My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Additionally, their tracking system provides detailed updates, allowing customers to stay informed about their shipments' whereabouts. However, there are areas for improvement. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
Crappiest customer service ever! Parcels get often lost or returned to the sender without warning and without even attempting a first delivery. This company is managed by lazy incompetent couriers that most of the times fake deliveries and say "they've attempted to deliver many times", although there is zero proof.
I purposely wasted entire days staying at home to don't miss my delivery and nobody ever showed up! They never left a single email, text or proof of attempted deliveries in my mailbox.
Then you call the helpless and rude phone operators (that can barely speak English), and 99.9% of the times they say "there is nothing they can do" or someone will call you back and that obviously never happen.

I have been waiting for 7 days for my package to be delivered. Each day I get the notice that it is on the truck for delivery and each day it doesn't show up. Spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out why and after finally getting the robot to transfer me to a representative she tells me it it is on the truck and will be there by end of day. Well what do you know it is still not here. This is the 4th time they have done this to us and each time we end up having to go to the facility that is 40 minutes away to pick up the package our selves.
I typically would have provided a 5 star for FedEx but as of the last months, possibly 6 months, service has been horrible. The delivery from today is a prime example. It was delivered on the side of the road 1 mile from my house. In addition, it is pouring down rain and the order is dogfood. The last order was an electronic and is was delivered about 1/2 mile from the house in inclement weather. It would appear that the driver is afraid of melting from getting wet or something. Absolutely horrible service by the latest driver they put in charge of my route. Do better! Tried attaching the picture sent by FedEx but it won't allow it to attach...proof that they don't want their own evidence used against them. Amazing.
On my bucket list, to share through as many channels as I can find to protect other people from this. Cancer meds, necessary life saving meds. You can't get a live rep to stress the urgency. Unbelievable, You need to take this review serious. Be wise, this is a nightmare. This review will not change who they are. You need to protect yourself and choose another service. Ordered $235 worth of $#*! and they sent them to a whole different address and tried lying about it saying they came to my house and knocked on my door and gave it to me. I've been up since 7:30 (30 mins before opening) it my birthday present from my mom and they didn't seem like they cared at all and only answered the phone once when i called them (4 times i've called) and they were crappy the whole time and oh yeah i still don't have my package. They are the absolute worst and ruined my whole birthday. Hope your satisfied.

They tick me off with their lies. You pay for 2 day expedited shipping and verything stays on track. They even notify you that you will be receiving your package the next day and even when it's out for delivery. But, when they try to be slick and change the expected delivery date last minute, the text updates stop, and they won't notify you of that. It pisses me off that you pay good money to get it within a certain time frame but, they just do what they want and customer service helps ZERO!

All the positive reviews are lying. They must be FedEx employees. Never on time. They do not return calls. When you get them on the phone, more lies. They lost a package of mine for two weeks. Two weeks! The next time I order something and I find out it's being sent FedEx I will cancel my order and do business elsewhere. This is the last time I put up with their BS. Never again. I selected four stars because I could not select 0 stars. Hopefully this will get posted in positive reviews and people will hear the truth. Never use FedEx. My current delivery was supposed to be the 4th of June. That was put back to the 5th. Now they are saying the delivery is delayed again and they have no idea when it will be delivered.
FedEx is the worse. Their tracking information is never right, packages are always lost. I tried setting up an account with FedEx Delivery Manager to send my packages to a new by FedEx location and you cannot even create an account. I have talked to their support team several times to correct the issue and it was never corrected. I have spend hours trying to set up an account and never could. It is a shame that anyone sending packages uses FedEx because it is extremely frustrating to their customers. I am not sure how they even stay in business!

You would think that once your package got in the delivery truck they would be delivered. Not at Fedex in Rockford, IL. They get in the truck 11/01/2021 and are delivered 11/04/2021. The end of taped closed after Fedex tore it open. I have told all my suppliers I will not use them if they use Fedex.

