I had lots of technical problems with the app. Background check took almost a month and already been approved months before this w both Uber and Lyft. Got my scheduled appointment and made deposit. Waited for appointment to pick up car
Seemed like a good deal a month ago but after the 300%+ increase in start payments in the same way creditors sense red flags when one person applies and/or obtains multiple new accounts/debts in a short amount of time bc they could already know they're dying (for example LOL) so whatever I wonder what Fair is preparing for!?"
I leased a 2016 Nissan Sentra with 40.000 miles on it. I Thought they check and inspect the cars and the engines before leasing them to customers they tell me that I should call again tomorrow! I am not happy with my deal at all. In only 1 week I took the car to pepco aamco Nissan service center and the problem still exist."
Dublin location was awesome! I came right In and they helped me right away! They had a great choice of cars. I was assisted by managers who were very nice and efficient. They were fast and very helpful. Larry
Absolutely the worst experience of my life with the rental company. Their kiosk in Irvine was located outdoors in the Chevrolet dealership. They had learned me in with an ad promo that I paid off $185 security deposit for and when I arrived to pick up my car they said that that promo was no longer available. All of the cars available for either small or subcompact and looked extremely worn out. They were dirty on the outside and inside floorboards had not been vacuumed there was tobacco and ashes in one of the doors of one even a rudimentary cleaning had not been performed. The people at the kiosk couldn't answer even the most simplest questions and directed me to contact customer service via the app which had a 22 minute wait time.
It took about three weeks to find out I couldn't apply. They needed a proof of address... so I sent my PO Box proof of address (in a bill statement) and waited for days... I contacted them twice before the response of decline. Since I get all my mail at my PO Box they won't receive that. They need a physical address. And proof of it in some utilities
Trying to use the app to update my address and no option is provided. The app does nothing when I tap on my address. Then I go to support and enter my question and hit submit to get a white screen with nothing on it.
Can't access my account for few days. It asks my phone number which I type and it sends me 6 digit number. I type the number into the box and it comes back to the first page where it asks to type the phone number. It is like closed circle. I think there are many bugs in this app.
Bottom line it is the best automotive shopping experience of my life! I went on the Fair app but unfortunately the car sold in the meantime. Snooze you loose. Then I selected another car and I was told that same day it was available. I didn't want this one to slip thru my fingers too. So I went thru with the Fair paperwork and my start payment immediately. By the way if I don't use all of the *******miles/yr I chose they give me some money back! Didn't get that on my previous new car lease. The next day my appointment was set and I picked up my Fair car! It was as pictured. It was in great condition. Of course it's a pre-owned vehicle and wasn't perfect but still in great shape. I was at the dealership for 15 minutes. Yes
Ok... so it seems everyone who's reviewed this app obviously has NOT completed a transaction. So I downloaded the app pick your car sign your docs then get your car. Easy! Simple! No stress! No long term lease! No long term loans! Perfect!"
It seems like a killer idea if starting payments were not included. This is a clever way for this business to own what you should own. If you wanted to solve a problem for the customers you should eliminate the starting payments altogether.
I just leased a 2019 Jetta for under 200 a month and they offered me a 2016 Jetta for more then what I pay for a brand new one. Either I'm an amazing negotiator or there something up with there financing rates. Either way I think when my leases is up I'm just gonna go to a dealership.
The BEST way to lease a used car! After reading the contracts it took about 10 mins to sign everything and close the deal. The easiest and fastest way to lease a used car. Whoever thought of this was a genius!
Won't allow me to add my bank account or my bank debit card. Icon in the right hand corner just spins and spins when I try to add my bank debit card and then when I sign into my bank account to link to the app it says successfully linked then it says api error try again! So frustrating! Fix your app!
