My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
Worst ever currier. Since pension plans changed and now more profitable delivering Covid vaccines, they never. NEVER deliver anything on time!
I've had many deleveries disappear and had to have items reshipped over and over. I've submitted 13 complaints about the driver here and nothing has been done. Last week the driver rang my intercom door, I buzzed him in and he never came to my door or dropped the package off. The same exact thing happened Saturday and today. I called to complain on Saturday. I called again today when this other shipment didn't make it. Their customer service told me the driver said he couldn't get in so he left it outside of our security gate on the street in Downtown Chicago next to Wrigley Field. So if it didn't get stolen I would be shocked. They refuse to talk or reprimand the driver and told me it's the sellers fault and they won't do anything. The two packages that he lost or stole himself were on a deep discount and fanatics is out of stock. All these thefts have caused me time on the phone trying to reship and searching around my entire apartment complex. I work for $35hr. I want $455 comped. I've contacted the BBB. For 3 months packages have been arriving normally but previous to that I lodged 10 other complaints because of food delivery being thrown over our gate, lost packages, and damaged items. I hope you go out of business!

This is the fourth time that FedEx has delivered my package to the wrong houses my address is visible in front of my house in big numbers no way they can miss it before scanning they need to verify the address it was thanks to a Prime Amazon member that I got one of my packages back they saw my address my name and returned it to me Amazon did not FedEx FedEx delivered to the wrong house again the second package I got it from my next door neighbor the third package finally came in 2 weeks later the third package never delivered to my address took a month to get my refund because of FedEx I am considering boycotting them because they do a horrible job they need to improve their system they need to improve on their employees to make sure that they're delivering to the right addresses there's no way I should be waiting a month to get a refund it's ridiculous FedEx if I could give you a zero I would give you a zero but I can put one star I hope you can improve your business before others start to go to other places who are more reliable

I clicked 1 star because that's the lowest choice on this site. I live in Boston and ordered a food item from a company in California. It took FedEx only 2 days to move it from California to Connecticut. It has then sat in Connecticut for 5 days! Their customer service is just as bad. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get a person on the line. OK, I know that's tough during these days of covid-19 - BUT - their automated systems are also horrendous. Just this morning I tried to get a reliable update since their site said "Scheduled Delivery TODAY" but I could see the package was still in Connecticut and NOT at the local FedEx distribution center. I still got the "automated / computer answer" that the package would be delivered today. Just now I checked the site again - lo and behold, they moved the package 39 miles north from one site in Connecticut to another, and now it says "Scheduled Delivery May 2nd" (tomorrow).
I am "FED UP" and will not only never use FedEx again, but I refuse to purchase anything from a vendor who does not offer me a different shipping service.

