My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Additionally, their tracking system provides detailed updates, allowing customers to stay informed about their shipments' whereabouts. However, there are areas for improvement. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
In my last review I left the tracking number to prove I was legit. Someone please tell me, are they messing with me? It was the same situation out for delivery for days and then I receive a text at 4:07 in the morning saying it will be rescheduled for Friday, This AFTER I had opted out of text updates! So, same horrible service with twists. Texts at 4 and 7 in the morning AND the package never arrived. This tracking number to prove I'm serious, **************656. THEY ARE SO BAD!
Don't meet their delivery timelines. When they finally do deliver packages are accompanied by unexpected charges. Service is terrible and options for what to do are not customer friendly. Automated messages are not customer friendly.
Packages left by the front door of our security building, when all the driver has to do is call in on the call box to be buzzed in to the lobby; where they usually leave all of the packages in a big pile instead of bringing them to the unit. I had a package coming that I was at home waiting for, and they left unable to deliver notes on the front door 3 days in a row while I was by the phone waiting for them to call. I would have buzzed them in if they had just used the call box. Beyond absurd. Frequently packages for our building are left across the street at another Condo building, and we get some of theirs. These too are left by the front door quite frequently. Just use aUSPS or UPS, the latter are vastly improved over what they were. FedEx only gets one star because I cannot leave zero stars.
With a few exceptions, I've only used Fed-Ex for returns of online purchases. Recently, after hours of frustration trying to get a refund by returning two items that I purchased from Walmart online (the second refund I never received), I discovered that Fed-Ex is no longer guaranteeing ANY deliveries. Not only that, when you use their tracking numbers, all you get day after day, is the following message, "Unfortunately we are unable to retrieve your tracking results at this time. Please try again later." Because I had to send a package to a friend, I checked with a UPS store, and they only guarantee overnight deliveries. Then I checked with USPS, they seemed the best way to go because I got all the information I needed with their tracking number, and I could see for myself on their website that my package arrived at its destination. This time, at least, the Federal Government came through for me.
Unfortunately fed ex doesn't really care if their drivers leaves packages outside of a building for individuals to snatch packages. I was outside of the building waiting for a package to arrive for the 3rd time. Whether or not it was this individual who left the the fedex sticker previously on my door or inside of the building. I was outside of my building observing the driver to see exactly what he would do. I wasn't surprised he rrang the bell for a quick second while looking at his cell phone, leaves the package at the door and heads off to his truck. I told the young man "REALLY" he ignored me. He came out of his truck and I told him "You guys have to wait for someone to answer before you leave the package exposed outside for someone to grab". He replied "I DON'T CARE"! He abruptly pulled off. So I decide to take pictures of the license plate and the individual. Here is the tracking number**************906
I ordered by mistake the same product twice. BongoUS customer service contacted me helped me out and cleared up my mess. Absolutely super service! Thank you BongoUS and Julisa in the customer service.
Sent a box to my daughter.It was damaged. The box had 5 items in it. Fed ex returned the box to me with a damaged item. I wrote a letter to my daughter. The person at fed ex wrote on the back of my letter. To The Parents! The shipment that was being sent to your daughter was damaged. So, the shipment is being ewsent back to you. I'm sure with God's help it will get to your daughter next time. God bless you all!

I sent out a package on Saturday and paid shipping out of my own pocket just to find out the buyer was a scam. I was told on Saturday I could have the package returned to me and file for a refund. I called today after my package was received to file for my $357 refund just to be told it wasn't eligible! I was given false information and am now out of $357!
I was supposed to receive a package, yesterday. Based on the tracking, it was not sent to my residence, even though, Fed Ex claimed that they attempted to delivery it at 2:15pm. But, it was at the wrong location. I live in the Bronx and they sent it to Yonkers! What is worse is that it is difficult to get a hold of customer service because of their automated system. There is no option to speak to customer service. Horrible organization!

