My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
Fedex is the worst delivery service in this world i paid for instant shipping and still haven't got my package it's been over a week and all I get on the phone is rude customer service hung up on
I would give them negative stars if I could! When paid to deliver a package by a specific date they simply don't care. I had a package that should have been delivered on August 27th they never attempted delivery it wa me a paid overnight package shipped on Saturday should have been at my home Monday. Even after several calls they had no idea where my package was it wasn't scanned until 11:30pm they delivered the day after. I than had to pay to have it overnighted to my daughter since it arrived late. FedEx refuses to refund me for having to ship the package they failed to deliver when they were paid to deliver for.
I was scheduled to have some urgently needed IT equipment from B&H delivered yesterday. I saw the driver pull up and put packages in our drop box so I initially assumed it was a complete delivery. But he sat in his van for ages so I decided to start walking down our drive in case he was looking for a phone number to call to let me know he needed a signature but he took off without leaving one critical component.
The door tag left on the box stated there was no-one home to sign for the package - even though he made no attempt to reach me.
I called the FedEx office to explain I needed this urgently and was told the 2 options were to wait for them to try and deliver today - but the driver still wouldn't phone so presumably the same thing would happen, or to redirect the package to a FedEx office and pick it up - but I had to do that online.
I went online and arranged a redirect to the main Cool Springs office hoping I would be able to pick up last night as we were going to be in the area, but then received email confirmation it wouldn't get there until this morning.
Needless to say, it's not here so it's been a complete waste of time and gas, and after a further 30 minutes on the phone with their so called help desk, I am told it won't be ready to pickup until sometime Monday or maybe even Tuesday - and I cannot redirect to a closer office or pick up from their warehouse.
They admit it's their fault but are completely unwilling to do anything to fix the situation.
How do they get away with such appalling service?

Fedex driver constantly enters the delivery was at front door. Rarely happens, probably a different driver. My deliveries are on the ground at roadside by the mailbox, in the middle of my driveway, but NOT AT MY FRONT DOOR. Trying to contact anyone at Fedex is a joke, you go around in circles on their automated customer service and never get a HUMAN so you can file a complaint.

If you want to pay 3x the price, even with a merchant account, and be sure that your package arrives damaged, because they kick around their packages, then be sure to use FedEx. Also, you will never receive reimbursement to a damage claim, ever, under any circumstance will they do that. Absolutely the worst shipping provider I have ever used - I've used shipment services both personally and commercially for large accounts that handle hundreds of shipments a day. FedEx is THE WORST PROVIDER. DO NOT USE FEDEX UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

I would have given them 0 stars instead of 1 if I could. The only good is my regular delivery lady is very nice and courteous. Now the ugly, I have had so many problems with shipping times and service it is ridiculous. Standard deliveries with my regular driver seem to be hit and miss, but when I receive items with a day or two service there is almost always an issue, never on time and the other drivers are rude and ignorant. I have watched them literally throw my packages like a bail of hay up my steps to my door damaging the contents. There was another guy who kept wedging the packages in front of my door so I could not get out of my house. I got a hold of customer service about it since it took me over 10 minutes to get out of my door and I had to damage the package and contents to open the door. If there was a fire in my house I could have literally been killed because of this jerk. Customer service told me oh well, and that I needed to take it up with the company I purchased from. That makes no sense at all and was a total loss to me of over $50. Nothing was ever said to any of the drivers. I have tried to get in touch with customer service at least 12 times in the past year and was only successful talking to someone once and they told me what I stated previously, that it wasn't their problem, but was. I get orders from different delivery companies at least 4 times a week so let me tell you through experience, DO NOT TO USE FEDEX, if there is any other option for you.
My package arrive from Irvine CA to Los Angeles CA after that they move my package to chino ca why if I living in Hawthorne CA doesn't make sense inclusive they send me email alert about delivery that day I waste my day waiting..

