I have been trying to get a hold of a representative. All I get when I call numerous Fidelity phone numbers is put on hold. I don't have the time to sit on hold for these long times. And I am too important for this crap. They should hire new people to cover these wait times. Because of their terrible no-show customer service I moved $500,000 to another broker. Now I will remove the rest of my funds to another broker. Guess they don't mind losing customers and money. What a joke.
I was somehow signed up for 401k through Fidelity and sadly didn't notice until it was deducted from my paycheck. I had to get the deductions to stop(hopefully) and will be taxed on my refund on something I never agreed to. My payroll has no idea how this happened which is also very concerning.
Today I spent 1 hour an forty minutes on the phone with two customer representative who were trying to restore on-line access to my account. Earlier in the day I had spent about 40 minutes on the phone with another customer service rep, who had erroneously claimed he fixed the problem. After all of this, they said the only people who could help me had gone home for the day and to call back. (Most of the time I spent on the phone with customer service the people who can allegedly help me were there).
Fidelity must not want you to make trades on iPhone or iPads. They just changed the app, making it impossible to trade. Live streaming does not work while trying to make a trade. The older version worked good, the new apps makes your device freeze, and you have long delays. I've spent hours on the phone with technical support. It is not my device, it's their app. I would not recommend them, if you want to make trades yourself. They must not want clients.

Fidelity has the absolute worst customer service and once they get your money, good luck getting it back. My Dad was killed in an accident in 2017, and here we are in July of 2022 and I'm still fighting to get his 403B that he named me the beneficiary of. I reported them to the BBB last week and since then I've spent more than 2 hours of the phone with fidelity (most of that time on hold) and then after insanely long hold time they hang up the phone. This company is outrageous and I hope anyone that loses a family member doesn't have to go through the hell this place has put me through trying to get what my Dad left for me.
Their website did not work. It was 2 days. I called and in 30min I was transferred to 4 people. 46 min later someone puts in a 'work ticket' for me. No expectation of outcome, no idea if I will ever be able to use the website. Pathetic. Stay away, go to ANOTHER investment firm. Edward jones is great, and TRowe price is good too.
I am not interested in these people. I find them very unhelpful and worthless. I can not wait until I can severe ties with these people. God I would not give these people one dime ever.
Stay away from them at all costs, they took 100 from my IRA without disclosing, disclaimer or anything in regards to the 100 fee they took from my account. I was looking to roll over 70k total in assets between brokerage and retirement accounts to consolidate with them, instead they stole 100 from my IRA and will not refund it. No documents saying I would incur a fee for the transactions whether it was 1 dollar or 1 million. This sets back my distribution on my end 100 plus the 100 they took. Don't make my mistake by using this company.
Great customer service but their ATP conditional/composite orders are impossible to set up. You cannot set an OTOCO so that your buy is a trailing stop loss (to avoid buying stock on a free fall), then one of your conditional sells is based on the purchase price to protect your investment. Also you often want to repeat a conditional trade sequence after completion and no capability to do that, you have to retype that form (5 minutes) -- try that when you want to do that multiple times a day for 10 different stocks! It is just an excercise in assure failure to place the orders that you want.
Answer: Expect to wait on hold for 15mnto 30mn and get nowhere when you get someone on the phone.
