My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Additionally, their tracking system provides detailed updates, allowing customers to stay informed about their shipments' whereabouts. However, there are areas for improvement. FedEx's delivery reliability can be inconsistent, with some packages experiencing delays without clear explanations. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
I will make it simple and short. If you don't have to, then NEVER make any shipments through fed ex because you will always come upon a PROBLEM with them. UPS AND USPS is so much better and responsible.

I was sent a £700 handmade guitar from South Africa to be delivered, according to FedEx, on Friday 23rd December. I was kept up-to-date and was notified that it had reached their Leyland depot. On the day before delivery, 22nd Dec, I was emailed to say the delivery was to be delayed to the 28th December. Which was fair enough.
However at the end of the 23rd of December, the original delivery date, I was emailed to say it had been delivered here at my address at 3.00pm. This is totally untrue. We work from home and were here the whole time.
I tried to double-check what had happened by contacting their support to be told that the driver had "tried" to deliver it but couldn't, (why?), and it was now in Leyland. Even though when you enter their tracking number it says it has been "delivered'.
So now, no £700 guitar and no sense whatsoever from FedEx as to where it is. I wouldn't trust them to deliver anything.
WHEN EVER I BUY ANYTHING ONLINE AND SEE FED X IS SHIPPING I KNOW RIGHT AWAY IM SCREWED. THEY NEVER FOLLOW THROUGH WITH ANY OF THE DELIVERY DATES. THEN YOU GET STUCK WITH THE VIRTUAL ASSISTANT WHICH IS USELESS. THEY HAVE A CRAPPY ATTITUDE. I WOULD NEVER USE FED X ON MY OWN. THE NEXT TIME I SEE FED X IS DELIVERING I WILL CANCEL MY ORDER AND TRY ELSE WHERE. FED X USED TO BE DEPENDABLE, BUT THESE DAYS THEY SUCK. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING FED X TO ANYONE. THE LAST ORDER I P[LACED WITH AMAZON, RIGHT AFTER I PLACED THE ORDER, I GOT A TEXT MESSAGE FROM FEDX SAYING MY DELIVERY IS BEING RESCHEDULED. THAT REAL BAD WHEN THEY NEED TO RESCHEDULE 3 MINUTES AFTER THE ORDER WAY PLACED. IF I COULD GIVE LESS THAN ONE STAR I WOULD.
Fedex tracking number **************. There is no signature required, yet fedex will not deliver the package because nobody is present at the office. I signed the door tag and asked the driver to leave the package, to no avail. They attempted to deliver on the 24th, 25th, 26,28th, and today, 29th of November. I spent 1.5 hours on the phone with customer service and I keep being promised that the package will be delivered tomorrow. I am literally at the end of my rope. I am definitely dealing with the dumbest company around. I will cancel my corporate account and choose UPS from now on!

EVERY time me or my husband have ordered anything online and had the items shipped with FedEx, they were delivered to our neighbors house! EVERY SINGLE TIME! I had called and talked with someone about it multiple times, and not once did anything ever get done!
Fedx has lost my package and have been giving me the runaround for 9 days I paid for express delivery and today 9 days later still keep being told tomorrow I filed a claim and still no word lol fedx has to my experience the absolute worst company I have ever delt with
I am a logistics professional and after experiencing service among major carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS), I can confidently state that FedEx is the worst carrier ever! It has already happened several times that they first provided inaccurate predictions in terms of the delivery time, and later kept delaying the actual delivery (one of my packages that was supposed to deliver on Monday is not even arrive on Friday). If you cannot provide some accurate prediction, then don't even provide such information because people hate to have their expectations raised and then broken.
Moreover, obviously, they had issues with identifying the address location (I provided correct address with the zip). But they mistook "Jacksonville FL" with "Jonesville NC". How on earth you can mistake the two (other than they both start with J in the names). And of course, that further delay my package.
Lastly, it is impossible for consumers to contact customer support (and even if you were put through, they can't solve any of your problem). I kept calling to their customer support regarding my packages and the bot kept telling me your package is in transit and then hanged up on me. As the carrier with the highest revenue in the world, FedEx is treating its customers so badly with empty promises and horrible customer service. Try to avoid this carrier at all cost or you might receive your package one month after it is shipped!
Jerk delivery guy showed up in the rain (so he knew), & left all 8 boxes in the rain rather than walk 10 feet & place them on the dry porch - NJ FedEx NEVER WOULD HAVE DONE THAT!