I live in a secured apartment building and the first door you open up and then there's a panel on the wall you pushing buttons to bring my apartment and I'll buzz you in the FedEx driver cannot seem to get that through his head and he just sent the packages through the first door packages have been stolen before because of FedEx doing them management has complained and the residents have complained but FedEx just don't care they don't do anything about it.
I will understand if the package has to be delivered taking a long time, but they say it is going to be delivered tomorrow. I called them to make sure to send a message to the driver since contacting driver by phone call is impossible they sad. (it is harder than contacting the president of US) The result: they ruined my days for 3 days. I was home trusting their apologies and promise that it will be delivered tomorrow. It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday and now they say it will be delivered tomorrow on Friday. I called everyday to ensure I can receive the package. Every time they said it will be definitely delivered tomorrow. I had to cancel important appointments and I am in anger and anxiety if it happens again tomorrow. They are very irresponsible although it is signature required package which means the sender spent extra money for the package. The things that makes me more upset is the tracking info says I was unavailable or business was closed. The driver is too lazy and putting false information. I was here all the time and I never heard door knock or even a single call. It happened in the past too. The driver must be fired! Fedex must educate them properly!

Expected a doorstep delivery for a sofa, but was left at bottom of the steps without even a knock at the door. No way to get it up without hiring another company to move it.
They tell you you package, requiring a signature, will be delivered on the 10th. You take off work to be home to sign then at 6:15pm they text you it will be delayed, 6:15pm all day waiting and then it is to be delivered on the 11th and you take off work to be home all day again. A call to FedEx on the 11th at 4:45pm assured me the package will be delivered, the driver will call when he is close. I waited, then I checked the website at 6:20pm to find it is delayed, they didn't even bother to text, I had to log in and see it is delayed myself. Called again and am now waiting for a call back from the distribution center, I'm not counting on it.

If zero stars was an option, I would have chosen that. Can pick up or deliver in a timely fashion. Doesn't have anyone to help. Only automated or non-english speaking help. If you don't have a tracking numver FORGET EVEN TRYING! I would pay double shipping if it neant NOT usung FedEx.

The driver had my package in he's truck for 4 days and kept saying that the weather was bad and of cause it was a lie so I tell them to send it back to seller so they can send it back to me by UPS or usps FedEx suck
AFTER you pay for your shipping and ship your package Fedex will charge you additional money which can be 2-3 times what you paid originally! You are at their mercy and there is nothing you can do about it. They have all kinds of formulas for upcharging you AFTER you ship! STAY AWAY!

Their online tracking is not kept up to date and not the first time I've experienced this I have a package that showed sitting in the same place for nearly a week with no movement it was a gift for someone that has now passed and I still do not have the package it was ordered on the 6th today is the 22nd it's not anywhere near the estimated delivery date as when I ordered it and I still do not have it however oddly i placed orders from the same vendor that were shipped through the same carrier FedEx after this particular order and I received those but still haven't received the first order so if you're needing something by a certain date I would think twice if FedEx is the carrier

I ordered a new iPhone 12 from Virgin online. On January 17 when I arrived home from work I found the notice of delivery from Fedex on my door. The day after, I went to pick up the package to Penguin at 250 University Avenue inside the Rexall. The officer said that the package was already picked up at 13:37 pm and it was a man who picked it up. This is very annoying, and they appear to have given my package to a thief without confirming their identity properly or getting the delivery notice. They said maybe the employee who released the package did not check the ID properly- how can someone pick them up a package without any receipt and ID, or even know that there is a package to pick up in my name? I called Fedex and they told me that they will investigate and will notify me within 24 hours by email or phone. In 48 hours I called them back, but they had already closed they case without a solution. It was very annoying. I called virgin and told them what happened, saying if I had to pay for the phone I'll bring this case to the police. Virgin said that I don't need to worry about the payment, they will contact Fedex to investigate. Very unprofessional for such a big company.

I had ordered a metal and glass bookcase which was to be 55 pounds. I asked that FedEx make sure I was home before they left it since I have a bad back. I made plans to have someone here on the scheduled date of delivery. HOWEVER, it was delivered 4 days early and just left lying ACROSS my doorway creating a hazard and also making it difficult for me to get in and out of my apartment. I called FedEx as it had only been minutes since I had seen the truck pulling away (he had not made sure I was home) and asked that they have the driver come back and move it. Her response was "call the company that you ordered it from". WHAT did she think they were going to do? I even said to her that the driver did not follow directions and had created a hazard in the event of a fire or something and I either had to get in or out in a hurry. She did not care and hung up on me! Why can we not chose who will be making deliveries - except that UPS is not any better! If you are a senior citizen like myself, what are you to do?
