My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
FedEx is a terrible company they are constantly late with delays, they treat your cargo like trash, and damage packages regularly, there's no reason that this company should be in business...

I am camping at my door waiting for a delivery, and I get a text saying "We tried and nobody was there to sign". And guess what? I cannot pick it up at a location, that's just not an option apparently, despite me having picked up other packages from Fedex at location less than 5 miles away from me.
This is the absolute WORST service I have encountered during my 28 years of existence on this planet Earth. You can't even call a person to explain the situation to them, instead you are left on some Bot who can't understand that I AM HERE, I AM READY TO GET THE PACKAGE FOR THREE DAYS NOW, WHAT ELSE DO YOU WANT FROM ME?!

FedEx never, not once, has delivered a package on time. All the packages have been 6-7+ days late, personal experience. I will never purchase anything from businesses that use FedEx
I swear they have monkeys driving around these packages with no care as for the people who ordered them. I ordered a desk that was supposed to be here Monday of this week (10/18/21) and it is currently Thursday (10/21/21) and every day, they have pushed my delivery date back. Not to mention, I ordered my girlfriend a gift for her birthday on September 25th, ITS OCTOBER 21, A MONTH LATER AND STILL HAVE NOT GOTTEN IT. I don't know why FedEx is still a business, but no one is satisfied and we need to shut them down. You guys are the worst at delivering and caring for customers, I will pay money to never use FedEx again.
I live in a midsize city with a population of a 100k but it services 200k with the sorounding area. Yet after one attempt I get a final notice saying my delivery has to be picked up at a location on the opposite side of town, when I get there its closed! Only open 1hr in the morning and 1hr in the evening, could they make it any more inconvenient?
Now I know to avoid online sellers who use this company, lesson learned.

I have had them push back delivery on my latest package several times now. This has happened many times before. The only worse organization I've dealt with is the USPS.

I sent a package to my grandson from GA to EL-Paso and the address was missing 1 digit I called Fedex the ensured me that the package would be intercepted and the missing digit would be added, however when I called them back they told me it was delivered, however I was informed that the address was no a valid address and the package would be returned. They told me they will talk to the driver at the end of the day it's been almost 5 days now and up to now they cannot get the package, when I called customer service they were very rude and continued to tell me someone will call me up till now I am still awaiting a call from Fedex. This is terrible it's my first grand child and now he has no Christmas gift. This is so hurtful Fedex has given me no compensation up to now.
I've had many good experiences with FedEx in years past, especially with art supply deliveries, and several delivery drivers have been outstandingly friendly and helpful, but this last year has been a nightmare! What's going on?
It seems malicious and intentional to leave packages in the rain when there is an unobstructed porch six feet away, and this has happened several times.
The last straw was when they threw a heavy box of soap and personal care products from Commonwealth Soap Company off the truck at the road and bent the post of the mailbox. I saw this occur as I was doing lawn work at the time. There's no way to put a good spin on this. Even when you are right there to see it, and with doorbell cameras as well, they do things like this!
FedEx was of no help at all and Commonwealth Soap Company rep said they forwarded the info to their shipping dept. but they still use them as the default carrier.
I no longer order from companies that use FedEx exclusively without another shipping option because recent experiences have been uniformly bad.

The driver was so lazy. He delivered to my neighbor on the 2nd floor. But my delivery was dropped at a random apt on the 1st floor but another problem. I live on the 3rd floor. So I had to carry 3 boxes up the stairs myself. The email for delivery confirmation said delivered at door. Sure a random apt. When I called FedEx to complain. They took all the info said someone would call me back. I waited til Tuesday nothing from FedEx. So I sent them a email. Nothing. FedEx Sucks.The apt office where I live refuses to except FedEx pkgs because the driver will try and drop at the office without even trying to deliver to residents. So it's been a week since this happened and FedEx hasn't even tried to contact me. They don't care. I have another pkg coming I'm sure it will ended up somewhere but my apt. Thanks for nothing FedEx

Fedex was paid for 2 day shipping took 5 days. Called them no help. "Sorry for the Inconvenience" is their only response. Arranged to have a repair man fix my furnace based on 2 day delivery. Paid $350 for repairman to come fix. However no part arrived. Called them again empty sorry's without any attempt to determine where the issue was. Now I have cold weather and must heat my house with electric heaters while I am on a trip out of town. Which increased my electric bill and by 11.00 a day. Emailed the CEO of Fedex about my experience and get an Angela Q. Representative to call. I explained the situation which she said she got the letter I emailed the CEO. She would be willing to reimburse me the additional shipping cost that I paid but any other incidentals they were not responsible for. I could file a claim with them and they would consider it. I would also like every company or individual to know if you utilize Fedex as your shipping method I will not purchase any product from you and would highly recommend that everyone boycot Fedex and their lack of service.

Additionally I have filed a complaint with Federal Trade Commission in regards to Fedex Fraudulent practices. I have also email the FW Smith CEO of Fedex on this matter without an adequate response. I would encourage all individuals with this complaint to file a report as well.

I shipped a letter (FedEx Pak) standard overnight on 12/22 to myself at another location and was charged $47.55 - for delivery the next day. I did not receive it (totally panicked!) until 12/29/22. When I called to challenge the charge, I LITERALLY was told by Diane, our account representative, that they could not guarantee it or credit us the charge and that "every other carrier has the same problem." When I said, "But I didn't use every other carrier, I used FedEx," she again reiterated the same thing. I swear I will NEVER EVER use FedEx again.
They're garbage.Customer service was bad, I didn't even get the package. If you ever need something to be delivered consider using another company. The experience was so horrible.