Fedex is incompetent at logistics. They are sending my package via the scenic tour. It's like a bouncing ball. I'm in the Cincinnati area. They sent my package from Memphis TN (south of Cincinnati) to Greenwood, IN, a suburb of INDIANAPOLIS, well north of Cincinnati. The damn truck probably drove THROUGH Cincinnati on its route from Memphis to Indy. Then they sent it on into Indianapolis for another extra day of transport. The snow storm was well over at the time they bypassed Cincinnati to go to Indy. This isn't the first time they've bounced my packages between locations instead of getting it to the correct hub on the first try. It has been over 1 week this has been going on, and I still DON'T have an estimated delivery date. Yet my package was only a few hundred miles away, several days ago. Even USPS would have had my package to me sooner.
This is what happened. A signature is required for my delivery, so I made an arrangement to have my package delivered, and left my phone number for FedEx to text me. After waiting until after 3:00 PM without a delivery, email, or text I called their customer service number. What I received from customer service was a canned message telling me that my package is "out for delivery" that was a lie! Finally, after screaming REPRESENTATIVE several times to the virtual assistant, I connected with a live person. I requested a hold on the package for pick-up the next day. When I call FedEx the following morning, the manager stated that the package was not there and to check back on Monday. They wasted two days of my time and money! I did not pick-up the package, FedEx can keep it!
The drivers do the least amount of work as they can. They don't follow direction and are disrespectful. They drive on my lawn and leave a gouge deep in the dirt because they don't know how to drive or just don't care. They left my rug on my driveway in the pouring rain. I make sure to add a note LEAVE PACKAGE ON PORCH with no change. For such a major delivery service you'd think they would step up their game. Whenever I see a FedEx truck dropping off my package I expect the worst.
I paid to have my package re-routed because it required a signature and was supposed to be delivered at a time when i was at work. All good, paid the fee rerouted the package this was day 1. Day 1 delayed to day 2 rerouted back to my home. Day 2 delayed will be here day 3. Day 3 delayed will be here Day 4 which is a Saturday. It is home delivery however it is still showing as being on the truck in the neighboring town same place that it has been since day 1. I call customer support who assures me that it is on the truck and will be delivered today (day 4) however I know it will not be delivered today because the guy that delivers to this area does not deliver on Saturday. It will be day 6 of my package being on his truck not being sent. FedEx I will never use you again. You need retraining! BTW I can't even get the 5.00 and change that I paid on day 0 to get the package sent to my office less than a mile from my house back. SHAME ON YOU!

It's simple. My last two experiences with Fedex has been HORRIBLE. The packages are always and damaged. I just purchased something from Wal-Mart and it's being shipped by Fedex and again the package is delayed and no date given as to when I will receive my package.

I ordered a series of novels off of Amazon but they were stolen by the FedEx delivery driver. I literally have it on my security cameras; The FedEx truck drives passed my house twice then right after the truck disappears for the second time, the package is marked delivered "to the front door"... Except it's not. The truck didn't stop, the driver didn't get out, and my front door is just as empty today as it was last week when FedEx said my package delivered.
I call support every other day and they say the exact same thing every time, "We're investigating it" as if it takes a whole week to just ask the delivery driver where my package is. I'm lucky that Amazon-- unlike FedEx-- isn't trash; I told Amazon support about this and sent them the footage and in the same day of emailing them, I already have a response that they're sending a replacement package free-of-charge.
I tried to upload the actual video footage from my security cameras but this site doesn't allow video for some reason. I would link screenshots of emails and text messages from FedEx about the investigation and what not-- but I don't have any.
Edit: After signing up for the site, the option to add a video appeared so the security camera footage is live now.

Use USPS, UPS, or literally anything else. Never ever use FedEx.

