My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
Some online companies that I order from use FedEx as their delivery service. The drivers leave my packages in the lobby of my building. I have written instructions to please bring packages to my door. They don't have to knock, just leave the package at my apt door. I live in a building with 100 apartments and packages that are left in the foyer or in the lobby can be taken by another tenant. We live in an age of dishonest people so FedEx should make an effort to leave packages at the tenants apt door and not just drop it any where and run. UPS is just the opposite and the driver ALWAYS leaves my packages at my door. I sit on pins and needles waiting for FedEx to deliver packages. I have to keep checking the delivery status to see if it has been delivered. When I see that it has been delivered and it is not at my door, I have to run down ASAP to look for my package before someone else takes it. I have complained numerous times to FedEx in the lackadaisical way drivers deliver packages to no avail.
Driver insists on leaving package on my front porch instead of on the back, where it is discreet, plus there is a driveway where he can turn around at the back. Instead he WHIPS into my front yard, even after heavy rains, trenches it, SKIDDING to a stop and SPINNING back out. BIG truck and man, is he in a HURRY.
I've held for 1 HOUR and 17 MINUTES listening to FEDX non-stop music and good news and get-to-me-soon. Never answered. Online support is virtual and just tautological and takes you nowhere.

Fed ex sent me a photo of my package being sent, but it was sent to the wrong address. So they sent me a picture stating that I did receive my package, yet it was NOT my house.

I'm not suprised at all that FedEx has hot 93% bad review. I used their service a few times but every time was very disappointed. You should NEVER pay for 1 day delivery cause the item never was here within 1 day however they charged extra for that. I already did many complain through email and phone too but there was only excuses, never a satisfying answer, no refund, no appologise, no kindnesss at all. The customer advisor was extremely rude and the manager was very condescending. NOT RECOMMEND FEDEX AT ALL as they are very unreliable.
I already work for the postal service, and I thought it was just the local drivers but no apparently it's the entire company. This is my second package that is most likely going to get 'lost' that contains my debit cards for my checking account. I have gone without it for 21 days and it's getting ridiculous, and the lack of transparency for phone calls. The automated system refusing to connect you to a real person about questions like 'why was my package in my state then went right back to the original post office that it came from!?' This entire ordeal is getting out of hand over night, is OVER NIGHT! NOT 'LETS SEND IT 10 HOURS AWAY THEN TO YOUR STATE THEN BACK TO THE ORIGINAL ADDRESS AND HOLD THE PACKAGE ANOTHER DAY WHEN WE GOT IT TO YOUR SORTING FACTORY IN 2 HOURS!' At this point why spending the ridiculous price for over night shipping if your not going to get your package EXPIDITED!

No delivery, FEDEX from tracking stated they try the next day, No delivery, FEDEX stated this from a FEDEX actual person at a local FEDEX outlet to contact customer service but call him from my cell to avoid the department series of choices at FEDEX customer service.
He called and patched me through for which I still went through the gamut of choices and on hold to actually get a human being.
After struggling through the language barrier she started an investigation that ended with FEDEX would hold it at the distribution center where I could drive 80 pus miles round trip and approximately three hours in traffic to pick it up.
Then after another online search found away to have it delivered to a local FEDEX store.
They would contact when it arrived-it didn't! What a surprise!
As of late (three weeks now and hours research) nothing but an e-mail claiming it was delivered.
So apparently I'm out $108.00 and a rare antique steam engine.
FEDEX won't honor their failure. Not even close.
From what we have experienced from them in the past, that being packages hurled onto the deck, that's how we know there here from the thumping noise or silently launched on the
Ground in the rain.
Unhappy, disgruntled employees?
This company is in decline in many ways.
I will never use this service again nor shop with companies that do and inform them in kind.

