My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Additionally, their tracking system provides detailed updates, allowing customers to stay informed about their shipments' whereabouts. However, there are areas for improvement. FedEx's delivery reliability can be inconsistent, with some packages experiencing delays without clear explanations. Furthermore, customer service responsiveness can vary, with some representatives providing helpful assistance while others offer less-than-satisfactory support. Overall, while FedEx excels in speed, improvements in reliability and customer service would further enhance the delivery experience.
Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
FedEx is the worst delivery service that exist. When I tell you that I have had more than one horrible experience, I ABOLUTELY MEAN IT! FedEx dropped my first package off at someone else home, then told me it was because it didn't have a apartment number on it. Well if that was the case, why was it dropped off at someone else home? After 10 phone calls, a customer service rep said," Im not suppose to tell you this, but this is the address where your package was dropped off at". I wrote down the address, and went to that house and knocked on the door. A woman came to the door, and I asked her if she had my package, and she gave it to me. That was a very dangerous move, and I asked FED EX to go back and retrive it, but they refused and was very rude. The second time I ordered from Walmart, and they used FEDEX, which I did not know. They told me via email, and phone that I would be receiving my package on the 5th of December, then the 6th, them the 7th, and Now the 8th. I was also told that they were so backed up that they don't know when I would receive it. So I couldn't even plan to e home from work to receive it. Just a total nightmare! So if you order something, do not use FEDEX good luck.! I about to cancel my order altogether.
I usually order Fedex over UPS or USPS if possible. I've never had any issues with damaged packages or other complications.
I live in Lee, Florida an FedEx ALWAYS WITHOUT FELL never get my packages on time. Always texting me packages is going to be coming later & later & later. I pay for my packages to come sooner but, with out fell FedEx never can deliver.
To tell it like this, FedEx is to deliver my package in five days. I got a text that my package has been delayed & now it will be three more days. Two days later I got another text saying it will be another Four days before I will get my package. Three days later I got another text from FedEx it going to be another three days. This is now TEN DAYS LATER AFTER PAYING FOR IT TO BE DELIVERED IN FIVE!
This is not justed during winter!. I now ask retailers if they use FedEx. If they do I find another Retailer to get my stuff.
This is not the first time FedEx has done this. Seven times in a year alone FedEx has felled.
UPS has no problem getting my packages on time from anywhere.
FEDEX JUST CAN NOT DELIVER AT ALL, GET ANYONE ELSE. DON'T BY IN ON THEIR ADS AT ALL. FEDEX NEEDS TO CLOSES THEIR DOOR FOR EVER.

Terrible, terrible, terrible! Who's worse FedEx or the PO (who cares? I'm done shipping in the US of A.
Paid extra for a delivery window of 5-8pm for a signature required package. Was outside in my yard starting at 330, got a text saying my package was delayed shortly after. Call in and the driver claims they attempted delivery at 4pm but no answer. 1) 4 is not 5.2) Two of us and two dogs outside, no honk, no yell, no gate rattle, no truck in driveway or one of us would've heard it. 3) Delivery instructions clearly state to CALL upon arrival. First cs rep says to me just go get it at the depot. Lady, I live an hour from a depot so NO. Second "manager" tries the same thing... finally get her to acknowledge that even if the driver had followed instructions, delivery attempt was outside of the window. She then claims there is no way to get ahold of the driver, send them a message, or get ahold of the depot to reschedule and I'd just have to wait-I said that's untrue, she tells me "This line is recorded"... I said good! Glad to hear! Finally get her to transfer me to delivery dept, guy almost immediatly tells me they messaged the driver to deliver the package by 8pm so he had my transcript. So we literally wait outside until 8pm... surprise surprise no package. Call again and get told AGAIN to just go get it myself. Currently am waiting for the depot to open so I can try to get them directly and get it redelivered. Oh, and it's Fedex Express and cost me $65 to ship. This after weeks of boxes being thrown 20 feet down driveway, driver laughing at people as he is tossing tires at them, boxes being found by the side of the road miles away from delivery spots, and every one of my packages not being delivered in less than 2 weeks if at all. UPS can tell me my drivers name and shoe size and fedex can't even do a simple delivery. PLEASE stop shipping items to customers by fedex!
