Tip for consumers:
Dont buy !
While this program is easy to use and has a bunch of "free" content you can add into your videos it has an annual subscription, not at all worth it. I am going back to apple's free software, it does the same thing but doesn't cost anything.
Tip for consumers:
Use other software, it is cheaper and you don’t end up learning something that is going to cost you more.

They used to sell lifetime plan but sadly they change their lifetime's terms and the name (to Perpetual Plan) Now you won't get free update if there's a "major" update. Which means you need to pay annually (because they release a "major" update every year).
Then how can you call the plan "Lifetime" or "Perpetual " if we lifetime buyers have to pay annually?
Tip for consumers:
This company is not trustworthy and they charge lifetime buyers annually for an update

I have been dealing with Filmora for two and a half weeks on an issue that should be so easy, but here I am still waiting for help. They claim 24/7 customer service which is actually one email a day with a 3 to 4-day break over the weekend. Their emails don't directly address the issue or any questions that you have so I suspect the whole thing may be a bot. I have been getting suggestions to do my end that are out of context or simply don't work. This very frustrating experience has held up progression in my business and is not sorted out as yet. And being online there is nothing that I can do. Do yourself a favour and find a company that has actual customer service.
Tip for consumers:
Don't use it
I love this software so much it's affordable and easy to use. I would describe it as a mix between final cut and adobe premiere. I love that you can add more then one overlay too! Love this for editing videos!
They offer a lot of free effects and is by far the easiest to use for beginners and experts! They offer multiple platforms and I would never use another editing software because no other price can compare!
Fell for the same '7 day trial' that turned out only to be a trial of the plugins and not the subscription itself. Saw that the next day almost 100 dollars had been taken from my account for a year's subscription, insurance (for what?) and something else. Sent them an email and had a very arrogant reply from customer service that the subscription was non-refundable when people 'change their mind'. Scammy policies and false advertising are designed just to pull you in. Plus the so-called features are not good. The audio-to-text captions feature doesn't seem to understand an Australian accent, so all the captions need to be rewritten by hand anyhow. Avoid this company like the plague.
Tip for consumers:
Read the fine print and do NOT give them your card details

I love to use Filmora for all of my video editing needs. It allows me to import video and other media, use its powerful editing tools, and then export my finished product to my choice of platforms, all with ease. While I've only used it to make simple videos, it has a wealth of features that I haven't even touched. One thing I am really enjoying with this product is the lifetime free upgrades included with my purchase.
I love Filmora. It's easy and Fun. The creativity is endless. I love learning new techniques and the Filmora YouTube channel. I am going to use the Filmora Pro next. I tried the Adobe Premier version which is very similar to the Filmora Pro but Filmora is easier! Keep up the great job in helping us creators get our work out to the masses!
I like using filmora, but it's not a product I can use overall. It boasts some audio editing features that are unusable for a quality final product. And at times rendering isn't an option which makes it difficult to edit accurately. But I continue to use it and will always turn to it in a pinch. Just seems like for its most basic features, it can be a gamble.
I have to say the second call was the charm. I was advised to use a different email address and I was able to upload my video. What an excellent product but customer service is only OK.

Wondershare. Free? If you want to upload or write your video to disc etc you will have to pay a small fee. It is a good programme with great customer service so I did not mind but read everything as with most free software there will be small extras [FXs/transitions etc] that you will need to un-tick or you will be charged a monthly fee. For totally free software for art try Artweaver, for free word processing try Libreoffice
Bought the Filmora9's lifetime license from AppSumo & I've been using it for about 2 years from now, absolutely intuitive & packed with all the essential features that a video editing software should have.
I can confidently say that Filmora 9 & Filmora Pro. Is definitely suitable for beginners to advanced vloggers/marketers/video editors who're looking to spend the least amount of money to get an Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro alternative.

I freelance & needed to edit some simple videos for clients. Filmora let me get started easily, which let to a lot of new business for me. It's a good value.
Here are two major issues with the software and the company:
1) Crippleware: Your video gets marred by a watermark that is almost completely opaque and takes up half the screen. Combine with being a software as a service (monthly payments) rather than buying for a 1-time fee like most other software across the internet makes it even worse. You have to subscribe for this if you want good videos, which means that they are greedy, much like adobe when they went subscription-only. Thank god there ARE video editing software that don't have sh! Tty watermarks on it, like Videomeld.
2) The company censors reviews saying about its watermarks, look at this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38MbqrkLplk&t=0s what you see is a video taken down by obviously "Filmora Video Editor". This violates free speech and fair use. They want people to not know what that thing is on their video and get the software to shake down on users.
What they could've done is either make the watermark more transperent or smaller, stop with the false DMCA abuse, and actually disclose to the consumers the full information about the crippleware. (like " make sure you make a backup" or something)
Hello, you have the most user friendly software and I would definitely recommend this program to everyone!
