I thought this was a good idea but it's too much trouble. You scan your receipts and some of them won't even scan acting like it's something missing on the receipt and everything is plain and clear sometimes I underlined it so they can see that the date and the amount is on the receipt for instance a gas station receipt will not scan. I tried to cash in to get a $10 Visa card. I didn't know if the Visa card was going to be smelled to me or is it going to come up with a barcode on my email. It's very hard to get in touch with anyone from their customer service you have to email you have to wait 24 hours and they don't answer the question. I am not happy with this website I am ready to delete it and maybe try another well-known website that pays out. I still haven't gotten my $10.
I'm all but done with this app. They chose to award points for games - that was THEIR choice. Due to a break in the system somewhere, the app only recognized that I completed the first 2 tasks, rewarding me with a total of 1,064 points out of a total of 17,176 points. I've completed ALL tasks & SHOULD be entitled to 17,176 points. Out of the 1,064 points I was awarded as intended, through the app, customer service awarded me 16,519 for a grand total of 17,******* less than I'm due if their chosen game system worked properly. That's over 7.5 scanned receipts worth of points, so yeah, I'm beyond disgusted I have been told by customer service that it's not their problem there is a glitch in the new system & they can't award me any more points for this game because they've already awarded over 15k & I need to just choose another game. Ok - & what if that one ALSO doesn't work correctly? We're all just supposed to be told, "too bad, so sad OUR system doesn't work. Better luck next time!"?! Crap service!
App boasts it accept all receipts but this is False. If the business is not a well know company the receipts stay at zero points. Also have had issues with the camera not taking the picture of receipts. If receipts are not taken within 14 days of purchase it is not accepted. Reached out to customer service several times via email, explain the problem and was told they would not honor the receipts they have to be within a 14 day period.
I had 187,364 points that I wanted to cash out, but in trying to continue to take snapshots of my receipts, it will not show my points on the receipts? There was no reason for them not to honor my points! I have been racking up these points for two years and have been honest, It was just my husband and my receipts that I snapshot! They did not give me a reason why I was banned from Fetch? The only thing I can think of was that I was ready to cash out… as another reviewer said karma what comes around goes around :)
Fetch is a great way to earn gift cards if you are willing to snap a picture of your receipt! It is super easy and if you buy certain products, be sure to look in the app if there is a special to earn extra points. My mom and I both use this app and have already redeem over $20 worth of gift cards! We have never had a problem with the app or using the gift cards. I highly recommend!
Fetch froze my account without any warning or explanation.I have earned at least two 50.00 gift cards for xmas presents. This app stopped scanning my receipts properly.I had to take 2 or 3 pictures lately.Just to get my points. They called that a " duplicate" for an unknown reason. Not my fault. Also,Fetch stopped letting me get my points from Amazon e-receipts lately also.I feel that I am being scammed after spending a lot of money.Avoid the app. There is also nobody to actually speak to.Very suspect!
Fetch does not promote healthy eating. Ask the foods you get great points for are very unhealthy. Red dye 40, parabens, high fructose, etc. The value in signing up has decreased. Since when can't you at least get 25 points for a receipt? It's all down hill from here. Hope long can you have a give card before it's not usable? I'm just saying, it's crap now. Done even think of wind in their sweepstakes. That's further down the scanned rabbit whole.
There could be no worse type of company to have but a fraudulent one that makes false claims and intentionally harm the user no reasons at all and then once question for the poor decisioning abilility. They refuse to give any substantial proof. Awful practices and protocol... i smell
Yes free gift cards by taking pictures of stuff your buying anyways. No buying certain things at certain sizes just to be disqualified. Just take a picture showing date, place and total. Make sure the picture is clear. In a years time I have gotten 2 $25.00 gift cards. Compared to Receipt Hog which I haven't even gotten 1 $25.00 gift card. You do get more point on certain products or places but your not required to do so. They have deals like spend 20 on brisk for 5,000 very useful. Referral code UHW97X will start you off with 2,000. Which is basically 2.00. Try it for awhile don't like it delete it. You have up to two weeks to claim it, otherwise your receipt is too old. Which is plenty of time in my opinion.
I think they look for reasons to go after people and take away points they have earned. They don't even let people explain themselves, seems like a greedy way to take away from other for themselves. I just deleted my app finally after they took away my 7,000 points. They never give you points for all your offers either and make you submit a request to get them. Took me 3 times writing them last time before they gave me the correct amount. Don't wait until you have a large amount of points to cash out either. I've seen several people have large amounts taken away for excuses they come up with.
Answer: This is all a scam. They use your purchases to track what you buy so that they can sell your information. You will never get the rewards.
