Hard to find a trusted service provider these days. Especially when your goods include lithium batteries. They are the one, very helpful, upfront, reliable, responded my queries in timely manner, and I got my item imported from UK, delivered to my place without any issue.
I used to love forward2me but the cost of my recent package was twice what it normally would be. Numerous extra charges and limited shipping options. This may have been the last time I'll use this service.
Have used forward2me's services three times now and have found them to be super quick with turnaround and responsible with packing my items. Highly recommend them for shipping.

I had a couple of hats I ordered and they threw them in the smallest box possible damaging two of the hats I was able to fix them but still unacceptable considering that shipping was 46 bucks

This company is absolutely a scam and I'm wondering if the positive reviews are even legitimate. I ordered something through the UK address to send to me in the US and was given the option (on the website order page) to send it via UPS. A month goes by and no package shows up (no tracking updates either) so I reach out to customer support who contacts UPS to find the package. Couple of weeks go by and they get the package back (supposedly) but refuse to send it to me and demand that I fill out forms (not attached to the email - can't find them), give something called a "vat number" and "drop ball" and give them contact information from the original vendor I ordered from. They opened my package and went through it, they clearly know what I purchased! They also demanded I pay fees for UPS losing my package and won't let me have my package until I pay for their mistakes. They can keep my stuff, at this point, we've been going back and forth for MONTHS. I just want this company to stop harassing me for money and leave me be.

Based on the information that UPS has requested from you, we are presuming that your shipment contains items such as a prescription sunglasses or prescription glasses. Please note, local customs requirements for clearing items such as prescription glasses and sunglasses into USA will ask for the receiver to complete a document called a 'Drop Ball' certificate to confirm the manufacturer details and material components for the sunglasses or prescription glasses. This requirement from local customs is beyond our control as a forwarding agency. If possible, please contact our customer experience team from info@forward2me.com and confirm the tracking details for your shipment so we can investigate the issues with your shipment further. Also, are you able to source and complete a copy of the drop ball certificate for the prescription glasses/ sunglasses to pass onto UPS and aid the clearance of your shipment?

I used forward2me to ship an item, however it was more expensive than the standard method of shipping without using forward2me.

I can see that one of your packages was containing alcohol and required a repack prior to shipping. The concept of the combine and repack service would usually refer to removing or reducing as much unnecessary excess space or voids in order to consolidate as many times together as one piece to reduce as much volumetric weight as possible but this would be dependant on the type of items being repacked. Our Japan warehouse may have felt it unsafe to consolidate the CD item with the alcohol in case of potential damages incurring during transit.
The repack service for your alcohol package would have been advised to you to ensure the fragile glass bottle was securely packed, to ensure that little movement could occur inside the package and to avoid risk of the glass item becoming damaged during transit.
Although shipping the alcohol and CD in the same single package may have been more economic and potentially saved you costs on the shipping from our Japan warehouse, the repack team did not feel this was the safest option for your goods. It is not guaranteed that a combine and repack service will provide sufficient cost savings on the shipping prices with the available courier services as this would be dependant on the types of items that are being repacked inside a package.
We must make you aware that we will always assess and repack fragile items, such as ceramics and glass items, for safety over volume for onwards shipping and we could not make any guarantees that a combine and repack service will always assist with reducing the overall chargeable weight for the shipping price.

I made a purchase from a UK merchant to be sent to the Forward2Me Guernsey warehouse in order to be forwarded to the US. The merchant delayed shipping a few times and eventually admitted that they were out of stock for some of the popular items I ordered. When I requested cancellation of the order, the merchant refused and insisted that they'll fulfill the partial order and I have to go through the return process to get a refund, which is ridiculous. After the partial order arrived, I reached out to the Forward2Me team to seek their support in getting the parcel returned to UK, which is pretty troublesome, since it involves going through customs, etc. The customer support representative (shout out to Chris, who is fab, two thumbs up) is very responsive and so quick in getting things sorted out and resolved. The Guernsey team so kindly helped to get everything done and handled the customs procedures properly, and even went out to postal service to send out the package. They are truly amazing in every way! Highly, highly recommended! They are reliable, effective, and genuine people! <3 <3 <3

We are sorry that you feel dissatisfied, the fee you refer to is a duty and tax charge and as per our terms of trade, section 8, from our website, all shipments that are dispatched through our services are sent under the delivery terms of 'Delivered Duty Paid' or 'Delivered At Place' with all of the tracked couriers from all of our available warehouses. Any duties and taxes owing for shipments upon import into the destination country would be the responsibility of the receiver to pay. If you are disputing the total duties and taxes that have been charged for your shipment, it is the responsibility of the receiver to contact the courier from the destination country to review the charges further. We are not responsible for any duty and tax rates that are applied for shipments in the destination country and all duty and taxes rates do vary from country to country.
Unfortunately we don't currently have the accreditation required to be able to carry out the customs clearance and calculate the duties for the goods through our services-only through the carriers. The customs clearance process is a feature that we are currently looking into and it is our aim to eventually incorporate customs clearance within our service in the coming months.

I am sorry to hear that you feel dissatisfied with our services and that you have received some of your hats in poor condition to your address in USA.
All damage or loss claims must be notified to us via email as soon as the shipment has been received so we can request the relevant images and documents from you that are relating to the goods in the shipment, proceed to determine liability for the damage and ensure we are still within the stated timeframe to be able to submit a claim to the courier if needed. All damage claims must be notified by us to DHL in writing within 30 calendar days from the date DHL accepted the shipment, failing which no action for damages may be brought against DHL. I have checked the date that your shipment was dispatched from our UK warehouse up until the date of delivery and we should definitely still be within the 30 days timeframe to submit a damage claim with the courier for your shipment, if required, once we have further assessed the images of the damages to the packaging and to your goods.
I can see that you had already submitted a support ticket to us about this damage issue on Tuesday 27th September, one of my customer experience agents has already been in contact with you via email to request the required images and documents for a damage claim ready to escalate this issue to the DHL couriers if needed. We are still waiting for your reply.
If you could respond to the support ticket you already have open with my agent and we will ensure this issue is fully investigated and resolved for you as soon as possible.
