My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Additionally, their tracking system provides detailed updates, allowing customers to stay informed about their shipments' whereabouts. However, there are areas for improvement. FedEx's delivery reliability can be inconsistent, with some packages experiencing delays without clear explanations. Furthermore, customer service responsiveness can vary, with some representatives providing helpful assistance while others offer less-than-satisfactory support. Overall, while FedEx excels in speed, improvements in reliability and customer service would further enhance the delivery experience.
Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
FEDEX IS TERRIBLE! They lie about price and OVERCHARGE! I shipped a package and paid $45 for shipping. Later, I was charged an ADDITIONAL $82.60 after the order was delivered. I called to ask what was going on and they said additional fees incur AFTER delivery depending on weight and dimensions of the box. Which is hypocrisy because I gave them weight AND Dimensions of the box PRIOR to shipping. Isn't that the whole point? I've NEVER had a problem with USPS or UPS. With USPS or UPS you just give them the dimensions and weight, and you pay for that up front. There are NEVER hidden fees. If it was a few extra dollars fine but they charged me over $82.60 in ADDITIONAL fees! MONEY LEECHERS~~~~! TERRIBLE!
Had to call because put down address was wrong. The people on the other end handled it very professionally and was very nice. Was not scared or mad. Great service!
The estimated delivery date changed every day and when the package finally arrived it looked like they had run it over and the antique wood carving was smashed into splinters
Walmart returned an item for me via FEDEX using their FEDEX label printer. I followed up the next couple of days and FEDEX response was tracking # error. But how could that be when the Walmart FEDEX printer was responsible for the tracking number. It's been a week now and no sign of the package. FEDEX apparently lost the package.
Not once, not twice, not thrice but numerous times Fedex drivers can not my find my address!
There is no way to contact, email or phone them.
Epitome of stupidity!
If you want your packages on time and without a lot of BS from their customer service which does not know a thing because the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing just use USPS. FedEx at best stinks and you can NOT trust whatever their customer service tells you.
You've delivered my packages to unknown locations. Giving my Name & Address to a STRANGER in todays society.
Someone in my apartment complex would go out and meet the fedex truck and say they were me ~ then walked off with 3 of my Christmas presents for my Grand Babies.
Now you've FIRED the INNOCENT Black Man that those racist tried to UNALIVE. UNACCEPTABLE. I'm 100% certain his Mind still has TURMOIL from such a Frightening situation…
What if it was your Loved One being Pew Pewed at…
No Compassion, No Concern, No Humanity at fedex…

You can tell the quality of a company by how well they handle mistakes in the case of FedEx, there is more mishandling.
Some time after ordering a package worth $2,000 with instructions for signed delivery only, I received a notification that it was delivered and signed for by me. While customer support explained they dont require IDs and the signature may not necessarily match mine NO ONE was at home that the delivery was made. All my demands to see the signature were ignored.
Although I immediately filed a complaint, I received no updates on the investigation. Now, three weeks later, I was told too much time has passed. Then, a representative read aloud the delivery notes, which stated a bald black man signed for this package Needless to say, I am a Caucasian Russian with curly hair. They keep repeating they trust their deliveryperson, though. I wouldnt.
Given their complete lack of regard for customers and inability to admit mistakes, I would discourage anyone from using this companys services.
Very poor company, My order was cancelled with no reason provided as to why, Cos me $20 in forien currency conversion fees on my card. Which wasn't refunded,
There is no option to give 0 stars, so I have to give 1 star - I got home last night to find a document delivered to my home but which was not meant for me
The door number on the form could be 12, 17, 72
The postcode is printed onto a Fedex sticker on the package, and if they had focused on that, the package would have been correctly delivered on time
I now have the choice of binning the document (which I won't) or making the time to redeliver the package to one of the properties above
Sadly, the sender would have paid a premium amount for the express deliver of their package - only for it to be DELIVERED TO THE WRONG ADDRESS
(I've just used the postcode to identify the correct address and will drop it off later)

