My encounters with FedEx delivery have been a mixed bag. On the plus side, FedEx offers fast and efficient delivery services, often delivering packages ahead of schedule. Their deliveries are hopeless. I have no choice in using Fedex, Chewy ships with them. Not only do they misdeliver 50% of the time, but the times it does get here they left the package on the street in the weather and bait for porch pirates. Getting satisfaction, provided you have fooled the computer into letting you talk to a real person, with customer service is non-existent. We will let you know in 48 hrs they say. NOT. File a claim for restitution with the sender who will contact us they say, only takes six weeks. I have to do all the work, in short. Hopeless!
Incredible as it seems, the USPS is more reliable than FedEx Ground. My packages are always late. Ordered a tree which was sent from South Carolina. It is late and I am concerned that the tree will not survive. Can not get a customer service rep on the phone. This company simply does not care. Use any other delivery company. As noted, the USPS more reliable, incredible as it seems.
Well, if there was a lower rating than 1-satr, FedEx would get it from me! From lost/stolen packages, mutilated boxes upon receiving, delays in delivery, misinformation from multiple locations, unprofessional behavior and so on.
FedEx has completely lost a large item of mine that I shipped and according to their customer service, it was destroyed prior to delivery. Which makes no sense, since the box contained heavy metal item that are almost indestructible. Another package that I was receiving was at a facility approximately 4 miles from my house for more than a week and shows still there according to today's tracking. Verified this by calling customer representative on the phone and receiving the information they had and confirmed location of package. (In regard to the over the phone customer service, it was frustrating trying to get to a live person, but finally did and they spoke broken English and had noise in the background.) So I went to the location of where the tracking and the phone representative confirmed. Then I was told (rudely) that the package was taken from this facility to another facility 3 days ago in order to be ready for home delivery. Then this person just walked away. So I arrived at the other location (which is further away from the delivery address) to be told that the package is still on the semi-truck and won't be unloaded until the following day. (None of this was listed on the tracking of the package). The rep at this location just said there is no way to get the package at this time even though he claims it was there, but sitting on a truck, for what I assume 3 days since it was only 10 minutes away from the other location it was previously at.
To say the least, I will refuse to do business with businesses that use FedEx as a shipping method. UPS and USPS are so much better. Even DHL. How can Amazon (private delivery service) figure out how to deliver products in a reasonable time and have a better tracking system than that of a company specifically there for shipping?!?
I have had very bad experience not just once but twice with the FedEx service.
1. This is about a local ground shipment from Walmart. And the delivery guy gave the packet at wrong address but their system is updated with FedEx tracking saying that delivered at my address outside the front door. Came home that evening, couldn't find the packet outside my door and searched in my neighbourhood and with my neighbors, not there. Finally, decided to raise a complaint on FedEx website and raised a claim. Waited for their investigation and after 3 days, the delivery guy got back that missing packet to my address from a wrong address where he actually delivered wrongly ( may be he is asleep, drunk or just dumb, irresponsible). I can understand mistakes happen. But my packet was already opened by the people at the wrong address.
2. This time it was a international shipment from my home country worth $300 dollars. Believed in FedEx, that was our biggest mistake. After tracking the delivery details on their website, it says, delivered at my address outside my front door on the same day as the above case. After I couldn't find this $300 worth shipment anywhere, raised a complaint to FedEx and told them that a local ground shipment packet was also missing on the same day and may be the delivery guy gave these both at wrong address. After 3 days the local Walmart shipment was got to me from the address where it was delivered wrongly but for the $300 international shipment, FedEx sent a letter saying that package was delivered properly at the correct address and they rejected my claim.
Bottom line is when the delivery guy messed up everything as you can see that one of the local ground shipment was got back to me in next 3 days. How can now FedEx say that the other international shipment is delivered correctly. That is just disgusting.
Lost $300, time more that 1 month in entire process and faith in FedEx.
You guys are the worst. You lost a genuine customer and not just me, you have lost business from all my family members and friends.
This company has gone from being the jewel of the delivery service companies to the bottom of the barrel. Since they outsourced the ground service, it's takes them a solid week to get packages to us from an hour away. 1-2 day ground for USPS and UPS takes FedEx a week.
Two years ago they started leaving packages in the mailbox, which is illegal. The mail lady found them and took them back to the post office and then reported it to FedEx, who never responded. For 6 months we were stuck in a loop and thought someone was stealing the packages. It turned out we were stuck in a war between FedEx and USPS.
I tried to call FedEx but they have insulated themselves from any live phone calls. Finally, I was able to contact a couple of the drivers in person and asked them to stop leaving the packages in the mailbox. Now they drop them at the end of our driveway at the street, 1/2 mile from our house, if they deliver them at all.
So, now the shippers notify us on a daily basis of delivery, exception, delivery, exception for 5-7 days after it is "on the truck for delivery" in Madison. When it does make it here, it gets tossed out of the truck at the road. Within the last month they sent us a photo of a shipment in the mailbox with a notification that the package was left in our garage, 1/2 mile from the mailbox. I could drive to Madison and back 30 times in the time it takes for them to deliver a package.
I am currently waiting for two separate packages that were to be delivered yesterday. The soonest we will see them will be tomorrow but it will most likely be another three days. I believe we are on the outskirts of their service routes so they delay coming out here until they have sufficient packages to make it "worth their while". 1 day service can take 7 days.
Our only recourse has been to choose different suppliers that will use UPS. Would rather give them feedback, but they DO NOT CARE.
FedEx is the most unreliable service. Their excuse is always weather conditions even if it is a sunny day.
This company will screw any you chance it gets. I'll give an example. I am a small business owner, I install stereo equipment in autos. I order 90% of my peiducts from other vendors.
Every single time something is shipped fed ex I lose money. I was supposed to receive my equipment Wed and here we are Friday with a so called weather delay in my area.
Here comes the lying. I live 3 hours from phx where my package sits. The weather is sunny and clear. I call fed ex and the moron on the other end argues with me. According to the idiot on the other end it is snowing here. I look up and see blue sky, 62 degrees and sunny. In Phoenix it's blue sky 71 and sunny.
HEY FED EX WERES THE WEATHER. I LIVE HERE AND I DONT SEE IT. How about you stop lying to your customers before you get sued. Second stop stealing people's money. If packages are late because of your doing or your not doing its your responsibility not mine or the seller. Refund the shipping. You are not immune to the law. I have lost thousands due to "BAD WEATHER " keep it up and you will be forced to pay it all back to all customers. CLASS ACTION INCOMING!

