings are still staring at me. I report them again. More time passes, and I return to etsy, and it's more of the same. At this point I send etsy an angry and incredibly hostile email. More time passes, and I don't hear back from etsy (which isn't too surprising since I called them whores and sluts), but I return to the site and the same listings are still there on my home page. I'm through.

I love Etsy! The site helped me find some of the most thoughtful and unique gifts this year! Everyone loved them and I felt great about helping out artists. It's just such a cool community.

It's very niche with its products. There are a lot of artists that sell drawing. It's a bit overpriced and the interface is not great. I use it mainly to buy unique gifts for people.

I have been trying to contact them the past 2 weeks and barely anyone has reached out to me. For such a big company they sure do NOT know how to respond to their customers.

I was a seller on Etsy. I was accused of violating Etsy policies, my account was subsequently banned. I received automated e-mail messages in response to my appeal.

The accusations made against me were completely invalid and hypocritical. Thousands of listings for the item I was banned for selling are still being sold by others on the website.

Etsy STOLE all of the money that they were withholding from me and had not payed me yet, then blocked me from logging into my account.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLATFORM, try Amazon etc. instead. HORRIBLE!

This is by far the WORST website I have ever used! DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE! I ordered a lawn decoration from this website on Nov. 16 and paid $78. When trying to contact the seller to get a ETA on the order, I received an error message that they are not a valid user on etsy. I tried emailing the seller from my personal email account with no response. Their website sends you around in circles trying to find a contact email or phone number for etsy for some resolution to this. Because I ordered a Christmas decoration, I thought I had ordered in plenty of time, not realzing I am now out $78, have no decoration and no responce from the company. Thank goodness I paid through Paypal and they actually care about their customers satisfaction unlike etsy. Most worthless site ever!
