My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
Fedex SMARTPOST is a waste of time and money and does not belong in a society in which things are available to the consumer cheaply and efficiently. Having Fedex in the name is completely misleading to the american public and someone should bring a class action lawsuit up against them because of them spending years building up the name Fedex a being a fast delivery and bait and switching you into this crap.
Here's my story: my package shipped on 08/22/2017@ 8:47 pm from Henderson CO, via Fedex SMARTPOST. Fedex says it will take until 09/02/2017 to get to it's destination in GA, 1578 miles away (that is 12 days). Which means that my package is traveling at 5.23 miles per hour. How could it possibly be that slow. Is it on a camel? Is there someone walking it to me? I don't understand what the problem is. I was never informed that my Fedex Smartpost delivery was actual this slow prior to my order I feel completely tricked into this shipping option that I never would have chosen.
In the future I will now go completely out of my way to insure that any item that I have shipped to me IS NEVER SENT BY Fedex or Fedex SMARTPOST, I will warn all of my friends and family and I will post on every social media outlet that I can find how crappy this service is. If it is the only option I will have to do without, it does not deserve to be paid for.
And your customer service agents are obnoxious robots.
Package was delivered to a distribution site approximately 30 miles from my home only to be sent back to shipper because "unable to deliver". Address was verified and I have been home everyday since the package left the shipper. It was very difficult to speak to anyone in customer service. Once I did make contact with a person, there was no effort or sense of repsonsibilty on their part to track my package and deliver to my address. Their was no recognition that they were responsible for delivery at all. Their recommendation was that I conctact my shipper. The customer service representative would not escalate the situation to a superior even after I requested. Needless to say, I contacted my shipper, resolved the issue and will not allow Fed Ex on my property again. I write this after having simliar experience in the past. The company is not customer-focused. There is no indication that they are attempting to provide a a quailty service. Thier website is vague and they have created a cumbersome process to speak to anyone to get issues resolved. Poorly managed reagrding non-corporate customers.

I'm a loyal FedEx customer. Therefore I choose them to ship my boxes and luggage to Europe, but I'm so DISAPPOINTED with their service. My luggage containing all my clothing never made it to the end destination. The only information FedEx gave me about the whereabouts of my luggage is that they don't know where it is, that it's lost, and cannot do anything about it. Besides, FedEx made me feel foolish for using their service to ship luggage instead of a box since they are just capable of shipping boxes. So, why did you accept my luggage to be shipped in the first place?
Furthermore, FedEx declared items to German customs I don't possess. After submitting an objection form to the German customs, they explained that I have nothing to with this issue since I didn't fill out the customs form, it was FedEx who did it, and they are accountable for it. I tried to resolve the issue with FedEx since I don't want to pay customs for items I don't possess. All I got in response was a letter from the collection agency demanding to pay double of what the original bill was.
Overall, I had a very BAD experience with FedEx. Until this day, I'm still waiting to hear about my missing luggage, and know I have to pay for items I don't possess. I will NEVER use FedEx again. I'm so in sock about their MALPRACTICE. I will not recommend them anymore as I used to do. They lost a valuable customer, and if they don't change their MALPRACTICE, they will lose more customers.
I decided to order a base box from boxy charm for the first time ever! I don't have a lot of makeup and it seemed like a good idea! Mind you I order my package on May 2,2021. Well it said it could take up to 15 days to get to me! Finally I got tracking through fed ex and it said it would be here on May 17,2021 by end of day. I checked it again later that night because it had never arrive and the status got changed to pending well I called customer service every day until May 24th 2021 and no one could help me and most the time I got hung up on! Finally I got through to someone in corporate she said that they marked my package as lost although it still said pending on the website! So I emailed boxy charm to explain the problem! They promptly offered to send me a new box free of charge and said the contacted fed ex to see what happened! Well not even an hour later on May 26th 2021 I got a email from boxy charm saying that it will be delivered by end of day May 28th 2021! Well that's today and my fed ex tracking says it's still in transit! Well I called USPS and they said that there is no way it'll be here today like the fed ex website says! They said it'll take 2-3 more business days so now I've waited almost over a month for something I wanted to try that had great reviews! NEVER SHIPPING WITH FED EX EVER AGAIN!

3/4 of the packages I have delivered thru FedEx never makes it to my home. When I call and start a claim I am told someone will call you back with a resolution and I NEVER receive a call. I have required a signature and still didn't get my package. When I called about it they said I didn't request a signature for it to be delivered after I called and verified a signature be required to be delivered. The final 2 straws are last week FedEx lost a 3500 dollar check sent to me via express overnight delivery, and when I called about it they argued with me about not receiving it. This week it's a ******* dollar check sent express overnight and since I have so many problems, I elected to have it sent to a FedEx pickup location. Guess what, I still didn't receive my package. At this point I'm looking to see what can be done legally to the (i, e, lawsuit) cause this makes no sense. I will never use FedEx as a courier, and when I called about my check/package the lady rudely hung up on me. What makes it even worse is the sender paid for express overnight shipping, another representative said it would be another 48vhrs to deliver my package and blamed it on a large number of packages. Not my problem, if you can't live up to the service you offer why offer it as an option? And they not trying to refund the express overnight shipping fee when clearly it's standard shipping that they are doing. If I order anything online and they ship thru FedEx I'm canceling my order. I had a package order on the Jan 22 which wAs suppose to be delivered on the 25th... I never received my package I had to do a dispute which Im still waiting to be refunded. I reordered from the customer the same package on Feb 7 which was suppose to gotten to me on the 10th here it is the 14th and still getting the run around about my package one min it's out for delivery the next it's scan inbound and they saying it's not assigned to a truck MONTGOMERY AL BRANCH YALL PLZ FIND A BETTER WAY TO GET YOUR ORDERS IN FEDEX IS NOT THE ANSWER THERE NOT ACCOUNTABLE AND IM AN ANGRY CUSTOMER