I have never once had a good experience with fedex! Recently I missed a delivery and requested a re delivery attempt the next day through a FedEx employee over the phone. What that employee failed to tell me was that it wasn't guaranteed that it would actually be re attempted. So I sat around waiting at home the next day waiting for the package to sent to me but nothing came. And only when I called and asked for the whereabouts of my package did they tell me it's not a guarantee that my package would be sent out again. Now I have wasted an entire day in which I had originally planned to be productive. I truly wish companies would stop using fedex as a delivery service and just stick to Canada post. If you ever have an option, NEVER CHOOSE FEDEX!
I ordered a $200 pair of boots from Timberland. They were never delivered to my home. They did an investigation and came to the conclusion that it was delivered here anyway. They gave me a time of 252 that it was delivered. I went back on my cameras and they were never even here I have tried several times to to get a person to speak with me and they will not do it. I told him I'd like to speak with someone because they weren't here and I checked my cameras and they canceled the whole thing. Would not even get back with me. They know they weren't here and they stick me with $200. I have proof that they weren't here and they still won't work with me. They are all a bunch of liars and I have proof!

If I could rate FedEx a -10 I would. My father's remains were sent by the funeral home to my home address. The delivery date was supposed to be Feb. 27th and then they delayed it to the 28th and now they are saying March 1st with no guarantee. At this rate I will not have my father's remains for the funeral. Fed Ex is prioritizing other packages such as clothing, documents and purchases over remains needed for a funeral. This is just disgusting. I even offered to go pick it up from the warehouse and was told there is no customer service there- I can't go there... SHAME ON FED EX! On top of grieving my father' loss they can't even get me his remains as promised. Each person in customer service I speak to doesn't care that I won't have his remains for the funeral. I'm just so sickened. DO NOT USE FED EX!

My order required MY signature (direct signature) on it in order to be delivered. The website and instructions stated that if I couldn't sign for it I could send a QR code to someone and have them sign for it OR it would be sent to a location where I could receive it. Why was someone allowed to sign for my package without checking ID or verifying that I had given permission for someone else to sign for it for me? I will never willingly deal with FedEx again. This is careless on FedEx's part and it's obviously the workers are only there for a paycheck.

We waited all day to receive the pkg because it requires a signature. It never came. We called and were told they didn't think we were home so they did not delivery, but would be back the next day. They lied, and no one came. I called and they apologized and said it would come the next day. It did NOT
Finally late the 3rd day my overnight life saving RX arrived
This is unacceptable. The first guy should have left a note, or called us by phone, or went to the other door we have 2 front entrances
They should always leave a door tag according to their policy

Ordered new AC unit from Home Depot. They shipped FedEx, and it got to Troutdale, OR Fed Ex center midnight 7/22. Tracker showed it was delivered to me 10:30 am 7/23, but I refused it. THAT IS A LIE! I was home all morning and no one came. Spent hours on phone to fix error and get my AC before 100 degrees temp starts 7/24 for 6 days! Someone promised delivery 4pm 7/23. FedEx truck came to neighbor at 3:30 pm. Driver said he saw the AC this morning but couldn't lift the 120 lbs. into his truck so he left it in the warehouse! I am certain the contract supervisor entered that lie to cover up the fact that driver failed to deliver. I drove to Troutdale warehouse to pick up my AC in person, but was refused entry. Refused deliveries are returned to sender, so I may NEVER get the AC, certainly not for 5-day 100-degree heat predicted starting tomorrow! Please NEVER order anything from any seller who ships FedEx!
Employees are trained to pass fault to customer. I have caught several customer service reps in lies. Forced them to come clean, then they still don't have answers to my questions. They talk over me, they jump forward to side track me but I still catch them in lies. I have closed my account due to my clientele being very unhappy with their shipments. PHUCK OFF FEDEX
I order car parts from Rock Auto on a Friday. The parts were shipped from California three days later on a Monday. Tracking the package says i will recieve my package on Wednesday of the same week it was shipped. Its now Saturday of that same week and i still have not recieved it. If we will all stop being stupid, and stop using this pathetic company, they will eventually have to close their doors!
This package was suppose to be delivered on Wed. The 3rd. They kept changing the delivery day. Out of the boxes, one was marked "delayed".
FedEx also claims they picked my package up from Chewy.com in Portland, there is no Chewy in Portland. There tracking (box 3) time traveled, it went from FL at 1pm to OR at 2pm then to TX at 11am all in the same day.