I paid express shipping and after the item arrival to my country (it was a medical item for my ill mother) they want me to go to pick it up at the airport? Try to call them on the phone waiting for over 1 hour listening to the music and how "important are costumers fr them" and nobody answer the phone! NEVER AGAIN I WILL BUY FROM THIS PLACE,
I have a FedEx account where I supposedly can manage my delivery preferences. I written my delivery instructions in my a count where the delivery person is supposed to read them & follow those instructions. In the last 2 months I have had 2 deliveries & neither of those packages were delivered according to my instruction. Instead the guy leaves the packages in the entry way (I live in a secured building) that anyone can come in and steal the packages. We also have signage posted in that entryway that all packages have to be brought inside the building. And worse, 2 years ago FedEx lost my medications. I have filed complaints with a FedEx representative & supposedly someone is supposed to call me but that never happens. In the medications instance 8 months later I got a notice that they were delivered and signed for. But it was not my signature. In fact the person who signed for them does not live in this building. God knows who FedEx gave them to. It could have been a nefarious individual hoping that they were narcotics. Who knows? I will not ever do business again with a company that ships their product by FedEx. FedEx is very unreliable.
I often order things online, and I order them to my country, which is somewhere in the SEA region. Literally, every time I try to avoid using FedEx at all costs. But when I am left with no choice, it gets very frustrating. FedEx always takes some of the most horrendous routes to my country.
Recently a package to my country arrived in a neighboring country, which is literally touching my country. You'd expect it to go to my country right? But nope, it travels all the way to another country thousands of kilometers away. You'd think that that's a one-time thing, but this has happened multiple times, and it gets my blood boiling. I would have been fine with it if it had arrived on the date or the day after the estimated delivery, but NOPE again, ALL of my packages have arrived on average a week after the estimated delivery date. I also forgot to mention, ALL of my packages were shipped with the International Priority service, and this stuff happens.
Please, I beg of you, if you live in the SEA region, avoid FedEx at all costs, if you want premium, use DHL Express and avoid the dumpster fire that is FedEx.
My packages are sitting at my local FedEX this morning with a notification that they won't be delivered for six days! JHC, you could walk them over in that time frame.
This engine is costing me about$1500 a day that i don't have it, it shows that it delivered to the local hub at 12:21 AM on 5/3 but at 17:00 on 5/4 fed ex dispatch says they never recieved it in Springfield although the driver called in the AM on the 4th to schedule delivery.

This is quite possibly the worst company on the planet. EVERY package shipped to me through this company is late, sits in one place FOR DAYS, or is just never delivered. FEDEX is incapable of making their delivery times. These are not times or dates that the shipper sets, they are dates that FEDEX sets. They are NEVER on time and consistently DAYS late. I as a merchant would NEVER use FEDEX to ship anything to a customer, vendor or anyone else for that matter. Furthermore, If i know a company uses FEDEX to deliver, i am NOT inclined to do business with them.

On October 12th I received notice from Fedex that my international package (a jacket from FarFetch) was delivered to my address with a signature. It was never delivered to my home and the proof of signature shows a curved line rather than a name. I contacted FedEx on the same day of the supposed delivery to file a claim for an international shipment. I have since called both FedEx and the shipper (FarFetch) 6 times. On October 25th, I received a proof of delivery showing that the package was signed for and therefore they cannot refund my money ($202). I keep on explaining this situation to lots of different customer support people at both FedEx and the shipper (FarFetch) and they have not resolved this problem. USER OF FEDEX BEWARE! Attached is the supposed proof of delivery with the illegal signature from FedEx.

I buy car parts for customer cars that I'm working on through an outstanding company that I have been buying from for years. Unfortunately they got into a contract with fedex recently and within just a few months, fedex has either lost or delayed four separate packages. Each time was a time sensitive order that caused me to lose money and inconvenienced my customers when they didn't arrive on time. This last one was the last straw for me—they lost $860 worth of parts. I'm usually a very patient and understanding person, but this is really starting to piss me off. This time around the tracking said there was a weather delay at a location only an hour and a half away and it is currently sunny and dry. Bullcrap. The day after it was supposed to be delivered I called and they said they would make it a priority and it would arrive that night. It did not. Two days after it was supposed to be delivered it still said delivery pending. I called again and they said they would make it a priority and open a case and as soon as they located it, it would be delivered. OH SO YOU LOST IT. Why didn't they just say so in the tracking from the beginning and open a case immediately? Why did they lie to me and say it was a weather delay? Why did they not notice or open a case for me when it was a day late? Why does this company suck so much? Stay away. Don't give them a dime. This company deserves nothing but bankruptcy.

