They needed a signature to deliver, so when they said the package was out for delivery on Wednesday at 8am, I waited. I waited for the next 12 hours so that I wouldn't miss my package, only for FedEx to update the delivery status, saying it wouldn't arrive until 2 days later. FedEx wastes so much of people's time. I'm not even able to choose to have them drop it off without a signature. Give your money to UPS or Amazon instead.
Same stoty with every FedEX delivery. Items are delivered around noon during workdays, which means I no one is at home. I try to contact Customer Support to see if I can the delivery to take place at a later time in the day or at least hold it at a shipment center, but their automated system won't let you reach a real person represenative and all they could provide is tracking information which you arleady know. Then after I finally reach a real human representative they inform me that they can only take instructions from the shipper. Then I have to call the shipper and then they have to call FedEX which could take about 24 hours to respond to the shipper's instructions and update the shipping infiormation. It is always a horrible experience to deal with FedEX. A message to retailers, please use UPS.
Absolutely incapable and deceitful staff - the parcel has been now held with them in the destination city for 10 days past when it was supposed to be delivered, after being guaranteed several times over the last week that the delivery would be completed the next day.

I had a very bad experience with Fedex and customer service (Fedex) was no help. They lie to you and tell you anything just to get rid of you. If you insist or ask to talk to a supervisor they hang up on you. This is the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. I am still trying to fix the issue with my package. I sent a package from Houston, TX to Ft. Pierce, FL. It weighed 60 lbs. It cost $200.00 to send it on 12/8/22. The lazy delivery person intentionally went to the door with the wrong package. Returned to his FedEx truck and the drove off WITH the package still in his truck. Are there NO MEN to do this work? Or only dope heads in FedEx's employ?
Fedex refused to deliver a package without signature recently. It was a holster for a pistol. My wife created an account online as they requested and PAID to have all items delivered without signature. Two weeks later another holster for my job was to be delivered. They are now playing the same game, and refuse to deliver without signature, when in several days before, Christmas items have been delivered...without signature. I advised I would not create a second account and PAY again. I called and left a message for the vendor to send my items United States Postal Service henceforth when it returns to them.

They destroyed packages and approved a claim for the cost of the damaged goods ($84). Then they charged me for the shipping ($148) and when I filed a claim for that they came back and said that because it was Fed Ex Ground they will not refund it because the "money back guarantee" doesn't apply to Ground. Absurd - so they think they can charge for shipping an item that they themselves admit they destroyed in the shipping process. This company is out of control.

FedEx is the worse delivery company I've ever worked with. They have not only been holding my package for day 7 now, twice I was told it was being delivered. I waited no FedEx. Even if you get through to them on the phone, it don't matter. They still will not/can not give you a date for delivery. Not one person out of the eight times I called had a clue what to do or what was happening. Ok you can be behind because of Christmas but you can't just hold people's packages till whenever without giving est delivery times. I've never in all my 59 years of life and Christmas packages had to go through what I went through with FedEx. If you want to keep your sanity, ship with someone else
FedEx used to be a reliable service that delivered goods in relatively good condition on a time schedule. Over the past few years its service has deteriorated until now we cringe when we hear that someone has shipped through them. Apparently, the process at the warehouses is so destructive that the boxes either fall onto or off the conveyor belts, leaving customers with the repetitive, unpleasant task of having to return product after product. My packaged shipped to my apartment complex. The complex has no gate key, and our apartments are clearly marked. Instead of delivering my package, the delivery driver dumps all our packages at the leasing office...when they're closed. Then they mark the item unable to be delivered, and we/I have to go to some hub 20 miles away to pick it up. Unacceptable. There is no reason in the world why the driver could not deliver my package, other than plain laziness.
Worse delivery company ever! I received only one notice saying they missed me and package would be delivered next day and to make sure someone is home to sign for it. We were there all day, have a ring doorbell that records who comes to the door. FedEx driver never came to the door. Latter that evening I received a customer service text saying package has been delayed and would be delivered next day between these hours 10:00am and 2:00pm, but before 8:00pm. Stayed home again, no package or driver showed. Called customer service, asked them where my package was, they said it was delayed and would be delivered tomorrow. I asked for a guarantee that it would be delivered and they said they would assign an agent to it and monitor the delivery to insure it got there. Once again, the package and driver never showed. I called back again, same story package is delayed and will be there tomorrow. I asked if they could hold it for pick up and I would pick it up. He said yes and then scheduled it for pick up, gave me the location. That next day I went to pick it up, was told the driver tried delivering it on 3 separate times and no one was there. I told them that was a lie, I told him the truth and how the driver never showed up and how we were there waiting on them to show anh how many times I called trying to find where my package was and when it would be delivered.He said the package was sent back but the got the manager envolved and she actually found the package on the truck getting ready to be sent back. Don't use FedEx!

Answer: They would leave note that they would attempt to "redeliver", even if you were home when they claim they allegedly attempted the first time and they did not even knock so you can come out to receive your package. In my case, they said they will attempt to redeliver yesterday. Guess what? They did not and i receive an email saying i will have to pick it up from whatever branch. I told them that if i had to come out to go somewhere to get my package, I would've just gone directly to the shipper and the shipper would'nt have had to pay fedex for sucky no service.