Not only am I a customer of FedEx but I also used to work for a company that dealt with FedEx as our shipper ( if that makes sense) not only were our customers dissatisfied with the unprofessionalism of this company but I am myself am dissatisfied to the fullest instead of giving a delivery date for someone's products why not just say the delivery is still estimated versus saying it's scheduled for a certain date I seriously hate FedEx and I hate when companies use FedEx to deliver merchandise to customers I have been waiting over 10 days for a package that was supposed to come 11 days prior I seriously wish that every establishment used UPS. Even the United States Postal Service is faster and more reliable than FedEx. I hate the people that work there and I hate the company all together instead of them actually doing their jobs you see them making TickTock videos, Snapchat videos, and Facebook videos dancing on the trucks I am so sick of this company they ruined my entire vacation I hope he gets shut down to where no one has a choice but to use USPS or UPS and I mean every word of this

Purchased some parts from my normal supplier in KS., 4 times it was held up in different locations but all for the same reason at each location "unable to read label". Now FedEx, being a shipping company, should have fixed my label at the first location but thought if the folks did not add a new label at the 1st location and were able to send it to the 2nd location we'll hold it for a couple days and try to figger where it goes L8R, KY was 2nd stop, GA. Was 3rd and FL was last stop before it was to come to my door, it took 3 days to make it 200 miles and when they said they dropped it off I got nothing on my door step, this took a total of 14 days with all the delays, called FedEx they said call the shipper, I did and they reshipped my parts another way and it made it here in 3 DAYS! Someone once told me, "the family tree of FedEx looks like an 8 foot 2x4 sticking out of the ground" get the picture

