Extreme Terrain

I was shopping for some running boards for my 2021 Tundra Crewmax Limited/TRD Off road. I came across this site which has just about anything you can think of to customize your rig. I settled on the RB20 running boards so my family can have an easier time getting in and out of the truck. They arrived sooner than expected and were super easy to install, maybe took a little over an hour! I was really surprised to see that there was even new bolts to replace the stock truck ones where you mount the brackets to the truck body. Very happy with them so far.

I planned on purchasing some side steps for my Gladiator that were open box. They were running a promotion of 20% off open box items but when I tried the code it wouldn't work. I was able to talk with Nichole and she informed me that after they have my order confirmation, they would put in a ticket to get me a refund for the difference. I felt comfortable placing the order and looking forward to my new steps

Love getting stuff from them and how they promote customers to show off their builds. They have an amazing supply of products and such that are awesome. However they are usually pretty pricy. I recommend them to everyone I know that has a vehicle they cater to.

Received a mirror relocation kit for my 2014 JK. One of the blanks broke both anchor pins off. (Bad welds). Contacted support to replace piece and was told we don't do that. Offered to buy said piece and was told they don't do that either. Need to repurchase the entire part.

Ordered Redrock side steps for '23 2door Jeep. All went well but one threaded rod on one step bracket was cracked. Called to get 1 replacement bracket but was denied...needed to take everything apart, repack and send back the whole order - uh, no way. On a whim, contacted Redrock but again denied as they are a third party supplier. There HAS to be a better way to obtain replacement parts for broken or missing items. C'mon guys, work it out!

Very pleased with every aspect of ExtremeTerrain. Great website & customer service. Only hiccup was the delivery — when the parts arrived, only half of them showed up. The online account portal showed all parts arrived, which was not the case. When I talked to customer service. They remedied the situation and explained that they weren't sure what happened & even offered a $15 store credit for the issue. Later in the day I received an email explaining that they were now out of stock. If I had known, I might have purchased a different light bar or even from somewhere else locally. No harm, no faul — but the communication was a bit lacking

Buying online was easy. The step bars were too high; therefore, not functional. I bought some supplies to modify them. They now are functional. I bought a tonneau cover. I have a hard cover on my ford; therefore, trusted the brand. However, the soft cover rattles to much when driving. I should have just spent more on a hard cover. But it does look sharp when parked.

I will not write a negative review because it was my fault.

My 1st purchase was a supposedly set of locking lug nuts, The lug nuts they sent ae not locking, rather a 7 point lug nut set with 7 point socket which is not what I ordered. I got them to be able to lock the spare on the back of my 23 Bronco - this set will not do that as they are too deep and leave enough of the lug exposed so that anyone with a set of pump pliers can remove the lugs and then the spare tire.Then they refuse to take them back they wanted pictures which i tried send but they would not accept.

I ordered two Raxiom Axial fog lights for a 2nd gen Tacoma. One fog light was correct, and the other was not. The thread pitch for the adjuster was too small. I have had difficulty with Extreme terrain customer service in the past, so instead of dealing with that hassle I just changed the hardware on the truck to use the wrong fog light.

I purchased the Raxiom factory backup camera with the interface and it stopped working after only 2 months of use. After speaking with Extreme Terrain they would not warranty this product and would not refund any of my money. I was told to contact the manufacturer and they would possibly warranty my purchase? NOPE!
Come to find out the manufacturer that was making the interface and camera was bought out by another company and stopped making this product several years ago. After speaking with the company that used to offer this camera system I was told that Extreme Terrain has a bunch of these packages sitting in their warehouse that they cannot get rid of. In Short, Extreme Terrain knows this and once they find a buyer they sell it to you and keep your money. This company is a scam!

Package said was delivered Saturday I couldn't find it. I kept looking for it after calling them. 3 days later I find it in middle of my field all rained on because it was raining for days and package was filled with bugs. I live in middle of the country and FedEx basically hates coming to my house so I get the worst service from them.

I didn't get all my order some things where out of stock. And I was giving the option to cancel the thing instead of wai.when I chose the link to cancel it wanted my login and I did not have an account to log into so I couldn't go any further.

Every picture is the same with a circle around the part they are talking about. There is more than one way to mount the brackets. Otherwise i would have rated them as a 5.
I mounted the bars in less time than ot tpok to figgure out the stupid instructions.

Missing hardware and instructions were missing a lot of steps.

I needed a part for my Jeep JK at a fair price. Extreme Terrain had multiple options at competitive prices. My item shipped quickly and there was great communication. I will definitely shop Extreme Terrain again.

Well shipment was fast however these are a Birthday present so hopefully they aren't damaged The box they came in was damaged so part of the mirror was sticking out. Could have been packaged more securely!

The app gave me a little trouble trying to order, but the website was easy. Tire and wheel package were mounted, balanced, and ready to be put on the Jeep. All parts ordered when I ordered the tire and wheel package was delivered on time. I made an order the next day, that I forgot to order with the original order, it was a day late, but it was FEDEX'S fault..

I ordered a set of four wheels, and the packages showed up in good shape and on-time. I had the wheels mounted at a local tire shop, but 3 of the 4 wheels were non-round, which was discovered on inspection after returning to the shop with major vibrations/bumpiness after installation.

I had my original wheels put back on and I asked that Extreme Terrain refund me for the wheels, which still had me down >$200 for installing and un-installing the non-functioning wheels. They initially would not allow a return and insisted that they send me 3 replacement wheels, which I obviously didn't want after seeing how poorly-made they were. (Also, the shop didn't mark the single good wheel, so I wouldn't even know which three to return).

Finally, they allowed me to simply return the dud wheels I was sent. Still had to eat the installation fees, and the whole process was made way more difficult than it had to be.

I had questions and concerns and they walked me through it all! Thank you very much!

The only place that i found that had a harmonic balancer on a 1976 Jeep CJ5 with a 5.0 litre. Very easy to order online did not have to bother anybody with having them check. Awesome!

When I first saw all the reviews I thought maybe they weren't all legit or were inflated but after my first order I was hooked. This is an amazing supplier of Jeep parts. I'm now 8?
