My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!

I suggest never to use Fedex services or give anyone your Fedex account number to make a shipment to you.
They abuse the fact that the account holder is not making the shipment and can not approve cost.
Here is what happened.
My customer wanted to us to ship a personal item to him and gave us his Fedex account #.
The goods to be shipped are 2 tee shirts and 2 shorts. It is almost 5 pounds but by the rule of package sizes it is regarded 20 pounds.as We shipped from Istanbul to New York with the Fedex account # of the customer.
Now hear this.
My customer gets an invoice of $2064. 29 for this shipment and as you can expect is crazy with our operaration.
FYI, the cost of two way airline ticket to Istanbul NY is $600.
My factory in Istanbul checked what if they sent this package with their own account instead of using customer Fedex acc #.
It turns out we would have paid $125.
Can you see the game Fedex is playing, and this is not the first time.
Taled to customer service couple of times, and they provided a $900 discount. But then I find out they charged is with wrong package size. So they charged my customer 4 time the volume.
I am now trying to prove that the size was entered wrong in their systems.
Bottom line.
Don't give anyone your Fedex account #. Fedex will abuse it. You will get the surprise later so all is happened already. No accapence of price before shipment. Fedex claims that they can not give cost of shipment to anyone else but other then the account holder. They do not request approval from the account holder the cost. So they ship and bat it will be paid.
I am refunding the whole cost to my customer on what he paid to Fedex and that is how customers needs to be treated.

For some reason@@@. Com decide to deliver a package using FedEx as a carrier, For some reason the "FEDEX SMARTPOST" took the smartest and cheapest / efficient way to deliver the package. The package travel from CA - NV - North Salt lake, UT - Denver, CO - less than 18 miles 23hrs to Henderson, CO located in Denver CO - FedEx Smartpost Salt lake UT- Back to North Salt Lake, UT. Calling the Costumer service was a enlighten since I was told by them that that was the most economic / Smart way for delivery. I wonder were they took their classes on economy since for me it looks like a waste of gas / time. But one have to love their costumer service, is never the driver made a mistake or the facility put the package in the wrong truck. Is always "sorry sir the smartpost system takes the most economic way to deliver the packages".
How do I fix this, well I contacted the seller and they have 1 day left to deliver, if not I get a refund and told them already that if they send another package using FedEx I will stop doing business with them. BTW the package is in UT and it need to be deliver somewhere in the mountains of Colorado.

From FEDEX SMARTPOST Salt Lake City, UT. Is back on the road to Henderson, CO and it took another day to arrive to FEDEX SMARTPOST Denver, CO. The package is touching each place that is being before and they have the right address.

I grew up respecting some brands as they exemplify the work ethics I embrace. FedEx was one of these companies. In my mind, FedEx was synonymous with excellence, reliability, and trust. However, a recent encounter, one single encounter was more than sufficient for me to question the image I have of this brand!
A FedEx driver handed over my laptop to a stranger who happened to be in the area without any verification of identity. The address to be shipped to is an apartment. A signature was required. Nobody walked into the building between 11 am and 12 pm on that day per security camera! The driver is either lying or he made a very big mistake.
I went to the local FedEx Ground to address the matter and I was welcomed by the staff there. They promised to call back to update me on the investigation within 24-48 business hours. To pacify me, one of the managers gave me his cell phone number, which was worthless as he never responded to any of my attempts to contact him. It's been 5 days and they have yet to call back. I called customer service 32 times only to be told that someone will call back. I have yet to get that call.
FedEx just sent me an email informing me that they rejected my claim citing: 'Our records indicate that the delivery options available with the Direct Signature Required service were followed, and there is no evidence of mishandling on the part of FedEx.' This is incredibly frustrating! How could the workflow allow for such a massive margin of error? Any shipment can be handed over to any person who might be passing by the building! The address had a unique unit number. Dropping it off with any person who does not live in that unique address is an act of gross negligence.
I am utterly shocked that this is FedEx's definition of customer service!
Unethical, apathetic, and incompetent. That's my impression of FedEx after this experience. I don't understand how they were able to get 2.8 stars. If my experience is a representative autopsy of their institutional culture, then one star would be too generous of a grade.
Excellence in service delivery, humility, and integrity are key ingredients to the success of any business, big or small. When missed, it will be a matter of time before other businesses will take their share in the market and turn businesses like FedEx and FedEx Ground into a legacy that once existed, scaled, and then vanished.

I've NEVER gotten my delivery on time through FedEx. Every time there is a delivery date, it gets pushed back by days or even a week at a time.