Fedex has not been responsive to our question why is our package sitting in Memphis since Wednesday? They promise to call yesterday by 5:00, no one called. This is unacceptable.

I was flying back from Europe, and my bag was lost. The airline sent it back via FedEx, and one of THEIR ex employees had broken into the office and stole my and many people's bags. Spent hours on costumer support, and they refused to take responsibility for one of THEIR employees stealing my bag. Lost around $2,000 of stuff and received no compincatitoon
I would love to tell the world how I feel about FedEx Freight, and they deserve it, but there are no words that are both printable and strong enough. They scheduled a delivery to my house. I waited for the driver all day. He didn't show up, call, or text - nothing. I talked to FedEx the next morning, and there was no apology, just "the driver couldn't make it, and we'd like to re-schedule". I didn't complain, just said okay. This time the driver showed. As a courtesy, I unloaded it with my skid-steer and forks, and didn't make them get it to the ground like they were paid to do. Everything was friendly between me and the driver. So, I'm thinking it's all over. Two months later, I get 3-page bill from FedEx Freight that has so many line items that I can't tell what the bill is for, but the bottom line is $148 due. The next morning I call the phone number on the bill, and am informed that it's a "re-delivery fee". What? Not only that, it can't be resolved by these folks; I need to call the local office (the Henderson location). But by the way, they're closed today and tomorrow. Merry Christmas!
My son‘s birthday I ordered him the only thing he wanted and the only thing he asked for. The supplier sent it via FedEx. The date was scheduled it was a sign for packaged special delivery fees the whole 9 yards. The driver never ever showed up to my house that day I even took a day off from work to make sure that it was signed for. It said it would be back to my home the next day but the driver never even came the first day. The same situation happened on day two and day three and I had to go pick up my Son‘s birthday gift from the actual FedEx facility because the driver refused to come to my home I own 12 acres of land and there was no reason for this person to not come in and make that delivery I waited out in my driveway an entire day all three days. Again once again purchase something else different supplier and again the same situation again! Got to drive to the facility tomorrow to go pick up my package that was paid for to be delivered to my home. I'm furious and when it's your kids birthday or graduation present and it's due on a specific day and the driver is just lazy and will not get out of the truck because it's at the end of his run and he's a contractor it's pathetic and my kid almost didn't get either one of the gifts because of this contracting driver the FedEx is hired! I'm sick and tired of the crappy service no stars at all. Sick of it and you get the runaround when you call the corporate number pathetic pathetic customer support pathetic I will never purchase anything again from another vendor that uses FedEx ever I refuse to ever use their service they suck!

Not by choice vendor sent my order through FedEx 2 different vendors two different shipments two different problems both times did not receive the product when they were to be here and scheduled to be at my home and the driver used an excuse saying that he no one was home when I was sitting in the driveway. The third day one of my orders was going to go back to the vendor because the driver was pathetic and my route was at the end of his shift and literally went back to FedEx without dropping off my product and having me sign once again it almost went back to the vendor and this was my son‘s birthday gift. I had to quickly drive up to FedEx to make sure that this didn’t take place because it will not come back on time for my sons birthday. I’m furious with a pathetic service I can’t believe how sicknesses if this was their kid or their family or they worked hard to receive something special or for someone they love this wouldn’t happen to them or they would be furious if it happened to them where is the customer service that I’m so sick of them I hate FedEx!!!
Packages were supposed to arrive Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I spent hours on the phone with people who speak very little english. Promised delivery on Monday. I took off work to be home to accept the delivery. They tried to deliver somewhere else where there was no one to sign. Took packages back to some facility hours away. Promised delivery today, Tuesday. I took off work again. Tracking says they didn't even try. Of the dozens of rude people I talked to, only one was kind and helpful. Customer service has put me through what can only be describe as absolute hell for 4 days. Astonishing that a company with this horrific service can remain in business.
2 out of 2 other deliveries in the past 5 years were almost as bad as this. I ask what they're going to do to make up the lost billable time and amounts I had to pay out of pocket. They said nothing. Promises to call me back that never happened. Promises to keep me updated that never happened. Promises to deliver day after day that can only be decribed as blatant lies. One rep tried to tell me I was always supposed to get it on Tuesday but I have 11 emails that say otherwise. Rep told me the place where the packages go out from doesn't have a phone. Google maps say closed to the public. Tomorrow is going to be another $0 income day. Current outcome, I've lost over $1,300 for items that cost $468.30. Seller won't reimburse me because this is all FedEx's fault.