I sent a box to Trinidad & Tobago on 1/6/22. It is now 2/14/22 and the box has yet to arrive. Track it you say? I'd love to but that doesn't help because FedEx.com shows that's its been sitting at the Aguadilla facility in Puerto Rico since 1/9/22! Call the facility you say? I'd love to but FedEx says there's no number to that facility! How the hell is that possible? What are you people doing to FIND MY BOX? I've received ZERO customer service! NO ONE has called to tell me what's been done to track down the box that I paid OVER $500 FOR! ONE CSR has called twice to tell me that she's passing my issue on to "Claims". Did that need 2 calls? NO! But what REALLY threw me right over the edge this evening, was a cold note and a sorry $#*! check for $132 that I got in the mail today from FedEx! THAT DOESN'T EVEN COVER THE $214 I PAID TO SEND THE BOX THAT YOU LOST! NOR DOES IT COVER THE $300 WORTH OF ITEMS THAT I PUT IN THE BOX AND TRUSTED YOU TO DELIVER SAFELY! GET IT TOGETHER FEDEX! I have ordered several packages through them and each time they are late. UPS is much better and more dependable. If you have the choice use UPS.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. FedEx is horrible and whoever the driver is in my area is nothing but a liar. I ordered a package that was supposed to have 2 day delivery back on Aug 14. Finally by Aug 20 I get a notification saying I should receive my 2 packages that day. At 9pm I got an email and text saying my package was delivered. No delivery… looked everywhere and no package was left. I contacted FedEx and created a case. By Sunday night with no delivery I contacted Walmart and they were able to re-order one of my items but the other one was no longer available so they issued a refund. Well today Aug 24 I was at least supposed to receive the re-order. Well I receive a text and email this afternoon saying they attempted delivery but no one was available. My husband has been home all afternoon and I was home around that time as well. Our door bell works and our freakin garage door was even open. PLUS this is not a package that requires a signature. There was not a call tag left either… my husband works for UPS… I know how this is supposed to work. The drivers are lazy liars. At this point I've already talked to a "supervisor" and still have no answers plus am now technically missing 3 packages. Supposedly I'll receive the one that they didn't deliver today, tomorrow. We shall see. I wish I didn't have to deal with FedEx period and could choose which service I want to use. I have no issues receiving stuff from USPS, UPS, or Amazon. This has happened multiple times where they have lost my packages and said they were delivered and I either had to submit to get a refund or they came extremely late. Get it together FedEx! I'm over it!

I tried to print some simple 11x17s on the Fedex/Kinkos site and the process was very difficult. First, there is no quick option to simply print a few single pages. The options are complicated including banners, folded brochures, etc. Second, if you enter special instructions (I wanted to ask that they not scale the print to fit the page) it will not allow you to pay for it. In the process of entering all information I was able to request a pick up time for 11am the next day. Got to the end and the site would not let me check out for the reason above.
So, instead I decided to forgo that and call them after entering the order. Started over and then the only pick up time available was after 5pm the next day. How did I miss out on every available hour in just a few minutes?
I was able to back up and try again. Came back to that point and was able to get the time I wanted by changing the days and then selecting the day I wanted (first sign of poor coding / glitchy site). After I had everything right, I finally clicked to check out and the site said "delivery is unavailable for dd/mm/yyyy hh: mm"
Ugh, I was done. I give up.
I am giving 2 stars instead of one because printing is only one aspect of their site but it is seriously bad.

Sunday 04/25/2021 I receive a notice that a package was delivered to my door.
I was home and had front door open, no package.
At the same time the FedEx truck drives past my apartment without stopping.
I contact FedEx and was told that the package was left at the central mailbox location.
I told them that that was unacceptable and for the driver to come back and deliver it to my door, that's what I paid for.
I was told that the seller I purchased the item uses what is called LAST MILE DELIVERY, where UPS and FedEx drop off the packages at USPS and they deliver them.
I told the person again that it wasn't delivered by USPS and was left in an open insecure location.
I was then told that USPS would be around to secure them.
I then told them that it's Sunday afternoon and USPS wouldn't be around till Monday 4:00pm.
I was told that I needed to take that up with the seller.
At that point I drove over to the mailboxes and found a person shaking my package as if to figure out what was inside.
I confronted the person and it almost escalated to the point where I was about to call the police.
I came back and called FedEx again and was basically blown off.
I then sent a couple of nasty emails to the seller.
That system of shipping is totally unacceptable.
FedEx intentionally held a package that they were INFORMED was a CHRISTMAS GIFT for 2018!
The company promised delivery for anyone ordering before December 21st. I ordered on DECEMBER 17th.
The company shipped on DECEMBER 21st.
The original scheduled date of Delivery was DECEMBER 24th.
FedEx then CHANGES IT TO DECEMBER 26th.
On MONDAY MORNING DECEMBER 24th, CHRISTMAS EVE, THE PACKAGE WAS AT
THE LOCAL DISTRIBUTION OFFICE EARLY IN THE MORNING WAITING TO BE
DELIVERED!
2 HOURS LATER IT SAYS "PACKAGE NOT DUE FOR DELIVERY"!
IT IS CHRISTMAS DAY AND IT IS RUINED! THIS WAS ORDERED IN TIME, FEDEX
KNOWS THAT PEOPLE ARE WAITING ON CHRISTMAS GIFTS AND THEY DO NOT CARE
ABOUT THE CUSTOMER SHIPPING OR THE PERSON RECEIVING THE GIFT!
FEDEX ARE LIARS: THEY PROMISED TO DELIVER ALL ITEMS SHIPPED BY THE 21st FROM THIS COMPANY ON CHRISTMAS EVE!
