Hard to find a trusted service provider these days. Especially when your goods include lithium batteries. They are the one, very helpful, upfront, reliable, responded my queries in timely manner, and I got my item imported from UK, delivered to my place without any issue.
I used to love forward2me but the cost of my recent package was twice what it normally would be. Numerous extra charges and limited shipping options. This may have been the last time I'll use this service.
Aimee, who is in charge of the UK warehouse, provided accurate and prompt answers regarding combine and repack. They also helped me fill out the tracking fields.

I wanted to order some heated insoles from Amazon.de that could not be shipped by them to the US. I used the estimation tool at Forward2Me to see approximately how much it would cost to have them forwarded based on the size and weight of the package. It was expensive, as expected, but I decided to go ahead with my order to Amazon.de and pay for forwarding.
When the insoles arrived at Forward2Me, there was a hassle about the fact that they have lithium batteries (that get shipped everywhere, all the time, with a simple notification on the outside of the package). Forward2Me apparently wanted to add a charge to me initially for the batteries (even though Amazon.de had shipped to Forward2Me free) as if this were something unusual. However, they backed off that (probably due to my Support person's intervention; see below).
Once the idea of an added charge for lithium batteries was worked out, what should have happened was that I would get to choose from a menu of shippers showing their prices and service times for my package. That did not happen. I was presented with one "option" with a price much higher (about double) what the lowest price shippers on the estimation tool had shown. This brought my total price for the already expensive insoles to a crazy level, so I requested Forward2Me to return the insoles to Amazon.de so the purchase price could be refunded to my credit card.
In spite of the fact that Amazon.de offered free shipping on the return, I anticipated that Forward2Me would want to charge me something for their trouble.
This did not happen, likely due to the excellent support I received throughout this lengthy, time-consuming process from Nica at Forward2Me. Nica was great. I have run Support teams in my past corporate life, so I am a connoisseur of customer support and like to think that I know what I am talking about in this regard. Great job, Nica! And if Nica was great, probably the manager of the Support team knows what they are doing.

I have checked the conversation with one of the agents, its appear that your packages were marked as battery and however, as they are 2 batteries in equipment it wont restrict you from shipping directly from your account.
I apologize for any confusion or inconvenience caused by the discrepancies between the estimated and actual shipping costs. However, if you have the correct weight, dimensions and if you added the correct city and post code from pricing page you will get the same shipping cost as your physical packages.
I also want to note, that we do not offer forward2me lite and lite x from the Germany warehouse this is only being offered from the UK warehouse only.

What started off very choppy with Forward2me in my first week was handled very well by Regilyn at the Customer Support team.
It's my first time using this service, and ordered items from Fred Perry UK to be shipped to Singapore - a couple shirts and a cap to be exact. When it arrived at the forward2me UK address, it was first flagged as unsafe - and the only option I had was to repack it (and hence the more expensive shipping options). I contacted their customer service team, and Regilyn responded and removed the flag, marking it as safe. Not entirely sure how 2 shirts are unsafe - but that's a story for a different day.
Unfortunately this led to the next issue, I wasn't able to find the Lite and Lite X options for direct shipping, and all that was available was 60 GBP shipping option, which were prohibitively expensive for shipping items worth 100 GBP. This was a complete mismatch to their pricing calculator, which I had used for the same dimensions and weight for my package - the options and pricing there were a lot cheaper than the actual options I was presented with.
After a few days of back and forth emails with their customer support team to ask for clarifications, which was frustrating me as nobody bothered to respond to me properly, Regilyn finally took ownership, called me and assured me that she will ensure that my concerns were addressed, and within minutes I had confirmation that the package was going to be sent to Singapore.
From being a frustrated customer, she really stepped up to make sure my questions were finally getting the response from forward2me.

My shipment contained alcohol (beer) and due to export/import regulations from the UK warehouse to Germany (thanks, Brexit) I needed to contact customer service - and I thought, "great, that'll take weeks".
But - quite the contrary. I've had the pleasure to have staff member Honey assigned to my case - and she was very helpful, super responsive and guided me through the process in no time, always very clear what the next steps are, what I need to do when, what options I have, etc.