Ordered a part from Harbor Freight and the part on the first FedEx E-mail said going from Camarillo, CA to Ventura, CA (Southern CA), then to Tracy, CA (Northern CA). However, the item was delayed at the Tracy Distribution Center for three days when I called Customer Service for FedEx (I've had this delay several other times too). They said (after checking with Tracy) that it will be sent to Modesto, CA (Central CA where I live) and should be delivered by Monday, 28 Mar 2022.
HOWEVER, the following day after I spoke with FedEx Customer Service I receive an e-mail from FedEx stating that the package had arrived in SYRACUSE, NEW YORK (Ummm. That would be the east coast!) and delivery will be in another week (April 4th).
Called FedEx Cistomer service and they said that because of too many packages arriving at the distribution center they directed arriving packages to other centers... BUT NEW YORK when I live only 45 miles from Tracy, CA?
This is the third time I've had this problem with FedEx. Next time when I order parts I'll be sure to ask who delivers and if it is FedEx, then they lose my business as this is already costing me $$$$!
Tip for consumers:
Don't care about receiving parts or orders months after you order????
Then ship Federal Express . . . . GUARENTEED to screw you in the end!!!

Total lack of customer service, constant misdeliveries or lost deliveries and a system that is so inept it should be shut down. There is absolutely nothing good to say about this so-called delivery service. I always ask everything I buy online NOT to use this company but the usual reply is to pay for a signature service (which again is useless) or this is the only shipper they use. With all the terrible reviews this company garners it's amazing it is still in business.
I am not a complainer and have 100's of reviews at Amazon and eBay with over 98% all positive but I just cannot take the poor service FedEx believes it can get away with. I have used them for over 10 years or more and back in the day they were actually a great company but the last 3 plus years they have sunken to the bottom of the barrel. I had to stop purchasing from a couple of companies I love because they will only use FedEx and I am sure it is because of the low rates they must offer. (PLEASE CHEWY.COM change your delivery service, I miss purchasing from you.)
I believe in paying more for better service and also believe you get what you pay for. So FedEx must have gotten so bad they offer extremely low rates for companies to use them as their exclusive delivery service. But this will catch up to them and the companies that continue to offer this as their only shipping option.
I would have never thought to say this but the service at our governments' postal service has been outstanding. UPS has also been easy to use as well but in my opinion not as good as USPS.
I would be embarrassed to say I work for FedEx. The whole system needs to be overhauled including getting rid of the current management who feel treating the customers as inconveniences rather than their lifeblood.
The service of Fexed company is very good and providing every kind of facilities through the customers. So i love this company.
I ship a lot of stuff and use all of the big three in the USA (FedEx, UPS, USPS). I recently shipped a FedEx letter pack from PA to ME (standard overnight by 4:30pm). I looked up the rate online first and was expecting the cost to be in the $25 to $30 range. When I saw the actual charge on my credit card, I was billed almost $60... for a regular next afternoon small FedEx envelope. When I called to inquire why it was so much money, I was told that the rate I saw using the actual FedEx calculator on their website before I shipped was for a letter that weighed 8oz or less, and they said mine weighed 1.5lbs (I find that hard to believe as there were only eight sheets of paper in the envelope). The shipment was assessed 4 additional surcharges ("fuel" surcharge, residential delivery surcharge, a "zip code surcharge", plus the excess weight beyond 8oz charge). So a $28 envelope became a $57 envelope. None of these other fees/surcharges showed on my pre-delivery estimate. If you take the time to research how much a shipment will cost (on their own online calculator!) and it winds up costing literally double when you get the bill, what's the point of even having a rate calculator on your website? I guess their right to charge all those surcharges are buried in fine print somewhere but I didn't see it anywhere. I read contracts for a living so I know what I'm looking at. I will NEVER use FedEx for anything ever again. I hope someone from FedEx reads these... I'll repeat that... NEVER! This was a personal shipment but I have some influence over a $100K+ annual commercial shipping account, and I now have an appropriate picture of how this firm operates. Goodbye FedEx and other shippers beware when you "think" you know how much it's going to cost.
Had to mail a package from Fed Ex on McLaren Rd in Chantilly Va. On Tuesday August 18,2020. A gentleman came in and needed a large box for several small items he was mailing. The size he needed was behind a rope partition. After waiting 6 mins without anybody coming to ask "who's next" he helped himself to the box and packed up his items. He wasn't stealing the box just saving a step and not having to get back in line. And I actually agreed with him that it was "probably okay" to take the box.