3rd time I pay expedite shipping and comes late. Iam done with this company whats even worse is say online that's its on its way so you stay home all day to get nothing
It took them more than 12 hours to get from
Chicago to ashwaubenon wi, which is actually more north than where I leave and made my packaged delayed by 2 days! WTF could you guys possibly be doing
Been having problems with FedEx delivery people who will not follow simple delivery instructions. My FedEx Delivery Manager provides instructions to deliver to my front door because I am handicapped. The local delivery office is aware of this, but their drivers could care less. After a BBB complaint in January, I was assured by customer service that it had been taken care of and would no longer be a problem. Package today says delivered in tracking, but it's not here. Online chat customer rep said I should go out and hunt for it. Um no, that's not acceptable. They kept asking for the same info over and over, and then just disconnected with no warning. VERY unprofessional. In January I tried calling them. That was even worse... extremely rude. Now I warn every vendor I work with to avoid FedEx at all costs. Just isn't worth the hassle. I kept a transcript of the chat exchange which I will add to my current BBB complaint. Likely to start a DOJ complaint as well for refusing an ADA accommodation. Delivering to my front door isn't complex or dangerous... as a matter of fact, it's much more secure to leave packages there than anywhere else on my 10 acres.
Typical of our terrible experiences with this very poorly managed shipper. But since they are the delivery firm the merchant uses, we reluctantly ordered. Based on prior experiences where driver simply drops off item and drives off or they often fail to let customer know there is a delivery, we instucted merchant at all costs NOT to require signature as no one available daytime. Merchant confirmed that. Well, got a tracking email said "attempted delivery" but no one available. On the call to customer serice, was told that's because there MUST be a signature or nothing could be done. They suggested a work-around, eventually, in an extended frustrating call: just "sign the delivery ticket" to say just drop off, - but no ticket was left. When we asked to talk to a supervisor, about his unsatisfactory answers agent "James" put on hold and then switched to a customer survey and then they hung up. Saved best for last: we since discovered that there never was a signature requirement for this after all. Wow. Oh, yeah, we still don't have the goods.
On April 6, I mailed a package (16 lbs, $402.63) to the hotel we were going to stay at in Amsterdam. I was told the package would be delivered on April 12, the day we were scheduled to arrive at the hotel. The package contained heavy items we were going to use on our trip but did not want to carry as we traveled. On April 10, I got an email saying my package was in Holland at customs and they needed a copy of my passport and an itemized list of what was in the package so it could clear customs as a tourist item. I immediately sent the requested information.
When we arrived the package was not there. The package did not come on April 13. On April 14 the package had still not arrived. I asked the hotel concierge to call Fedex and find out what the problem was. They connected with FedEx and learned that they were not able to open the attachments to my email. My problem was, why did they not immediately contact me and tell me there was a problem? I immediately sent another set of the attachments but that was on Friday, April 14. Unfortunately, FedEx in Amsterdam is closed on Saturday and Sunday. So nothing happened. On Monday, late in the morning I got an email from FedEx saying my package had been delivered. Unfortunately, the delivery was made three hours after we had checked out of the hotel and were at Schipol airport waiting for our flight back to the USA.
I wish FedEx would have let me know as soon as they found out that the attachments to my email couldn't be opened instead of waiting and doing nothing until I called them to see what the delay was.

I appreciate your service and know you and all delivery companies have been taking alot of heat. This is a busy time of year and more online buying makes it busier. Just wanted to let you know I appreciate all the hard work each of you put up with. Hope you can start sending around to your employees they have alot of support not just whiners. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR'S TO ALL OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILIES.
I had 2 separate packages delivered damaged, taped up, and broken. After the 1st complaint about a broken and damaged delivery, the north Tulsa driver falsified a claim stating they attempted to deliver a package when they did not. After making a second complaint, they delivered yet another damaged box that looked like they dropped in water then taped up. After not receiving a promised phone call within 48 hours, for either package, I spoke to a supervisor. She was rude and tried to discredit my claims of how the driver obviously damaged the 2nd package due to retaliation from the 1st complaint. The quality of service is horrible from not only the ground workers, but also the management. I don't know what type of credentials it takes to obtain a federal job, but it's obvious that they are scraping the very bottom of the barrel to find their employees. It's becoming more apparent that federal employees think they can do whatever they please with no penalty. And the simple fact that I can't speak to someone with a logical brain and the capability to handle real complaints, shows just how much FedEx lacks in all aspects of customer service. At this point I'd rather drive out of state for a package before having a FedEx employee deliver anything. 2 damaged packages in 1 week should be unacceptable by any federal employer, but not FedEx, they have very low standards for who they hire. I'd upload pictures but every time I attempt to add a photo, the system set up so that nothing will load because the file is "too big to upload".
Tip for consumers:
If you complain on a damaged package, prepare for retaliation because everything you have delivered after that is going to either be broken or not delivered at all.

