My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
My package was supposed to be here dec 26. It's now jan 9. I live in Alabama. My package has flown from Georgia to Mississippi back to Georgia where it has been checked in 3 times since dec 28. Checked in 3 times. 3 times. Customer service is as useful as a used hubcap. This company should shut down. I could've driven to PA to pick it up myself if this crap was going to happen. I might as well cancel my order at this point bc it was gift for someone else. Ridiculous stupid useless company
FedEx Failed to deliver my package as committed. I was paid $60 for delivery. They delivered after 25 hours. I called so many times to customer care they said driver left early we will send by afternoon. I called 4 times till afternoon 2:30PM each time they informed me we are trying. At last around 6PM I got a call and informed weather delays. Don't know from morning to evening 6PM no one informed me this. Just to avoid refund they said weather delays. I also checked local weather at destination there are no signs of weather issue. I asked for bill adjustment even that also refused.
FedEx is supposed to deliver packages to our back porch. Today, I found my wife's insulin in my neighbor's yard. Our driveway is 100 feet long. We're disabled, and can't always walk that far.
That is not the way to treat a regular customer.
I ordered a product with express shipping to make sure I had it in time. Two days after the expected delivery date the status stated "delivery option requested" with no notification to me or options to do anything on my account. I called customer service 4 times before they put me through to an actual person. After politely asking the representative about my order she put me on hold and subsequently hung up on me. I called again and after the representative said she wasn't sure what the issue was she put me on hold and and I was hung up on a second time. At this point I gave up and called the seller, which immediately worked with me and sent me a new product. Awful experience. Will actively avoid this company in the future and advise others to do the same.

The absolute worst shipping service around. Eighty percent of my deliveries are either damaged packages, broken items, or delayed delivery. The most rediculous delay reason given is weather delay. I have tracked these packages and compared them to weather maps of the stops my package has made and guess what? Sunshine or starry nights. Avoid vendors who use FedEx.

I would never ever again use FedEx for shipping my products again, they delayed my deliveries in average 17 days, not to mention the amount of damage product they created. The BURLINGTON, WA Location is the worst, everything sits there for up to two weeks. This is very frustrating. This is not acceptable for me and my company.
Staring today I will only ship UPS. Much better service and company. Good by FedEx you lost my business for life.

Every single transaction I've ever had with this bunch ended up either with the package being delayed at least five times, delivered to the wrong address, NEVER delivered, or damaged. To be fair, I had ONE package show up one month later all mangled up and dirty (like it was picked up from the Alabama ravine where a FedEx driver dumped hundreds of packages: https://www.nytimes.com/2021/12/02/us/fedex-packages-dumped.html).
Fed ex is about the worst logistics type of company i have ever had the displeasure of hiring to do a simple job Here is my story i ordered a item from east coast and tracked it till it made it to my town... the facility is like 5 minutes from my home... expecting it the next day i checked on it only to find out it was now in kent washington 150 miles north and was being handed off to DHL for some damn reason im not sure why...

