My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!

I am writing because of a situation with FedEx I feel needs to be heard. We paid $186.65 for a 2 day delivery from California to North Carolina on 7/27/2021. The package arrived 7 days after we mailed the package and missed our client's event that was scheduled for 8/1/2021. We are unable to charge the client for the contents of the package and are now out the $100 plus shipping of $186.65 for a total of $286.65. We called customer service today and were not helped in any way whatsoever. I spoke with Kathy at RCAT who told us, "Sorry, nothing we can do. Go back to the Postal Annex and see what they can do." I explained to Kathy that our client has spoken with 3 managers at FedEx who discovered an employee was marking the delivery as business closed no delivery attempt... despite the address being a residential location. Kathy at RCAT refused to provide me with her last name and when I requested to speak with her manager she claims there is no one higher to speak with. This is completely unacceptable behavior, horrible customer service, and an example of a major global entity not caring for their customer base. Judging by the other comments and reviews I've seen on here, it is apparent FedEx really does not care about their customers. We hope FedEx will make this right on all ends.

This worthless company has not only repeatedly failed to do their job but literally scanned a 2nd package of mine as FINAL ATTEMPT RETURN TO SENDER claiming 5 days of attempting a delivery while getting out of their van, walking to the front porch & HANDING ME ANOTHER package sent by another sender AT THE SAME MOMENT they tried claiming I was not home while then continuing with a complaint assuring me it would be taking care of to still return the package back to sender, SPECTRUM who also failed to do their job and expect me now to pay a 2nd time or wait for an order I already sat waiting a week for to be returned, against my wishes, refunded and then REORDER THE PHONE! SC** YOU BOTH

Thes IDIOTS sent my parcel to the wrong city. They got it off of a plane, put it on truck, and sent it to a city 100k north of me, driving right by my house on the way. But can I tell them this? No way. Not a snoball's chance in H E double toothpicks of talking to a human being when you call them. Becuase FedEX effed up isn't one of their menu options. Wonder how long it will take them to fix. I sure hope my shipper will consider changing compaines. I would never use them if I had a choice.
Fed-ex'd a "large check" from Canada to Florida. Used Fedex as l thought it would be safer than mail. Was l wrong. NEVER USE THEM - THEY ARE AWFUL. Person in Florida l was sending to works from home full time - after l told him l sent Fedex he said, never use them - they say they try to deliver but they don't even drive here. They do this 3 times and then drop off at local Fedex shipping point to be picked up. I guess they are saving on gas that way. L wanted my shipment signed for by receipient. When he went to pick up it had already been picked up by someone else. You are supposed to have ID and tracking # to pick up. Person who picked had a name other than my receipient. Bottom line is that the West Palm beach outlet drivers do not drive to your place to try to deliver. Depot they drop off at releases package without asking for ID. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN - SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME. My receipient in Florida tells me to use UPS next time - they will deliver to your home.
You pay for the express delivery but oh sorry they are never able to deliver your packages on time. It's always delayed regardless it's a holiday season or not and then the answer you get from customer service is " sorry we can't anything at the moment" so when can you? WORST WORST AND JUST WORSTT!
WAY TOO EXPENSIVE therefore it is not a cost-effective shipping method for small to mid-sized businesses. It alright if you are shipping small items but if you are shipping a large item such as a bike or desktop computer, iMac... etc it is by no means a practical option.
Best alternative would be definitely UPS Express or DHL ocean/air freight.
I ordered on the 26th. From Albuquerque to Alabama. Package get delayed. Okay cool I give them the benefit of a doubt since they have to go on a route that has very bad weather. Next day. I'm sitting here waiting. My Package is 1hr and 25min from me. Tell me why my package get shipped out 3hrs away from me and then they hit me with a reschedule until tomorrow. I had ordered for some items of mine to be shipped from the UK to Finland. I regularly kept getting updates regarding it's whereabouts until it arrived for clearance in Helsinki. From the seventh of December, it has been awaiting customer clearance for nearly two weeks now despite the fact I filled in all the paperwork necessary for delivery. The estimate arrival date is non-existent and now according to FEDX ENGLAND both items are in Finland and yet FEDX FI say that one of them still remains in the UK. There apparently is an investigation in regards to it's location but I believe they are doing f**k all!
Delivery was sent back to the service center despite it being claimed it was on the delivery truck at 8am (latest delivery is 8pm).

It is now 7 days late. I try to call but the recording you have to give your tracking # to does not understand tracking # I said it and and 2 different phones to put the number in still no luck and until it understand your tracking # you can't speak to a real person. This is not the 1st time this has happen with Fed x. This company is a big joke if you order something and Fed x delivers it good luck getting it. Good thing I didn't use over night express.
I was supposedly sent a replacement computer from Dell, under warranty.
I say "supposedly" because I never received a replacement. I got a proof-of-delivery receipt from FedEx, showing a box at somewhere that was obviously not my house. I reached out to FedEx, who acknowledged they delivered to the wrong address. They even provided me with the address where it was actually delivered. However, FedEx submitted a false delivery statement to Dell saying it WAS delivered to my address, which began months of runaround from both sides.
Dell refused to file a lost-delivery report with FedEx and FedEx refused to submit a corrected delivery statement to Dell, and each refused to remedy the situation with me or in any way contact each other. FedEx rejected my personal claim, stating their contract with Dell expressly requires them to deal with Dell on any delivery-related claims. And while they told me on the phone where the package was actually delivered, they refused to put it in writing for me.
If it sounds like a complete scam to you, it's because it is.
I can't choose the shipper other people use when sending to me, but I guarantee I'll never voluntarily choose FedEx, not after this experience.
The first photo is my house and clearly shows my front door. The house color is distinctive, we don't have a screen door, and there's not a tree (nor even a stump) in the front yard. The second photo is the FedEx "proof of delivery": different house color, screen door, and the clear shadows of tree branches.