I had a ground package delivered to me by FEDEX and from my understanding there ground packages are handle by a private company but use a FEDEX truck and the drivers are all dressed in FEDEX apparel.
Driver brings package into my business and i noticed box was torn open about18 inches wanted driver to put in his hand held computer open box just in case something was missing little did i know the driver couldn't speak ENGLISH so i took pictures of the open box and of the driver showing him leaving it in my showroom.
I than proceeded back to my office and driver walked outside to get back in his FEDEX truck when i noticed on my security system he proceeded back into my showroom and took my package and i have been calling FEDEX for now 3 days and getting the run around and still don't have my package which contains a part for my customer, I find this do be so unprofessional from FEDEX stand point of them allowing there out source VENDORS to have people delivering packages that cant speak ENGLISH all of this action was recorded on my security system

I've written 1 star reviews everywhere I can (and I'm not alone). Bottom line don't use FedEx for anything valuable or change that for anything period. For laughs here are the excuses from day one to now day 31 about where my $500 bass guitar went.

I ask so why is the "proof of delivery" document you sent me blank? (gives no address where it went or person it was delivered to) "Oh the driver "forgot" to scan the box when they took it out of the truck" (so there's no proof of delivery (UPS store never got any package for me that whole week) Day 14-15-16-17-18-19 "Maybe they delivered it to the wrong address" "We don't know yet need more info" "We have a case opened on it I'll call you tomorrow" (Never get a call) "I was out of the office but we are asking about this here's my direct # to call me" (direct number is not to the person I was speaking with" "Well we're sorry about this, maybe the driver left it at the wrong address (back to day 14) Fast Forward to Day 31 I have a dispute in for the charge and my CC says will get the charge removed, they are investigating. End result: Don't ever use FedEx it's just not worth it period.

I wish I could give a zero stars. I barely ever deal with fedex because of them being extremely unreliable. But this time it was the last drop. I ordered a wedding item which we needed for our wedding on July 7th. This item was supposed to be the most important one during the ceremony. I paid $39 for expedited 2 day delivery. On June 26 the company shipped my package to my address in Denton, TX. On July 5th it was in Fort Worth, which is only 35 minutes away from my house. On July 10th they shipped it back to the sender because I didn't come to pick up it. I received notification from fedex about package being returned on July 9th. And this was the very first contact I received about my package. Gave them a call and they said, "if you want us to turn the package around and send it to you again you will have to pay again." WHAT? You never tried to deliver it to my house for which i paid $39 (6lbs package). Now you want me to pay more? They were pretty inflexible and kept saying that I either have to pay more or can fly myself to Mississippi where the package is right now and they can hold it in there. I will never ever deal with fedex again. The worst mail system out there. From the past I can say, their drivers are the worst. They through packages over the fence or on the ground even when it says Fragile. They don't bother knocking or ringing the bell well enough They just do couple of quet knocks and leave. This was the reason I stopped dealing with them. This time I had no idea the company would ship with Fedex. Otherwise I would never agree for that. They through my computer and broke it in the past. I never had any issues with UPS or even USPS like I had with Fedex. I don't know how this company is still alive and why people still use them. The worst!

I was supposed to receive a package on June 2nd and have waited only to receive email saying it is delayed. So it was supposed to be delivered yesterday. I have been waiting since June 2nd and now June 3rd, I held off on my errands because I was waiting for this package. Again I received an email saying they attempted to deliver but that there was noone to receive the package. Another lie. I was here all day up to after that time and there was not a knock on our building door which my apartment unit was the first door past the main bldg door and I would have known because my dogs would have barked. Anyways, so I called the shipper and complained. They said to call fedex so they can redeliver. I called fedex customer support and even gave the access code to the building. They said they will redeliver by 4pm or 4:30pm. Guess what? They did not! Today I receive an email saying that the package is ready for pickup at a location. WTH?! I called the shipper again and was instructed to call fedex again because they did not follow through with what they said yesterday and the customer support was no support. He just said that that is the info they have. I said that is the info that was emailed to me today so I am calling about their word that they will redeliver yesterday and was expecting to even do so today at the very least but no, even customer support sucks. I told them that i will call my employer and tell them to not use fedex for important packages because it is unreliable. If the shipper had used USPS, my package would have gotten to me way sooner, even with signature required, it would've been cheaper as well. FedEx is not worth the fee they get paid. Service sucks!