It's good but they take too long to return the deposit when the car is returned it's been almost two weeks since I returned it and haven't got the deposit back and I returned the car in very good condition
Fair offers a ton of potential. They do a lot of things great about making the whole procees seamless. It really is easy to get a vehicle. Aaaaand that's about it. Trying to contact their customer care team is such a disgusting and tedious task. Literally no one picks up the phone. Their email service takes days for a response. My Fair vehicle started leaking and I needed to get this figured out immediately to ensure no long term damage but trying to contact the team to initiate the benefits they offer is impossible. It is genuinely the most awful experience I've had trying to utilize their services. If they offer so many great perks
I was told that I needed to verify state of residency do to having a out of state license. I submitted that info via chat that is set up on the app. The reps do respond promptly however I was told after I sent the info that I was going to be transferred over to another rep
I have a leased car from fair app and i got a notification to upgrade my app and i did so. Upon upgrading the app to latest version it is crashing the moment i try to open it. I am using iphone 6 with ios 10. 3. 3 Please fix this issue as i am unable to check my documents on fair app due this app crashing issue
Such as your phone number and drivers license even before you get to look at any cars and before you decide if you want to buy anything. I am interested in seeing what's available but I don't want to share all this personal/sensitive information before I decide on a purchase. Uninstalling.
I've been looking for an alternative way to get a car and wow did Fair figure it out. The ease of the approval and shopping process made me enjoy getting a car for the first time! Not to mention my payment is phenomenal and I'm not stuck in it for 3years!
Hey I mean it's good way to help out someone anyone anybody with the right intentions. But can't help those with a low or bad credit. I work with Uber I'm trying to get a car again to be back on the road and I really got shot down because of my credit. It is great this app is designed for both personal and rideshare use but it's not a helping hand to make you start again or fair enough to let everyone get a opportunity (bad credit) to try the platform. I mean at the end of the day both ends of the party is going to get money. Doesn't that sounds fair enough?
First time i used Fair (for Uber)...(San Bruno only 3 makes from which to choose and the total vehicle count was one-third of the 27 boasted. At arrival the correct office i needed to go to was not only difficult to locate on top of that it was unattended for quite some time before a guy finally came by. When it came time to sign contract he informed me it might take up to 24 hrs for the vehicle to show up on my Uber account. WHATTTTT.? In my experience with another company the car was on my uber account sooner than i walked out with the keys to go drive the car. Then the car did not show up for quite some days later and when it was there
I think fair is definitely deceiving their customers they say it's not a loan and that it's not a rental I think it is you don't get a new car you get used cars and everyone you want to get a different car you have to pay a $500 fee that adds up you can just get a better car at a cheaper price this app is horrible
First car- I go to pick up a Dodge Charger. The car had four worn out tires. It was so bad I refused to drive the vehicle off the lot. I received a refund a week later but the damage to my credit score was done. Second car- I ordered a Passat and three days later they tell me it's not available. Third car- I canceled the order since I found a better option. Fourth Car- Camry-two day wait
The worst customer service. They won't even get back with me to accept my money lol smh I have contacted them 4x and they send you through a automatic loop with a chat person who can't help and a email that never responds. Lord help whoever has a real issue with these guys with a car smh
The concept of the business is great. Purchasing process super simple. They took my money and it allll went down hill from there. I was bounced around in the chat from 10am till 6pm with literally 4 different reps and no one could give me an answer when I was going to be able to get my car. They told me we have to wait for the money to transfer. I called the dealership and they said they had the money. So Fair lied to me. Great. Their post purchase "process" is horrendous. It's like they're figuring it out along the way. If it's this bad 2 days in - what's it going to be like once I get the car?! How am I going to be able to communicate with them if there's a problem or if I have a question?! I asked for a credit of my deposit for all the trouble they've caused and I got a response
I got a 2019 Totota Corolla LE for very low price without any hassle. The best part was the bundled comprehensive insurance for half the price that others offered. Even maintenance is covered by FAIR once every few months/miles. I would surely refer my friends to FAIR.
Fair is a new way to get a used car that lets you lease a pre-owned vehicle completely digitally – and for as long as you want. Use your phone or the web to shop cars with monthly payments that fit your budget, get approved in-app, sign for the one you want with your finger, then drive it month-to-month for ultimate flexibility, or on a 2-year or 3-year lease if you want the best value.
Headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif., Fair launched in August 2017 as an app-based digital leasing platform for pre-owned vehicles.