Fedex give leasts importance to the customers and the packages how much ever the value of the items are. I talked to more than 10 agents and all gave me wrong informations and deviated me to different locations. I still didn't receive the item. Agents were not helpful and gave least importance to my problem. Worst customer service i ever experienced. They said the policy doesn't allow me to pickup the item from fedex but they only deliver to my home. But i am leaving out of town on monday and will be back only after 20 days. The item is 1400$ worth and they saying i have to leave it and travel. It was fedex who is responsible for delivering on time but did not. Now i am facing the consequences and agents are rude and doesn't solve my problem. My sender (at&t) contacted fedex as well. Even they said to fedex its not customer friendly and not helpful. If fedex is responsible for something, then why fedex put customers into trouble. If there is a chance, people prefer usps or ups or other services but not fedex. Even my friends and colleagues said the same about your poor customer support and mentality towards our problems.
I have all of my deliveries set up in their Manager system to be delivered at my front door. If the boxes are small enough or if they're envelopes, they usually are. If they're big, they're left in my driveway, which is a fair piece away from my front door (and I get an email saying my package has been "left at my front door"). I've called several times to complain--you cannot write them or email them at all which is frustrating. Calling makes no difference. Today I wrestled an 80-pound box to my front door. NOTHING HELPS. If anyone has any advice, I'd love some. IF I go to a FedEx store to MAIL something, everything's great. I just can't get them to do what I am LITERALLY SIGNED UP FOR THEM TO DO. If I could choose a different delivery service for things I order I would, but I'm stuck.
From now on if I see that a package will be "delivered" via FedEx, I will not purchase from that seller. They don't seem to think that street names are relevant, so long as the numbers jive

I'm having an issue with a FedEx who text me whilst on my way to work this morning to say they were delivering an item today - an item which I asked not to be delivered today and which yesterday they confirmed would not be. They don't have a telephone number for customer service so I opened a 'live chat' with 'Christopher' on their website BEFORE 9am. Once I sent my name, address, phone number and details of what the problem with the delivery was (he requested this information at the beginning of our live messaging chat) I HEARD NOTHING ELSE FROM HIM! It's been over 5 hours since I opened this chat and although I've messaged regularly through this time, I'm still waiting for a reply! I will complain to the company who hired them for their deliveries now as I won't order anything from that company again for fear of the same horrendous experience with FedEx customer services

As stated in the title, I will never shop with anyone who uses FedEx as their delivery service/carrier. They have been consistently unreliable, employ and tolerate drivers who flat out lie about delivering packages. It's happen to me on 2 seperate situation, the first time the driver stated 4 times, on 4 separate days, that he came to my address and either no one was home or he couldn't find the address, despite other FedEx trucks making deliveries to the building where I live (a totally peaceful area). Today I sat in my open window working while waiting for them, when all of a sudden I received a text message saying that my package had been delivered. I immediately got them on the phone and was told that I have to wait 48 hours for an investigation to be conducted. Although I had 1 successful delivery prior to that one, 1 of 3 that is, I sorta anticipated this happening. I might add that I've never experienced this type of service, or the lack of with UPS or USPS... In fact, UPS will call you most of the time stating that they're at your door... Imagine that with FedEx!

My package is being held at the Fedex warehouse to artificially increase shipment times, because I didn't pay for a more express shipment. I have called their customer service to verify this, and they did verify that even though the package was only a few miles from my house, I could neither pick it up today, or have fedex deliver it for the next 3 days. This seems like an incredibly stupid decision as this package will eventually be put on a truck to be delivered, but Fedex has artificially increased shipping times, to make their "faster shipping seem better. They might get away with it on smaller items, but this was a $500+ purchase that I paid for the second best shipping option, and as such I hoped to receive this soon, but in the end it will take 6 day (for an upcharge no less) when it could have been delivered in 2 days, which Amazon considers a free option. If using for business purposes this will enrage customers, and lose your buisness credibility in the meantime, for no real reason.
Fedex left an important package out in the rain at a completely different address than its intended destination.
This is not the first experience for a delivery on this route where the company appeared absolutely careless.
The item and box was damaged and completely soaked.
Contacting customer support is a headache so I am reviewing their service on other websites like this since they do not appear to care about reception and evidence of their service putting items in damage.
I in no way recommend anybody to use this shipping service. Unfortunately I could not choose and was stuck having an item delivered via fedex.
You are supposed to just accept it or understand that some companies today just don't have a care in the world for their customers and "that's just the way it is." but when you are ordering things that are important to you, and have things damaged and are left expecting the worse each time, it becomes so very discouraging.
Fedex has such a bad record of doing this and it is beyond irritating and unacceptable for them to screw up so often, to deliver items damaged, and to be a company that doesnt seem to give a care at all.
I have had orders from Walmart twice sent out. One of them got damaged in shipment never received it. Walmart Resent it and it come with half the order box was also damaged
I really hate fed ex to be honest I have bought several things through them and I have still not received my items it's been 2 months waiting on my packages. Truly suck.
