After more than 6 months exhausting my resources, I tried Find My Profession, and it was a great. Working with RR Brandon made looking for the right position was easy and would recommend FMP to anyone out there looking for the right position in this job market.
They are quick to take you money and not provide the service they provide, I bought the VIP Gold Package for a federal job. After the final draft I had to do some correction (Grammar), I started using and no luck applied for more than 200 positions and nothing. I reached *, Director, Executive Resume Services and I am still waiting over a month for her response and nothing they blame for the pandemic and will not issue a refund or work on my resume. I paid $1295 for a package to include a resume, cover letter and linkedin profile update. They guaranteed a resume draft in 7 days. The first resume draft I received was at the 7 day limit (came late on a Friday night no less) and the quality presented me as a college grad, not a seasoned executive - * was the writer. I am an established exec and sent them examples of cover letters, resumes, and my LinkedIn Profile content, which I have maintained over the course of my career - * had plenty to work with, yet she somehow managed to diminish it all. I was re-assigned a resume writer, *, when I requested a refund. I received a barely edited version of my existing resume... after 2+ weeks... clock still ticking. I had to follow-up with * to remind her that she needed to complete a cover letter (yet another week until delivered..."I usually only work on resumes" was her excuse) and yet another week with my prompting until * delivered a linked in profile that was no more than the exact restatement of the poor quality resume they produced. It took well over 30 days - a full month... so much for 7 days - to receive all of the deliverables... none of which are usable. Absolutely horrible experience. What a scam. $1295 down the drain - a complete waste, and the 3 jobs I had hoped to apply for using a professional tune-up were lost - postings pulled, not surprising after 30 days have passed. Look elsewhere, or dig into your updates yourself - you'll be better off.

A promotional opportunity arose at the organization where I am employed. I feel strongly that I am qualified for the position but felt my resume was lacking in many ways. It was not an executive quality resume. I decided that a professional re-write of my resume would be a good investment and I was not disappointed.
This service is not cheap by any means, although it is also not anywhere near the most expensive. I could have easily gone to one of the services that provides a resume rewrite at half the price or less. But I also believe in paying for quality and the ratings for Find My Profession were very good. The reviews spoke highly of the process and although I had trepidations about spending that amount of money, I went ahead and purchased the service.
Within a day of placing my order, I was contacted by Find My Profession and assigned a writer who would work with me named Rebecca S. Rebecca was very responsive to my needs and walked me through getting the information together that she needed. Part of this effort was to schedule a short call to discuss what I am looking for and get any missing details. Rebecca took the time on the call to get all the information she needed to write up an impressive resume. Once I received the draft of the resume, I was blown away. I don't think I am a bad resume writer by any means, but she is a resume artist. She took many of the projects I have led that seem mundane and boring to me and made them sound exciting and impressive.
I don't know how the interview for the position will go. But if I don't get the job, it won't be because of the resume. Thank you, Rebecca and Find My Profession, for a job well done. I appreciate the hard work and attention to detail. I appreciate your ability to turn me into an IT superhero.

Overview (I have a few additional points in emails but will be brief): I worked along with the assigned professional. I put in over 25 hours since my position is unique which I think is needed to get good results. I had a phone call and then sent emails bulleted with directions for adjustments industry specific that I found that were not followed (over and over). I felt that there were errors etc that I needed to correct (a lot that were mostly grammatical or formatting) and then repeat my requests and proof read on those previous requests. I requested another follow up call hoping to talk rather than email directions since maybe this was confusing. I had said to call after 5pm on Thursday. I left work early and made sure I was home at 4:30pm to ensure I didn't miss the call. I received no call or email. I reached out at 7:30pm stating she may have been caught up to reschedule. This professional replied: you didn't state a time so I didn't call, never mentioning additional dates or times for that call. No second call was made, which honestly these projects need more than one phone call to understand different professions.
Following that I had a few minor revisions that this professional seemed to get annoyed with. She had stated on one of the last emails that she would send a final email but then only replied: Good luck on your job search. I replied Thank you. Overall I feel disappointed that I bought a VIP package with poor customer service resulting, which is very expensive compared to all other services. I went this route because of the reviews and considered it a complete investment. While Im happy with the end results, I put in a lot of work, and time into this project but feel that I experienced poor customer service overall. I work in an industry that I need to have great customer service which I feel that this professional started out like but got annoyed with minor requests that she should have remembered or honesty picked up on for formatting concerns.
Overall, Im not as impressed as I hoped I'd be. I had mentioned this service to a few industry colleagues but have stopped discussing my experience after the above occurred.
