My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
It never fails, if you are shipping or receiving anything with FedEx, you can expect problems EVERY. SINGLE. TIME! I have not had a single positive experience with these idiots that I can recall. The latest is expecting a package from an online retailer (unfortunately no option to NOT choose FedEx as the carrier, or I would have) which was supposed to arrive on November 26th, and up until that point, the tracking showed on time, having arrived at my local hub very early in the morning on the 26th. Well here it is December 5th, 10 days later, and the package is STILL sitting at the hub! Or at least that's what the tracking shows. Do they even have it? Did they ever ship anything at all? Nobody knows.
After calling the 1-800 number for customer support, all they can tell me is my best option is to contact the shipper and get a refund for the package. Wow. I wish I could build a business model to sell a service, collect money from customers and then just NOT deliver on the service I sold. That's quite a business model! Their profit margin must be insane.
I will use UPS and USPS EVERY TIME before EVER using FedEx. They have consistently been the worst shipper by a landslide. How they're even still in business is mind boggling.
Fedex is a compnay who lies to people and when is to late they pot it all on you- Fedex will never wonr you for any thing you send downtown metter safe or dangerous or fast to ship - all they want is charge you and drop it off. After you go through customs they pot all on you --

Customer service is a joke. Package never arrived at destination. Filed lost item claim, waited 2 weeks never heard anything. Called for update status and was told no proof of damage. I said my claim was for lost package. They said file again. Filed a second claim and waited3 nweeks and called back and was told to provide proof of cost of package contents. Done that and waited 3 more weeks and called back and was told package was signed for and they were told the signature did not belong to recipient I was told to get notorized signature of recipient. We are 8 hours apart. Nothing but a joke.
P.S. Item was signed for by some unknown person and delivered some where unknown. After 90 days I'M TIRED OF JUMPING THRU HOOPS. NEVER AN ISSUE WITH THE COMPTITION. Never will use again!.

Last month my shipment from chewy was supposed to be delivered in 1-3 days it took FedEx 9 days this month it arrives to the Waycross Ga FedEx building on Thursday he 23 ad put on the truck to be delivered on Friday at 4;27 am left to deliver but I didn't receive it went back to their building at 8;09 pm on Saturday why! Then they said it willbe delivered on Monday well it was but 2 cases of cat food was broken and cans everywhere what a mess if there is a delivery company that can contact chewy and work with them and deliver in the Ga aea please contact them because FedEx is not a reliable company

Looking at the overall score/rating of FedEx it looks like a lot of people have had similar experiences. My situation is I run a nonprofit where we ship international packages across the globe. The company we work with to help with the labels has a partnership with FedEx. I've had MANY difficulties working with them.
The most recent experience was I received a call from saying that they were going to return or destroy one of the packages that was being sent to a children's hospital overseas. During the voicemail they left a tracking number. I called FedEx back and fought my way through the automated responses to finally speak to someone then was transferred to the global department. When I provided them the tracking number they told me it was the wrong number so they couldn't help me.
Someone in the system had my phone number in their so they could call me and tell me there was an issue with a package, but somehow they were unable to find my information without a tracking number. Since we ship multiple packages a month to global nonprofits and there was no detail about which country it was coming from our package that was sent to a children's hospital may be destroyed.

Driver sent email that my packages were delivered, but they were not. No picture was taken as proof. I checked immediately after receiving email. NO PACKAGES. I have wasted days attempting to find them. Every rep says they will trace and call with info -WHAT A LIE! I've called for 3 days and still no one knows where they are. Hate their stupid suggestions- look in the bushes, check with neighbors -ITS NOT A SCAVNGER HUNT! Idiot remarks. HORRBILE SERVICE, TERRIBLE AUTOMATED SYSTEM. Tells you something when the company doesn't want you speak with anyone in your own country so you might be able to track for yourself what happened to your packatges! Federal Attorney General needs to go after the stealing this company does from its customers. Or maybe customers need to unit and put together a class action law suit against them

How aweful. My employer overnighted a package I needed to start a new job on a Friday. Come Monday night, a text said the driver arrived, but no one was at my house, so now I lost a week's pay and hope they actually try to redeliver tomorrow. CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY COULD NOT HELP. USE ANY OTHER COMPANY THAN FEDEX FOR IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS. UPS WORKS, FRDEX IS THE WORST.
Fed ex I swear is awful. People just don't care how much moñey you bought anything that they're delivering. I've lost a professional camera and never got a refund back f I'm fed ex, misplaced a couple of my daughter's medicine at a wrong doorstep, mis delivered 2 other packages don't know where it went and then they delivered my couch and left it by the downstairs step of the apartment complex. Like really people? What if I was to he at work all day today, the nerve of some people that work and deliver for fed ex. Like do your job properly. My boxes both shows my apartment number and correct address on it. Why can't they put it at the door? What so hard about the delivery noticed I sent out? What's wrong for calling for help if their reasoning was it because it was heavy? Like how stupid is that and inconsiderate. Im extremely disappointed with my recent experience with FedEx, and if there were a way to give them a zero-star review, I would. My frustration and anger have reached a boiling point as I write this post.
I am anticipating the delivery of a crucial package from Lagos to Atlanta, and it was supposed to be delivered by December 21st. However, as of January 2nd, my package is still stuck and delayed in France. The reason provided? A nonsensical operational delay that nobody at FedEx can explain to me.
Despite numerous calls and emails seeking clarification and assistance, I have received no response from FedEx. This lack of communication and the unexplained delays have caused significant inconvenience and stress, especially considering the time-sensitive nature of my package.
I expected a reliable and efficient service from FedEx, but this experience has left me thoroughly disappointed. I hope that by sharing my frustration, others can be aware of the potential challenges they might face with FedEx. I urge FedEx to take immediate action to rectify this situation and improve their communication with customers facing similar issues.

