I had lots of technical problems with the app. Background check took almost a month and already been approved months before this w both Uber and Lyft. Got my scheduled appointment and made deposit. Waited for appointment to pick up car
Seemed like a good deal a month ago but after the 300%+ increase in start payments in the same way creditors sense red flags when one person applies and/or obtains multiple new accounts/debts in a short amount of time bc they could already know they're dying (for example LOL) so whatever I wonder what Fair is preparing for!?"
Jeff from Texas helped me pick out my car today. He was very informative about the entire process. I am very happy with the service that I received today!
Tim Jeff and Stacey helped me out significantly and I was in and out pretty fast. Amazing crew they worked together perfectly. This fair station was a great experience
I can't search by transmission type. I want standard (stick shift) transmission and I have to look at every single car to see if it is not automatic :'(
Every time I check in with the app it's a complete wash to choose Fair over owning a vehicle if you're poor even with the prospect of vehicle maintenance."
Lol this app is crappy... wants your DL and SSN before you can browse the cars via app if not it take you to their website via safari browser. Delete and scam alert.
I've had my Fair car for a year now. It was so easy to find and obtain this car. The customer service at Fair is exceptional and I've had all great experiences with them over this past year.
No representatives available and the app has a lot of glitches. The app asked for my social multiple time and I hope that doesn't effect my credit score. The cars seem affordable.
Justin an Tim. W from fair took great care of me I was very happy with the service it was quick an easy I would recommend to any one... Great customer service
I was an very early adopter of this platform signing up during their first month in business Sept 2017. I got a 2017 Fully Loaded Limited RAV4 with only 3000 miles and ******* Miles per year and it only cost me $356 with tax included! I didn't even have to pay a start payment! They also delivered the car to my house. Now THAT was a deal. This same deal would cost me a TON more now. Their prices have shot up significantly. I considered adding another car but can't find a good deal anymore. This is basically a service now where you pay a premium for convenience and flexibility. They should get rid of start payments for first time users and lower it for those who keep their cars for more than a year or those who don't swap their cars out a lot. Also the start payment doesn't even cover the first monthly payment. When you turn the car back in you will owe a final monthly payment. They have good innovative leadership and I've experienced great customer service. Just wish the pricing wasn't so much more now.
This is a whole new innovative approach to car buying experience. It takes all of the hassle and high pressure salesman out of the picture. This is awesome!
This app is a great way to drive a newer car without the depreciation of ownership and inflexible terms of a lease. Thanks for creating a flexible option
Just loved to Cali this was great as I didn't want to commit to buying a car when I first arrived. Just have to stay on top of insurance company or may want to get your own.
Using Fair was such an awesome experience for me. It was super easy to get on the app and fill everything out after choosing just the car I wanted. When I showed up to get the car
Seeing many of these reviews same not a problem. SECOND this is the cheapest rental for ride-share drivers I've found! It comes to $198 a week with the tax. I no longer qualify for Uber's quest & promotions however now the one promotion I do qualify for is better than Uber's quest as of Dec 70 rides= $185 and 120 rides= $305 for the week. I have rented with Maven previously for 5 months and I had the cheapest vehicle it was costing me $240 a week! I also used Hire and those cars were costing me $45-$50 a day those were the cheaper rentals too. Not only that I had two cars break down leaving me unable to work a couple times. THIRD thing I think that is important for Everyone considering renting with Uber is that the when you are going to pick up a Fair vehicle (I had to go like 40-50 miles) Fair will pay for your Uber ride there! LASTLY with Fair you don't have to bring in the car every 4 weeks to renew your reservation it is all done remotely. When I rented with Maven for 5 months I had to drive the car to their location every single 5 weeks! I hope this will help some of you!"
I have been using a fair vehicle for the past 7 months and it has been such a relief to know that I can hand in my vehicle whenever I want. That being said
I came in to pick up my car and the staff was very helpful. Jeff is the person to see when you need to do business there. Brook and Justin also very helpful people
It's great for me to chose lots of cars with any kind brand name. Especially the prices and the ways of financial it fix with anybody not enough the money to buy the car.
Fair has the same credit check process as dealerships. You will end up paying a lot more. Why pay 130-150 a week when you can go to a car lot and pay 130-150 a month leasing.
The starting payment they are asking for is ridiculous! People can actually buy a car with that much money. Why would anyone pay that much for a rental car? YOU ARE CRAZY "Fair."
When I got the app it's was really impressive the price was truest fair and the down payments started at 500 which for me was good I got a car was happy but I wasn't using the car all that much and returned it now I was looking to get something else the down payment have double or even triple for the cars which for me is crazy especially for a car that you don't even own I'm not looking for something long term if I was I would just buy one the first one o got the monthly payment with insurance was about 400 a month now the same car is about 500 with double the down payment I paid before at this point it doesn't even make since to use the app
She had so much positive energy. She took her time with all the questions I had to ask. She broke everything down to me the right Way without rushing. And I'm satisfied. Thanks so much
I was doubting about this app The app told me to wait for the confirmation that they will send me and email so next day on Saturday morning they confirmed they charged me the down payment with the insurance the total was $866 then they ask me what would be a good day to pick the car the car was available the same day so I pick 6:00 pm I went to the dealership that was located in Coral Springs FL
Jeff from Texas and Brook from Portland we're absolutely amazing made this a very comfortable and exciting experience I would recommend this for anyone trying to get ahead and get on the road for a very reasonable price thank you Jeff & Brook and thank you Uber and fair
This app is the best and they are super reliable. I leased a car and got the car that I asked for. This company has some potential. I would suggest using it.
Fair is a new way to get a used car that lets you lease a pre-owned vehicle completely digitally – and for as long as you want. Use your phone or the web to shop cars with monthly payments that fit your budget, get approved in-app, sign for the one you want with your finger, then drive it month-to-month for ultimate flexibility, or on a 2-year or 3-year lease if you want the best value.
Headquartered in Santa Monica, Calif., Fair launched in August 2017 as an app-based digital leasing platform for pre-owned vehicles. Since then, the Fair app has been downloaded almost 4 million times and the company has grown into the world’s leading used car leasing platform, serving customers throughout California and Florida.