None, everything FedEx delivers is always broken and damaged.
The vendor chose Fedex 'SmartPost' - I didn't. My package is being held up at the Fedex distribution center. Fedex 'Customer Service' advises me that I need to contact the Postal Service to retrieve my package from Fedex, instead of Fedex automatically handing it over to USPS. Moral: use the real smart post - the Postal Service - instead of paying Fedex to sit on your package.
Tip for consumers:
Use the Postal Service, not Fedex

Don't get your passport photos taken at a local FedEx Office. I paid an outrageous $18.50 – almost $20.00, for 2 crappy digital photos at my local FedEx Office (both of which are the same photo – 1 is normal, 1 is a cropped close -up). Walmart charges under $8.00 for 2 passport photos and has a dedicated photo booth. The FedEx Office had an employee with shaky hands holding a handheld camera who asked me to stand against a wall in a tiny crammed space between some computers and a copier. One of the pictures he took has half of a giant plaque in it that was on the wall next to me with instructions on how to use the copier. Then they added on a $2.50 fee for taking the picture…. A fee they made sure to keep secret the 3 times I called them on the phone and asked about passport photos and the entire time I was in the store before they took the picture. And this was the Manager of the store who pulled this scam/bait-and-swich - not some low-level employee. They used no resources – no printer, no paper, no toner, no nothing, and put the 1 picture – which I got 2 pictures out of (1 cropped close up and one normal picture), onto my own USB device. $18.50 for that?!?!? Walmart prints out 2 pictures for you on full color glossy photo paper for $8.00 out the door…. What a ripoff. I'll never go to the local FedEx Office for anything again.

DON'T USE FEDEX UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR PACKAGES DELAYED
I placed an order, I chose FedEx two day shipping. The seller of the item shipped it right away Monday morning 9 AM, I live five hours away from where the shipment was sent from. It's a package I have to sign for, first it said it will be here Tuesday OK great I used a personal day so I could stay home and sign for it. Tuesday comes then it says Wednesday, Great now I have to take another personal day. Here it is Wednesday, now it's not coming until tomorrow I have to take another damn personal day. This is ridiculous I paid extra for two day shipping, now it keeps getting pushed back later and later it's only five hours away how is it so difficult for FedEx to deliver a package one state away? I'm starting to really hate FedEx, I had the same problem with overnight shipping on another package last month. My package like I said it's only five hours away, each day it's only traveling like an hour and a half. Absolutely ridiculous not OK. I've had so many problems with FedEx, I have completely lost trust in them.

I'm in fedex at the moment
1. I'm in fedex at the moment. 1240 E Ontario Ave Suite 102, Corona, 4/4. Ryan is helping a cust with a flash drive. Fransico just got here and clocked in. All the people in line before me are complaining about the quoted prices. Went to the website and realized that Francisco gave himself 5 stars for the customer that Ryan is helping. Then I searched all over fedex website. Cannot find how to leave a review. So the fake reviews must be an accepted policy by FedEx Corporation. No way to leave a real customer review.
2. Francisco quoted Fri 12pm for $175 or 8pm for $150.4 different cards didn't work. Even after showing bank balance he said it maybe his pc so I had to get back in line for other register.
3. Elderly cust comes in with labeled packages. She ask if she can use machine to drop off packages, Ryan tells her only way to guarantee shipping today is to get in line. So what about all the customers that came before her and used the machine.
4. I got up to Daisy's register. She quotes me 10:30 $194 or 4:30 for $165. Francisco comes over and can't explain totally different prices and times going from 1 register to the next. No one can explain this.
5. Every time I come to this location the service is horrible and with the fake employee reviews I can understand why they don't care.
Thanks a lot for your excellent service fedex

I canceled my order online because FedEx won't send my package on time it's 3 days late. I am never going to order anything from this company ever again.
We have now twice had a situation where Fedex accepted an order and payment from a US based sender to deliver to us by air in French Polynesia when they KNEW AT THE TIME OF THE ORDERS that there was no air delivery possible and that the parcels would get stuck in New Zealand awaiting aggregation into a sea shipping delivery.
To add insult to injury, they then refused to entertain a refund request.
With their unparalled access to international delivery information, this is cycnical and immoral commercial behaviour.
Tip for consumers:
Do NOT rely on Fedex to not sell you a service that they know that they cannot deliver and do not expect a refund for their non-delivery