I paid for two overnight deliveries of fresh flowers. Your driver decided not to deliver, even though I can see his vehicle from my balcony. I had to pick up first delivery 9 hours later and it damaged half of the order.
Second day, second overnight express shipment, same thing. Although, not overnight like I paid for, but two nights later.
Driver doesn't attempt delivery. There is hello package room, 3 people in the office he could have asked about dropping off package and I was at home but no, he leaves.
Customer service said driver wouldn't communicate with me because he doesn't have work phone to call and let me know he is attempting delivery.
Seriously?
Customer service tried helping but can not track driver, doesn't know ETA, can not be sure if driver will come back or not. Message was sent to the driver to re-attempt delivery but that is all the info you get from customer support because they had exhausted all their other options. Are you f…kidding me?
I was literally sitting in front of my building for 4 hours in case your driver does decide not to deliver my flowers again. It wasn't enough that you were late for a whole day, that my package was time sensitive for Wedding on Friday but you had no real info about your own driver.
You weren't late when you charged me two times.

I have never had such an issue with having something delivered. It's said that people pay more for shipping through company's like FedEx. Yet usps ground mail is delivering way faster then anything fedex offers. This company is losing it. And I do not trust fedex with my packages anymore. Its been a week since it first shipped out and all I've gotten is delays and unknown where abouts of where the package actually is. This was my son's birthday present and he is late receiving it. I totally under weather and everything. So those of you reading don't think I don't. It's the fact that in a snow store our little mail trucks will deliver to every house across to nation. But fedex somehow is delayed. I dont get it. Any other company I have used to have shipments send to me. Has been reliable and always on time. I found it very weird also that my package hadn't been scanned in 2 days from the last arrived location I called. Because it still said it would arrive that day. I talked to them. They said they would trace it. So right after I called they put delay on the package yet after telling me it had to have still been at then location noted on the last scan. Not even 30mins later it says that it had been scanned out of that facility and arrived at another. The stuff their tracking system tells you dosent make sense. The people have no idea why these things happen. I just find it kind of convenient it only updated after I called. Im extremely disappointed with fedex in its whole. I will try not to use them ever again.

At 11:45 today, Saturday, August 6th, 2022, I flagged down a FedEx Driver, Truck Number *******, on Bay Harbour Road in Mooresville, NC. The driver tried to ignore me, but I was able to force him to stop. He was doing at least 45MPH in a neighborhood with a 25MPH speed limit where small children play outside. When he finally stopped, I told him he was going almost, if not twice the speed limit which he did not respond to other than stating, "I'm in a time crunch." I noted to the driver that the neighborhood had already had a dog killed and did not want that to happen to a child. He then rolled up his window constinuing to speed down the road and speeding out on exit.
Sent a package at Surf and Post in Pacific Beach. Shipping-Tracking Label was changed and the package was opened and our items removed and replaced after I left Surf and Post. They said the Fed-X driver changed the label and stole everything from me and replaced the family items with marajuana. We reported it to the police on the other end when we could not figure out where the package was. Police investigated and got nowhere with Fed-X. They said the Fed-X employees involved in this scam swap out your belongings with the marajuana or drugs and people are too scared to report it. Well we were not too scared to report it. Fed-X covered for the driver and the Fed-X Dowdy Drive distribution center staff in San Diego. Fed-X offered us a $100.00 for thousands of dollars worth of family historical photos and jewelry we can never replace. Employees at the Fed-X Dowdy Drive Distribution Center are still employed. Apparently the camera in the Fed-X truck and distribution center were down that day. Right! Beware when shipping with Fed-X from Pacific Beach and San Diego.

Really wondering if consumerAffairs has any deal with FedEx or not, but every time we write a review they wouldn't upload it until the company response for it. So we have choose sitejabber to post our review. We have processed complaints against FedEx numerous times and it is getting worse and worse. Just recently paid for a shipping and May 6th it shows will be delivering our package. (FedEx tracking Id: **************) May 7th says schedule delivery pending. Seriously, this has to be a joke. Called customer service, complained and guess what this time they don't even know 'Where my package is". Finally someone called and they said they apologize for the delay but we are trying to get your package ASAP. May 8th Still sitting in Memphis. Well, apology doesn't get my stuff and definitely lost lots of sales at our store. I think their customer service complaint is also a joke, like making feel like they are doing something, but actually they do not care for customer service at all. No refund, no answer and no responsibility, so now you decide if FedEx is worth of it or not!

FedEx use third party delivery company to ship all ground deliveries. That's why sometime they don't even know why the package is taking longer time. So they will make Covit-19 as an excuse for late deliveries. We have talked to delivery drivers, even they advice not to use FedEx!
