Shocking. I bought 2 tickets that were post posed by 3months due to covid, Ok I thought, then post poned by 12mths which no long suits me as I will be away that time and I was also hoping to take a friend who is terminal. I contacted them and they declined my refund request. I stated See Tickets have offered me a refund for an event I booked with them, TUI have refunded me (All because UK Law says event companies must now offer a refund) This company doesn't abide by the law. I will never use them again. Contacting them is very hard.
Free ticket is not being Honored by event planners. This is false advertising. Bad business, and correction should be made to your site before guest arrive
My family and I purchased tickets for May 28,2022. We received an email 2 days prior stating the event has been cancelled. We have been requesting a REFUND for a week and not only have the Organizer not responded, but the APP EVENTBRITE sends us a computerized statement to reach out the Organizer.
We have been SCAMMED... This is one of the reasons why taxpayers and citizens do not purchase anything online, my family and I just wanted to come out of the pandemic and enjoy ourselves and others who have experienced being excluded.

I would give zero stars if I could. I bought 4 tickets back in Feb'20. The event was cancelled because of COVID-19 and after 10 months begging for a refund, I have not received any indication of when they will return the amount. I've sent all the forms, called, everything that you can imagine, and still don't have a response. I feel helpless. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

I had a horrible experience with Eventbrite. My event was postponed and I received multiple emails saying that I could request a refund but it was impossible to do so. Eventbrite would not let me request a refund on their site since the event was not cancelled and when I would try to contact the organizer I would hear nothing back. I eventually tried chatting with Eventbrite on Facebook where the agents were extremely unhelpful. The first agent copied and pasted all of the things I had been trying to do for weeks. When I responded that they could do more to assist they said sorry that they could not help and closed my ticket out. I reopened it and asked them to contact the organizer on my behalf which they half heartedly said that they did. There has to be a more efficient way for Eventbrite to communicate with the event organizer and improve their non existent customer service. Eventbrite is a joke and I strongly recommend that you do not use them as you are on your own. They are the most disgusting company and the worst and most frustrating experience that I ever have had the misfortune to work with.

I know for certain that A NUMBER of events posted on that site for my city are indeed scams. There is not even an option on the app which allows for me to notify EVENTBRITE of a possible scam so that it can be investigated and ultimately $#*! down. Smh

Eventbright provides very limited or no support. The service can be fee or low cost but they seem to make it up when you can't get your money from your event. They also never answer the phone.
So you sign up for an event and they conveniently cancel the event. They dont offer refunds and this cycle is repeated. Scam central and you might as well light your money on fire. Stay away

THE Government Needs Shut Down Such Sites And Firms Must Stop Use Them
I have used Eventbrite three times, twice in 2018 and once in previous years. No problem the first time, but a complete disaster the second and third times, which occurred within two weeks of each other. First order was for a conference I often attend in S. California. Never got a confirmation email; my credit card was never charged. I had to call conference management; they arranged for me to attend, asked me to bring check. Worked out fine. Second time in less than two weeks, I tried to purchase a ticket for a Jackie Evancho concert, also in S. Cal. For a later date. Received no confirmation, my card was charged and purchase price sent to theater. Had to call theater to confirm. They printed a ticket and mailed it to me. Only way to contact Eventbrite is by phone, but phone number is on confirmation. No confirmation=no phone number. This year Jackie's management has changed ticket broker, so no problem for concert this October. Informed conference leaders that unless they changed sellers, I would no longer attend. Leaders are personal friends of mine. Very embarrassing for them and me! Will never use Eventbrite again.
Sending out a WARNING to new eventbrite users: Be very carefully about which package you choose when you start using eventbrite. In good faith I set up a collection for a friend's wedding present and totally thought I had chosen the cheapest package as it was a low key affair. I wanted to use eventbrite because people can pay in different ways, the funds are secure, anyone donating would receive a nice confirmation etc. However, once the first tickets sold I realised that the fees were substantially higher then expected. I inquired with Eventbrite but it took them a good week to reply. By then it was too late to make any changes. I was told that I was on a middle sized package and not the cheapest option. I am still not aware where in the start I had the options to choose which package. I was under the impression I had chosen the most basic package. In effect from an event which raised £1820.-- Eventbrite charges came to £153.76 which translate to 8.45 %. I am extremely embarrassed to tell the donators plus the receiving newly married couple about the high fee - which could have been avoided if the set -up process was clearer. I personally find that I was misled by the information available and I am extremely disappointed. So, please - be extra careful when using eventbrite and be clear what the charges actually are.
This last Saturday night they had the TRIC O' TRIT party in the Elevate Lounge, in Downtown LA.
It turns out that someone stole my cell phone from my purse, which I had with me while I was dancing! The same thing happened to other six women as far as I know. Who knows how many more,
When I told the event promoter what was happening, this man got really angry and rude, and he started yelling at me, calling me names, then he called security to kicked me out. About 5 giant men attacked me and took me out of the place! They robbed me and attacked me.
All the members of that event are LOW CLASS, RUDE, DISRESPECTFUL, DANGEROUS!.
I wasn't able to call the police because my phone was stolen there.

I paid for an event for my wife in June a month later and 2 hours before the show we see they cancelled the event for Covid as if they didn't know until that day. We then saw later that night they changed cancelled to postponed. At the end of September and many unanswered emails by Eventbrite and the promoter we get a message saying they would reschedule starting in July. Neither Eventbrite or the promoter will refund my money. They claim there is a NO REFUND POLICY. My counter to that is that is binding only if they had the event on the scheduled date and if they change it that policy is void as my schedule does work around theirs. It is now the last week of October and nothing. It is like a big joke to them. I bought her the most expensive seats in the house for her and two girlfriends so this was a lot of money. I am trying to file a lawsuit at this time and can't even get them to give me an address to have them served. I will never use their service again and will find the address and sue for triple damages. DO NOT deal with these thieves.

I am big on reviews I'm the person that checks the reviews before I make a selection even though I know some people can be very petty and complain about little things but I go by the majority. I purchased tickets for a show on March 20 through #eventbrite the show was canceled due to COVID-19 and has not been rescheduled. #eventbrite Asked me to reach out to the organizer #parisjavon I reached out to the organizer through email and they are no longer available. So I reach back out to #eventbrite who responded by email saying "sorry for the inconvenience but there's nothing they can do" so I will no longer do business with either companies And I'm still asking where's my refund?

Right now I've spent over two hours trying to get tickets for what I was charged for immediately after buying online yesterday at a movie showing at Hollywood Forever Cemetary. After that purchase there was no confirmation email, no tickets and zero customer service. I called and talked to Ticketfly which is listed as the entity which issues tickets. They said that the system was turned over to Eventbrite and couldn't help me. I went to their website and found a CS phone number - they are closed. I tried emailing them and was automatically notified it takes a week for them to respond to emails. I called Hollywood Forever Cemetary and they said to contact Eventbrite also. Back to their website, they are practiced at avoiding customers with complaints - there is no phone customer service available for them until Tuesday. I looked up the reviews about Eventbrite. Not flattering. Lots of people have been ripped off by them.