A women comes from the back and helps me but suddenly sees he has a box that could only have cone from behind this rope... when she asks him he is honest and says he was just trying to save time. She proceeded with a rant that she was going to call security and have him arrested for trespassing by stepping behind the rope to get the box. She said Fed Ex was part of TSA and by now she's ready to call. I stepped in and said it was partly my fault cause I agreed that it was okay to take a box. She than said I would be arrested as well. We tried to apologize and said no one was here to ask for the box. She said she was helping another customer and we needed to be patient. We certainly were not trying to ruin her day. We again apologized and continued her rant. I turned to this gentleman in disbelief and could not believe we were being spoken to in this manner. We certainly know now that the rope is there for a reason and will NEVER cross that boundary again. But she could also have said: hey folks that rope is there for a reason.(we are all adults and would have agreed). We owned it right away. She would not let it go. I handed her my package and left. I waited outside for the gentleman but after five minutes I left. I think now I should have asked for a manager. It was unprofessional and very threatening. And clearly could have been handled so differently.
I was expecting a delivery of a package from a company order value of £839 on Wednesday 23rd November but FedEx sent me a message at 7.30pm stating that they attempted delivery which is a LIE!
I checked my CCTV and there was no sign of them...liars!
Probably they could not find us and gave up and returned back to Milton Keynes depot.
I then contact their customer support on Thursday as conveniently their telephone lines close at 6pm and it was like talking to idiots as they never listened to my concerns.
As I was talking to them I received an email from FedEx saying they are delivering the items today again up to 6pm...WRONG!
I receive a further email update stating that due to operational issues the £839 order cannot be delivered today!
I spoke to Rehan at FedEx customer support, again cannot understand them and them me as we got nowhere again.
This company should close as they are worse than Hermes/Evri and that's saying something.
I've told them to return the £839 order back to the company and they can explain to them why I am return8ng the packages!
I have also contacted the company telling them my frustration.
FedEx DONT CARE THAT YOU ARE WAITING AT HOME ALL DAY FOR THE DELIVERY TWICE!
As I write this I'm waiting for my package to arrive from the shipper. This has been the typical experience for me when buying a package through Walmart+. I'll order my product online, I'll get an estimated delivery date, usually two to three days after I order the package, and get a notification from Walmart telling me that it has been picked up and its on its way with a tracking number and occasionally a new arrival ETA telling me that the delivery is one or two days later.
The tracking number rarely works on the FedEx website, but I'm able to track it through the Walmart website. If I call FedEx using the tracking number provided the AI will give me the same ETA that Walmart provides to me along with a friendly note telling me that its on schedule to arrive on time. When it doesn't arrive on time and I call to ask about it I'll always be told to contact the shipper that sent the package, who always tells me to contact FedEx, the company they hired to ship it resulting in a huge runaround.
I live in a secured building so on a few occasions they have left the package in the main entryway of my building where the general public can see it resulting in incidents where the package has gotten stolen. Usually this isn't a huge deal, most of the products are inexpensive and most shippers will send a replacement but our local delivery driver has a security key to get all the way to my apartment door. I know this because packages on occasion packages have arrived at my apartment door and on occasion a driver will get onto the elevator with me, use his security key to get to the floor he needs to deliver his package on.
These guys should when an award for the slowest shipping company out there! USPS is way faster now than FedEx!
We were traveling in Ireland and my cell phone was damaged and we needed a new phone. We had our son purchase the phone and ship it via FedEx priority ($230). The package (new cell phone) reached Ireland only to get stuck in customs. We were tracking the package and immediately reached out to FedEx to find out what additional information was needed. We were actually only 20 minutes from the Shannon airport where the package was stuck. The FedEx customer desk was of no help, we were told we needed a Federal ID number. We explained that we are not a business perhaps they needed our passport information. Filed a claim and explained were were only there for another 8 days. Called every day and was given the same information by different reps. We asked for the customs phone number and were told there is no way to get a hold of customs. We found that odd and tried to google it and found nothing and also spoke to our Hotel personnell they told us the same (no way to contact customs).
