My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
So I decided to send my girlfriend a package for Valentine's Day was supposed to be delivered on the 10th instead it's held in customs nobody contacting me I haven't gotten an email or an alert when I finally got in contact with somebody he told me it takes 24 hours the next person said it takes 3 days the other person gave me a fake number nobody is trying to help me but they would love to take my money how do you trust a company with your things you work hard for to get to loved ones trusting them that they would give you the respect to at least let you know what's going on it is now Valentine's Day and my love is without her gift FedEx did that to me so if you want to be terribly upset and deal with unprofessionalism then continue shipping with FedEx

FedEx's service is horrible. I dread it when I see that something I purchased online is going to be shipped via FedEx. I live in an apartment complex on the second floor and everytime the driver never brings the packages up to the second floor. Instead they'll leave them outside by the front entrance or at the bottom of the stairs. I don't have the time to sit and watch and wait for the delivery and leaving packages unattended in a common area isn't a good practice. I've had a few of them stolen because I wasn't home and they refuse to do their jobs. I found that leaving instructions on FedEx manager is useless because they don't follow them. Just yesterday I had my monthly delivery from Chewy delivered by FedEx and wouldn't you know it, they left it downstairs. I purchase pet supplies from Chewy to save me from hauling heavy items upstairs because I'm a disabled, retired senior citizen. I had to fight to get the package up the stairs. FedEx needs to get their act together. If UPS and Amazon delivery has no problem with quality service then what is wrong with FedEx?

If you see that a purchase is going to be shipped via FedEx then keep watch or have a close friend or neighbor watch or get the package for you.

Package is already delayed a week, and then they can't find my home 2 times, after explaining exactly where it is...still don't have my package, and cannot go to work as it is a part for my truck!
I called several times FedEx asking about my stolen items but with no response. They said they will investigate and call me back but with no response for more than one month.

And fedex delayed my 1-2 business day shipment for 2 weeks and is now sending my shipment back to the shipper without making any delivery attempts

The Fedex driver that delivers packages to my property for my residents is the WORST EVER! He is lazy and extremely disrespectful and his boss is even worse than him. Someone really needs to look into the Ground driver for Fedex that delivers to the ******* area. WORST EVER! I will never use FEDEX for anything else.
I don't normally leave reviews but my recent experience with FedEx cannot be overlooked. I ordered a swingset for my grandchildren. Came in 3 different boxes. 2 about 40 pounds each and one that was 134 pounds. The two small boxes came quickly and to the right address. The large box didn't come yet the FedEx and Walmart websites both said all three had been delivered. Then we got a message from a woman in a different town 30 miles away who said she had our box. Different town, different house number, different street, different zip code. How did that happen? Correct address was on the box. We couldn't go get it because we don't have a truck and it's too heavy for us. I called FedEx every day until they picked up the box from the wrong address. They never told us they picked it up; the lady called to say it had been retrieved. I called FedEx every day for 2 weeks asking when it would be delivered to the correct address. They kept saying it was on the truck. I finally called Walmart to say I wanted a refund, which they gave me right away because FedEx told them the package was lost. THEN I get a call from FedEx saying they had my package in their headquarter location which is over an hour away and wanted to know if I wanted to come pick it up because it was beyond their delivery weight limit! WHAT? They had already delivered it once to the wrong address?! I told them to send it back because I had already received a refund. Horrible Horrible Horrible. This was the headquarter location in Mansfield, Ohio. Maybe others are ok, but this one is not!

I recently ordered an exercise bike (weighing about 40 lbs) to be delivered by FEDEX, to recover from an injury since we are still in a pandemic and I don't feel safe going to the gym. I was VERY specific with delivery instructions. The driver not only ignored all of it, but left this package lying across the stairs of an apartment building. A complete HAZZARD FOR EVERYONE LIVING IN THE BUILDING. They then walked up the 15 stairs to my apartment and put a note that said "by mail box" (which is wasn't) on my door. I hurt my back badly trying to get this package off the stairs and up them. Had they had just left it downstairs someplace away from the stairs (which STILL would have ignored my instructions), I could have waited til I could get help but this was a HUGE safety hazard that I couldn't ignore. I will never use them again. LAZY LAZY LAZY. This is their JOB.
Customer service etiquette is friendly and professional; however, they seldom follow through rectifying driver errors, even after promising to fix oversights.
For instance, I recently purchased an exercise bike from Amazon. It's way too heavy for me to carry because I have a physical disability and cannot lift. I indicated my preferences on both Amazon and the FedEx app: "Please do not leave in apartment mailroom. Deliver to front door only. Chronic illness and cannot lift."
This direction was disregarded, so I called FedEx and they established a case and someone called me within a few days to assure me that the bike would get delivered where I instructed, my front door. Three weeks went by, and I see the FedEx truck dropping off packages in my community, but my package was never delivered.
I complained to Amazon, so they reordered the bike and explicitly asked the carrier to deliver it to my front door and not the mailroom. The bike arrived today. Guess where FedEx left it? Not at my door. Second bike I cannot retrieve due to driver negligence. If workers aren't willing to do their jobs correctly, they should be replaced with a more conscientious and competent worker.
I will not support any other shipping except straight from Amazon Prime; they're the only carrier that listens to the customer and every single package I order on Prime is delivered to my door. Thank you, Amazon. FedEx, take a hint. Follow their lead.
First package I ordered on January 17th from Amazon was sent through FedEx and when it got to the city I reside in. The package mysteriously disappeared so the company I ordered it from via Amazon resent it. This time when I got to my city of residence the package was delayed for a week I call led them with this complaint and they launched a investigation. The next day which was yesterday February 8th my packages came in but one of the boxes was open and the contents from the package was was not in the box it was supposed to come in. Some one had opened them and removed the contents and that's how it was delivered.
Today February 9th I called them about another package delay which the contents were perishable now I wasted money due to their ability to not keep up to their word on delivery time and this ultimately led to the manager by the name of Cathy in the billing department hanging up on me when I was describing what had happened and note I was note talking to her in any agressive tone. The customer service agent that goes by the name of Brandon lied to me about the current weather where the package was currently at. This is literally the worst shipping company to ever exist in the current times. They can not keep their word on delivery and their employees go unchecked and steal packages.
It is so shameful that Fedex has the most irresponsible delivery drivers in the whole world especially if you are in owings mills, maryland and expect your package delivered, the driver will tell all kinds of lies that wont make you get your package on the due date and even when you call the customer care number, they are so ignorant and highly unprofessional, they can not even help at all. It is so disheartening that such low class service is coming from Fedex, I never wanted to have anything to do with them again, I urge everyone in Maryland to stop using this courier service, they can get you frustrated with their poor service and untrained employee. They are no different if you go in store for service as little as photocopy, they always wear a very unhappy look as if they don't get paid for what they do. SHAME ON FEDEX, USPS is way better than yall.