They dont deliver to your door, only to your neighbor and the box will arrive extremely damaged. FedEX customer service is outsourced, and they often just hang up when you have a problem. I NEVER got a resolution to a missing amazon package, and the amazon seller just deleted my review and FEDEX never got back to me. What happens when I've finally had enough and assault either my neighbor or the FedEx driver? I bet customer service magically show up then. I also have a video of me opening my door, not seeing the package and walking to my neighbors house to find it, DAMAGED! I will continue to do this until either the cops get involved bc ive assaulted a driver and now some sort of resolution needs to be made or they just have me SIGN FOR THE FCKING PACKAGE whatever happened to that?

Not only can't they track my shipment after the change of couriers BUT they are refusing to communicate and despite their promise it is 8 plus days after the package leaves the new courier to Australia if I ever see it
Just called Fedex for a late package and the lady was rude and had an attitude with me. After that she gave me a very vague response and just shoved me off saying that your package would arrive next week with estimated specifics or time frame. The package was in god damn Alaska and was saying it would arrive today at 1pm so I already knew something was up then I get a email saying your package will come today even though thats literally impossible because I live in Texas?! It had shipped on the 11th and was supposed to come on the 14th then got delayed to the 17th and now I gotta wait longer because its friday and they dont deliver on weekends so thats another extra 2 days so the 20th. And thats not even guranteed since the lady on the phone gave me no specific time so it could be even farther. This was my first time ever ordering and will be my last. I hope y'all go out of business and become bankrupt. Go to hell

I don't know how or why they are still in business. Every package I ever get from them is either delivered wrong, late, or horrendous conditions. They are a joke of a delivery service.
Have two packages that has sat in the Southaven, MS sorting facility for over a week, no movement. Can't contact customer support, as the only thing that they have is a worthless virtual assistant that doesn't even respond - ZERO LIVE SUPPORT. I guess this is what you get when you pay for incompetent services and people in those services. The other impact, is that they are very pricey for their lousy services.
I paid $20 for overnight service on 2\19\21. In which my package was due to come to me on 2\22\21. Of course there was some inclement weather on Thursday and Friday and I was told by FedEx, the Memphis, TN was closed which is understandable. My package arrived to the Memphis, TN location, on 2\20\21. I checked the travel history. On the website it kept guaranteeing me that my package would still arrive to me in Knoxville, TN on 2\22\21, even the virtual assistant said it would still be delivered by 8 pm. After 9 pm on 2\22\21 The status changed to there is no delivery information available. I call FedEx today and they tell me my package is still sitting in a bin and they don't know when the package will be delivered. The website says delivery pending. Which is the worst service I have encountered. I am scheduled to move out of town this week and my package is still sitting, also there was no attempt to try and find the package, although I paid for overnight service, which appears to me as stealing my money for the the overnight service I paid for and it is somewhere in limbo. I am stuck and very disappointed in the service as I feel I should be due a refund. I understand about inclement weather but it is not my fault in trusting that I would still get excellent service from FedEx and did not

Once there is one major issue, fedex gives up on customer service, regardless of how much money you pay for delivery. They will not correct or try to resolve the issue. Customer and the website doesn't have a clue. Just horrible service
FedEx has to be the worst delivery service. I buy from the same place quite often and whenever packages come from their North Carolina warehouse, specifically Concord North Carolina it's ALWAYS late, not some of the time but ALL of the time. Packages scheduled for delivery on a Wednesday don't arrive until Saturday. Packages scheduled for Saturday don't come until the following Thursday. I truly hate FedEx.

They don't do background checks. They don't know wtf is a business day vs a weekend. I press 1 for English and end up on the phone with Aladdin. App sucky af! Put a vacation hold for my packages and all my packages ended up being returned to sender. Last but lot least this company ruined my Bachelors degree graduation cuz one of those packages was my cap and gown! Couldn't graduate! Could you imagine studying your $#*! off for 4 years to make your parents proud and you can't even ask across the stage now SMH!