The end result is FedEx never delivered the package. Still in customs and no one has yet to contact us for what ever information they need. The U.S. Fedex customer service line was of no help as well. We were told we needed to pay for return shipping and that we would not be reimbursed... We were also told if we did nothing and the package was left at it current location that it would go into their "lost and found" and I the customer would be billed for the return shipping... If I refuse to pay they would send it to a credit agency... Now that was just a wtf moment and the rep from the Revenue office was just "oh well" you should have done your homework on international shipping and should have known that sending a phone to Ireland was going to be an issue with customs and that we didn't provide all the information we were suppose to? Go figure the experts in shipping didn't ask us for the required information just took our money.
I will tell everyone I know to stay away from FedEx at all costs because if they loose your package the sender is and reciever are out of luck...
I recently purchased a new pogo stick for some leisurely fun from a retailer in the United States (shipping to Canada). Unfortunately FedEx was chosen as the carrier of my package. The original ETA was a week and it would arrive on Monday, so Monday rolls around and I receive a text 3 hours after the supposed "delivery" had been made saying they did it. Except they didn't. Of course this in an issue and I'm pretty puzzled. Then about half an hour after receiving the text I receive a voicemail saying my package is in holding at the storage facility since "the business was closed when delivery was attempted" (It wasn't). The online tracker as well says the package was signed for by C. Carson (not a single person works at the business with that name) and my FIRST name is Carson, like come on fedex. I then use fedex's nifty proof of delivery link which Shows a picture of the signature for the package and when I checked it was just a line. I call fedex the next day and give my information and my phone number so they can call me when the delivery person is near and I can come out of the building and grab it. The next day comes around and no delivery from fedex once again so I call and they tell me my local depot (which THEY called ME saying it has my package) hasn't even acknowledged they have my package (?) But I should get it soon. Next day rolls around (Thursday when expected delivery Monday) and I call again and this time the fedex service rep informs me they actually delivered it to the wrong person on Monday and have re-acquired it and I will receive it tomorrow now. At this point I am getting upset since I've been told for the last 3 days that they tried their little hearts out to deliver it but they couldn't because it was closed BUT they still had my package. Except they didn't. I was repeatedly directly lied to AND to top it all off when I asked if they have confirmed re-acquisition of my package he couldn't do that but said he's confident "I'll receive my package tomorrow". The absolute worst I have ever been treated by a company especially with them going out of their way to lie to me.

I would like to share some bad experiences as this is my first time using Fedex, firstly the prices are insanely high, so I expected a smooth and reliable service. I still proceed to schedule a pickup and proceed with the shipping details to confirm shipment.
There were no follow-ups nothing so we just waited and I decided to call FedEx Singapore to seek some assistance to understand the process better. I was told that someone from India would call to confirm the pickup. I was then sent the control number.
I tried to reach out to FedEx India but it was so hopeless that there were no chats or numbers available for calling. At about 3.45 pm (SGT), the sender received a call to ask about the pick-up, we were surprised that the person who called was not a representative of FedEx but instead a middle man of another courier company.
During the conversation, he asked if our address was in Zirakpur which was incorrect and our pick-up address clearly stated balongi which is in Chandigarh, the courier representative had the cheek to ask if we can drop the item off at Zirakpur. If you are not sure, Zirakpur is about 1 hour away. We refused, I paid so much for the shipping so why am I supposed to travel 1 hour away from the pickup place to deliver to someone who is NOT a FedEx representative?
After arguing back and forth, we asked him to show us the exact address that was stated in the system, and he manage to give us the correct address and then blamed the system gave the wrong details. He also proceed to mention that we selected multiple pickup dates when we had only scheduled for ONE on 30th July 2022. He kept insisting the system gave wrong info but how was he able to verbally tell us the correct address - nothing made sense.
After the phone call, we were told that someone will call and come by at 6 pm to collect the parcel. We are not sure what other issues will arise when they come to collect.
It was a very very stressful transaction, rest assured, I will not be using FedEx ever again for any deliveries. For the price paid the service was not smooth and not reliable at all.
I placed my order on thursday sept 29th, paid extra for express delivery(2 days) it's now october 4th.
Kept me informed of my pkg and tracking information. Had one question which was answered very quickly... Great experience with this company!
Their phone number is a fricking robot. They deliver WAY later than anticipated. Just get out of business already.
