I am a big fan of anything honeycomb related. I thought that your honeycomb would rate one of the best going around, however, it didn't live up to expectation. I felt the honeycomb was overcooked which gave it a slightly burnt taste when you eat, as such, there wasn't a rich honey flavour. The best honeycomb I've tasted is from Beechworth Honey, in Victoria.
I've purchased chocolates for my family on a number of occasions from here and they've loved them every time. Maurice, the owner provides fantastic service in a very timely and efficient manner. Highly recommend.

Discovered Federation Artisan Chocolate via Google and have made several online orders since. There is an excellent range to choose from and correspondence via email has shown great customer service. I took advantage of a 20% discount deal with free postage if you spend over $55 - making these special treats very affordable. Every chocolate has been a "taste sensation".
Orders have arrived in regional NSW from Tasmania within 2-3 days!

Brought 6 different blocks and all of them are absolutely delicious. Best dark chocolate I've tasted. Customer service is also very friendly and prompt. I'd happily recommend Federation Chocolate to family and friends and will be ordering more in the future.
Normally we'd just drop in to the shop, which is an experience in warmth and pleasure on various levels, but for Mother's Day this year I used the online ordering option. It was smooth (just like the chocolate!) and easy. My mum was thrilled with her "lap full of chocolate".

On a recent trip to Hobart I discovered Federation Artisan Chocolate. I was greeted my the owner and manufacturer, Maurice, whose passion and care in his product were immediately apparent. This followed on when I delightedly discovered that I could order more of the delicious produce online. Maurice was helpful, courteous and efficient in his dispatch. I am already halfway through this batch and look forward to enjoying many more. Hopefully they will be stocked locally soon but if not it was definitely worth the postage.
We first found Federation Artisan Chocolate whilst on vacation in Tasmania. Loved the factory and the very helpful staff working there. I am very excited many of the flavours are Gluten Free. Ordering on line is simple and straight forward and everything went smoothly. The order arrived faster than expected. Thank you

A nice selection of different chocolates, and I am looking forward to trying more of those that came in a large order delivered only a few days ago, the couple I have tried so far I've been excellent. The honey crunch is delightfully and deliciously decadent, especially with a glass of cognac.
Now this is the chocolate shop to go to. It even caters for gluten free people. There is free tasting. Deals if you buy more than 1 block. Oh and the service from the lovely young girl today was fantastic.
Enjoyed chocolates I have tried so far. The choc honeycomb was a good product but maybe not for someone who grew up with bee hives... I found it too sweet for my crazy palate and ratio of choc to honeycomb was not right for me. Would have preferred smaller honeycomb pieces covered in choc. Moral of the story my fault for not examine and trusting picture. So far have tried two single choc balls... yummy and walnut choc... enjoyable but more walnuts would have excited me more.
The remainder sits in my fridge waiting for indulgent moments to arise.
When do we get more of the single box Chocolates?

Absolutely wonderful chocolates, smooth and delicious, artful and enticing. All that is good. My hesitancy comes with the packaging. Not much in the way of recycling. Less non recyclable packaging would boost the products image in my opinion. Fully compostable should not be hard to achieve, and may also mean the product cost might be lowered.

Your comment of packaging is an interesting one. We are always looking at improving our foot print on the world, im so glad that its important yo you too. Its one of the reasons why We source cacao direct from Farmers who have a real connection to their land and in most cases grow their cocoa on family farms and sustainable ways. This is where the effort of our work is really important and where great expense goes to. Paying up to 10 times more for cocoa then 95% of the rest of the world ensures our farmers, their famies and communities can thrive not just survive.
We are a small family business and do the best we can, putting our cacao farmers first. I can assure you are are always on the look out for a "more" sustainable packaging which is cost effective, is food safe, allows us to have the expected shelf life and can assist us to distribute our chocolate around the world. Its truly a balancing act in these extremely trying times.

Still waiting to receive the order due to delays in the Australia post system in Victoria. No reflection on Federation chocolate at all. The package has apparently been sitting at a mail centre in Melbourne since 5 November.
The choccy was delivered promptly and in good condition (which was a Christmas miracle considering the heat we have in Sydney in summer).
Unfortunately it missed the secret Santa gift it was supposed to go in due to timing but now has been re-gifted so didn't go to waste. Good product, easy to order, no fuss process - would recommend this Tassie coy. Thanks guys.

It greatly disappoints me that you did not enjoy the Honeycomb.
This is one of our biggest selling products and one that we usually get rave reviews about, so if you have had a bad experience with it I am terribly sorry.
As you can see by our other reviews below we rate very highly and as a small family business, one thing we pride ourselves on is our customer service. When something is wrong we make it right. Reaching out to us directly allows us to make sure that we give that great service so its a shame you have not contacted us directly and given us that chance to fix the issue but instead given us a one-star review. This type of review without allowing a small business to fix an issue can severely affect that business, especially in today's circumstance.
I hope you can enjoy the other 3 products your purchased from us. I have refunded the bags of Honeycomb.