Does it make any sense to carry a package a extra 300 miles after it was 5 miles away half a week ago... And fedex is who got hired to do job so why is dhl handling my item... thats not who i paid to deliver item. I say support our own usps. For 3 months now, every single package we order through FedEx gets delivered to a wrong address. I have spent hours and hours and hours on the phone with FedEx customer service. 15 different phone calls at this point. No one can ever fix the problem. We drove all the way to the warehouse 2 hours away and no one answered. We don't know what to do and all FedEx can say is "sorry for your frustration"
This seems to happen all the time. I had a package that was shipped to FedEx, and FedEx said it would be here on the 19th. Then they turned around said it'd be here in the 15th today between 9:10 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. so my wife decided to wait around home for it and then the morons never delivered it. Probably one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with and I would never use them but the company used them that I bought the package from. From now on if it shipped FedEx I'll order somewhere else because FedEx is absolutely useless.
I ordered the iPhone 14 and was supposed to get it on the 16th like everyone else did. Everyone else that got it delivered with UPS got theirs on time. Me? No I didn't, I'm still waiting. Oh yeah that's because instead of sending it from Indianapolis to Louisville, they accidentally sent it to Atlanta. I'm never using fedex again and I'm not buy the item if they're only shipping with fedex. I'm honestly surprised fedex is still a thing seeing how poorly they operate. I highly recommend you don't use fedex, save yourself the headache.
Fedex Drivers lie about package delivery and have the audacity to claim packages has been delivered to the front door when in fact theFedex driver never gets out the truck, or delivers to the wrong address.
I do not know why companies deal with Fedex, such deplorable professionalism.
I ordered from a company on the East Coast on Aug 1,2020. Shipping was included and provided by FedEx. From my experience with online shopping, it should have arrived on the Gulf Coast in 3 days from Aug 4, when it was shipped. FedEx routed it to TN, GA, and then to 2 cities in MO. After my complaint to the Seller and to FedEX robot, it began to be re-routed toward the South. For days each day the delivery date was changed for the next day or two. On Aug 13,2020, the package was 1.5 hours away, The last delivery dates were day before yesterday, then yesterday, and now today by 4 PM. It is 3:50 PM and has not arrived yet. So the moral of this experience is--my package is either lost, or FedEx is lost. Either way, I will stay away--from now on. Just try to contact them if you have a problem. Lots of luck. A relative in another state has had a similar experience with FedEx.
This shipping company is the the absolute worst! They take forever to update anything and it takes at least 2 weeks if not longer to get anything! I ordered something from a couple of towns over and it took almost 3 weeks! It is ridiculous! I will never use this company and I always discourage other people from using them as well.
When I request things next day and you have a delivery window of two hours and I still don't receive it that's bull$#*!. I absolutely hate what FedEx has become. I need my items the day I say I need them by. Not the next day or whenever you guys feel like it. I will pay for ups from here on out.
I had a small but high value item shipped from Washington to Florida. FeDex accepted the article and charged about eighty five dollars for overnight, guaranteed delivery by 8:00 PM.
Updates in tracking were not updated. The package arrived fourteen hours later, the next day. A request was applied for to get the shipping costs reimbursed. FeDex cited bad weather and Covid 19 for excuses not being able to deliver in time. There was no bad weather and Covid 19 did not play a role. And if it did, they should not have accepted the item for guaranteed next day delivery.
FedEx's service is unacceptable, can not be even compared to UPS or USPS. Customer service was also horrible. All in all a terrible company, avoid using them by all means!
I've contacted FedEx repeatedly about this. It's very simple. Deliver packages to the back door. The driver refuses to do it. FedEx refuses to make their driver follow instructions.
I blocked the stairs to the front porch so we can't get up the stairs. He just throws the packages over the blockade. I left a note telling them don't deliver to the front porch. Delivers to the front porch anyways. I've added to the label in the section where my name goes and where the apartment goes all deliveries must go to the back door. He refuses to do it. They all tell me when I call and talk to them on the telephone I will get this right over to the plant and they'll take right care of it Spirit every single package so far this week still got one left tomorrow has been delivered to the front porch because he's lazy or maybe he's just stupid I don't know. I don't care. I'm not going to do business with anybody who ships through FedEx because the driver can't follow instructions and they don't care.
What happened to FedEx? You are terrible, constantly late or losing packages. Or my personal favorite…never updating your tracking info and it's already late and your delivery date is "still pending". Because of your service or lack there of, I will no longer order from places like Chewy because they only use you to deliver. You're destroying good businesses reputations. I only order from places that deliver with UPS now. Stop using COVID as an excuse. Amazon and UPS are doing just fine with their deliveries!
Never had a problem until now. FIRE your lazy $#*! drivers that wont come to the door for things that require a signature and then say noone was home. There is always people in my house and plenty of dogs that will go off when someone knocks. Nobody knocked on my door 2 days in a row and I was right next to my door one of those days when at the time they claimed to have knocked. My sons seizure medication from the hospital is in that package and they are treating like it's not important. Received a message twice it was on the way. Right after the second message saying it was on the way I got a msg saying it was delayed for operational issues. Get it together fedex your going to eventually kill someone who cant afford to go buy more medicine or notify them to late when all the pharmacies are closed and they are out of medicine bc you are 3 days late on your promise

Bought a fairly expensive gpu, fedex refused to help both myself and the person who shipped, they acknowledged that the sender can send items to a hold facility but then told the person they wouldn't let them do that, I also added a time when someone would be at our house and then the delivery man ignored it for 2 days, and then lied about attempting to deliver my package the 3rd and final day. My item is now being returned to the sender after waiting 2 weeks to get it. Both myself and the sender received 0 help and had the most atrocious service. Never will I ever use this company and I wasnt even the one who enlisted them as a shipping service.
I paid almost $200 to have a one pound package sent form the US to Spain. I used FedEx because they act as your Customs Broker on foreign shipments, which should expedite customs clearance. Their cost was 4 times what I would have paid shipping it via the Post Office, but I would have to deal with customs directly. I used the FedEx web site to prepare the document required, but there was still an issue clearing customs. They didn't contact me when this happened - I had to check the status on-line to see what the problem was. I have made 8 calls to the FedEx customer service to address the issue - they just enter a query in the computer system and never actually talk to anyone at the Spain facility. After sending them several Emails providing information they requested they stopped responding to me.

We have been receiving food from Hello Fresh except for past 3 weeks, horrific service from FedEx. 2 weeks ago our box arrived late in the evening of the last day food would be good. Box was sitting on our front porch totally open, with broken gel bags that had leaked and saturated our food. Food was warm, smelly and slimy. 1 week ago box did not arrive as promised and day after it arrived, a woman I did not know said she received box and opened it seeing it contained vegetarian meals, she did not want it and brought pilfered box to us, explaining what happened. Now this week we were told food would arrive on Monday- did not come. Today there is no update just a message that no delivery is scheduled, today nothing obviously came and tomorrow is the last day food will be good and site just now claims no delivery scheduled. I have no issue with Hello Fresh but canceled our subscription due to FedEx's inability to deliver perishable meals.
I recently had 3 packages shipped from 2 vendors. Of the 3,1 was delayed twice, arriving 5 days past the 'Standard Transit' date, another was delayed once arriving 3 days past 'Standard Transit' date, and one was supposed to arrive today, but looks to be delayed as well. This is not just a recent issue, it seems that all of my shipments show an expected date that is very rarely met. Not sure if they have staffing issues or what, but it's frustrating to be given a date only to see it delayed time & time again.
I strongly don't recommend them. I am a small business based in Australia and have chosen them to ship three laptops. Firstly, they will charge you based on volumetric weight of the boxes the laptops were shipped in. Secondly, they will check the content of each parcel. During this process they damaged two of my laptops. Lastly, they consolidated those three boxes in one without asking me, just to lower the volumetric weight and put more money in their pocket. When I received the laptops one of them had the padding removed completely. A total nightmare!