Wow - it just keeps getting worse. Tracking agents are likely outsourced overseas creating a huge language barrier. I just had to give my tracking number ten times then hang up on him after 20 minutes because he could not understand me and I could not understand him. This is at least the 4th time I've encountered this problem this year so I feel inclined to share my experience at this point. Bless the poor reps heart for trying to help me out but Fedex is clearly not doing quality control, training and/or qualifying these people to make sure that they can adequately do the job. SHAME ON FEDEX for putting people in this situation. I was calling because Fedex has lost my shipment for a second time. I finally called after the re-shipment from Wayfiar had not been updated in over a week. I asked to be transferred several times before hanging up and trying back. The woman who helped me next was a bit better but when I asked her why I could not be transferred to a manager to share my concerns, she let me know that they are not permitted to do that. They are literally NOT permitted to provide quality customer service because sometimes that's what it takes. I then was transferred to "Customer Service" instead of a package tracking agent and after I explained what was going on to this person (who sounded like they were here in the U.S.) they sounded totally unprepared, nervous and immediately transferred me to claims instead of communicating with me. Fedex clearly sets zero standards for customer care. I will go out of my way to shop with vendors who do not use Fedex from this point forward. Shame on you Fedex. Lost packages and incompetent staff. There's no excuse for this.
So, let me tell you about my current experience with FEDEX. Yesterday (5/1) at 10:30ish we called in a FEDEX EXPRESS pickup, confirmation #'s LKSA641 & LKSA167. A little after 4pm we called to see what the hold up was and we were told the truck broke down and another truck had been dispatched and should arrive in 10 - 15 minutes. We closed our shop at 6:30pm and still no driver and too late to get to a FEDEX location for a drop off. This morning we have called not once but 4 times and got four different stories and a bucket load of rude representatives. The first call we were told the driver showed up and no one was at out location at 4:30... untrue. The second call we were told the pickup had been rescheduled and that we were notified... untrue. The third call the representative transferred us to Ground and then we got transferred back to the 800# and the call timed out, a recording reported that the call was unable to complete.(Same as being hung up on) Forth call we spoke with a rep that continued to talk over us and not listen, this guy would ask questions and keep on talking. Tried to tell us there was a distribution center machine malfunction... had absolutely NOTHING to do with pickups. Then we called our outside service rep, like that would do any good... I have never had a return phone call from her. Today FEDEX totally and completely has missed the mark.
I WOULD GIVE THEM A HALF STAR RATING IF IT WOULD LET ME. THEY ARE GETTING WORSE EVERVERY DAY DEL. PACKAGES. I CAN NOT GET AIR PACKAGE NEXT DAY TO SAVE MY LIFE. IT TAKES 2 DAYS EVERY TIME!
I would give it zero stars if possible. Package was delivered to wrong address (even though location street numbers were clearly visible at both locations)... the real irony being that my address was only 3-4 miles from their distribution center. I both called and went online... both places said my tracking number was invalid even when I cut and pasted the number from the translated QR Code. The voice recognition on their voicemail was completely worthless and if any part of their software doesn't like your tracking number entry, it stops you there (either blocks site entry further or actually hangs up on you). I had to drive up and down my street until I found an honest neighbor, who helped me out with a lead and I finally got my package. AND I STILL HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET THROUGH TO THE STUPID COMPANY TO TALK TO AN ACTUAL PERSON! This kind of service from a delivery company should be grounds to put them out of business. It is so ludicrous that it borders on the asinine. I will do everything in my power to make sure that everyone in this local area knows NOT to use this service EVER!

I have had nothing but problems with this company. Today was the last straw. I receive medications shipped by FedEx. I live in an apartment building of 4 floors. I'm on the 4th, there's an elevator. There's also a secured door entrance that has to be opened by the resident. There are directions given that they are to personally HAND the box ONLY to ME plus ONLY MY signature. The pharmacy & I had put these directions with the orders as protection because I don't trust fedex. There's also directions that IF I don't answer MY buzzer, they are to CALL ME. Not too difficult, I feel. Today someone let him in. The driver handed that person (don't know who) my meds! Then the driver had that resident sign MY name! I am beyond words as to the flagrant, irresponsible, stupid, ignorant, brainless, dense, unintelligent (guess I did find a few words) this driver is. It's not too difficult to take the elevator up to the 4th floor, knock on my door, hand me the box, & sign for it. As simple as that. A monkey could do that, but I don't want to compare the driver to a monkey because I don't want to hurt the monkey's feelings. This isn't the first time a driver of FedEx did something like this. Another example happened with one of my food deliveries, which was delivered by, guess who, none other than, FedEx. He left the FOOD in the LOBBY! If a resident hadn't knocked on my door to let me know about it, it would have sat there for who knows how long or stolen. It was already sitting down there for over an hour! One more example is that the drivers leave packages, not only mine but other residents, in the vestibule that people can walk in from the streets through the unlocked first door (it's left unlocked for people to make deliveries, visitors so they can buzz up the resident) & steal it. (It's already happened to me). There have been numerous times that this has happened. However, with the screw up of today's delivery was the last straw. This will be the last delivery EVER from fedex. The med company dropped them & switched me to UPS. Hallelujah the skies have opened up with UPS.
Lazy underpaid drivers. Always saying they attempted a delivery when they did not. They lie and are always delayed. Never have this issue with UPS.
Do not ship with Fedex! Their package insurance is a scam first of all. I will never trust fedex to ship any package. I will only use UPS & USPS from now on. My mom shipped a package and I made sure to be home for the scheduled delivery day. When I received the text message that the package was delivered I was confused because both my husband and I did not hear a knock at the door. As soon as I saw the text message from FEDEX said delivered I opened the door and there was nothing. I am not sure if the driver just delivered it to the wrong address or what so I called and had to file a claim that my package was not delivered. I filed a claim over the phone and online with all documents and item descriptions to be thorough. It was not until a week after, when claims are supposed to be resolved within 5-7 days that I was told that my mom had to file the claim as she was the shipper. So she reached out and spoke to them and they were looking into it. Another week goes by and nothing, so she calls again, is on hold for a very long time and finally gets a supervisor who says the claim is denied. I do not have proof by a photo of the package in front of my door with my apt. # with a time stamp so no I do not believe this should be denied. It is not my responsibility to make sure the driver delivers it to the correct address/door. They denied it because they don't want to pay for the drivers error. I had over $200 worth of items in the package, it was insured for $200 and my mom payed a little less than $20 to ship it. So now because we trusted them they are saying we are screwed out of over $200 AND the cost to ship the package. This is an absolute joke and it has been a nightmare getting anyone on the phone. I have now been transferred to the incorrect person 3 times. I am not sure why it is so hard to speak to a supervisor. I guess because they are just trying to avoid actually taking responsibility for their employee and they want to save some money. So ridiculous. Stay away from FEDEX!

