I have used this site to connect with Filipinos (as in guys). There are many scammers who use this site but in amongst the scammers I have found a number of genuine guys. You just have to exercise caution and, as the site advises, don't send money to anyone you have not met in person. Well I would advise don't send money to anyone you haven't communicated with for several months and even then, if you chose to do so, only send small amounts. If they persistently keep asking for more stop communicating. I have paid for a monthly subscription on a few occasions and never had any issues with cancelling the subscription. But it is an automatic renewal subscription so you must physically cancel in via the website. I use this site and I like this site.
First never, never send money to anyone you haven't met in person. What I have done is use the free feature to gather possible profiles.
Then right before you're ready to visit pay for one month only. Contact them and weed out the scammers. Set up meetings and have fun. Be smart about it.
FULL of scammers. I just lost $2000 to a very sophisticated scammer. You think you can pick them but there are some very sneaky hustlers on here. Even ones that prove their identity. You might get lucky with some but stay away from the pretty girls. They do this for a living.
Its not a perfect site as there are scammers... but if you take a little time to sort them out you can find amazing ladies... i just picked an amazing lady it look just a few weeks then i decided... here i am married years latter... never thought id be here
Hi Ken,

I have used it a number of times with some result. However, I just got the same result with Date in Asia which is totally free and with a better and simpler user interface. Filipino Cupid is a nuisance by being pushy and greedy. They have built in scams like automatic membership renewal which is a trick to suck your money from the credit card without asking for permission. If you forget to opt out they will suck your money for months even if you never log in. I think is a borderline legal practice that by itself make the site not trust worthy. Is also full of scammer members that try to make money in various ways

This site is plagued with scam artists (both the company and individuals). Very few women are on here. And to show you the scam from the company's end of things they gave me an hour of premium service and all the messages were copied and pasted repeats of the same 5 messages... Only one woman out of the 80 messages I received was real. And I know she was real because she gave me her instagram! Tread CAREFULLY on this site.

The company uses an auto renewal feature that defaults back to YES auto renew me after you make your purchase even after you select No at time of purchase. This is a tactic that they have used in the past and when I called them out on it they did a credit to my card but once again they pulled the same thing and I did not realize it until about 10 days after they auto billed me. I demand they credit my card but refused and their excuse was..."your using the service still". Yes because you keep charging me after I said No auto renewal and you won't turn it off.
This is criminal to change auto renewal behind the backs of the customer. Thugs!

All the women the I contacted and/or contacted me turned out to be fake. This goes for the "Verified" women as well. One "Verified" women on the site disappeared/deactivated her profile as soon as she got my WhatsApp number. I mean in like 2 minutes. The do not refund money either, not if you sent one like, message, or any other contact, they will not refund. The are a total scam!
This site, while offering some real profiles, is primarily made up of fake profiles. Of the 15 women I 'talked' with, only ONE, that's right ONE was real.
Most of the information is fake, the photos are fake and once you respond to a person the scam begins. It can be a family crisis, or using a specific travel agency, or some other means to separate you from your money.
Spread the word that this site is a rip-off