We were expecting to receive our package on the 12th of October, but it was delayed because of the documentation that we needed to submit for Customs Clearing. Everything was going smoothly until past 6pm on October 19 when FedEx vehicle driver Warlito Mahilum and courier assistant Brylle Villalobos turned everything into a nightmare. They were extremely impatient, rude, and disrespectful. They were simply asked to wait for a few minutes so that we could get the payment from the house, but Brylle Villalobos kept insisting that they still had a lot of parcels to deliver. I had to repeat myself over the phone, to please wait. Alas, as shown in our CCTV, it was not even 2 minutes when our driver came back with the payment and they were already gone with our package. It became a 24 hour roller coaster ride of phone calls and email exchanges just to receive our package. The Customer Service Team headed by Maureen Zamora, Customer Experience Relationship Lead who assisted us with the case were very helpful in ensuring that we would be able to get our package intact and that our grueling experience would not go unnoticed.
As of this writing, we have received the packages - commendations and thanks go to Maureen and her team. While our packages may have already been received, we are still waiting to hear about the complete case report from the management of FedEx Philippines. This is not the type of service we expect from an established and supposedly reputable courier service such as FedEx. We would like to know why your two representatives acted in this manner and at the same time, we would like to be assured that this will not happen again to us or to any of your customers moving forward.
The package was supposed to arrive on February 7th, but they delayed it. The second attempt was supposed to deliver the end of day on February 9th. But they didn't come the end of the day, they tried delivery at 10am. I wasn't home around 10 in the morning because they said they were coming at the end of the day. I came home around 12 o'clock. I called customer service around 12:00 and the lady said they would try again at 1:30. But they didn't deliver it. She lied to me. I found out later that they couldn't do that. I canceled all my schedules on Feb 7th and Feb 9th and had to wait for FedEx. February 7 manager supposed to call me, but they didn't. It's the first time in my life I've ever had a headache like this to receive a package. I have to go pick up the 50lb heavy stuff at walgreen on February 10th. I canceled all my schedules for 2 days and waited for FedEx. I couldn't do it another day, so I decided to go pick it up. It was the worst experience ever. Next time I buy something, if FedEx delivers it, I won't buy there.

Ordered a speaker on eBay to be delivered on Jan 30th. The doorbell rings Jan 30th FedEx has me sign for a package he hands me 3 boxes and walks away Im surprised I look at them they are all drugs addressed to Wallgreens I call him back he says I must have scanned the wrong stuff. He checks his truck says he does not have my package and shows my name on his screen for his next delivery says it will come tomorrow it never did.
It was not delivered on Jan 30th on Jan 31 I opened a missing case on Feb 7th FedEx sent an email saying can't find it in their system saying it is lost apply for a refund. Feb 10th FedEx changed the tracking # showing that it was delivered on Jan 30th so the refund was denied. How can they go back 10 days and like magic enter a delivery date 10 days later the date only shows up when the package is scanned in at delivery time Again on Feb 14th FedEx sends me an email saying the package was lost and apply for a refund. HOW CAN FEDEX ADD A DELIVERY DATE 1O DAYS LATER? I disputed it. Today Mar 7 they sent me an email dining my claim because it says it was delivered on Jan 30th. THE DRIVER STOLE MY SPEAKER AND ADDED THE DATE LATER SOMEHOW I GOT NO HELP AND LOST $121.00 LUCKY IT WAS NOT $400 I WILL NOT ORDER ANY PRODUCT IF THE SHIP FedEx.

If anyone orders an item online please ask how will be shipping it if they say FedEx demand they use UPS or USPS. Do not complete your purchase if they only ship with FedEx. I preordered the new Metroid two days ago on October 7th. At first it told me it would be here yesterday, October 8th. I figured this was unrealistic, and didn't count on it actually arriving yesterday though. I think it would probably be unreasonable to expect that anyways.
Yesterday rolls around, October 8th. The shipping information changes, saying it should arrive TODAY October 9th. I figured this was a little more reasonable at least.
Today around 6:57 the tracking information changes to show that it is on a truck ready for delivery. 11:00 rolls around, so I check down at the mailbox for any sign of anything. Nothing. It is also worth noting that I have my phone number linked to this order, AND I have a security camera capturing footage of my driveway and front door. At NO point was there anything on the camera other than me walking out to check the mailbox and to walk my dog.
By 12:30 the tracking information has changed to show that "a delivery attempt was made" and "no one was home."
This is a blatant lie, and downright lazy. I've clearly been here all day and have visual proof they never once came by. Granted, I do live a bit out of the way so normally I could understand if they couldn't find the address. However my phone number was absolutely available to them (I can tell because whenever I call the horribly unhelpful customer support line they automatically brought up my order number on the first call) and they could have very easily called to figure out exactly where I was.
Then there's the case of their customer service. Getting the runaround from an actual person is one thing and already infuriating. Getting it from an automated voice? Unacceptable. It's near impossible to even speak with an actual employee.
This companies laziness and dishonesty are absolutely undeniable. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the reviews claiming anything over a 2 to 3 stars are plants from FedEx to try and save face.
Bottom line, the only time you should be using FedEx is if you absolutely have 0 other options, or you simply don't want the package to arrive on time or at all. Horrible company.

Just avoid FedEx entirely. Not worth it at all.
