My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
I had the worse experience with a delivery of the package, which is still not received. Getting answers has been most difficult.

They replied promptly to a follow up when overstock.com had an inventory error. Total refund will follow very quickly. I recommend them!
Customer service - supervisors- drivers are very useless, they don't solve any problem, packages haven stolen or lost. Don't deal with them

I've never had a problem with FedEx before but within the last two days I've seen FedEx in a whole different view. My fiance ordered my a live baby gecko. A live animal it was supposed to be here December 2@4:30pm and we got notified that they kept my package at the facility instead being on transit. Following today December 3, we got notified that yesterday it got to ABQ, NM at 7pm. And it would be delivered in the morning. I waited and waited all day and still nothing, Then got an update that it would be here at 4:30 and still nothing so we called and talked to representative who told us it would be here by 6 the latest. It's 8:20pm and I just got off the phone with 2 representatives who gave me two different delivery times, not considering that this is a live animal and it should be 1 priority. I've very disappointed. They told me first that it was still at the facility and not even in transit. Then went to switching it and saying it's still in route. Terrible service with FedEx. It's going to be 9pm and I still haven't received anything from FedEx. I've been waiting for two days. I won't be using FedEx again. I'm absolutely not satisfied.

3 packages sent out same day from PA to Northern Colorado. 3 day express. All were scheduled for Sunday. One was delivered Tuesday. One was here Wednesday and 3rd suppose to be here Sunday, Tuesday than the never ending pending.
I got updated it was in Thorton Co at 6am Wed. Pending.
Now guess what? Friday delivery and package is in Utah!

Add SGW handling charges shipping and outrageous prices since bigtime bidders are on there now. For free donated items. 3 broken bracelets (fedex shipping) mixed up ordered items and cc fees because of not enough employees.

I was waiting from 8:30a when I got home from work until after 2pm for a package that I had to sign for, this was to be the 3rd attempt, when I called the FedEx number the day before and asked if they could drop it off at a FedEx site in Norwood where I live they said I had to have Comcast call them and tell them to send it somewhere else, so I decided I'll just go home after work and wait for it, it was supposed to arrive by 12 pm then I got another message saying there was a delay and it would arrive by 2pm. I was sitting home waiting for it, I live in a condominium and my doorbell never rang to alert me to go to the door and sign for my package instead the drive left a final notice and now my package is to be shipped back to where it came from, there's no excuse for this kind of service. And now what am I supposed to do, I work full time I don't have time to run around to Randolph and pick up a package
I think there is definitely something wrong with the leadership at Fed Ex. I have called customer service the 1800 number to postpone a delivery and received a confirmation number they would message the Ontario, CA office because that is where packages are distributed in my area. I was going on vacation and my package could have been stolen and I was worried. I've had this experience multiple times so I even tried to set an account online to manage my deliveries online but had to answer questions from 30 years ago in order to open an account. Frankly I can't remember phone numbers from 30 years ago I've had and I don't even think their verification system is correct. I have called technical support to do this and frankly fed ex doesn't care no one called me back. If you don't answer questions right they lock you out of the system for a couple of days. Ridiculous. When you call customer service and are at their mercy they say they will message the distribution center in Ontario California. They just ignore the message to postpone packages and deliver it anyway while your gone. Customer service is useless and I have to say that is the responsibility of management because no one left hand knows what the right is doing and they don't care. I ve been wondering if I should go to the Ontario distribution and speak to the management.my self but I'm not going to waste my time. I just won't use their service. They are not customer service oriented they are profit minded and do whatever is best for themselves. I think the delivery drivers are great but there is definitely something wrong with leadership. These people are unbelievable, im told by one rep to schedule a Saturday pick up to call Thursday so I do and then another rep tells me I need to call Friday. So I call Friday to give my tracking # that they verify where its going and the pickup location etc. Now comes Saturday so I sit home waiting Fed Ex express drops off a pkg but still waiting for FedEx ground to show up to pick my pkg up. So 3:20pm I get a call from them and they tell me the driver thinks they have a bad address and ask me to verify my address. They state they didn't have the unit. So now they need to reschedule for soonest pickup is Monday.
1) It was a weekend pickup for a reason, since they give you a pickup time from 8am-8pm.
2) They had the unit # which was a lie, since I gave them the tracking # on the prepaid label when I scheduled the pickup to begin with.
3) They had no excuse not to come the same day when they could have called when they got to the address they stated was "bad" the only thing supposedly missing was the unit they had NO excuse not to call to ask the unit. The address is a private townhouse complex at the top of a hill. The instructions given for pick up was that the pkg was NOT being left outside and someone would be home so they would have had to speak to me regardless.
4) Now I wasted my whole Saturday sitting around waiting for them. Not even bothering to show up to do the pick up I scheduled.
Now that ticks me off
My wife and I ordered two new iPhones from spectrum mobile. The box was delivered on Wednesday July 14th and because my wife works from home this wasn't a problem. So when the package arrived she answered the door and signed for it. When she got inside she noticed the tape looked like it had been peeled back and it seemed light. She opened it up and sure enough it was empty!
We called FedEx right away and they open a claim, we also called spectrum right away and they opened a claim. After a month of going back and forth they denied our claim because they want a police report. Well the milwaukee police can't write up a report because they can't determine if it was stolen in milwaukee or ANYWHERE ELSE it may have been and since it came from Texas we don't know.
Now fedex says they have very good ways to find out who stole it but won't tell us anything. Spectrum says they will know where it is when someone tries to turn it on because all phones have IP addresses so I dont know why you would want to steal one because you can't use it!
So in conclusion fedex won't help us and they are the ones who stole the phones and even though we are long time spectrum customers they aren't doing anything to help us ether so both companies have terrible customer service and I wouldn't recommend ever using ether one!

