Seemed like a good deal a month ago but after the 300%+ increase in start payments in the same way creditors sense red flags when one person applies and/or obtains multiple new accounts/debts in a short amount of time bc they could already know they're dying (for example LOL) so whatever I wonder what Fair is preparing for!?"
The process to getting a vehicle is so much quicker and smoother than Hertz... David from the Lawndale location was very helpful and explained how the payment process works... and I definitely prefer this method compared to Hertz... will update
Many companies are judged on whether they deliver service with a smile and if the service is decent. I judge companies on how well they address things when they go astray. Enter Matt Dowley. The dealership completely dropped the ball and their obligations to FAIR. FAIR could have easily said it was beyond their control. But Matt Dowley did not. Matt went above and beyond making sure I got to work and was not in an unsafe vehicle. He worked tirelessly and is still rectifying the situation. FAIR is in good hands because people like Matt exist and he is the reason why I have faith in FAIR. Thanks for being decent in an era of passing the buck and making excuses Matt. Faith in humanity restored.

I did purchase a uber car and the way i received the car was horrible all dirty everywhere inside and outside i have to pay $213 dollar for tge cleaning and they only giving me $100 dollar and i will be paying $212.64 weekly for a car for 2014 so i should be trick better than that because for what i pay now i can get a 2019 car
The ads for this app makes it look like they're financing car loans. These are just long term rentals at competitive prices. Would you pay $260/month for a 2016 Chevy Cruze with 38k miles in 2018? I probably would. I get bored of cars I've rented from hertz within 2 days and they're much more expensive. This is app is like Car2Go when they were still in San Diego but with slightly more practical yet less desirable cars. 4/5 That's for being confusing with your ads.
I gave this fair location 5 stars due to the customer service that was given to me by Fred. He was very helpful and patient with the skills of multi tasking but getting all questions comments and concerns at the same time. I appreciate the hard word he puts in and the quality of work that was given to me.
I had a similar experience with the whole "car being sold" situation. I signed paperwork and paid my downpayment. A few hours later I happened to catch a notification stating my transaction had been canceled-that flashed across the screen of my phone but was not stored anywhere in the fair app. Fair did offer to waive my starting pay cost and refund my original downpayment
The treatment and running around has been so unfair. Tried to give the car back within the 3 days of receipt. However if they do not want the vehicle back? No one from FAIR or STG auto cares about the unfair treatment or the fact that the vehicle was falsely advertised and had even contacted the dealership prior to going to verify the vehicle before driving 90 minutes to garden grove to pick up a car that is not what is advertised. However FAIR did not care about the blatant unfair treatment or to rectify the situation and just prolonged me having to keep the car who's battery has already been needed to be jumpstarted and eats gas like nothing else I have ever seen. I have gone to better business bureau on STG auto and will be going to bbb on FAIR too. I guarantee you I am not the only one out there with the same unfair treatment. Give me money back or switch out the car. Until this is rectified beware of FAIR."
Horrible app. They collect personal vital information from you and then offer NO cars at all in Connecticut and then refuse to delete the information after you contact them. Very scetchy app and poor customer service
I was very unsure about using Fair to get my first car but I was struggling without one so I took a chance and tried it out. I was very pleased with the quick service I got my car the same day I picked it out which was totally amazing since I was on a time crunch to get one. The dealership was friendly and made sure it was the car I wanted
I was a little skeptical to first. I downloaded the app and browsed for about a month before I decided to lease a car. I loved that I can pick a car through the app without a time commitment. I always have had a company car but am currently between jobs. That's what made Fair so appealing. The app was very easy to navigate through low mileage and clean. I couldn't be happier. I would recommend this app to friends and family without hesitation. And already have! As with everything read what you are getting into to make sure it's what you want. I am happy to say that I received the best service today from the Lawndale office. I was having problems getting my car registration and Nik was so helpful in me receiving it and getting me on the road. Great job!
So I downloaded the app because I heard wonderful things about it and that you can get a car to rent for Uber quickly and my anxiety is going through the roof I don't want to choose locations again since I'll be at the bottom. They said a few days but to be honest it shouldn't take this long I really can't wait to get my car make the 215 payments and pay my bills :)"
I visited the Glendale location and had problems linking my account to Uber. I had called customer service for Uber and Fair multiple times and still couldn't resolve the issue. Carl Jackson took care of everything from fixing my account issues to refunding me my money. I appreciate the level of customer service I received from him.
Unable to see cars inside app unless you are verified. It was redirected to a website in the browser and there is an option to view details in app again. Is the app not completely built? Not satisfied. Uninstalling now?
Kae was absolutely excellent my vehicle did not have a registration and kae went over and beyond to do her duty of service to me and get me a vehicle with a current registration. I so appreciated her excellent customer service that I had to do this survey now because she was excellent in every way
From start to finish the process to obtain a 2016 Traverse was super simple. I think the monthly pricing depends on your credit score and I was able to include my car insurance in my monthly car note(awesomesauce)! Being that I have a pretty high credit score and a good driving record
I encountered an issue with fair when I was registered with Uber and my registration was not properly disclose to me. And I call fair to get the issue resolve. Tearsa Burgess the manager on behalf of Fair in south Florida help me by physically call me and went to the dealership and fix the issue. She sent me the copy of all I need to move on. She is trustworthy and loyal to me as customer. With her skill the company will go far in South Florida and thank you!
I was broke living paycheck to paycheck at a minimum wage job and was without a car. I was unable to throw down a 1-2k deposit for a car and i was having very little luck with finding a cheap car that will run. During my car hunting I came across an app called Fair. It was something too good to be true so I investigated. I came to find that it was true. For a cheap car all you need to do is drop around 500 for a deposit and pay roughly 360 a month. From there my life took a dramatic change. With a car I could finally stop bugging my gf for a ride
I went to the Fair station in Lawndale today to pick a vehicle up to drive with Uber. I liked the idea of Fair and all it offered so decided to go ahead and lease a car through the app. It honestly couldn't have been any easier and actually fun to search all the car options they have. Once I found my car Matt Dowley and Matt Scullin went over and beyond to make sure I was happy and helped with anything. The Matt attack made everything so simple even though it's a super simple process anyways. I'm definitely gonna lease with Fair from here on out. Thanks for creating a great app!
I have a car with Fair now (had it about 10 months) The app is really easy to use and they are efficient and the idea is great; but... The prices have gone up ENORMOUSLY in the last few months. The deposits required are now $thousands - as much as a new car. The payments have increased too
Your lucky if you find a yaris at that rate. Better off at a rental company and get what you want at less hassle. Besides Uber is on the way out try Lyft or better yet anything else. This company is a scam and vheats drivers.
I have a 2018 Chevy equinox and I love this car from fair! It wasn't expensive and the start payment was reasonable! Now I am debating if I should get another car from fair or not. My 10k mikes are almost up and I've been shopping around for a month maybe a little longer for an affordable start payment. Last years start payments were under 1k and now! They are 1
Super bowl weekend 60 trips for $185 bonus from Uber Few months later no warning 70 trips for $185 bonus from Uber. Final straw for me was Father's Day weekend without warning 90 trips for $185 Took various calls for them to process my refund it took them 10 business days to process the refund aside from that I now have to wait another 7-10 business days depending on my bank. I highly doubt I will be renting from them again most of the trips I would receive from Uber were short. They do not have hybrids. Cars average 25 MPGS most of the cars have light interior colors that get dirty easily