It was supposed to be a 1-2 day express home delivery. I got a notice by mail the second day it would show up at 6 PM. It never did and I waited frustratingly 40 minutes only to call their customer service and find out they close at 6 PM. Finally I get a number with takes me to their robot customer service. Which after 15 minutes of hassle tells me the package is on route for delivery. So I continue waiting. Of course no one shows up. By the third day I get a new notice that it will be delivered by 11 AM. Home from work, waiting in the kitchen, in good hearing distance from the front door. Together even with my doberman(guarddog) who - if I against all odds would've missed it - would bark and run to the door at any sounds. After waiting 2 hours I head back to work only to find the delivery man has left a notice claiming to have called - this obviously ain't so. By the fourth and fifth day I get two more notices by mail that it will be delivered by 6 PM. No one shows up. Both me, my dog and my two flatmates have been home. After writing to their customer service I've gotten to know it is apparently impossible for them to make a phone call before delivery or give any more precise delivery time than between 9 AM to 6 PM. As a normal, working man I have NO possibility to wait around for 9 hours on a week-day to wait for a delivery-man that might not even ring the doorbell.The only feasible way for them to deliver is if I write a note on the door. The package is private in nature and I do not wish to have it waiting in the open to be opened or stolen. I chose express 1-2 days international home delivery and paid extra for it. I needed it for a special occasion, thought that perhaps I could still have a use for it after it arrived late - but not on the eight day and it is still not delivered properly I have e-mailed them that they might as well return it. A waste of 20 pounds, 6 hours of waiting and e-mailing and I've got nothing.Use anything but FedEX.
I ordered coloring pencils from an art supply company (3 red and 3 green) on the same day as two separate orders. The red pencils arrived promptly within 3 days. I am still waiting for the green pencils. Tracking shows that they arrived at the FedEx office near here 3 days ago but still have not been sent for delivery.
Upon calling FedEx I got a recorded message stating that the Art Supply Company paid for Economy service then said "Good Bye" and hung up I placed a second call and got the hang up again. Economy Service or not. If the package arrived at the transferring facility 3 days ago why is it still sitting there? Are they holding it there to deliberately make it arrive slower - and thus encourage users to pay more for a more rapid delivery? If it is at a holding facility near my home why was it not sent the next day, as the red pencils were sent - also economy. And why is the phone hanging up without giving me the option of speaking to someone.
