I hope Eventbrite goes to hell They swallowed my tickets. I bought tickets, have receipt, they won't display. I'll proceed to make their life a living hell.
They make is easy to take your money and impossible to get it back when the event was rescheduled three times. We left the area for the season and have yet to see our money. They screwed up appointments for covid shots. If I ran my business the way they run theirs, I would be out of business. Stay away from Eventbrite!
The ticketing system is inefficient, asking for too much information multiple times. Why do visitor has to put multiple email address just to join the event? Also, why asking the email address again after login then what's the purpose of ticket then?
I received a random charge from them unrelated to my ticket I purchased after the event. They have no contact number, and their sales number doesn't allow your to leave messages or talk to people. I can't log in on a browser because the sign in buttons don't actually have links attached to them. I have to call my bank now to cancel my card.
Site is helpful with event details and ticket purchases. Only negative is that I purchased 3 tickets and the event was cancelled. I reached out to eventbrite several times to get a refund or some type of credit and still have not had a response. Very dissapointing
I got charged twice for the GABs Beer festival and after a week of consistently emailing Eventbrite, I've got no reply and no refund so now I have to deal with a fraud case with my bank in order to get the payment reversed which takes 2-3 months to process.
If you haven't got a contact number than a great online support should be your focus. Will not be purchasing again from this company.
I got free tickets for my birthday 3 days in advance called the promoter the same night spent $20 to get there with my advance free ticket to be told it's $40 and my eventbrite ticket was wrong wtf never again worse experience ever ruined my birthday
Bought tickets on eventbrite and nowhere on the company's website or on eventbrite did it list that you had to be vaccinated to get in. So I was turned away and the company said I have to go through eventbrite for the refund and eventbrite said I have to go to the company and neither of them want to refund me. Definitely agree they are thieves.

I would give them no stars if I could. NO customer or organizer support. They used to be legit but they are now a scam site. You now have to pay extra fees to increase ticket sales which we paid and people still can't buy tickets from the site. DO NOT USE EVENTBRITE!
This cruise was $200 dollars. It was the worse experience in my life. They overbooked the boat. It was so many people you cannot even walk through to do anything. It felt like i was taking a train ride with million people. It was a big spam. They advertise to be the nice cruise with food dj and everything. We were not able to even walk through to get to a to b. The $13 dollar ferry rides to golden gate bridge has more room to walk around. This was the worse experience in my life. The instruction said to be in port 40 but it end up being someplace else and no announcement. We had to wait in a cold over an hour to get on this terrible boat. Please don't ever book any cruise from event bride.
It can be a fake event, or a bogus event. They do not care. If you report the organizer they come back saying it's not their issue and the organizer keeps on posting events. Beware of what you get from them.
Went on line to purchase two tickets from Eventbrite for a magic show in Tahoe. When we went to the venue it showed that we purchased two sets of tickets one being a handicap set. When we went to the venue the it was noted there was an error and said the double billing would be resolved. I could not get Eventbrite to refund the error. I do not recommend buying tickets through a third party, it's impossible to get this common sense error fixed.
We attempted to purchase tickets today on Eventbrite for a Funko event next month which we have been eager to attend for years. We were on the site we weren't able to even proceed to checkout. We attempted to call every possible phone number affiliated with Eventbrite however each one was not a working number (I've attached one number we called below). We attempted several times as well to navigate through their website and send an email to customer support however my email is still attempting to send more than four hours later. We made one last attempt to contact Eventbrite through their Facebook page and it ended up being a chat bot which didn't reply to us. This was an extremely sad experience as my family has been wanting to attend this Funko event for years. We are extremely disappointed that Funko chose to utilize a company that truly doesn't care about its customers.

I bought tickets to a Son's and Daughter's of Erin event that was cancelled 3 days before the event. A purchase that cost me over $1100. There is a "known issue" with Eventbrite's site that they cannot accept payments for refunds. They can accept payments for the tickets, but not the other way around. Really?!? There is no real customer service with this company. When you do get a hold of someone, they constantly say that I have to contact the organizer and the organizer says it's Eventbrite. Eventbrite took my money, not the organizer. So, Eventbright GIVE ME BACK MY MONEY or I'm turning you into the cops. I suggest organizers and customers to avoid this company.

We were unable to attend the Lights Under Louisville event. Tried to get a refund the same day as purchase. We never heard from this organizer after 4 emails. We followed the procedure on there website for refund and nothing! NEVER PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY.

Got tickets to 2 online events. Never got the links to attend. The site only has FAQ's to handle problems ie. No support ticket to fill out when other problems exist. For example, they do not have any info when the organizers do NOT respond. The only email address they provide is for the sales department...who took about 4 days to respond to my issue. WHICH they said, "Thank you for reaching out to Eventbrite! This email address is only monitored for new Sales inquiries. However, please know that our team and our self-service resources are here to help!" If this website is for events, wouldn't they like to know if organizers are not providing the events? Is this site a scam?
Eventbrite totally took the hit and sent refunds when the organizer of an Obstacle Race (Atlas Race) bailed and took off with the money. I can't speak to their services, but in terms of doing the right thing for the participants--they were awesome.
The refund process, is non existing, I purchased tickets, for a event that was canceled, now Eventbrite instead of just refunding my cost, which was paid to them, they now refer me to event organizer, for the refund. After waiting 10 days, no refund, and now the event has been rescheduled for October 2022. Now they issue new tickets for the event in October instead of refunding my original ticket cost.
I just want a refund, do not purchase tickets with Eventbrite.

Bought VIP tickets to show. The show was oversold so had no seats for us. Left the show. Did not see the show.So asked for refund. Contacted organiser, no answer for 3 weeks. Contacted eventbrite support, wrote back that i need to contact organisers which i did, but if organisers did'nt replay in 4 working days i should contact eventbrite again.So i wrote to them after 5days and again after 11 days. All they sent me again is contact organiser. Even i bought tickets from eventbrite. Be careful people if organisers is scam eventbrite will NOT HELP YOU get Your money back! Worst service ever.
Tried to run an event through eventbrite. The link to registration page didnt work. Spent hour on chat line with them (no telephone support available). The solution they provided didnt work. Couldnt get back on chat line. Apparently you cant use it twice in short time frame. DONT run an even through these guys
I bought tickets for an event in Miami and when I got there they told me that it was a scam and I had to buy the tickets again.
When I complained about it with evenbrite they were extremely rude and said that I was laying lol

I charged two tickets to museum of natural history gilder exhibit for $2.00 pay what you wish minimum. Instead I was charged $132.74 and citicard says it is legitimate...
So, I am out $130...ruined our vacation in NYC...
I have attended on-line events regularly throughout lockdown but for the past several months haven't gotten any tickets to my e-mail in spite of site noting tickets have been sent as soon as booked. Some events go live on-line so I have managed to attend a couple but I now avoid booking paid events as I can't be certain of being able to access them. The site suggests incorrect e-mail address, a typo or checking spam folder if no ticket arrives. None of this applies and there's no way of contacting Eventbrite about this. Fed up trying to contact event organisers seperately and obviously annoying at their end if attendees appear to be not showing up. A shame because the on-line event content has really expanded but it's not reliably accessible.
This app blows and they got me hot asf in reality. I ordered my ticket to a ski mask concert the day they went on sale, 3 months before the concert was set to take place. I received an email today saying that they are cancelling my order under suspicion of reselling? I have wanted to see ski mask since he canceled his last show in my city last year, and these imbeciles are making me spend an extra 40 bucks to get another ticket because of how much later it is. I for sure will not be using this trash site again and i personally recommend seat geek or something because eventbrite is not it at ALL.