Ordered a single quart can of paint from Menard's. Their shipping was more than the cost of the paint, and when all fees and tax was added it was triple the cost of the paint: I knew this going in, but Menard's was the ONLY place the paint was available. I had no choice in shipping: and I fully lay all blame at the feet of Menard's - they KNEW the driver had a FedEx uniform on. Menard's had the product ready to go the day after I ordered it:(13th Jan) it was 3 days before FedEx picked it up (16th Jan). It then took FedEx 6 days to move it from CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO to Memphis, TN (a whole 172 miles) - that's less than 30 miles a day). Since it arrived in Memphis (22nd Jan) it has been "DELAYED". NO info on it has been sent. NO online info is available. NO online "Customer Support" (misnomer alert) is available. "Customer Service" (misnomer alert) via phone is designed automated uselessness. The delay of this paint has caused a piece of machinery which has been repaired and needed paint before being placed back in service to be unusable for going on 2 weeks now.
FedEx is simply horrible: look at their reviews on all sites - the reviews are almost ALL 1 star ( higher than they deserve). IF you have a choice, avoid them like an ex-spouse: save yourself some grief.

I would leave no stars if that were possible. I have spent 2 days at home, missing 2 days of work waiting for a package because I have to sign for it. The first day the driver marked that he attempted to deliver my package at 526p but noone ever came to my house with a delivery and I have security camera footage to prove this. The delivery was rescheduled for the next day by 430p and at 1257p I got a new update that it would be delivered by 8p. I filed a complaint on the driver for flat out lying about attempting a delivery the first day, but that fell on deaf ears because I have yet to receive a call from the complaint department. I have called FedEx to get some kind of assistance and assurance but they just repeat the same info I get from my updates. FedEx is absolutely ridiculous and I would've never chosen then to deliver my package but I didn't make that choice. Horrible service and I cannot speak to all of the drivers but the one who was/is supposed to deliver my package is the worst.

On June 29th I placed an order with Lowes in Palm Springs for a 1x4 window and was told it would be delivered by Jul 11. I was given a tracking number by Lowes for FedEx, and everything look good, until the Shipment was delayed in Georgia for 4 days, then it was sent on it way and was stuck in Bloomington California for another couple of days which the next step should have been to Palm Springs instead they have shipped it off to Colorado and said it should be delivered by the 20th. From this point on whenever I order something that need to be shipped, I will ask if it will be shipped FedEx and if it is I will tell them to cancel the order.

Don't try to reach the customer service as they will just have you wait for a call back in 25 minutes then call and tell you the same thing it states online.

Let me start this way I own a business and I order a lot of stuff and whenever I see that Fed ex I will try to make a point to call and change that or I will cancel my order I have never had a good experience with Fed ex but I have also until recently not have FedEx deal for me and lied to me in the fashion they have done recently I ordered a pool that was supposed to be sent to my house they said it was delivered while I was at home they have no pictures they have nothing I don't have a pool there and when we went back to talk to them they said that they would have the driver call us the next day we have waited three days once we finally got back to them they said they don't know what happened to driver said he delivered it without a picture as everybody else does and if they can't find it to go back to the place we bought it from and tell them that it was lost. What pieces of $#*!. Their guy was supposed to call us back and he didn't I feel like the driver stole the package

Customer service is an absolute joke. I received zero help from them and all of my packages coming from them are still out missing.
When FedEx delivers pkgs, they instruct their drivers to decide where to leave the pkg. They tell them to try not leaving the pkgs at the front door. So when they deliver to my house they refuse to leave it at my front door. Instead the drivers leave the pkg somewhere on my property, but it's up to me to find where they left it (almost like the game, Clue). They've left pkgs in a lawn tool storage box at the back of my property, they once hid it inside my garage because the garage door happened to be open when they arrived, or inside a newspaper box etc. And they don't notify you as to where they hid the pkg, either, You have to guess where it is. I called FedEx to complain. They said I can't file a complaint if I ended up finding the pkg because technically the pkg was delivered and I did receive it, even though I had to search my property to find out where it was hidden. I went to the FedEx distribution facility and tried to file a complaint. I asked them to put a note on my account saying that I want pkg's delivered to the front door. Nope, they can't put notes on a recipient's address. I asked for a supervisor. The rep disappeared for a while and came back saying that she explained my complaint to the supervisor and he said he was busy having lunch so he couldn't come up front to speak with me but he's call me later (his bologna sandwich was more important than dealing with an unhappy customer?). I never got the call that was promised. Am I surprised?. NOT. When I can, I now tell suppliers not to ship to me via FedEx. I now refer to this company as FedUp!

The world worst service I ever had. They don't have proper management between the team and team leader. Sending fake emails that we'll deliver it tomorrow and never comes on time whole week it was going. They are contradicting their statements. Team leader said on Monday ur package will be delivered in the morning but till 6 we waited but they did not deliver. FedEx doesn't know their driver's contact details wow. No system. Team member abc (don't won't to name her)when I was asking the question she disconnected the phone on my face what customer service. We have mentioned TL tell driver give us a call Or how to access the building but today their team member is telling me we don't have access to ur apartment which is mentioned in our system. They wants to leave our package outside the building where renovation is going so labours and companies near by. But FedEx is not worried about it coz it's ur package not their.