These drivers appear to be incapable of delivering a package to the correct address. This has happened multiple times. And the company will not do anything to help us get the package. Horrible service!
I ordered a drone that shipped from the west coast to the east coast. The package was picked up by Fedex on Friday and moved less than a mile to a facility on Saturday. I was given a original shipping date of Thursday... they updated it to come in early on Monday. With no motion or delivery I called and they told me "no no its coming in Thursday not Monday". With no motion on Tuesday I called again and was told "Its coming in Wednesday". Still with no motion I called Wednesday and was then told "It was in town and will be delivered Thursday morning". It being Thursday afternoon I called again and was told it will be next Tuesday and "We have had an influx of shipments and we are very sorry and as you can see its moving now" It took a week to get scanned at the same facility. I could have walked it home at this rate. I think they lost my package and are buying time to find it or find some excuse to the loss...
HORRIBLE BUSINESS! Do not let anyone ship important medications with FedEx! They do nothing but, promote the pain and suffering of others causing a snow ball effect that in the end effects everyone. After spending thousands of dollars this past year on next day shipping charges with this company they continuously cause delays for no good reason! Customer service is absolutely useless and does nothing but, cause more problems! UPS used to be the worst but, they seem to be the only capable carrier anymore other than Amazon. I'm looking for legal advice at this time as they have caused a great deal of damage at this point. When you call a company and reach the other side of the globe that should be the first clue that something's wrong with the company.

Simply put if you want to make a purchase and not receive it, have it shipped by FedEx this is the most incompetent company in the USA. I dare a rep from FedEx contact me about the continuing issues with this ignorant company I would love an in person. Meeting with them but as we all know it would never happen and they could care less. Tracked and waited for a replacement credit card sent Express FedEx and it was to arrive by noon. At 1 pm, I tracked it again and the site said delivery had been attempted at 12:01 pm, but no one was available to sign for it. I had been sitting in my living room with a view of the front door's window. There was no knock on the door. There was no doorbell ring. No door tag was left. The driver f-ed up and lied to his company. FedEx blows and I'll NEVER use such an incompetent, lying company for ANY of my shipments.
FedEx is not responsible for any packages that they do not deliver or deliver incorrectly.
When you call to find out where your package was left, they simply refer you to the sender instead of asking the driver or checking the driver's GPS in order to find out where he might have mistakenly left the parcel.
This makes it far too easy for drivers to simply leave packages wherever they feel like in order to complete deliveries and get finished for the day. I understand that the drivers are probably pushed beyond reasonable limits which probably accounts for FedEx's unusual amount of undelivered or incorrectly delivered packages, but that is no excuse for the company's lack of consideration or responsibility.
10/25/23 i am trying to complete an international shipping document on FedEx.com. I tried several times and could never get it to finalize. I called 2 times and each time received information that did not help. Finally i am told i have to go back to the old version to create a document. The version that FedEx shows on their website doesn't work. So instead of them taking it down and returning to the format that works, they make customers work for over an hour (not counting the 30+ minutes of phone time) to be told to delete the form i completed from their website and click on something that is not obvious to take me back to the old form. This is ridiculous for a company to but the burden on the shipper because of their technical errors
I live in rural northern New York. FedEx sucks up here! My packages NEVER are here/delivered when the tracking says. Add 3-5days when it says it "out for delivery" then you'll get your stuff unless they deliver it 2 doors down from you which is not unusual. UPS & USPS ALWAYS get it here on time. Not sure what's FedEx's deal in the northeast but they need to figure it out!

Absolutely apooling, tracking says that package was delivered and signed for by me - untrue. Than delivery was apparently refused by me, despite me calling over and over to re-arrange. This costed me so much stress. So many days staying in, when I arranged to have the package delivered. Messing with people's lives. Disgusting. I will never use them again.

Three cars are behind both trucks blocking traffic not cool. They should be retrained on how to do their job safe and respectful to other drivers on the road and people that are living on that street.
NEVER use FedEx for international shipping! I paid $164 to ship a gift to a safari guide in Kenya. The FedEx agent never told me that I needed to file a commercial invoice for the box. Without the invoice, the box was held at customs. Even though I opened a FedEx account, provided a commercial invoice and called Fedex every couple of days to follow up on the status, Fedex deemed the package "abandoned". They will neither deliver it nor return it to me. Then they billed me $192 in duties for a box they won't deliver and I had to fight with them delete the charges. The customer service agents are nice but useless.
For the second time in 2 weeks FedEx has missed delivery dates and can't supply any information on the deliveries. Last week the gift I ordered for a birthday was delivered 4 days after the date I needed it. This week they missed a delivery meant for Monday and as of today (Tuesday) they can't provide any information on an expected delivery date or where the package is. I will do everything my power to never have FedEx deliver a package for me. They are completely useless