I ordered a tablet from Samsung. The item was delayed twice by the manufacturer, so the final time, I did not track the package. I apparently received an email from the manufacturer the next morning saying the package was delivered the previous evening. I immediately called FedEx to let them know that I did not receive the package. They kept telling me it was delivered and I should go asked my neighbors. I had just gotten home when the package was supposedly delivered. They eventually said that info will be sent to the warehouse and investigate with the driver to find out what happened. After calling 4 days in a row, I was finally transferred to the warehouse where the manager told me nothing was sent over to the warehouse and they didnt know about a missing package. She also proceeded to say the driver has been doing that route for years and he didnt take the tablet. I told her that I didnt get it either. The driver did no deliver anything at my house. I was told the driver will not be in until a few days. It took almost a week to speak to the driver, who said he did not remember anything about the delivery. They gave me a run around after that. I had to get a police report and had the manufacturer file a claim. I have NEVER experienced this before. I'm not sure what's going on with FEDEX, but this I find to be very suspicious. I was even to told, " good luck finding your package". This was definitely the worse experience I've had with a courier service!
My roommate had a package delivered and the driver walk in no knock nothing I had just got out the shower and was Naked and he just stood there and I called to complain and the only thing thay say is he thought it was a business no he didn't and no apology or nothing I'm contacting my lawyer this is crazy the will give any one a job and I had to give a star

Thanks to your hideous service, we are canceling our subscription to Wild Alaskan Company for our monthly box of frozen fish. We hope Wild Alaskan Company will switch shipping carriers. When they do, we will resume our service. Until then they have lost our business. You simply don't care. Do you understand that the packages you are delivering are frozen fish? It isn't safe to eat when it reaches above 40 degrees. When a frozen fish shipment sits three extra days the dry ice it is packed in melts and the fish gets warm. Once again, our shipment was delivered 3 days late and placed in the hot sun. Please fire this driver. Clearly this person is doing this on purpose. This is our fifth delivery with the same result. The fish cannot be eaten. Maybe perhaps your whole company should go out of business because you simply don't care. To summary issues getting delivery from one vendor: 1. Two shipments were left at the street. See photo 2. The third shipment was delivered 1/2 way to the front porch, left in the sun, and delivered a day late. Wild Alaskan replaced it with shipment 4.3. Shipment 4 also was dropped off 1/2 way to the front porch in the sun. It was still frozen when we got it.
4. Shipment 5 shipped 7/1, and was to be delivered on 7/3. On 7/3 at 2:58pm local, it was logged as "delivery attempted" and returned to the FedEx shipping depot. It sat through 7/4. On 7/5, someone forgot to put it on the truck, so it sat in the depot. It was delivered on 7/6. Given the number of days since it was shipped, I have not opened it.
IF YOU'RE THINKING ABOUT USING FEDEX FOR YOUR DELIVERY, DON'T DO IT! THEY TELL YOU ONE PRICE OVER THE PHONE, ANOTHER IN PERSON AND THEN THEY TELL YOU THAT YOU DIDN'T ASK FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING WHEN YOUR PACKAGE DOESN'T ARRIVE. I WILL NEVER USE FEDEX AGAIN AND URGE OTHERS NOT TO AS WELL. I STOPPED USING FEDEX YEARS AGO FOR SIMILIAR PROBLEMS, BUT THIS BUYER WANTED ME TO USE THEM. I have to remind myself not to select FEDEX as my delivery services when delivery packages. FedEx service SUCKS they constantly change the date of your delivery. EVERY package I have paid for to get delivered have been DELAYED and rescheduled more than TWICE and I mean EVERY TIME I have paid for a delivery, no lie…. It just happened with my recent delivery and the one before that one and so on. I rather pay more money to use a different delivery services than FEDEX.
I was very nervous to purchase goods from overseas and was so happy that the items arrived quickly and all there when I opened the box - definitely recommended!
