Hard to find a trusted service provider these days. Especially when your goods include lithium batteries. They are the one, very helpful, upfront, reliable, responded my queries in timely manner, and I got my item imported from UK, delivered to my place without any issue.
I used to love forward2me but the cost of my recent package was twice what it normally would be. Numerous extra charges and limited shipping options. This may have been the last time I'll use this service.
Very satisfied. Super fast service, fair prices, various shipping options, easy set up and all very transparent. Additional services (storage up for 30 days etc.) available too. Highly recommended.

Our Tax Free warehouse in Guernsey is not part of the United Kingdom or a member of the European Union. It has a special status negotiated by treaty that means that Guernsey is within the EU for most of the purposes of the free movement of goods but outside the EU for other purposes. In practice, Guernsey uses UK postcodes and many UK retailer’s deliver to the island on the same terms as mainland UK.
However, we will advise customers to avoid shipping from Guernsey to mainland UK, unless the item is being returned to sender, because the goods would still be subject to import duties or import taxes or both upon entry into mainland UK depending on the type of item and its declared value. Hence the reason why we do not offer customer's the option to choose mainland UK as a shipping destination from Tax Free warehouse through their account themselves.

I gave 3* to my experience with Forward2me.
In fact I would give 1* to the online service, and 5* to Kat, the young woman who answered my call and helped me go thru this confusing Web site.
Kat is great.
Now with the online service (note that there is an application with the same name in Android Play which has nothing to do with them).
I don't know who designed this service but it is confusing.
Developing a 'User Friendly' system was obviously not in the scope of work!
To make a long story short:
Between the time Forward2me received my package (a mobile phone) and the time I was able to ship it, it took 3 incredible days!
With an other similar service I use when shopping in the US, the same process takes 15 minutes at most.
Because it is a mobile phone and it has battery (obviously) they labelled it as a 'dangerous good' and organizing shipping became a complicated process, numerous email exchanges... until I eventually decided to call their hot line and was able to speak to Kat.
Kat knows how to handle a customer in distress!
It took some time and efforts (their policies are really not towards efficiency), but Kat managed to go through all difficulties, make the necessary calls to get things moving and more.
I wish I called earlier.
At the end of the day... 5* to Katt, 1 or 2* at best to Forward2me.

My UK order arrived quickly and the whole process was very smooth. No complaints!
My other order from Germany was undelivered and returned by DHL apparently because the address I provided was not in the exact format DHL Germany wanted it. I copy pasted the address provided to me by Forward2Me so I do not know if it is DHL that did not deliver it or their warehouse staff refused to accept the delivery because the address format was not "exactly" as it should be although I copy pasted. One of the two parties seem to lack some flexibility compared to the UK.

Overall my experience with your service has been great except this most recent time. I had reached out via email because I felt like there were some incorrect items in my box. I was advised somebody would look into it and get back to me but they never did. I went ahead and paid for shipping on the items you had in my box because maybe I had made the mistake. However, when the items arrived I realized that most (29 items arrived, 14 belonged to me) packages in my box were actually intended for another person that just so happened to be located in my local area. Think about this, had I not been the one who received the packages this other individual would have been out on 15 items. That's just wild to think, and what makes it worse is that I identified the issue was but it was never looked into further. This makes me hesitant to continue to use your services.
Update: everything has been rectified, and they went above and beyond to do so. Customer service is beyond exceptional and I understand that mistakes happen so overall a non-issue at this point because they took the time to understand and resolve the issue and once again went above and beyond to do so. Highly recommend their services based on their service alone.

I looked at the website, read that shipping costs 9.99, repacking 4 GBP, so I decided to use this service. It was until checkout when I realized that after repacking I can't use cheap shipping for 9.99, but only 40 GBP express shipping. And I had to repack anyway, because one of my parcels was damaged. So 44 GBP for shipping 40 GBP mechandise...

Trying to make a purchase from a German eBay Seller, the seller did not ship to countries outside the EU because of nonEU buyers.
I found Forward2me through internet reviews. Forward2me provided me the opportunity to purchase an eBay item from Germany not available outside the EU. I was, furthermore, able to track the purchase from the Seller first through eBay and then through the shipper provided by Forward2me.

There are two inbox addresses (UK (non-EU) and DE (EU)) in the company for a customer. A customer can have the primary shipping address is in EU. The service does not match the personal shopper locality and the customer delivery address. For example, EU to EU, and non-EU to non-EU. It would be better that forward2Me will match or request the matching to reduce tax costs.

We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied, however, as per our terms of trade, section 8, from our website, all shipments that are dispatched through our services are sent under the delivery terms of 'Delivered Duty Paid' or 'Delivered At Place' with all of the tracked couriers from all of our available warehouses. Any duties and taxes owing for shipments upon import into the destination country would be the responsibility of the receiver to pay. If you are disputing the total duties and taxes that have been charged for your shipment, it is the responsibility of the receiver to contact the courier from the destination country to review the charges further. We are not responsible for any duty and tax rates that are applied for shipments in the destination country and all duty and taxes rates do vary from country to country.
Unfortunately we don't currently have the accreditation required to be able to carry out the customs clearance and calculate the duties for the goods through our services-only through the carriers. The customs clearance process is a feature that we are currently looking into and it is our aim to eventually incorporate customs clearance within our service in the coming months.