If you want to talk to a live person, call the automated system, say “something else” when it asks what to help with. Then let it read through the options and say “more options,”then when it reads those options, say “even more options,” then when it reads through those options, say “something else,” and then finally it will ask for the tracking number, but don’t say anything, and it will finally connect you with a live person. But even the customer service agents have no clue what’s going on.

Been trying to pay duties for 3 days so I can recieve my package but their system is down and everything I call the agents can't understand me and get my info correct so my payment won't go thru. At this point I guess they are just gonna return my package to sender and cost me alot of money. Never again will I ship with fed ex or purchase from a store that uses them as their shipping partner. Tracking #*******392 Supposed to get it on 1/20/22. On 1/22/22 the package arrived in Seattle, 12 minutes from where I live. Today is 1/25/22 and I still have not received the package. It has been going around town thou according to the history. Last history below, it's been in transit at the same city for 24 hrs. This city is 10 minutes from my address. JUST WOW! NO CREDIBILITY!

Terrible service, firstly they could never help me with keeping a package in an office, secondly they only left it at home even knowing that I moved from place, third the company does not serve in the telephone service, and to finish with FEDEX, they are inept to attend and in its application it does what they want, they have withheld a package that I have been asking for and that according to they are going to deliver it and the truth is I have not even received it, terrible service
I sent a important document by FedEx express mail they said it will deliver in 3 days and I chose FedEx they told me it will go to destination in 3 days but it took 2 weeks still in transit when I contacted customer service they tell me always delays due to bad weather but it only effects to FedEx one of my friend send the document to same destination using other corridor service it gone in 5 days I'm really got worse experience I never use again FedEx also I asked them to send a email what was the reason because I really want to submit my documents to immigration but they never sent it to me service really worst
Let me start off by saying that I work in the shipping industry. I work for a very well known LTL Freight company so I am very familiar with all of the issues involving delivery services right now. What I don't understand is how FedEx can show my package our for delivery on a truck for 7 days ans still never deliver. I called customer service yesterday and after being on the phone for over an hour saying customer service over and over again to the stupid automated system I was finally able to speak with someone. The guy that I talked to was a complete moron. I explained the situation and all he kept repeating over and over again was I'm sorry please reach out to your shipper and have them call us. We'll I did that for 3 days in a row and FedEx kept assuring my shipper that the shipment was out for delivery that day. Because every day the package shows out for delivery the shipper is not willing to refund me or send me a replacement because they are only seeing what FedEx is showing that its out for delivery. So it looks like I'm out money and my product. Not sure where to go from here.
FedEx said they delivered my package but I was home and outside all day the day they said it was delivered it never showed up and you can't get a hold of a human when you try to call it's only a computer FedEx is a joke I hate them they stole stuff from me and the sad thing is they just don't care

Twice this week I have stayed home waiting for 2 IMPORTANT PACKAGES that I paid top dollar to have delivered as priority. Twice I received a text message saying "they attempted to deliver". & they didn't (as I was home both times). They are the worst freight company I have ever used. I was sent a parcel from Ukraine by fedex, but she was stuck in a memphis and no one can help me. I called them about a dozen times, but they can not figure out what's wrong
Now they refuse to do anything about it and keep closing my case. Going forward I will not utilize them for my own shipping needs. I will also try to avoid companies the use them to ship.
I just had a very bad experience with FedEx express delivery service. They hadn't only late delivery of my parcel, but also broken some of my goods, although the sticker of fragile was there.

Bought a cat tree on May 11th. Fed Ex received it May 13 and promised me delivery by end of day May 21st. At 4pm on May 21 Fed Ex emailed me to say that delivery was expected May 26. Called Fed Ex and they told me Wayfair just got them the package that day. When I told them it was actually May 13 in California that they received it and it had made its way to Canada on May 18 yet, the manager said she was also aware they had it since monday the 18th in BC. But that it was easier to lie to me and say they just received it. I inquired with both Fed Ex and Wayfair to see if its possible that Fed Ex not get paid for this delivery by canceling the order or reordering it again but was told no. I will simply not use Fed Ex again.