So FedEx claims they delivered a rather expensive custom-made package we've been waiting on, to a non-existant address, supposedly on our short, deadend street Monday morning. Since then, all efforts to tract down said package by FedEx have failed, so theyre DONE looking! No info from GPS, or driver. UNREAL INCOMPETENCE!
Update- FedEx claims they dont know where their driver was at 11am Monday when he supposedly delivered it. Apparently they dont use GPS. Staggering level of incompetence & ineptness!

Welp, an International manufacturer choose this freight carrier that is sending samples for examination. I tried to sign into my account on my mobile phone and was taken to page that stated FedEx is having issues and to retry. So, I did. That was fruitless. Next, I downloaded the mobile app. Same error message. Then I thought maybe I was goofy, so I asked to verify my account ID. I received email back verifying what I already knew as correct. Then I thought, I must need to reset my password as I have not signed in for many months to tell FedEx where to leave delivery should I not be around to sign for it. Again, put a request into reset. That email link, took me to a blank page. WTF? Next logical is to call FedEx, right? OMG, wrong! I finally got to Edward in tech support after FedEx's useless voice recognition. USELESS! HE COULD NOT HELP OR TELL ME WHY. WTF? No wonder why I shun far away from FedEx when it comes to shipping. EDWARD IN TECH SUPPORT, cemented that belief again. Even when I asked to speak with his manager, EDWARD, stated there is no upper level support. Just don't FedEx. Rely on DHL or TNT for International, and UPS for local stuff. Run away from FedEx, and save yourself from a Friday headache.

I shipped a small package to UK on Feb 9 2020 weighing mere 1.8 kg (one point 8 kilograms). I was shocked when FedEx billed me for 18 kg (EIGHTEEN KILOGRAMS) of courier charges. Because of this FedEx's glaring error the courtier shipping cost skyrocketed to S$500 dollars and hence attracted a fictitious VAT for item that has no commercial value. I wrote to FedEx to lodge a complaint complete with all evidences and demanded for a credit note for such serious mistake committed by their FedEx staff. They admitted the mistake and raised a credit note for courier charges caused by their own mistake. However, they refused to raise a credit note for the VAT charges arising from this very same mistake and demanded me to pay for their mistake. I protested numerous times and yet they refused to cancel their invoice billed based on the erroneous act committed by FedEx staff. They even told me that if I want I should go claim it back from the UK authority. I was appalled by such bully tactic practice in FedEx who tried to shift the cost deriving from their own mistake and tried victimize a customer of 20 years to pay for their own mistake!
Every single time I am suppose to receive a package via FedEx it's delivered wrong of lost. It's ridiculous!

If I could give negative stars in this review, I would. FedEx has become nothing short of a joke recently. I have been waiting on a large electronic package that needs a signature and they have not even attempted to deliver the package. 3 days in a row they lied and said they attempted delivery... but they must not have noticed that I have cameras that show no attempt or person coming to the door at all. Now they are saying I have to pick it up even though I called them and told them the attempts were a lie. They literally said the delivery person stated they tried to deliver it so that's what they are going to believe... not my cameras. Then they kept asking me about the door tag but no one even came on my porch so I never received a door tag. It's snowing and there are no tracks in the snow or footage of even a truck driving by... are they ghosts? Today I called the shipper who contacted FedEx. They told them they were going to attempt another delivery today before close, and predictably they did not. The worst part is, they updated the tracking notes to say the called me when they never did. FedEx told me there is no way to contact the driver or to confirm if they have delivered anything... so what is to stop them from stealing packages and lying about delivering them? When I asked this question to the customer service rep, they laughed. I have never had a job where I could lie and not work and have zero consequences or accountability. The summation of an investigation is basically asking the driver if they delivered and believing their word, ignoring the proof that says otherwise. This is a dream job for scammers. If anyone is looking to be lazy and steal packages and get paid all day to do it, you should work for FedEx.
Over the years I have only had one instance where i experienced trouble with receiving my package on time.
Worse delivery company ever! I received only one notice saying they missed me and package would be delivered next day and to make sure someone is home to sign for it. We were there all day, have a ring doorbell that records who comes to the door. FedEx driver never came to the door. Latter that evening I received a customer service text saying package has been delayed and would be delivered next day between these hours 10:00am and 2:00pm, but before 8:00pm. Stayed home again, no package or driver showed. Called customer service, asked them where my package was, they said it was delayed and would be delivered tomorrow. I asked for a guarantee that it would be delivered and they said they would assign an agent to it and monitor the delivery to insure it got there. Once again, the package and driver never showed. I called back again, same story package is delayed and will be there tomorrow. I asked if they could hold it for pick up and I would pick it up. He said yes and then scheduled it for pick up, gave me the location. That next day I went to pick it up, was told the driver tried delivering it on 3 separate times and no one was there. I told them that was a lie, I told him the truth and how the driver never showed up and how we were there waiting on them to show anh how many times I called trying to find where my package was and when it would be delivered.He said the package was sent back but the got the manager envolved and she actually found the package on the truck getting ready to be sent back. Don't use FedEx!