I paid to have a package overnighted from Phoenix AZ to Montana.
They have a hub in California however instead of my package going there, they chose to route it through Tennessee. 1500 MILES AWAY.
After calling fedex SEVERAL times and getting NOWHERE, the package that I PAID EXTRA to have here overnight is STILL on a truck and will not be delivered ON TIME.
DO NOT USE FEDEX FOR ANY SHIPPING.
THE US POST OFFICE WOULD HAVE BEEN FASTER WITH REGULAR DELIVERY AT NO CHARGE.

I live a very metropolitan city and have several terrible experiences with getting merch delivered by this company. The mediocrity of service, negligence of people's products and downright incompetence by management to fix the problem in any measurable way is astonishing. This last delivery, though, takes the cake of all my other terrible experiences. ALL packages had been opened upon arriving at my apartment! This is a brand new modular couch that now needs to be returned. The merchandise was all damaged. There are parts missing. The new couch must go back to the manufacturer, now. There's still a package that is missing. There was an unexpected weeklong delay with all the packages at the "hub" station in Brooklyn But maybe the most disturbing thing here is how anyone working for a shipping company could think that delivering packages in this condition is acceptable in any way, shape, or form. This is just one in a long line of terrible experiences with these goons. The arrogance here is now they want more of my time to speak with me about the crappy experience so they can do their job better next time. F-YOU Fedex! You're all F-UPs that work there!

None- all products were damaged. One box looked like it was dropped off a truck on the LIE. There are LITERALLY Tire Track Marks on the top of the box that was opened and arrived with tape to close it up. Two of the items inside are completely damaged and will require a return.
For the last four days Fedex has given me the same message: Package will be delivered by end of day. It was in Tacoma at least four days ago. What is the problem? Put it on a truck and deliver it!

FedEx is one of the worst shipping service after DHL. Don't ever ship anything unless you aren't concerned to pay 50-100 % tax even for a toy car, this is the fate of fedex. First of all my product isn't worth 45 $, it was hardly around 20$ second of all they charged me almost 100% taxes on 45$ which is not written anywhere in the law book of Customs. They just want to intentionally Rip customers pocket in the name of Customs, this isn't genuine Bill from them. They're Just making the customer pay their taxes from our pocket for the second time when we've already paid at the time ordering! Anyone from India please don't choose FedEx instead get it shipped from local post office of that respective country so that it would easily clear customs and be delivered door step through india post. Because when I got a similar value & sized product the Ukraine when sent through local Ukraine post it easily reached my hands in 15-20 days without any hassle and it also cleared customs without any charges. So please do not prefer FedEx and Dhl at any cost. They are literally pain in $#*!!
In the past two weeks FedEx has lost 3 of my packages from 3 different companies, followed my tracking numbers then they stopped at the distribution hub could not find Recipient, how is that possible the post office can find me, Amazon can find me, and UPS does not have any trouble finding me where are my packages? DON'T KNOW. You can not contact anyone and you must be the shipper to get any info.
Just within this week I have had 2 drivers literally flat out lie. I was waiting for a package on Fri and it said it was supposed to be delivered before noon (my company paid priority next day) and at 1203 suddenly the website said "no one home attempted delivery" but my husband was outside waiting for the package because it was computer equipment. They don't do anything for you on customer service but say."we can try again on Monday" but I needed the equipment for Sat and they don't let you pick up or anything on weekends for priority next day. Today we waited for a package that said "out for delivery will be delivered by end of day" and at 123 it changed to "security issue can't deliver due to security restrictions on property" but there is no reason at all. My apts arent gated there is nothing going on that would prevent them from delivering they just decide they don't want to and lie. I hate FedEx and if you can avoid them then do yourself a favor and use USPS or UPS or something that isn't going to make your blood pressure boil.

FedEx has ALWAYS been my go-to delivery service until the last few years. According to tracking, package arrived at FedEx center on Feb 18 and has gone out for delivery everyday with daily report on website "Weather Delay, Delivery not attempted." Utter nonsense. My daughter has faithfully watched for the truck -- no show. Yep, it's been cold, but not icy or snowy. Best I can tell, it's because we're rural and they just don't want to drive out. A call to the hub got the response, "Our drivers won't deliver in inclement weather." then admitted that the weather hasn't been bad. He said my best recourse would be to have the package routed to the Walgreens in town and I can pick it up there with no problem. Further, he was happy to give me the web link address to set this up. Really? *I* get to drive into town for shipping I paid for to get the package to my door?
The university I work for dropped our FedEx contract about 8 years ago in favor of UPS. At the time, I didn't support the decision. I used to hate UPS because of cost, but they have consistently delivered source-to-door regardless of weather except once when the snow was too deep to get down the road.
The FedEx brand is truly tarnished when the premiere shipping service is being dropped by companies in favor of the once inferior service. They have become unreliable in my direct experience. No more FedEx for me unless required by circumstances.

I shipped a laptop abroad to a customer, fedex made me fill out some forms along the way for the parcel to clear customs. Then proceed to deliver it to the WRONG PERSON.
Now they won't compensate us for any more than $100 (which isn't even my currency) for THEIR mistake!
To make things laughable their customer service team haven't replied to me since last week and I've emailed everyday!
